  • George's Revenge: Hill scores 30 vs. Pacers
George Hill turned in a big-time revenge game during a 109-100 win over the Pacers on Saturday, scoring 30 points with six rebounds, five assists, one steal, one turnover and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: A lot of Pacers fans were not the biggest Hill fans because he wasn't a typical point guard and made his money sitting in the left corner and cashing in. Well, he's certainly not in Utah, but Hill wasn't out there to prove anyone wrong. "No statement needed," Hill said after the game. He's having a monster season and he really needs to stay heathy. • Alec Burks looks great vs. Pacers
Alec Burks scored 13 points with four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes against the Pacers on Saturday.

Advice: This was the Burks we were expecting after the Rodney Hood injury (knee) last weekend. He did run some of the second-unit offense and attacked like he has done throughout his career. Most fantasy owners can take a wait-and-see approach here. Joe Ingles has a strong grip on his role as the short-term starter, playing 33 minutes with two points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:15 pm
  • Monta Ellis scores 15 points
Monta Ellis scored 15 points with four rebounds, one assist, two steals and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes against the Jazz during a 109-100 loss to the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: He scored a grand total of five points in his previous three games, so obviously we'll need to see it again. This wasn't a garbage-time special, by the way. This one game isn't good enough to change his outlook yet, but he gets a good matchup on Monday against the Knicks. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:13 pm
  • Nikola Jokic scores 19 in just 21 minutes
Nikola Jokic made 8-of-11 from the field for 19 points during an easy 123-98 win over the Clippers on Saturday, adding 10 rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in just 21 minutes.

Advice: That's a lot damage in just 21 minutes and it's still an awesome line. The Nuggets crushed this one with a wire-to-wire victory. Jokic's efficiency continues to be the story and it's a big reason why only the Spurs have a better offensive efficiency rating in the last 15 games. We have Karl-Anthony Towns vs. Nikola Jokic Sunday at 7:00 EST, so tell your friends you won't be able to make it to watch the AFC Championship Game. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:06 pm
  • Darrell Arthur plays 13 minutes
Darrell Arthur (knee) played 13 minutes with two rebounds, one steal and one 3-pointer against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: It was a little surprising to see Arthur out there for double-digit minutes. Coach Mike Malone said Arthur will have his minutes managed all season due to his arthritic knees. Even in super deep leagues, he will be way too annoying to own. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:49 pm
  • Rajon Rondo scored zero points in six minutes
Rajon Rando was held scoreless in six minutes on Saturday against the Kings.

Advice: Rondo did not attempt any shots, but dished out four assists and got a steal. The fact that he played just six minutes, despite Michael Carter-Williams struggling, has to be concerning. It appears that Rondo will not have a big role in Chicago in the foreseeable future and only a trade will help his fantasy value. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:47 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari scores 18 in return
Danilo Gallinari (ankle) returned after a one-game absence against the Clippers on Saturday, scoring 18 points with four rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Advice: The Nuggets are just rolling as an offense and it really hasn't even mattered who starts. Coach Mike Malone seems hellbent on playing Gallinari big minutes and was headed to the upper 30s today because he didn't play in the final nine minutes for garbage time. Gallo is a must-start guy, but the injury risk is real. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:47 pm
  • Nurkic has terrific game vs. Clipers
Jusuf Nurkic scored 12 points with five rebounds, three assists and no turnovers in 20 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: Only six of these minutes were in garbage time, so this may be one of the most encouraging games for Nurkic in a while. He gets a good matchup on paper against the larger Wolves frontline and the Nuggets seem committed to playing Kenneth Faried at the four most of the time. Nurkic still isn't a hot add and really needs a trade to reach his potential. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:44 pm
  • Juan Gone: Hernangomez falls out of rotation
Juan Hernangomez played five minutes with two points and one assist against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: He was out of the rotation until garbage time. We'll see Hernangomez again after his 38-minute game on Thursday, but there's no need to hold him in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:41 pm
  • Jamal Murray set for more minutes
Jamal Murray scored five points with one rebound, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: He has said he wants to play point guard and he'll get his wish now to back up Jameer Nelson with Emmanuel Mudiay (back) out for Sunday. Gary Harris (ankle) is also out, so Murray should be looking at close to 27 minutes as the combo guard against the Wolves. He's not playing well enough to add in most leagues, though. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:39 pm
  • Dejounte Murray plays really well in start
Dejounte Murray scored 14 points with two rebounds, six assists and two turnovers in a start against the Cavs on Saturday.

Advice: Solid. He didn't close this game out, but that would put him on pace to be a Spurs great with how coach Gregg Popovich doesn't trust rookies. Murray should see some decent run in the first half with Tony Parker (ankle) out and he's already way ahead of the curve. He's worth a look in the short term for deep leagues and his Dynasty owners should be really encouraged today. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:37 pm
  • Jameer Nelson scores six points
Jameer Nelson scored six points with two rebounds, eight assists and one turnover in 29 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: Emmanuel Mudiay (back) has already been ruled out for Sunday, so he's a good bet to miss multiple games due to an aggravation. In Nelson's starts, he's averaged 14.0 points, 3.3 boards, 5.9 assists, 0.4 steals and 1.9 treys. If you have anything you're not too attached to and need some wins for next week, it makes a lot of sense to add him in most leagues until Mudiay gets the all clear. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:31 pm
  • Robin Lopez nearly double-doubles
Robin Lopez scored nine points with eight rebounds, two assists and one block in 29 minutes on Saturday against the Kings.

Advice: Lopez is averaging 11.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.0 blocks per game over his last five. He does not produce eye-popping numbers, but has returned decent value to fantasy owners this season. The Bulls face the Magic on Tuesday, which is a good matchup for Lopez, as they are giving up the fifth most rebounds per game with a -2.1 differential. They are also yielding the sixth most fantasy points per game to centers. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:31 pm
  • Raymond Felton scores 14 off the bench
Raymond Felton made 6-of-17 from the field for 14 points off the bench against the Nuggets during a 123-98 loss on Saturday, adding three rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Advice: He did start the second half because the Nuggets ran all over them with their bigger lineup including Mo Speights. Felton should be moving back into the starting lineup against the Hawks on Monday and should be able to flirt with top-100 value while Chris Paul (thumb) is out. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:28 pm
  • Austin Rivers scores 16 points in start
Austin Rivers scored 16 points with two rebounds, five assists and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes as the starting point guard against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Advice: The fact that he started over Raymond Felton was a good sign, but getting smoked in the first half negates that. With Blake Griffin (knee) getting really close, it should affect Rivers the most because he's more of a score-first guard and that's not needed as much next to BG. Plus, he has been a nightmare on defense. He's a hold for the rest of the month, but may fall off in February. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:24 pm
  • Nikola Mirotic scores 11 points in win
Nikola Mirotic scored 11 points with five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in Saturday's 102-99 victory over the Kings.

Advice: It was his best game since returning from illness, but nothing to be too excited about. He can frustrate owners with his volatility. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:23 pm
  • Marreese Speights scores 18 in start
Marreese Speights scored 18 points in a start against the Nuggets on Saturday, adding three rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

Advice: His 74th start of his career and first since January 2015 did not result in a win despite his strong start. Speights came off the bench to start the second half, so this may have been a matchup move. Speights has been hanging in the mid-rounds these days, but his value will take a hit once Blake Griffin (knee) comes back. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:19 pm
  • Dwyane Wade scores team-high 30 points
Dwyane Wade hit 9-20 shots and 12-of-15 free throws for 30 points with six rebounds, four assists, three steals and four blocks on Saturday against the Kings.

Advice: Wade stuffed the stat sheet and helped the Bulls snap a two-game losing streak. Chicago will get two days of rest before heading to Orlando to take on the Magic, a team that Wade played 25 minutes against and scored 16 points with three rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks in their last meeting. He should be well rested and ready to roll in that matchup. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:18 pm
  • Kawhi Leonard scores career-high 41 points
Kawhi Leonard won the battle against LeBron James during a thrilling 118-115 overtime victory in Cleveland on Saturday, scoring a career-high 41 points with six rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 46 minutes.

Advice: He's not a system player. He's a system, player. Leonard's offense has been better than his defense these days with six consecutive games of at least 30 points. He joins only George "The Iceman" Gervin as the only two in Spurs history to do that. Leonard wasn't expected to have a J coming out of college, but he posted a 58.7 effective field goal percentage on just his 92 jumpers alone in his last six. The Spurs are first in the NBA in offensive rating in that span and it's all about Kawhi. The Spurs are a Kawhi system these days. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:16 pm
  • Anthony Tolliver struggles vs. Bulls
Anthony Tolliver hit 2-of-7 shots for six points with one rebound and two 3-pointers in Saturday's loss to the Bulls.

Advice: Tolliver continues to struggle and has now scored fewer than 10 points in four of his last five games, averaging 27.8 minutes, 6.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game during that stretch. With Rudy Gay (Achilles) out, more was expected out of Tolliver, but he has not lived up to the hype and is far from a must-own player at this point. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:10 pm
  • Mills scores 13 off the bench
Patty Mills scored 13 points with three rebounds, five assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday

Advice: With Tony Parker (ankle) set to miss time, Mills will get a better chance for minutes. Although, Dejounte Murray has been fantastic, so Mills may actually not benefit at all. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:04 pm
  • Garrett Temple plays 30 minutes in loss
Garrett Temple scored eight points with three rebounds, three assists, one block, two steals and one 3-pointer on Saturday against the Bulls.

Advice: He is averaging 30.2 minutes, 8.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in his last five. With Rudy Gay (Achilles) out for the season, Temple should continue to see consistent minutes and is worth adding off of waivers in many leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:03 pm
  • Montrezl Harrell plays 16 minutes in start
Montrezl Harrell started again on Saturday, but played just 16 minutes and finished with six points and two rebounds.

Advice: We said in his previous blurb that he'll need to have 20-24 minutes to hold value and those of you who dropped him early when Clint Capela was on the verge of a return should feel better about that decision after this one. There's still a chance Harrell could hold a little value, but he and Capela both got 16 minutes tonight and Capela's run should only increase as he gets healthy from a broken leg. Harrell is likely to end up on waivers in a ton of leagues if he continues to see his minutes drop, while a move to the bench is likely coming as well. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:01 pm
  • Kyle Anderson gets 18 minutes
Kyle Anderson played 18 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday with two points, four rebounds, one assist, four steals and two blocks.

Advice: The Spurs when with a small-ball four and it really worked out. Anderson was a +19 in the plus-minus stat and he was out there on the last play, as well. Anderson could get decent run on Monday against the Nets, but obviously we're not adding him. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:00 pm
  • Raymond Felton moving to the bench
Raymond Felton will come off the bench against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Advice: He won't be getting a revenge game as a starter. It makes some sense because the Clippers have to figure out what to do with their bench and they need another big out there against Kenneth Faried -- Luc Mbah a Moute should guard Danilo Gallinari. Felton's owners shouldn't panic here. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:31 pm
  • Mile High Buckets: Mo Speights starting
Marreese Speights will start against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Advice: Mo Buckets has been lighting it up with treys in 17 straight, so he'll be taking those into altitude. Speights in a starting role is very intriguing, but it's hard to pick him up long term with Blake Griffin getting closer. If you want to use him for this week, give him a look. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:31 pm
  • Mudiay, Will, Gallo, Faried, Jokic starting
Emmanuel Mudiay, Will Barton, Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried and Nikola Jokic will start against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: He is fine and should feast in this game as long as he doesn't get into foul trouble. Trust the Jokic. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:26 pm
  • Darrell Arthur to be inactive often?
Darrell Arthur (knee) is expected to rest and miss practices throughout the season.

Advice: He is dealing with arthritis in his need, so the Nuggets will be cautious with him all season. This is not surprising at all based on his injury history. Arthur may not be in the rotation while Kenneth Faried is active. Leave him on the wire almost everywhere. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:26 pm
  • Dwyane Wade is starting again
Dwyane Wade will start again against the Kings on Saturday.

Advice: This isn't a surprise after a really bad loss. The Bulls will still stick with Michael Carter-Williams, Wade, Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson and Robin Lopez. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:18 pm
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) available on Saturday
Darrell Arthur (left knee soreness) will be available to play on Saturday, but will be on a minutes restriction.

Advice: Even once fully healthy, Arthur will have a difficult time earning heavy minutes with Kenneth Faried playing well of late. However, Arthur may cut into the playing time of Faried and Juan Hernangomez. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:28 am
  • Gallinari (ankle) says he will play Saturday
Danilo Gallinari (ankle) says he will play Saturday vs. the Clippers

Advice: Gallinari sat out Thursday's game vs. the Spurs after logging heavy minutes on his nagging ankle earlier in the week. The Nuggets have been unafraid to play Gallinari plenty even when he is dealing with bumps and bruises. Feel free to insert Gallo back in your starting lineup for Saturday. Gallinari's return will cut into Will Barton and Jamal Murray's minutes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:05 am
  • Dejounte Murray to start at PG on Saturday
Dejounte Murray will start at point guard in place of Tony Parker (foot) Saturday vs. the Cavs.

Advice: It was announced earlier in the day that Parker would miss at least two more games. The Spurs are 3-0 when Murray starts this season. He is averaging 12.3 points, 2.3 assists and 2.3 rebounds in the those three contests, although those numbers are inflated due to his awesome outing in the Spurs previous game on Thursday, when he finished with 24 points, two rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes. It is probably safe to assume that Patty Mills will see more than the 16 minutes he played on Thursday. A fair expectation is the two point guards will split Saturday's minutes fairly evenly. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:20 am
  • George Hill fouls out, scores 13
George Hill scored 13 points with one rebound, one assist and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes before fouling out against the Mavs on Friday.

Advice: The ankle injury didn't seem to bother him too much, but foul trouble likely cost him playing time. The law of averages has had its say lately with Hill in a mini-slump over his last three, averaging 14.7 points, 3.0 boards, 3.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.7 treys on 36.4 percent from the field. We all knew he was going to cool down after a magnificent start, but Hill should still be able to flirt with early-round value going forward. Stay healthy. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:22 am
  • Alec Burks gets just 12 minutes
Alec Burks played 12 minutes against the Mavs on Friday with seven points, two rebounds and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He actually got some run at point guard tonight, but clearly the Jazz aren't ready up Burks' minutes so soon with the team playing well. If you haven't dropped him yet, we'll let you know if he pops back up. It does help that the Jazz seem pretty clueless on their backup point guard right now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:18 am
  • Nikola Mirotic scores five points
Nikola Mirotic made 1-of-6 from the field for five points with four rebounds, two assists and five fouls in 17 minutes against the Hawks on Friday.

Advice: When Bad Mirotic shows up, he shows up in emphatic fashion. These are the breaks with him, but he is still worth owning in standard leagues unless there is an irresistible free agent out there. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:44 pm
  • Dwyane Wade has terrible game in ATL
Dwyane Wade made 2-of-10 from the field to match his season-low four points in 20 minutes against the Hawks on Friday, adding three rebounds, three assists and one steal.

Advice: This was a brutal loss for the Bulls and Wade took to Twitter after the game. "That performance was AWFUL!!! I apologize to all the Chicago fans and Wade fans," Wade tweeted. The Bulls are back home on Saturday to face the Kings, so Wade will likely be out there based on these comments. He really only has mid-round upside going forward. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:38 pm
  • Rajon Rondo scores two points
Rajon Rondo scored two points with three rebounds, three assists and three steals in 18 minutes against the Hawks on Friday.

Advice: He was in the rotation, but he's been flat out awful. Rondo can't make free throws, he can't finish at the rim and he's had some defensive issues. We saw Rondo have a really nice season last year, so maybe a trade can get him going. We don't suggest stashing him in most cases. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:33 pm
  • Montrezl Harrell scores eight points
Montrezl Harrel scored eight points in a start against the Warriors on Friday, adding three rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal.

Advice: It'll be interesting for Harrell now that Clint Capela looked fantastic. For what it's worth, Harrell has looked better than Nene (rest), so maybe the Rockets just roll with two bigs. They also don't play two-center lineups, so the No. 2 battle will be important. We would still hold him in most cases because he would likely have value with 20-24 minutes. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:53 pm
  • Garrett Temple scores 14 points in start
Garrett Temple started on Friday vs. the Grizzlies and scored 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting in 33 minutes.

Advice: He was the only starter to eclipse 30 minutes in the blowout, so it's safe to say that the workload will be there with Rudy Gay (Achilles) out for the season. Temple added three rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and two triples and was averaging 11.4 points, 3.1 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.1 treys in seven previous starts this season, so pick him up if those stats fit your team well. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:51 pm
  • Garrett Temple starting vs. the Grizzlies
Garrett Temple is starting vs. the Grizzlies on Friday.

Advice: Rudy Gay (Achilles) is out for the season and Temple and Matt Barnes will likely see the biggest bump in minutes. Temple doesn't have great upside, but he did put up averages of 11.4 points, 3.1 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.1 treys in seven previous starts this season. Give him a look if has a strong game tonight. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:58 pm
  • Montrezl Harrell will start against Warriors
Montezl Harrell will get the start against the Warriors on Friday night.

Advice: With Nene resting and Clint Capela limited to 11 minutes in the last game, Harrell should play a bunch. That said, the Rockets will likely be going small quite a bit in this game and Capela will get more than 11 minutes tonight. We still think Harrell is a very good bet for 24-plus minutes, which makes him a very intriguing target. He should remain owned in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:25 pm
  • Darrell Arthur listed as questionable
Darrell Arthur (left knee soreness) is listed as questionable to play against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: This is an upgrade from him being listed as doubtful to play on Thursday before the DNP. Arthur is likely out of the rotation anyway with Kenneth Faried playing well. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:09 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari (ankle) questionable for Sat
Danilo Gallinari (ankle) is listed as questionable to play against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: Back on Wednesday, he was listed as probable for Thursday, but he did not play in the loss to the Spurs. Gallinari was only ruled out about 30 minutes before the game started, so he was fairly close to playing. If he's out again, Juancho Hernangomez could get another start, but he would be a risky play with Wilson Chandler likely back. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:06 pm
  • Nikola Jokic (ankle) is probable
Nikola Jokic (ankle) is listed as probable for Saturday against the Clippers.

Advice: It's important to note that he is listed for an ankle, which was the same reason he was listed before Thursday's 35-point gem. Jokic had some knee to upper-leg contact and was in some pain for about two minutes, but he didn't miss time. He should be all set for another big game. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:01 pm
  • Report: Jusuf Nurkic 'sure' to be traded
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, Jusuf Nurkic is "sure" to be traded prior to the February trade deadline.

Advice: Per Stein: "Sources say that the Nuggets, having acknowledged that Nikola Jokic and Nurkic didn't click as a pairing, are actively working to find Nurkic a new home that would give him the chance he deserves to be a front-line center." A trade is necessary to revive Nurkic's dying fantasy value. With Jokic playing at an incredibly high level, Nurk simply wastes away on the Denver bench. A trade would be best for all parties involved. It would also clear out more minutes for Kenneth Faried. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:04 am
  • Dejounte Murray returned to action on Thursday January 19. Rotoworld.com Friday, 12:29 am
  • Austin Rivers scores 20 points vs. T-Wolves
Austin Rivers scored 20 points with two assists, one rebound, one block and two 3-pointers in Thursday's 101-104 loss to the Timberwolves.

Advice: Rivers fouled out with five seconds left in the game, but was feeling it tonight as he scored 20 points for just the sixth time this season. He continues to play big minutes, averaging over 35 minutes per game in January and playing at least 31 minutes in eight consecutive games. With Chris Paul (hand) out for 6-8 weeks, Rivers will remain a big part of the Clippers offense until Blake Griffin (knee) comes back. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:11 pm
  • Raymond Felton scores 10 points in loss
Raymond Felton scored 10 points with eight assists, four rebounds and two steals on Thursday night against the Timberwolves.

Advice: Felton got the start for the injured Chris Paul (hand) tonight and played 34 minutes. Although he scored just 10 points, he did contribute in dimes and steals. He should be owned in all formats during Paul’s absence, but will hurt you in field goal percentage some nights. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:09 pm
  • Kawhi Leonard scores 34 points in win vs. DEN
Kawhi Leonard was on fire yet again during a 118-104 win over the Nuggets on Thursday, scoring 34 points with five rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He earned an All-Star starting spot today, which was fairly obvious. Leonard has scored at least 30 points for five consecutive games, which has only been done by two other Spurs ever (George Gervin and Mike Mitchell). Coach Gregg Popovich had a very typical answer about Kawhi's play after the game. "Kawhi Leonard was super, but he's getting paid to be super," Pop said. Leonard is going to be super for a long time. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:24 pm
  • Patty Mills doesn't do much as backup
Patty Mills scored three points with one rebound, two assists and one 3-pointer against the Nuggets on Thursday.

Advice: Dejounte Murray isn't going to go off every night, so expect Mills to be better when Tony Parker (foot) doesn't play. Keep an eye on Parker's status for Saturday, but he is traveling to play in Cleveland. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:49 pm
  • Dejounte Murray scores career-high 24 points
Dejounte Murray had easily his best NBA game of his career in a start for Tony Parker (foot) on Thursday, scoring a career-high 24 points on 7-of-11 from the field with two rebounds, two assists, one steal, one turnover and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: Wow. Murray had no jumper in his time at Washington, making just 34.0 percent of his twos and 28.8 percent of his threes. He also had some horrendous turnover woes, so the one turnover in all that playing time is almost as impressive as the scoring. Clearly, things are working out nicely for the rookie and the Spurs clearly trust him as their No. 3 point guard. This game is a huge fluke, but keep him in mind if Tony Parker (foot) misses games again. Parker is likely to play on Saturday against the Cavs. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:47 pm
  • Trust The Jokic: Nikola scores career-high 35
Nikola Jokic erupted for a career-high 35 points during a 118-104 loss to the Spurs on Thursday, adding 12 rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He went bonkers in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 straight points for the Nuggets to keep them in this game. As you might expect, coach Mike Malone had some nice things to say after the game. "Whether it's playmaking, scoring, rebounding, he's a terrific young talent who's only getting better before our eyes," Malone said. Jokic became the first Nugget with three straight games of at least 25 points and 10 boards since Carmelo Anthony. In those three games, Jokic averaged 31.3 points, 12.7 boards, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 treys on 61.9 percent from the field. He's been a top-five player in his last 10 games. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:41 pm
  • Juan Hernangomez scores eight in a start
Juan Hernangomez played 38 minutes in a start against the Spurs on Thursday, scoring eight points with six rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He was really good and his defensive presence will get him on coach Mike Malone's good side. He played mostly at the three in this game, but he also played some power forward minutes. Hernangomez also played the entire fourth quarter of his close game as the PF-C combo with Nikola Jokic. If Danilo Gallinari (ankle) needs to miss more time, we may see more of Juancho. He's worth a look in 20-team leagues for now. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:33 pm
  • Jamal Murray scores 13 points vs. Spurs
Jamal Murray scored 13 points in 26 minutes against the Spurs on Thursday, adding six rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He picked up some extra run because the Nuggets had to play Will Barton at the three more because both Danilo Gallinari (ankle) and Wilson Chandler (personal) were out. Chances are both of those guys won't miss much time, so we're not suggesting Murray as a pickup in most cases. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:23 pm
  • Jusuf Nurkic gets 14 minutes
Jusuf Nurkic scored five points with one rebound, one block and one turnover in 14 minutes against the Spurs on Thursday.

Advice: The Nuggets had some success with Nurkic next to Nikola Jokic last year and gave it a go briefly in this game. This was also likely due to Wilson Chandler (personal) not playing, so the needle doesn't move much on Nurk here. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:19 pm
  • Felton, JJ, Rivers, Luc & Jordan starting
Raymond Felton, J.J. Redick, Austin Rivers, Luc Mbah a Moute and DeAndre Jordan will start against the Wolves on Thursday.

Advice: This was expected all along and the Clippers will have to manage without the NBA's top player in real plus minus. Felton is worth a look if you need a point guard for the next 6-8 weeks. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:21 pm
  • Tristan Thompson dislocates finger, returns
Tristan Thompson played just 20 minutes against the Suns on Thursday with six rebounds, one assist and two blocks.

Advice: After dislocating his left index finger in the first half, Thompson started the second half with wrap around his finger. Channing Frye played an excellent game and the Cavs never really lost control, so that explains the low playing time. For now, we're expecting Thompson to be a full go on Saturday in the national game against the Spurs. Thompson has only turned in 13th-round value on the season, so he's not the best for fantasy. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:03 pm
  • Dejounte Murray will start for Parker vs. DEN
Dejounte Murray will start for Tony Parker (foot) against the Nuggets on Thursday.

Advice: It'll be the third start of his career. In his previous two, he averaged 6.5 points, 2.5 boards, 2.5 assists and 0.5 treys. He's actually shot the ball a lot better, but obviously you would have to be in a deep league to grab him. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:30 pm
  • Tristan Thompson will start the second half
Tristan Thompson (finger) will start the second half on Thursday.

Advice: X-rays were negative and he should be all set. This game will likely be in garbage time in about 30 minutes. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:29 pm
  • Juancho Hernangomez likely to start
Juancho Hernangomez is likely to start against the Spurs on Thursday.

Advice: With no Danilo Gallinari (ankle) or Wilson Chandler (personal), Hernangomez could see minutes around 24 tonight. We should also see a ton of Barton at the three, which would open up some minutes for Jamal Murray. Hernangomez is only worth a look in deep leagues for now with Chandler and Gallo not expected to miss much time. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:15 pm
  • Dejounte Murray expected to be available
Dejounte Murray (ankle) is expected to be available for Thursday against the Nuggets.

Advice: He may actually get a start after missing the last two games. Murray has almost no value right now, but he is playing better. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:11 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari (ankle) ruled out vs. Spurs
Danilo Gallinari (ankle) has been ruled out to face the Spurs on Thursday night.

Advice: He was probable on Wednesday, but was downgraded this morning to questionable. The Nuggets have continuously listed him as probable for several points this season and would play him, but they'll sit him against Kawhi Leonard. Hopefully, it's just a one-day thing for the oft-injured forward. Will Barton should get massive minutes tonight while Jamal Murray and Juan Hernangomez get some decent burn. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:04 pm
  • Tristan Thompson likely to return to game
Tristan Thompson left Thursday's game in the first half and went straight to the locker room after dislocating his left index finger.

Advice: X-rays were negative and it sounds like he should return to play in the second half, according to the Cavs' broadcast team. He had four rebounds, two blocks and missed both of his shots before heading to the locker room. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:03 pm
  • George Hill will play on Friday night
George Hill (ankle) will play on Friday night against the Mavs.

Advice: He suffered a late ankle tweak on Monday, but he was never considered serious. That said, Hill's injury track record this season is automatically cause for concern, so his owners have to be happy to hear he'll be good to go. He should be starting in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 12:42 pm
  • Wade expected to play Friday and Saturday
Dwyane Wade is expected to play on Friday vs. the Hawks and on Saturday vs. the Kings.

Advice: It's great that he's planning on playing in both games of the back-to-back set, but don't be surprised if his minutes are held in check in both of them. The Bulls will likely make a final decision after Friday's game vs. the Hawks. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:32 am
  • Nikola Jokic (ankle) will play on Thursday
Nikola Jokic (right ankle sprain) will play on Thursday vs. the Spurs.

Advice: He was listed as probable and his status was never really in doubt for tonight's game. Make sure the fantasy superstar is deployed in all lineups, even in a tough matchup vs. the Spurs -- Jokic had 19 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and a steal in their previous meeting on Jan. 5. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:38 am
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) ruled out for Thursday
Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play on Thursday vs. the Spurs.

Advice: Of course he won't. Arthur can't stay healthy and the Nuggets are going to limit his workload whenever they can. With Wilson Chandler (personal) out and Danilo Gallinari (ankle) questionable, we should see a lot of Kenneth Faried tonight and may even get a Jusuf Nurkic sighting. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:19 am
  • Gallinari (ankle) downgraded to questionable
Danilo Gallinari (right ankle) has been downgraded to questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Spurs.

Advice: He was listed as probable on Wednesday, so this is a concern. However, a conflicting report from Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post said Gallinari is a "go." The forward has been on the injury report in his previous three games, but played 30, 40 and 39 minutes in those three contests. If he's unable to play, rookie Juan Hernangomez could see a sizable bump in minutes. Will Barton should also be a workhorse on the wings. Hopefully we'll have more clarity soon. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:18 am
  • Monta Ellis has another terrible game
Monta Ellis scored two points with four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 29 minutes against the Kings on Wednesday.

Advice: He's had a miserable season and maybe he's not healthy. Ellis has scored two points in three of his last five games and has seen his usage drop big time. If you want to drop Ellis for a hot free agent, we still don't blame you. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:45 pm
  • Anthony Tolliver likely headed for minutes
Anthony Tolliver came off the bench against the Pacers on Wednesday with five points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 22 minutes.

Advice: The first time Rudy Gay (Achilles) missed extended time, Tolliver was let loose a bit with 28.7 minutes per game in that 11-game span. He averaged 9.7 points, 4.8 boards, 0.9 assists, 0.5 blocks and 1.9 treys on 50.0 percent from the field. While that percentage may not be sustainable, Tolliver did post ninth-round value in that span, so he's worth a look if you need treys from a power forward. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:20 pm
  • Garrett Temple drops nine points in 29 mins
Garrett Temple played 29 minutes off the bench against the Pacers on Wednesday with nine points, four rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He should be getting a big bump in usage and playing time with Rudy Gay (Achilles). In the previous stretch Gay missed 10 of 11 games, Temple averaged 10.2 points, 3.4 boards, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 treys on 42.4 percent from the field and 89.5 percent from the line. That was good for eighth-round value, so he is worth a look in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:15 pm
  • Montrezl Harrell scores 12 with five blocks
Montrezl Harrell got the start against the Bucks on Wednesday, blocking a career-high five shots with 12 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two turnovers in 27 minutes.

Advice: He's been awesome and the Rockets have a good problem with both Harrell and Clint Capela outperforming their expectations. For what it's worth, the other four starters with Harrell have a +1.7 net rating in 161 minutes while that foursome and Capela is +14.8, so it does make sense to move Harrell to the bench once Capela is 100 percent. Whatever the case, both players could still have value with 20-24 minutes. Obviously they would need Nene to fall out of the rotation, which could happen. Harrell is a hold for now. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:39 pm
  • Harrell starting, Clint Capela to the bench
Montrezl Harrell will move into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game, sending Clint Capela to the bench.

Advice: Capela is being eased back into things after a lengthy layoff, so it doesn't make sense to have him start if he's only going to play around 10 minutes or so. Harrell will likely split minutes at the five-spot with Capela and Nene, so he's not a very attractive option in most formats despite the starter tag. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:25 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari probable to play on Thursday
Danilo Gallinari (right ankle) is probable to play on Thursday against the Spurs on Thursday.

Advice: This is fairly routine for the Nuggets with Gallo also on the injury report on Tuesday. He played 39 minutes and scored 14 points, so he's fairly close to healthy. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:06 pm
  • Jokic, Gallinari probable Thursday vs. SA
Nikola Jokic (right ankle sprain) and Danilo Gallinari (right ankle sprain) are probable to play Thursday vs. the Spurs.

Advice: When they're listed as probable in Denver, that means that they'll get out there, so owners can feel confident plugging these guys in their lineups on Thursday. Jokic has been putting up top-3 numbers in 9-cat leagues over the past two weeks, so he's obviously a must-start guy every time he's active. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:04 pm
  • Darrell Arthur is doubtful to play
Darrell Arthur (knee) is doubtful to play against the Spurs on Thursday.

Advice: He did not play on Tuesday due to his oft-injured knee. With Wilson Chandler (personal) listed as out, there could be plenty of minutes going to Kenneth Faried and even Juan Hernangomez. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:03 pm
  • Robin Lopez working on 3-pointers?
Robin Lopez said he's been working on his 3-pointers and it's not "game ready" yet.

Advice: If Brook [Lopez] can do it, I definitely can," Lopez said. Robin has yet to make a 3-pointer in his entire NBA career with just five attempts. He's actually been very good on his shots from beyond 20 feet this season, making 55.0 percent of his 20 attempts. Lopez has only turned in 12th-round value on the season, so he's only a borderline hold. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:58 am
  • Jameer Nelson comes back to earth Tuesday
Jameer Nelson played 20 minutes and hit just 1-of-2 shots for two points, four assists and a steal in Tuesday's win over the Lakers.

Advice: He was probably a popular DFS play with Gary Harris out again, but he was strictly the backup point guard tonight. He had 18 points, four boards, four assists and two 3-pointers on Monday against his former team (Magic), but wasn't feeling quite as motivated tonight. Will Barton was awesome tonight and is the guy you want to target as long as Gary Harris is out with his ankle injury. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:20 pm
  • Nikola Jokic racks up 29 points, 15 rebounds
Nikola Jokic stayed red hot on Tuesday, racking up 29 points, 15 rebounds, three blocks and a 3-pointer on 12-of-22 shooting in a 127-121 win over the Lakers.

Advice: The Lakers are pretty bad against opposing bigs and Jokic took advantage tonight. He's absolutely crushing right now, scoring 29 and 30 points in each of his last two games, and averaging 25 points, 11.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 3-pointers over his last five games, while shooting a ridiculous 65 percent from the floor and 76 percent from the line. He might be the most underrated fantasy player in the land right now. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:59 pm
  • Patty Mills (left calf tightness) scores 11
Patty Mills (left calf tightness) returned from a one-game absence on Tuesday vs. the Wolves and scored 11 points in 19 minutes.

Advice: His injury is minor and it sounds like he was rested against the Suns on Saturday. He saw a couple minutes less than normal tonight, but was still productive with four assists, one rebound and three triples on 4-of-10 shooting. Tony Parker is playing better these days, so he's the PG you want to own in San Antonio unlike earlier in the season. We'll let you know when that changes. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:21 pm
  • Rajon Rondo fading, scores zero Tuesday
Rajon Rondo played 23 minutes off the bench on Tuesday but missed all four of his shots and failed to score, finishing with just three rebounds and five assists in a loss to the Mavs.

Advice: Rondo is fading fast, hasn't scored more than six points in any of his last four games, and is averaging just 3.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 0.5 steals over his last four games, while hitting just 6-of-25 shots over that stretch. There are simply better players to spend your time and effort on than Rondo right now, but he's probably still worth holding in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:19 pm
  • Nikola Mirotic plays 22 minutes in return
Nikola Mirotic returned from an illness on Tuesday and had six points, five rebounds, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers in 22 minutes.

Advice: Not a bad line from Mirotic, who also benefitted from the absence of Taj Gibson, who was out with an ankle injury. The song remains the same with Miro - he'll have some big games and some bad games, so catching him on the right night can be tough. But if Gibson's ankle injury lingers, Mirotic will be someone worth picking up, while he could also bounce back for a decent second half, with or without Gibson. Mirotic is the textbook definition of a borderline player to own in 12-team leagues. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:09 pm
  • Kawhi Leonard scores 34 w/ 7 boards, 5 dimes
Kawhi Leonard scored 34 points on 12-of-17 shooting in Tuesday's 122-114 win over the Wolves.

Advice: He's unfair. This was Leonard's 12th 30-point game of the season and his fourth in a row, becoming the first Spur to score 30+ points in four straight since Tim Duncan in Jan. 2004. The Claw added seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and two triples, and he also finished 8-of-9 from the free throw line. There's no reason why he shouldn't be a top-5 option in standard leagues the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:08 pm
  • Dwyane Wade scores 17, can't hit winner
Dwyane Wade returned from a rest and played 35 minutes on Tuesday, hitting 8-of-21 shots for 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and a block in a loss to the Mavericks.

Advice: Wade picked up a deflection after Wesley Matthews nearly stole the ball from Jimmy Butler and got a good look at the game-winning shot at the buzzer over Deron Williams, but it wasn't meant to be. Wade is a fine play on nights he's actually playing, But he had missed two of his previous four games coming into this one. The Bulls have another back-to-back this Friday and Saturday, and then again on Tuesday and Wednesday, so owners can only pray that he plays in more than two of those four games. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:04 pm
  • Robin Lopez has best game as Bull Tuesday
Robin Lopez scored a season-high 21 points to go along with five rebounds and a block on 10-of-15 shooting in Tuesday's 99-98 loss to the Mavericks.

Advice: Ro-Lo has been pretty quiet this season with the Bulls, but broke out of a funk tonight. Some more rebounds and blocks would have been nice, but owners will take this one. It probably helped that he was facing a Mavs' team starting ancient forward Dirk Nowitzki at center, so we'll have to see if Ro-Lo can do it again on Friday against Dwight Howard and the Hawks, which will be a tougher test. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:59 pm
  • Montrezl Harrell plays 16 minutes on Tuesday
Montrezl Harrell played just 16 minutes and hit 5-of-6 shots for 13 points, one rebound and no blocks on Tuesday.

Advice: Clint Capela started, but played just nine minutes, while Harrell and Nene handled the center minutes off the bench. Nene had four points and seven rebounds in 24 minutes, but both players are going to take a hit once Capela gets his body back in NBA shape after missing 15 games with a broken leg. If you are ready to drop Harrell, it makes sense. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:08 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari and Will Barton will play
Danilo Gallinari (ankle) and Will Barton (illness) will play on Tuesday vs. the Lakers.

Advice: Both players were listed as probable, but they are ready to roll in a favorable matchup vs. the Lakers. Get them active and check back after the game for an update. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:18 pm
  • Austin Rivers looking at an increased role
Austin Rivers is looking at an increased role moving forward with Chris Paul (thumb) out 6-8 weeks.

Advice: Rivers was going to lose some value with Blake Griffin (knee) nearing a return, but not so fast. With Paul out, both Rivers and Felton could realistically play over 30 minutes a night even with a healthy Blake. Rivers is averaging 16.8 points, 4.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 triples in January, and his usage rate climbs from 14.9 to 21.8 when Paul is off the court. Go pick him up. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 4:34 pm
  • Raymond Felton looking at a bump in minutes
Raymond Felton is looking at a bump in minutes with Chris Paul (thumb surgery) out for the next 6-8 weeks.

Advice: Felton started the second half of Monday's game and looked great with 15 points on 7-of-7 shooting with six assists, three rebounds, one block, one steal and two turnovers in 27 minutes, and he averaged 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.7 triples in six previous starts this season. He's likely going to take over the starting role in Los Angeles and looks like a strong pickup in standard leagues. Austin Rivers also looks like a great pickup. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 4:30 pm
  • Gallinari (ankle) probable for Wednesday
Danilo Gallinari (left ankle soreness) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers.

Advice: Gallinari has been battling a nagging ankle injury for over a week now, but it has not limited his playing time. In fact, Gallo played a game-high 40 minutes in Monday's win over the Magic. Don't hesitate to insert Gallinari in your starting lineup as usual. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 11:04 am
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play Tuesday
Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play Tuesday vs. the Lakers.

Advice: This will be the third consecutive game Arthur has missed due to his latest knee pain. Kenneth Faried started and played a season-high 33 minutes on Monday. The Manimal will likely see extra minutes on Tuesday as well due to Arthur's absence. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:54 am
  • HOU's backup center will be based on matchups
Clint Capela (knee) will start for Houston going forward, but his backup will likely be based on matchups most nights, according to coach Mike D'Antoni.

Advice: "Maybe the first guy off the bench will be a matchup consideration. Or if bulky centers give Clint a problem, I'll substitute early and get Nene in there. Or if we need energy today, maybe here comes Montrezl," said coach D'Antoni. Harrell averaged 14.6 points (on 68.3 percent shooting) and 4.9 rebounds in 27.4 minutes over the 14 games Capela missed due to his knee injury, but will obviously see a big hit to his playing time and production serving solely as a reserve. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:25 am
  • Nikola Mirotic (illness) will play Tuesday
Nikola Mirotic (illness) will play Tuesday vs. the Mavs.

Advice: Mirotic, who has missed four straight games due to strep throat, has been a disappointment this season, averaging career-lows in points (9.5), assists (0.8), field goal percentage (.387), 3-point percentage (.312) and free-throw percentage (.758). Hopefully, he can bounce back in the second half of the season to salvage his 2016-17 campaign. Mirotic's return will cut into Doug McDermott's minutes and likely knock Bobby Portis out of the rotation. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:11 am
  • Jokic leads offensive revival in Denver
The Nuggets have been one of the NBA's most efficient and effective offenses since sticking with Nikola Jokic as the team's starting center.

Advice: Over the last month, the Nuggets are top-10 in the league in field goals made, field goal accuracy, 3-point accuracy, 3-point field goals made. Jokic has been the centerpiece of the offense, and the engine driving them forward. Over his last 14 games, Jokic is averaging 19.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists. He's been top-15 overall fantasy producer over this stretch. The sky is the limit for this kid over the second half of the season Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:31 am
  • Darrell Arthur (knee): Tuesday status unknown
The availability of Darrell Arthur (knee) for Tuesday’s game at the L.A. Lakers is unknown.

Advice: Arthur missed his second consecutive game due to left knee soreness on Monday. He has missed a total of 10 games this season as a result of knee issues. "He only knows one speed," coach Mike Malone said. "When we (practice) hard he goes hardest. And his knee has a hard time withstanding that pounding. So I almost have to try to protect him from himself at times." Kenneth Faried played a season-high 33 minutes on Monday and would get a boost on Tuesday if Arthur is out. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:09 am
  • Jameer Nelson enjoys victory over the Magic
Jameer Nelson said he had "extra incentive" playing against his former team, the Orlando Magic, on Monday night.

Advice: Nelson left Orlando in 2014 but clearly isn't happy with the way the relationship ended. ""It just felt like certain people counted me out, but one thing I’m never going to do is count myself out," said Nelson. He finished with 18 points, four boards and four assists in 32 minutes on Monday. With Gary Harris (ankle) expected to miss Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers, Nelson could be in line for extra playing time on Tuesday as well Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:36 am
  • Marreese Speights scores 23 w/ 10 boards
Marreese Speights scored a season-high 23 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 27 minutes in Monday's 120-98 win over the Thunder.

Advice: He scored 10 of his points in garbage time during the fourth quarter, but Speights was on fire all night, hitting 8-of-15 shots from the field and 4-of-4 from the line. Speights is a per-minute monster, but the problem is that he's only eclipsed the 20-minute mark one time in January (tonight). With Blake Griffin (knee) nearing a return, it's tough to get excited about this. We'll let you know if his role grows. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:24 pm
  • Austin Rivers scores 16 w/ six assists
Austin Rivers scored 16 points on 5-of-13 shooting in Monday's win over the Thunder.

Advice: He played impressive defense on Russell Westbrook and is thriving with the first unit. Rivers logged 35 minutes and added six assists, two rebounds, one steal and two triples, and he could have the ball in his hands a lot more if Chris Paul (sprained thumb) misses any time. Rivers' usage rate rises from 14.9 to 21.8 when Paul is off the court, so he looks like a solid pickup in addition to Raymond Felton. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:18 pm
  • Raymond Felton scores 15 on 7-of-7 shooting
Raymond Felton scored 15 points on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting in Monday's 120-98 win over the Thunder on Monday.

Advice: Chris Paul left the game with a sprained left thumb and did not return, so Felton started the second half and added six assists, three rebounds, one block, one steal and two turnovers in 27 minutes. X-rays were negative on Paul's thumb, but he is scheduled to have an MRI on Tuesday at which point we will know if he needs to miss additional time. Felton looks like a nice speculative pickup with averages of 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.7 triples in six previous starts this season. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:13 pm
  • Alec Burks fizzles in nine minutes
Alec Burks played just nine minutes and missed all four of his shots, failing to score a point in Monday's 106-101 win over the Suns.

Advice: Joe Ingles started for Rodney Hood (knee) and played well, and Joe Johnson was Joe Cool off the bench with 15 points and three 3-pointers, so Burks looks like the big loser in the Hood-injury sweepstakes. If you picked up Burks in hopes of a decent week, we'd recommend throwing him back and taking a flier on Ingles or Johnson, instead. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:16 pm
  • George Hill tweaks ankle in win over Suns
George Hill 7-of-18 shots and 1-of-8 3-pointers for 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes of Monday's win over the Suns.

Advice: He left late in the game with a sprained ankle, but it doesn't appear to be serious and he wasn't noticeably limping after the game. Injuries have been a huge problem for Hill this season, so check to make sure he's good to go against the Mavericks on Friday against the Mavericks. The good news is that he has a full three days to recover before Friday's game. If he's out, Shelvin Mack would benefit the most. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:07 pm
  • Jameer Nelson scores 18 points in 32 minutes
Jameer Nelson had 18 points, four rebounds, four assists, two 3-pointers, one steal and one turnover in 32 minutes on Monday.

Advice: Gary Harris sprained his ankle just three minutes into the game, which opened up extra playing time for Nelson, who has now scored in double-figures in three straight games. Harris is doubtful for Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers, so Nelson could be in line for an uptick in playing time. Rotoworld.com Monday, 5:32 pm
  • Jamal Murray plays just 5 minutes on Monday
Jamal Murray played only five minutes in Denver's win over Orlando and failed to make any impact on the stat sheet.

Advice: It was an old-fashioned five trillion for Murray, as he didn't tally a single point, rebound, assist, steal or block. It is surprising that Murray only played five minutes (and zero in the second half) considering that Denver starting shooting guard Gary Harris sprained his ankle just three minutes into the game. Murray has played in all 39 games this season, but Monday was the first time he played fewer than 11 minutes. With Harris doubtful for Tuesday, it would seem Murray would be poised for an uptick in minutes, but after Monday's disappointment, he can't be trusted. Rotoworld.com Monday, 5:20 pm
  • Nikola Jokic pours in career-high 30 points
Nikola Jokic was unstoppable in the Nuggets blowout victory over Orlando Monday night, scoring a career-high 30 points to go along with 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals and a 3-pointer.

Advice: Jokic joins Carmelo Anthony as just the second Nugget to tally at least 30 points, 10 boards, five assists and three steals in a single game over the last 25 years. However, this performance isn't a complete surprise because, despite playing through a nagging wrist injury that may require offseason surgery, Jokic has been an absolute beast of late. He is now averaging 21.6 points, 9.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists over the Nuggets last seven games. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:32 pm
  • Jameer Nelson starts the 2nd half sans Harris
Jameer Nelson started the second half of Monday's game against the Magic.

Advice: Gary Harris suffered a right ankle injury just three minutes into the game and will not return, which prompted Nelson's move into the starting five. He has started in the past when Harris has hit the sidelines, so he could see a decent boost in value if Harris is forced into an extended absence, as should Jamal Murray and Will Barton. We'll let you know how Nelson does after the game. Rotoworld.com Monday, 3:27 pm
  • Danilo Gallinari (ankle) will start on Monday
Danilo Gallinari (left ankle soreness) will start Monday vs. the Magic.

Advice: He's been playing through the sore ankle over the past few games, and his production has been fine, so owners shouldn't hesitate to get him active for a matchup against the third-worst team in the league at defending the small forward position. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:36 pm
  • Dejounte Murray (ankle) out Tuesday vs. MIN
Dejounte Murray (sprained right ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: He's a negligible part of the rotation on most nights, so his absence from Tuesday's game will have zero consequence in fantasy hoops. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:09 pm
  • Patty Mills (calf) plans to play Tuesday
Patty Mills (left calf tightness) said that he will play vs. the Wolves on Tuesday.

Advice: He said he's been experiencing tightness in his calf for a while, so that might explain his recent dip in production. Assuming he's good to go for Tuesday, Mills should see his normal workload of minutes in the 20s. Give him a look if you need to stream a couple 3-pointers. Rotoworld.com Monday, 11:02 am
  • Anthony Tolliver plays 31 minutes vs. OKC
Anthony Tolliver scored 10 points with four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Thunder on Sunday.

Advice: Tolliver started in his fourth consecutive game tonight and has played over 30 minutes in each of his starts. During that stretch, he is averaging 33.3 minutes, 12.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 2.3 treys per game. Coach Dave Joerger likes to mix it up with his starting five, so at any moment Tolliver could head back to his bench role. However, until that happens, he is worth considering in deeper leagues for fantasy owners in need of 3-pointers and steals. Rotoworld.com Jan 15, 9:27 pm
  • Robin Lopez logs 37 minutes vs. Grizzlies
Robin Lopez had another strong game on Sunday with 12 points, seven boards, two assists and three blocks in 37 minutes.

Advice: Lopez helped his team earn a tough 108-104 win in Memphis. The Bulls scored a season-low 14 points in the first quarter tonight, but they recovered with a season-high 38 points in the second quarter. The Jekyll and Hyde performance didn't continue in the second half, during which they scored 56 points, and the Bulls' win leaves them just ahead of Charlotte for the No. 8 seed. Rotoworld.com Jan 15, 9:05 pm
  • Montrezl Harrell gets 16 & 7 in start Sunday
Montrezl Harrell logged 34 minutes as a starter on Sunday, making 6-of-9 FGs and 4-of-6 FTs to finish with 16 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks.

Advice: The bad news is that Clint Capela is nearing a return from his fractured fibula, and could play as soon as Tuesday's road game in Miami. Harrell has carved out a reliable spot in the rotation, but he's averaging just 16.2 minutes off the bench, as opposed to 26.6 minutes as a starter. The clock is ticking, though he's worth owning until we see how the rotation shakes out with Capela active. Rotoworld.com Jan 15, 6:05 pm
  • Nikola Mirotic could return on Tuesday
Coach Fred Hoiberg is "hopeful" that Nikola Mirotic (illness) will play on Tuesday against Dallas.

Advice: Mirotic has missed four games due to the illness, which appears to be strep throat. Prior to the issue, he averaged 25.8 minutes, 10.8 points, four rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game in the month of January. Rotoworld.com Jan 15, 4:43 pm
  • Nikola Jokic still dealing w/ left wrist pain
Nikola Jokic still doesn't have full range of motion in his left wrist, he continues to play through pain, and it's possible that he will need surgery after the season.

Advice: Jokic shed his wrist brace for Thursday's game and plans to play without it again on Monday, and the good news is that there's no suggestion of more DNPs. "I cannot go to push-up position," Jokic said. "[Doctors] said they could [perform surgery], but it wasn’t 100 percent that it would feel better." This isn't a comforting update for Jokic's owners, but he's been on fire lately and all signs point to him playing through his discomfort for the rest of the season. Rotoworld.com Jan 15, 3:17 pm
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) out Monday vs. Magic
Darrell Arthur (knee) will not suit up for Monday's game against the Magic.

Advice: It's always something with this guy, and Monday will mark his second straight game on the sidelines. Kenneth Faried and Jusuf Nurkic will likely split his limited minutes, which doesn't mean all that much. Rotoworld.com Jan 15, 11:48 am
  • Alec Burks will be in the rotation
Alec Burks said he's close to 100 percent after his eight-point game in 15 minutes on Saturday.

Advice: He said he's been waiting for this for "like a year" and he said he knew he was ready to play. Burks acknowledged he had a serious injury and he's still improving. He said he wanted to get to the rim more and he plans on doing that more as he gets more comfortable. With Rodney Hood (knee) possibly missing time, Burks is a speculative add in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 15, 2:17 am
  • Dante Exum a non-factor vs. Orlando
Dante Exum scored two points in seven minutes with one assist in Saturday’s win against the Magic.

Advice: Exum appears to have fallen behind in Utah’s backcourt rotation. Alec Burks is back in the picture and played well tonight, so Exum could continue to struggle for playing time in the foreseeable future. He should not be owned in any format. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 9:18 pm
  • Alec Burks scores eight points in 14 mins
Alec Burks played 14 minutes and scored eight points with six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in Saturday’s 114-107 victory of the Magic.

Advice: Burks was recalled from the D-League on Jan. 12 and could hang around for a while, as Rodney Hood (knee) suffered a hyperextended knee in tonight’s game. He has only appeared in six games for the Jazz this season, but could see a larger role if Hood misses any time. He looked good tonight and can play multiple positions for Utah. That being said, for now, Burks can be left on waivers, but he is someone worth keeping an eye on. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 9:12 pm
  • Ka-Wow: Kawhi Leonard scores career-high 38
Kawhi Leonard exploded for a career-high 38 points during a 108-105 loss to the Suns in Mexico on Saturday, adding four rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: It's almost shocking to see the Spurs lose a game when Kawhi turns in his best offensive game, but he got very little help. Leonard has now scored 30-plus points for three straight games for the first time in his career. Leonard is also three games shy of tying Tim Duncan's franchise record for consecutive games with double-digit scoring. Leonard has an absolutely absurd 77.9 true shooting percentage in his last three as the hottest scorer in the NBA. Oh and he's a good defender. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 6:42 pm
  • Wade not playing on Sunday in Memphis
Dwyane Wade (rest) will not play against the Grizzlies on Sunday.

Advice: He did not travel after Saturday's game, so it's scheduled rest. On Saturday, he was more aggressive than usual with 22 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes. The Bulls have another back-to-back starting on Friday and another one on Jan. 24-25, so Wade could sit in some of those. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 6:11 pm
  • Rajon Rondo scores six points
Rajon Rondo scored six points off the bench against the Pelicans on Saturday, adding two rebounds, five assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 19 minutes.

Advice: He picked up 100 percent of the backup point guard minutes, but he did only play two minutes in the fourth quarter. Rondo is clearly behind Michael Carter-Williams for now, so the needle hasn't moved on his enough to add him in standard leagues. If you're desperate for a point guard in a deep league, feel free to give him a look to see if anything changes. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 5:50 pm
  • Robin Lopez scores six points with 10 boards
Robin Lopez played 27 minutes with six points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks against the Pelicans on Saturday.

Advice: The Bulls absolutely dominated on the glass. Lopez had nine of the 21 offensive boards and the Bulls had a 21-board advantage overall. We've seen Ro-Lo lose some late minutes to Cris Felicio and that happened again, but this was a very encouraging game. He gets another great matchup for minutes against the Grizzles on Sunday. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 5:38 pm
  • Alec Burks will be in the rotation
Alec Burks will be in the rotation with Joe Johnson (rest) out on Saturday against the Magic.

Advice: We saw Burks get five minutes on Friday night, but he didn't play well on the offensive side. The Jazz loved him at times last year with some point guard minutes, but he's in a tight spot for minutes. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 4:49 pm
  • Austin Rivers scores 15 points in start
Austin Rivers scored 15 points with one rebound, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer against the Lakers on Saturday.

Advice: He likely has the starting job locked up with his dad trusting him against small forwards of all sizes until Blake Griffin (knee) comes back. Rivers has been very effective in his last four, averaging 19.0 points, 3.8 boards, 4.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.0 treys. He'll be taking a big hit once BG comes back and only has three games for the upcoming week, so Rivers' value isn't the greatest going forward. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 3:26 pm
  • Raymond Felton scores 15 points vs. Lakers
Raymond Felton scored 15 points with two rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes against the Lakers on Saturday.

Advice: This wasn't really a garbage-time special for Felton in a very impressive game. He also played next to Chris Paul for eight minutes today, which is close to double his average in the 20 previous games they were paired together. Felton has been hanging around top-150 value in his last 10, but that's still close to his ceiling while CP3 is healthy. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 3:19 pm
  • Nikola Mirotic ruled out for Sunday night
Nikola Mirotic (illness) will not play against the Grizzlies on Sunday.

Advice: He has a really, really bad case of something with now four games out of the lineup. Mirotic being out should open up minutes for Doug McDermott as the second-unit shooter, but McDermott has been awful lately. If things change on Saturday, maybe Bobby Portis gets a look. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 12:31 pm
  • Rajon Rondo remains in the rotation vs. NO
Rajon Rondo will remain in the rotation on Saturday against the Pelicans.

Advice: That means Jerian Grant is likely out of the rotation now that Jimmy Butler is back from illness. Rondo is still not worth owning, especially with the Bulls going with more no-PG lineups. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 12:27 pm
  • Dwyane Wade to play Saturday, rest Sunday
Dwyane Wade will play on Saturday against the Pelicans and will rest on Sunday against the Grizzlies.

Advice: It's a back-to-back set for Wade, but he should get heavy minutes tonight now that there is a plan in place. He's an interesting option with Jimmy Butler possibly not at 100 percent. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 12:22 pm
  • Patty Mills (left calf) will not play vs. PHX
Patty Mills (left calf tightness) will not play against the Suns on Saturday.

Advice: Mills doesn't have any noteworthy calf issues in his career, so this is something new. The Spurs can rest him today to give him four full days off before their game on Tuesday against the Wolves. With Dejounte Murray also out, the Spurs will have to be creative with their backup point guard. It would likely be Manu Ginobili while Tony Parker could get a few extra minutes in a great matchup tonight. Rotoworld.com Jan 14, 12:06 pm
  • George Hill scores 22 w/ five 3-pointers
George Hill scored 22 points with five 3-pointers in Friday's blowout win over the Pistons.

Advice: He shot a blistering 8-of-13 from the field with four rebounds, one assist and one turnover, but only played 27 minutes due to the lopsided score. Hill is averaging 17.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.8 triples over his last four games since returning from a concussion, but all he has to do now is stay on the court. He's been a top-30 player in standard leagues when you don't factor in the games he's missed. Rotoworld.com Jan 13, 11:09 pm
  • Dejounte Murray (ankle) won't play Saturday
Dejounte Murray (sprained right ankle) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Suns.

Advice: Murray has been playing a bit more recently, averaging 7.1 minutes per game over the Spurs last five games. Still, he has scored more than two points only once this month. Thus, no significant fantasy impact with news he won't play Saturday. Rotoworld.com Jan 13, 2:49 pm
  • Nikola Mirotic (illness) out for Saturday
Nikola Mirotic (illness) will not play against the Pelicans on Saturday.

Advice: This will be his third game out of the lineup with his very bad illness. With him out, it was Paul Zipser getting the start while Bobby Portis also saw some late minutes in a close game. Doug McDermott could also benefit, but he's been in a brutal slump. Mirotic is still a stash. Rotoworld.com Jan 13, 2:29 pm
  • Kawhi Leonard scores 31 points on 13 FGAs
Kawhi Leonard was on fire early in a 134-94 win over the Lakers on Thursday, making 10-of-13 from the field for 31 points with two rebounds, two assists, two steals, three 3-pointers and no turnovers in just 26 minutes.

Advice: His 24 points in the first half was a career high and he also made 8-of-9 from the line for some magnificent efficiency. Leonard became the only player to score at least 30 points in fewer than 29 minutes in multiple games this season -- he scored 30 in 27 minutes on Dec. 10. His offense may have caught up to his defense. Rotoworld.com Jan 12, 9:04 pm
  • Rajon Rondo plays 23 minutes in loss
Rajon Rondo played 23 minutes and hit just 2-of-9 shots for four points and eight assists in Thursday's loss to the Knicks.

Advice: The Bulls were awful in the third quarter and Fred Hoiberg went with his bench for most of the fourth. Rondo played seven more minutes than starter Michael Carter-Williams tonight, but it probably doesn't mean too much, as they were both outplayed by Jerian Grant. Rondo's poor shooting from both the field and the free throw line, along with his seven points per game, make him a shaky fantasy investment, unless you're desperate at point guard. Rotoworld.com Jan 12, 8:04 pm
  • Dwyane Wade scores 22 in return to action
Dwyane Wade returned from a rest and played 33 minutes on Thursday, hitting 9-of-20 shots for 22 points, three rebounds and three assists in an ugly loss to the Knicks.

Advice: The Bulls hit just 5-of-21 shots in the third quarter and Wade hit most of those, causing Fred Hoiberg to go with his bench for much of the second half. Wade was the only regular to play his normal allotment of minutes tonight and has scored at least 20 points in three straight games. The Bulls have a back-to-back set on Saturday and Sunday, so it will be interesting to see if Wade plays in both of them. Rotoworld.com Jan 12, 7:43 pm
  • Dwyane Wade will start on Thursday
Dwyane Wade will start against the Knicks on Thursday.

Advice: He is not expected to be limited and he may be very busy with Jimmy Butler (illness) out tonight. Wade is a DFS option tonight, especially with how awful the Knicks have been on defense lately. Rotoworld.com Jan 12, 3:48 pm
  • Jusuf Nurkic plays just eight minutes
Jusuf Nurkic scored three points with two rebounds and one block in eight minutes against the Pacers on Thursday.

Advice: He played two-plus minutes in the first quarter and just under five-plus minutes in the second quarter. Kenneth Faried had it going as the five man and Nikola Jokic was terrific, so there wasn't an opportunity for Nurkic today. He's going to be inconsistent and is more of a stash with an uncertain role on the Nuggets. Rotoworld.com Jan 12, 2:28 pm
  • Monta Ellis scores 12 points off bench
Monta Ellis scored 12 points with two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 27 minutes against the Nuggets on Thursday.

Advice: He's still wearing his mask and it doesn't seem to be affecting his confidence. Ellis saw a lot of run in garbage time today, which is a great sign of his minutes limit going away. Techincally, he doesn't have a limit, but Ellis played just 19.5 minutes per game over his previous four. He's had a bad season, so he's got some work to do to have value in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 12, 2:22 pm
  • Darrell Arthur will not play on Thursday
Darrell Arthur (leg) will not play against the Pacers on Thursday.

Advice: The Nuggets are somewhat healthy besides Arthur, so he wasn't a lock to be in the rotation anyway. Kenneth Faried could see some minutes at power forward tonight. Rotoworld.com Jan 12, 11:30 am
  • Rajon Rondo will be the sixth man on Thursday
Rajon Rondo will be the sixth man off the bench on Thursday vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Rondo was in the doghouse with five straight DNP-CDs, but he returned to the rotation on Tuesday vs. the Wizards and hit 6-of-13 shots for 12 points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals in 27 minutes. With Jimmy Butler (illness) out again, Rondo is looking at another decent workload. If you want to take a chance on him, now would be the time to pick him back up with three more games on the schedule this week. He will need another strong game in order to keep his spot in the rotation with Butler expected back on Saturday, but coach Fred Hoiberg did say that he wants Rondo to be the leader of the second unit moving forward. Rotoworld.com Jan 12, 9:09 am
  • Alec Burks says he's making progress
Alec Burks said he feels like he is "back to where I was before I got hurt" after playing extended minutes in the D-Leauge on Wednesday.

Advice: "Yeah. I’m fast," Burks said. "That’s what I guess [the Jazz] wanted to see. When I found out my leg was good and steady and stable, I knew I was going to be back, as aggressive as I was." Burks scored 17 points, but only shot 5-of-17 from the floor and is still shaking off some rust. He's not expected to spend more time in the D-League, but it's going to be hard for him to find minutes on the Jazz as they have one of the deepest rosters in the West. He needs a trade in order to have value. Rotoworld.com Jan 12, 6:13 am
  • Raymond Felton hits 4-of-6 shots in 16 mins
Raymond Felton came off the bench vs. Orlando on Wednesday, making 4-of-6 shots to finish with eight points and three boards in 17 minutes.

Advice: Felton started L.A.'s last game, but he returned to the second unit with Austin Rivers healthy tonight. Felton can be ignored in most leagues, but he's an interesting streaming play when injuries strike L.A.'s backcourt. Rotoworld.com Jan 11, 11:31 pm
  • Austin Rivers returns in 33 mins Wednesday
Austin Rivers (illness) returned to action on Wednesday with nine points, five assists, four rebounds and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes of action.

Advice: Rivers moved back into the starting five alongside Chris Paul, J.J. Redick, Luc Mbah a Moute and DeAndre Jordan, as the Clippers continue to go small in the absence of Blake Griffin (knee). He's worth a glance if you need points, 3-pointers and a dash of assists, but he's not a well-rounded roto option. Rotoworld.com Jan 11, 11:30 pm
  • Marreese Speights scores 13 efficient points
Marreese Speights scored 13 efficient points off the bench on Wednesday, hitting 5-of-6 shots with three 3-pointers, three rebounds and one assist in a home win vs. the Magic.

Advice: Speights has made at least one three-pointer in 14 straight games, the longest streak of his career. He's managed to carve out late-round value in Blake Griffin's absence despite playing just 16.9 minutes over the past month. During that time he's established a nice rapport with Chris Paul -- coming into this game, Speights had a 72.7 effective FG percentage off passes from CP3. That said, he's an atypical fantasy big man whose primary virtues have been 3-pointers and FT%. Rotoworld.com Jan 11, 11:25 pm
  • Montrezl Harrell starts, logs 20 minutes
Montrezl Harrell earned another start vs. the Wolves on Wednesday, chipping in nine points (2-of-4 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), five boards, two assists and one steal in 20 minutes.

Advice: Since Clint Capela's first DNP on Dec. 20, Harrell has averaged 14.8 points on 69.5 percent shooting, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 blocks and 0.4 steals. The limited minutes tonight were due to foul trouble and he's worth deploying for now, despite the constant threat from Nene (nine points in 15 minutes). Just keep in mind that Capela is progressing well and could return in late January. Rotoworld.com Jan 11, 9:01 pm
