  • Ish, Avery, Bullock, Tobias & Drummond start
Ish Smith, Avery Bradley, Reggie Bullock, Tobias Harris and Andre Drummond will start against the Wizards on Friday.

Advice: So Bradley will be out there after his trip to see a doctor on Thursday. His owners can throw him in their lineups and hope he can capitalize on the Wizards struggling lately. Rotoworld.com 50 minutes ago
  • Garrett Temple back in the starting lineup
The Kings will start De'Aaron Fox, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Garrett Temple, Zach Randolph and Willie Cauley-Stein on Friday vs. the Grizzlies.

Advice: This means out of George Hill, Kosta Koufos and Vince Carter, two of them will be rested. Temple's outlook is pretty poor with the Kings expected to sit him a ton. Rotoworld.com 54 minutes ago
  • Wall, Beal, Otto, Morris & Gortat starting
The Wizards will stick with their usual starting lineup on Friday.

Advice: Coach Scott Brooks suggested changes were coming to the lineup, but apparently he'll wait at least one more game to make a big change. Markieff Morris hasn't exactly played well lately, so he could use a strong game today. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:38 pm
  • Avery Bradley is active for Friday night
Avery Bradley (groin) is active for Friday night against the Wizards.

Advice: He saw a specialist on Thursday and it sounds like he'll be ready to go. To be clear, this doesn't necessarily mean he'll be a full go. Bradley has not looked right for most of this season and there's a chance he's playing through this injury. He's still a hold in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:22 pm
  • Draymond Green not on injury report
Draymond Green is not on the injury report for Saturday against the Rockets.

Advice: He should be back after missing Wednesday. Green's injury was classified as soreness, so it was likely more of a maintenance day. He will probably get a full workload as the Warriors look to set their franchise record for consecutive road wins as they go for their 15th. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:08 pm

  • Kemba would be 'pretty upset' if dealt
Kemba Walker said he'd be "pretty upset" if he was traded from the Hornets.

Advice: He's also in the process of building a new house, and that he put his heart and soul into the team and the city. Walker added that he values he got his opportunity in Charlotte and that he does a lot of work in the community. He said staying with one franchise would be a "special thing" and that he'd love to be one of those guys. Additionally, coach Steve Clifford said he thinks it would be hard to trade Kemba, and that nobody has said anything around the team. Nicolas Batum said he couldn't imagine the Hornets trading him. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:58 pm
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) out Saturday
Giannis Antetokounmpo (right knee soreness) is listed as out in the game notes for Saturday's matchup vs. the Sixers.

Advice: This is just a game-notes designation, so we'll have to wait to hear from coach Jason Kidd or Antetokounmpo himself for confirmation and an explanation. Hopefully, Milwaukee is merely limiting Antetokounmpo's workload and making sure he has enough rest, as they have done earlier this season. However, the Bucks don't play on Friday or Sunday, so this is not the part of a back-to-back. We'll wait for an update before jumping to conclusions. Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe will see their usage rates spike with Giannis on the sidelines. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:03 am
  • Iman Shumpert (knee surgery, foot) out Sat
Iman Shumpert (knee surgery, foot) has been ruled out Saturday's game vs. OKC.

Advice: Shump has been making solid progress in his rehab and is inching closer to a return. However, he'll have a tough time finding consistent minutes even when fully healthy. He should be left on waivers in basically all fantasy formats. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:57 am
    Injured

  • Mason Plumlee unlikely to start Friday night
Coach Mike Malone told reporters that Mason Plumlee will likely not start Friday vs. Phoenix.

Advice: Malone said he would start "start mixing and matching starting power forwards for the foreseeable future." The goal is to get Nikola Jokic more time at center. Plumlee has been consistent but offers a limited upside in fantasy. Now that he won't be starting, his value takes an additional hit. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:44 am
  • Jon Leuer to have season-ending ankle surgery
Jon Leuer (ankle) will have season-ending surgery on Friday.

Advice: 2017-18 has been a lost season for Leuer. He played in only eight games, with his final appearance coming back on Halloween. Hopefully, this surgery to correct ankle issues he's been dealing with for years will put him on track to return fully healthy for training camp next September. He should obviously be left on waivers in all fantasy formats. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:03 am
  • Woj: The Pels aren't trading Anthony Davis
The Pelicans have "no intention of trading Anthony Davis," according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Advice: There have been some rumblings this season that the Celtics might try to pry Davis from New Orleans; however, Woj shot down that idea. "Boston's uniquely positioned in that they have draft picks and young players and all the things — if a team was gonna trade Anthony Davis — all the things you'd want,'" said Woj. "But [the Pelicans] aren't trading Anthony Davis... He wants to make it work in New Orleans." Rotoworld.com Today, 6:43 am
  • Chandler Parsons (knee) ruled out Friday
Chandler Parsons (right knee soreness) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. the Kings.

Advice: Parsons hasn't played since the end of December, and the Grizzlies continue to rule him out a day ahead of each game. He fantasy value has evaporated, and he belongs on the waiver wire in all standard fantasy formats. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:30 am
  • Damian Lillard posts 26 points and 8 dimes
Damian Lillard scored a game-high 26 points during a 100-86 win over the Pacers on Thursday, adding five rebounds, eight assists, one block and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Advice: It's safe to say he's back as he's driving more and getting to the line more frequently, too. Since his return on Jan. 10, Lillard averaged 26.0 points, 4.6 boards, 7.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.2 treys on 47.8 percent from the field and 88.6 percent from the line -- 7.0 attempts per game from the charity stripe, too. His fantasy owners can probably expect him to flirt with top-10 value the rest of the way, especially with the Blazers in the thick of the playoff race. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:53 pm
  • C.J. McCollum has nausea issue, returns
C.J. McCollum scored 16 points with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes against the Pacers on Thursday.

Advice: He did go to the locker room for about five minutes in the second half, but McCollum did return to the game in the fourth. The team said he went to the locker room for nausea, so maybe he had a stomach issue. The Blazers get Friday off before they take on the Mavs on Saturday, so McCollum should be fine for that one. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:43 pm

  • Victor Oladipo has a solid night in loss
Victor Oladipo scored 23 points with seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in a 100-86 loss to the Blazers on Thursday.

Advice: He hasn't quite been the electric offensive player we saw in December, but Oladipo is still crushing this month. In his previous game since injury, he's averaged 21.3 points, 5.0 boards, 4.3 assists, 3.0 steals and 2.0 treys. He should have a big night at Staples Center against the Lakers without Lonzo Ball and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. We're expecting him to flirt with first-round value the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:33 pm
  • Lance Stephenson fights through illness
Lance Stephenson (illness) did not score with two rebounds and one assist in 10 minutes against the Blazers on Thursday.

Advice: He went to the locker room and did return for four minutes after that. With the Pacers playing again on Friday, consider Stephenson questionable to play against the Lakers due to the illness that made him a game-time call today. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:16 pm
  • Garrett Temple gets DNP-CD on Wednesday
Garrett Temple was a DNP-CD on Wednesday.

Advice: Dave Joerger said he'll be resting at least two veterans each game, and tonight it was Temple and Vince Carter. Temple didn't have fantasy value anyway, so this shouldn't impact any lineups. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:29 pm
  • Avery Bradley (groin) will see specialist
Avery Bradley said after Wednesday's game that he's going back to Philadelphia to see a specialist for treatment on his nagging groin injury.

Advice: Bradley finished the game with 19 points on 8-of-19 shooting, three 3-pointers, three boards, two assists and two steals in 35 minutes. Shooting percentages continue to weigh down his value, at 41.4% field goals and 77.9% free throws, but he's contributing enough points (15.7), threes (2.0) and steals (1.2) to be worth holding most contexts. The real key is his health, of course, and owners should check for updates over the next few days -- Detroit plays on Friday, so we'll consider him questionable for that one. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:36 pm
  • Anthony Davis held to eight points vs. ATL
Anthony Davis cooled off on Wednesday with eight points (2-of-8 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 38 minutes.

Advice: AD recently joined Charles Barkley as the only players with at least 45 points and 15 rebounds in consecutive games, but he couldn't keep it going vs. Atlanta tonight. This was the fewest points he's scored in a game (at least 20 minutes) since Jan. 2015, and fatigue may have been a factor -- this was the second of back-to-back games. Alvin Gentry has said he'd like to rein in AD's minutes, but we'll believe it when we see it. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:03 pm
  • Plumlee starting at the four
Mason Plumlee will start against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: Will Barton is sliding over to the point with Jamal Murray not playing tonight. Plumlee has lost a lot of his momentum and getting the start tonight doesn't really change his outlook once Murray can return. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:19 pm
  • Markieff Morris quiet in 15 minutes Wednesday
Markieff Morris (ankle) had two points, five rebounds and one assist in 15 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: Morris didn't practice on Tuesday and reportedly had both of his ankles iced after Monday's game, but it sounds like the typical bumps and bruises of an NBA season. He committed four fouls during his limited time on the court, but the Wizards also rested starters at the end of a blowout tonight. Expect better vs. Detroit on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 6:51 pm
  • Avery Bradley in the starting lineup
Avery Bradley (groin) is in the starting lineup against the Raptors on Wednesday.

Advice: He'll have his hands full and is likely looking at DeMar DeRozan. Bradley was starting to heat up before he missed practice on Tuesday, so it makes sense to start him in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:12 pm
  • SVG thinks Bradley and Kennard will play Weds
Stan Van Gundy said he thinks Avery Bradley (groin) and Luke Kennard (thumb) will be able to play Wednesday vs. the Raptors.

Advice: Both players participated at shootaround, and it sounds like they'll be fighting through the pain tonight. We should get a firm update just prior to tip-off, but season-long owners can plan on having these guys active. Anthony Tolliver is no longer a very attractive streamer in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:21 pm
  • Markieff Morris (ankle) will start Wednesday
Markieff Morris (ankle) will start Wednesday vs. Charlotte.

Advice: Morris did not practice on Tuesday after rolling his ankle in Monday's loss to Milwaukee, but the ankle issue won't be anything that forces him to miss any game-time action. Joining Morris in the starting five will be John Wall, Bradley Beal, Otto Porter and Marcin Gortat. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:11 pm
  • Mason Plumlee (core) is available
Mason Plumlee (core) is available to play against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: The team is calling it a lateral trunk strain and it would appear he'll be out there in a back-to-back set. Plumlee did not play next to Nikola Jokic on Tuesday, and that will probably continue tonight. He's not a great fantasy asset these days. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:05 pm
  • Mason Plumlee (core strain) probable vs. LAC
Mason Plumlee (core strain) is probable to play Wednesday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Plumlee will likely be dealing with this core strain for the remainder of the season, but it shouldn't cost him any game-time action. He's not worth owning anywhere. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:46 am
  • Avery Bradley, Kennard will try to play Weds
Avery Bradley (groin) and Luke Kennard (thumb) will try to play Wednesday vs. the Raptors.

Advice: Bradley and Kennard sat out Tuesday's practice, and it's concerning that this groin issue is flaring up again for Bradley after he missed seven games with the same issue in December. Both these guys appear to be headed for a game-time decision, and if they're out, Anthony Tolliver would likely slot back into the starting five and there would be more minutes available for Langston Galloway. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:15 am
  • Iman Shumpert (knee) practices Wednesday
Iman Shumpert (knee surgery, foot) practiced on Wednesday.

Advice: He's inching his way closer to a return, but he won't be much of a factor in the rotation even when he's cleared to play. Leave Shumpert on the wire. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:05 am
    Injured

  • Draymond Green, Iguodala won't play Wednesday
Draymond Green (right shoulder soreness) and Andre Iguodala (calf) will not suit up for Wednesday's game in Chicago.

Advice: Green said his shoulder feels fine, so we'd expect him to get back out there for Saturday's game in Houston. With both Green and Iguodala watching from the sidelines on Wednesday, Jordan Bell will draw the start and there will be more minutes available for guys like David West, Omri Casspi and Nick Young. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:10 am

  • C.J. McCollum hits six triples in win
C.J. McCollum hit 9-of-18 shots and 6-of-10 3-pointers for 27 points, three rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks in 36 minutes of Tuesday's win over the Suns.

Advice: The six triples tied his season high, as he did it previously on Nov. 5, and CJM's had it on cruise control all season, scoring in single figures just one time. He's returning solid fourth-round fantasy value this season, but he's on the rise, putting up his best numbers of the season in January. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:53 pm

  • Damian Lillard scores 31 points in win
Damian Lillard hit 11-of-19 shots and four 3-pointers for 31 points, five rebounds, seven assists and a steal in 36 minutes of Tuesday's 118-111 win over the Suns.

Advice: Devin Booker stole the headlines with his 43-point performance, but despite the final score, the Blazers were in control of this game throughout, with Lillard and C.J. McCollum (27 points, 3 steals, 2 blocks, 6 3-pointers) leading the charge. Lillard's been back from his calf injury for four games and hasn't missed a beat, going off for 26 points, 7.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 2.3 3-pointers in those four games. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:49 pm
  • Mason Plumlee plays 14 minutes off bench
Mason Plumlee moved to the bench on Tuesday vs. Dallas, playing 14 minutes with five points and three rebounds.

Advice: He played exclusively as the backup center and didn't see any minutes next to Jokic. He was a deep-league asset even as a starter, so he belongs on the wire in most leagues even if this was a temporary move. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:08 pm
  • Anthony Davis posts 45-point monster line
Anthony Davis hit 16-of-34 shots and 13-of-15 free throws for 45 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks in Tuesday's 116-113 overtime win at Boston, the third straight for the Pelicans.

Advice: This wasn't a season-high performance for AD, as he went off for 48 points and 17 rebounds on Sunday against the Knicks. Davis has been crazy good for three straight games, as well as the whole season, and is averaging 43 points, 14 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 2.3 blocks over his last three. Unfortunately, he's also played 45, 50 and 41 minutes in each of those games and big minutes are not what AD's owners need from him. You have to wonder if there's a chance he sits on Wednesday night against the Hawks. The good news is he looks fully healthy and energized, and even rammed home a dunk after the buzzer as an exclamation point tonight. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:17 pm
  • Mason Plumlee will come off the bench
Mason Plumlee will come off the bench on Tuesday vs. Dallas.

Advice: He was considered probable to play with a core strain, but the Nuggets will make a lineup switch to counter Dallas small-ball lineup. There's no word on whether or not this will be more than a temporary move, but this matchup is better suited for guys like Wilson Chandler and Trey Lyles. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 5:55 pm
  • Chandler Parsons (knee) ruled out Wednesday
Chandler Parsons (right knee soreness) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Although the Grizzlies have confirmed that Parsons doesn't have any structural damage to his knee, he hasn't played since the calendar flipped to 2018. Even after he is finally cleared for contact, he will have strict minute limitations and will be held out of back-to-backs. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 3:06 pm
  • Mason Plumlee (core strain) probable Tuesday
Mason Plumlee (core strain) is probable to play Tuesday vs. the Mavericks.

Advice: He's been playing through the core strain issue for over a month, and it's likely going to be something he just has to deal with for the rest of the season. Plumlee is not a viable fantasy option in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 1:08 pm
  • Draymond Green, Iguodala questionable vs. CHI
Draymond Green (right shoulder soreness) and Andre Iguodala (calf) are questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Green was icing his shoulder after Monday's win, and it's become a reoccurring issue this season, so it wouldn't be all that surprising to see him hit the sidelines on Wednesday night with a matchup against the 16-27 Bulls. The same can be said about Iguodala. If both these guys are out, there minutes will be divvied up between Kevin Durant, David West, Omri Casspi and Jordan Bell. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:56 pm
    GTD

  • Avery Bradley (groin) questionable Wednesday
Avery Bradley (groin) did not practice on Tuesday and is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Raptors.

Advice: This is concerning news, as Bradley was sidelined for seven straight games from mid-December through early January due to a right groin strain. Hopefully, this is more of a maintenance day off for Bradley, as opposed to a re-aggravation. We'll have to wait for a clear update from coach Stan Van Gundy before jumping to conclusions. Luke Kennard (thumb) and Stanley Johnson (hip) are also questionable for Wednesday, which means Detroit may be shorthanded at SG and on the wing. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:28 am
  • Markieff Morris (ankle) unable to practice
Markieff Morris (ankle) did not practice on Tuesday after rolling his ankle in Monday's loss to the Bucks.

Advice: Morris reportedly had both of his ankles iced up after Monday's contest. For now, we'll consider him questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Charlotte. If Morris is unable to suit up, Mike Scott and Jason Smith would see an uptick in minutes. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:31 am
  • Vic Oladipo makes one last All-Star plea
Victor Oladipo torched the Jazz for 28 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals, five 3-pointers and just one turnover in Monday's easy 109-94 win over the Jazz.

Advice: All-Star voting ends tonight and it's possible Dipo picked up some more votes with this strong line. He simply has to make the All-Star team this year as one of the East's best players and he's the ninth most valuable fantasy player this season in nine-cat. His owners suffered through a rough four-game stretch in early January when he was hurt, but all is forgiven after one of his best games since returning action six games ago. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:46 pm
  • Draymond Green just misses triple-double
Draymond Green hit 5-of-14 shots and was 0-for-5 from downtown for 11 points, but also had a season-high 16 rebounds, nine assists and two blocks, just missing a triple-double in Monday's win over the Cavaliers.

Advice: This would have been his third triple-double of the season and it feels like they're tougher to come by across the league this season. Green's not a dynamic scorer on a loaded Warriors' team, but that hasn't stopped him from being worth a second-round fantasy pick. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:07 pm
    GTD

  • Markieff Morris held to six points in 24 mins
Markieff Morris was held to just six points on 3-of-6 shooting Monday, to go with six rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and three turnovers in 24 minutes.

Advice: Morris had a couple nice games to bring in the New Year, but he's gone back to garbage-mode over the past four with meager averages of 8.3 points, 4.8 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.3 triples and 1.8 turnovers per game on 54.2% shooting in 28.1 minutes a night. Basically, when Kelly Oubre is playing well, Morris' minutes suffer, and that's likely to remain a trend for the rest of the season. Rotoworld.com Monday, 2:24 pm
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo posts 27-20-6 line in W
Giannis Antetokounmpo powered the Bucks to a 104-95 win over the Wizards on Monday, exploding for 27 points, 20 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and three turnovers in 39 minutes.

Advice: The Greek Freak was an absolute beast on the offensive glass with his 19.4 offensive rebounding rate, creating numerous second-chance opportunities for Milwaukee in the win while rocking a 35.1 usage rate. The boards were a career-high for Antetokounmpo, and this was also the first 20-20 game of his career. Yeah, he's a stud. Rotoworld.com Monday, 2:04 pm
  • Parsons (right knee soreness) out Monday
Chandler Parsons (right knee soreness) will not play on Monday vs. the Lakers.

Advice: He doesn't have any structural damage and recently said that he's day-to-day, but he hasn't been cleared for contact yet. Given his injury history, the Grizzlies aren't going to take any chances. He belongs on the wire in all but the deepest of leagues. Rotoworld.com Monday, 7:50 am
  • Damian Lillard's 21/8/6 not enough vs. Wolves
Damian Lillard had 21 points, eight assists, six rebounds, one steal in a road loss vs. the Wolves on Sunday, making 7-of-14 field goals and 5-of-6 free throws in 35 minutes.

Advice: Lillard joined Klay Thompson as the only players in NBA history to make at least 100 three-pointers in their first six NBA seasons -- he finished 2-of-6 behind the arc tonight. The Blazers were a fantasy wasteland tonight, other than Lillard and Pat Connaughton, but they should fare much better at home vs. the Suns on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:17 pm
  • C.J. McCollum gets 18 points w/ little else
C.J. McCollum scored 18 points with three 3-pointers and one steal on Sunday, but he failed to record any rebounds, assists or blocks in 26 minutes of action.

Advice: Portland lost their third game in a row tonight, leaving them one game above .500 for the season (22-21). They're tied with Denver for the No. 8 seed, with the surging Clippers just 1/2 game back, which should ensure guys like McCollum and Damian Lillard play huge minutes in the coming weeks. He's a prime bounce-back candidate with the Suns visiting Portland on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:15 pm

  • Victor Oladipo posts full line in 21 minutes
Victor Oladipo had 17 points, five rebounds, four steals, two 3-pointers and one assist in an easy win vs. Phoenix on Sunday, making 6-of-11 field goals and 3-of-4 free throws in just 21 minutes.

Advice: The Pacers led by 30 points after three quarters and they were able to rest their key players down the stretch -- no starter played more than 27 minutes. Darren Collison scored 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting, Bojan Bogdanovic and Thaddeus Young were both in double-digits, and the Pacers cruised to a 120-97 road win. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:28 pm
  • Anthony Davis nets season-high 48 points in W
Anthony Davis powered the Pelicans to a 123-118 overtime win over the Knicks on Sunday, erupting for 48 points, 17 boards, two triples, four steals, three blocks and four turnovers in 50 minutes.

Advice: Davis helped the Pelicans overcome a 19-point halftime deficit, hitting numerous circus shots (an example of one in the video below) while rocking a ridiculous 40.9 usage rate through the second half of action. He's now scored at least 40 points in his previous two outings at Madison Square Garden, and this was also the first time we've seen a player go off for 48 points, 17 rebounds and four steals since Michael Jordan did it back in 1990. That's some elite company. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 4:33 pm
  • Antetokounmpo scores 22 points in loss
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 22 points on 6-of-12 shooting in Sunday's loss to the Heat, adding six rebounds, one assist, one steal and two turnovers in 31 minutes.

Advice: The Greek Freak also finished a perfect 10-of-10 from the charity stripe, to give him a 67.1 true shooting percentage on the evening, and he was one of the few Bucks' starters who didn't struggle to get his shot to drop. John Henson finished the loss with four points (2-of-5 FGs), nine rebounds, one steal, one block and three turnovers. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 1:21 pm
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) without a timetable
Jon Leuer (ankle) still doesn't have a timetable to return.

Advice: Leuer said he's had problems with his left ankle since he was a kid, and he added that there’s a bone fragment that’s stuck in his ligament that is causing the majority of the pain. Surgery is on the table, but Leuer is hopeful to return this season. "Hopefully not the whole season, but that’s something that … I would cross that bridge when I get there." Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:01 am
  • Avery Bradley heats up w/ 26 points, six 3s
Avery Bradley's shot finally started falling on Saturday, as he went 10-of-19 from the field for 26 points, with a 6-of-10 mark from downtown.

Advice: Bradley added three rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block in 38 minutes vs. the Bulls tonight. Fantasy owners probably did a double-take when looking at the boxscore tonight, as this is the sixth time all season AB has made more than half of his shots. He's starting to warm up after missing a chunk of time with a groin injury, so hopefully owners' patience will continue to pay off. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:46 pm
  • Off shooting night for Kemba Walker
Kemba Walker hit just 5-of-17 from the floor in Saturday's 101-91 loss against the visiting Thunder, finishing with just 19 points.

Advice: Walker didn't do a lot in the other categories, either, hitting just 2-of-7 from behind the arc while adding just three rebounds, two assists, a steal and five turnovers. There will be better days for the former UConn standout. He'll look to get back on track Sunday in Detroit. He went for 24 points, six rebounds and four assists across 35 minutes on Opening Night in Detroit in the first meeting this season. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:18 pm
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo posts 23 points
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists and a blocked shot over 36 minutes in Friday's loss against the Warriors.

Advice: Antetokounmpo hit 10-of-19 from the field and was 3-of-3 from the free-throw line. If fantasy owners want something to complain about, he was 0-of-3 from behind the 3-point line and he has just one double-double in seven games so far in January. However, even when he has a subpar game he is still pretty good for his fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:38 pm
  • Draymond Green solid across the board
Draymond Green finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and a steal over 37 minutes in Friday's 108-94 win at Milwaukee.

Advice: Green hit 8-of-17 from the field, including 1-of-4 from behind the arc, while hitting 4-of-4 from the free-throw line. He bounced back nicely after an egg-laying in Wednesday's game against the Clippers when he shot just 1-of-9. He has rolled up 10 or more rebounds in five of his six games in the month of January to make his fantasy owners happy. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:17 pm

  • Anthony Davis back with a big game
Anthony Davis (ankle) was not only back in the lineup on Friday against Portland, he erupted for 36 points across 41 minutes on 16-of-23 shooting.

Advice: No rust here, as 'The Brow' was on fire. He grabbed nine rebounds while posting two assists and two blocked shots, and head coach Alvin Gentry was true to his word by not limiting the minutes of the big man. Davis did not have any ill effects from the ankle whice sidelined him for Wednesday's game. Get him back active in all fantasy leagues for Sunday's tilt on New York. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:53 pm
  • Damian Lillard good for 23 points on Friday
Damian Lillard (right calf strain) was in the lineup Friday at New Orleans, and he finished with 23 points across 38 minutes.

Advice: Lillard didn't play with any type of minutes cap, and he hit 9-of-22 from the floor while adding eight assists, three steals and two rebounds. His shot was a bit off, and he was just 2-of-11 from behind the 3-point line, too, but whenever he is in the lineup he is an obvious must-start across the board in all fantasy formats. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:25 pm
  • Fours wild for C.J. McCollum in NOLA
C.J. McCollum finished with 23 points Friday in New Orleans, hitting four 3-pointers while adding four assists and four rebounds.

Advice: McCollum shot 40.0 percent from behind the arc, banging home 4-of-10, and he added a steal and a blocked shot over his 36 minutes. He was one of four Portland starters to tally at least two triples on the evening. McCollum will look to match a season-high streak of six in a row with 20 or more points when his team plays Sunday night in the Twin Cities against the Timberwolves. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:22 pm

  • Lance Stephenson solid off the bench
Lance Stephenson finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds across 30 minutes off the bench in Friday's 97-95 win against Cleveland.

Advice: Stephenson did what he does best -- he gave the team a nice injection of offense and defense off the bench, and he got under the skin of LeBron James at one point, causing the four-time MVP to shove him away. He also added four assists, a steal and a blocked shot to make his fantasy owners smile from ear to ear. He'll look to keep it going on Monday in Phoenix in a very favorable matchup. • Kemba Walker scores 22 in win over Jazz
Kemba Walker led the Hornets to a 99-88 win over the Jazz on Friday with a team-high 22 points on 5-of-14 shots with six assists, two rebounds and four triples.

Advice: Walker has been a popular name in the rumor mill with the Hornets sitting in 11th place in the East with a 16-24 record, and that makes sense because he's an All-Star player that has one of the best contracts in the NBA with $12 million owed to him in 2018-19. "He does everything," assistant coach Stephen Silas said. "He comes up with big steals. He goes for charges. He makes every big pick-and-roll play, every shot, every play for everybody else." The Hornets haven't give up hope for a spot in the playoffs, but if they don't turn their season around quickly they will have a very tough decision to make. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:18 pm
  • Anthony Davis (ankle) available for Friday
Anthony Davis (ankle) is available on Friday vs. Portland.

Advice: His ankle is feeling a lot better and coach Alvin Gentry said he won't have any restrictions, so he'll see his normal allotment of minutes as long as his ankle holds up. Check back after the game for an update. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:13 pm
  • Damian Lillard (calf) available for Friday
Damian Lillard (right calf strain) is available to play on Friday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Barring a setback in warmups, Lillard will start and should see his normal allotment of minutes. He had 29 points, eight assists, five rebounds, two steals and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes in his last game, so make sure he's active in all lineups. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:34 pm
  • Gentry expects Davis (ankle) to play Friday
Alvin Gentry said he expects Anthony Davis (ankle) to play Friday vs. Portland.

Advice: Davis said he was feeling "a lot better" after shootaround, so it looks like he'll be taking the court tonight following a one-game stint on the sidelines. Gentry said that he won't have any sort of minutes limit if he plays, so Davis owners can feel good about rolling him out there for what should be an uptempo game against Portland. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:19 pm
  • Damian Lillard (calf) expects to play Friday
Damian Lillard (right calf strain) said he has "no lingering issues" with his calf and expects to play Friday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Lillard looked terrific in his return to action on Wednesday, finishing with 29 points, eight assists, five rebounds, two steals and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes. And, fortunately, he has now confirmed he didn't suffer any setbacks. Lillard should be locked and loaded in starting lineups this evening. Shabazz Napier can be sent back to the waiver wire. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:03 am
  • Anthony Davis (ankle) remains questionable
Anthony Davis (right ankle) said he is feeling "a lot better" but is uncertain if he will play Friday vs. Portland.

Advice: When asked how he was feeling and if he would be able to play this evening, Davis responded: "I'm feeling a lot better. We'll see when the time comes." Thus, it appears we are headed towards a game-time decision. If Davis is unable to play, Dante Cunningham would likely draw another start, with Cheick Diallo and Omer Asik seeing spot minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:17 am
  • Chandler Parsons (right knee) now day-to-day
Chandler Parsons doesn't have structural damage in his right knee, but he will not play vs. the Nuggets on Friday.

Advice: Parsons spoke to the media and said that he's day-to-day, and that the swelling and soreness in his knee has dissipated. We've yet to hear about him taking contact, though, so his return date is still anyone's guess. With strict restrictions even when he's relatively healthy, there's no incentive to hold Parsons in re-draft leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 2:06 pm
  • Anthony Davis (ankle) questionable for Friday
Anthony Davis (right ankle) is officially questionable for Friday's game vs. the Blazers.

Advice: Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said on Wednesday that there was a "good chance" Davis would be ready to go vs. Portland. We'll assume he's a bit closer to 'probable', therefore, but should know more after Friday's shootaround. If he is ultimately ruled out, expect Dante Cunningham to earn another start with DeMarcus Cousins being even more of a focal point offensively. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 12:43 pm
  • Damian Lillard (calf) probable for Friday
Damian Lillard (right calf strain) is listed as probable for Friday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: There's no indication that Lillard suffered a setback while playing 32 minutes in his return on Wednesday, so this looks like a simple precaution. Shabazz Napier will benefit if Dame is at all limited, but for now we're expecting him to be fine. Check back after Portland's shootaround on Friday for confirmation. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:50 am
  • Draymond Green (knee) logs 29 minutes
Draymond Green (right knee soreness) had seven points, 10 rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes vs. the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: He went 5-of-6 from the FT line tonight, but shot 1-of-9 from the field while missing all six of his 3-point attempts. This is the sixth time all season he's been held without any defensive stats, so that's nothing to worry about. Despite being a constant presence on Golden State's injury report, Dray hasn't missed a game since Dec. 20. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:48 pm

  • Damian Lillard (calf) returns with 29/8/5
Damian Lillard (strained right calf) returned to action on Wednesday with 29 points on 9-of-16 FGs and 10-of-12 FTs, eight assists, five rebounds, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Lillard was on an unspecified minute-limit tonight, as the Blazers seek to avoid any setbacks after their star PG missed seven of the past nine games. He still played 32 minutes, however, and returned the type of all-around, efficient line that owners love. His calf injury didn't appear to limit him at all, so fire him up for games on Friday (at New Orleans) and Sunday (at Minnesota). Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:36 pm
  • Lance Stephenson notches 15/8/4 off bench
Lance Stephenson knocked down 6-of-11 shots to finish Wednesday's home loss with 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes.

Advice: This was the first time in six games that Lance has made at least half of his shots. The counting stats are good enough to own him in deeper points leagues, but he continues to hurt owners in percentages (43.3% FGs, 67.2% FTs) and turnovers (1.7) without contributing enough 3-pointers or defensive stats to compensate. He's a liability in category-based leagues, at least while Victor Oladipo is healthy. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:03 pm
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo drops 26 on Orlando
Giannis Antetokounmpo ended up with 26 points, seven rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot over 34 minutes in Wednesday's victory against the Magic.

Advice: Antetokounmpo met very little resistance in the middle from the Magic, hitting 10-of-15 from rather close range. He struggled a bit from the charity stripe, hitting just 6-of-10, but fantasy owners complaining about that are just being petty. It was another solid night at the office for The Greek Freak, who recently went No. 1 overall in the Rotoworld Fantasy Hoops Staff Midseason Draft. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:03 pm
  • Victor Oladipo scores game-high 26 points
Victor Oladipo scored a game-high 26 points in a losing effort on Wednesday, making 9-of-20 FGs and 8-of-11 FTs with seven boards, four assists and three steals.

Advice: Oladipo continues to establish himself as a cornerstone for the Pacers, and his 24.5 points are on pace to be the third-highest in franchise history. He did commit four turnovers tonight, while going 0-of-6 from downtown in 38 minutes, but those are caveats fantasy owners can happily ignore. He's soaring as a top-20 value in almost any format. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:01 pm
  • Kemba Walker drops 41 points on 16-of-18 FGs
Kemba Walker lit up the Mavs for 41 points on Wednesday, making 16-of-28 field goals and 6-of-6 free throws with three 3-pointers four assists, three rebounds, three steals and one block.

Advice: It was Kemba's highest-scoring game since dropping 47 points vs. the Bulls on Nov. 17, but it was all in vain as the Hornets lost at home to end their two-game win streak. Kemba also limited himself to one turnover tonight, continuing a trend -- he has a total of four turnovers in his past five games, a span of 165 minutes. He'll face a stiff test vs. Ricky Rubio and the Jazz on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:50 pm
  • Anthony Davis out, Cunningham starting
Anthony Davis (ankle) will sit out Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, and Dante Cunningham will start in his place.

Advice: While Cunningham will get the start, he rarely brings meaningful statistics to the box score regardless of his minutes allotment, so he's still not a great target in most leagues. Per nbawowy.com, with Davis off the court, DeMarcus Cousins' usage rate spikes to 38.2, so he'll be a very attractive DFS target today. The Pelicans play again on Friday against Portland, and for now, we'll be considering Davis questionable for that one. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:37 pm
  • Damian Lillard (calf) will play Wednesday
Damian Lillard (right calf strain) will play Wednesday vs. the Rockets, but coach Terry Stotts said that Lillard will "probably" have a minutes limit.

Advice: Lillard missed each of the Blazers last two games but returns with a favorable fantasy matchup against the fast-paced Rockets. However, with a possible minutes limit looming, Lillard is a risky DFS option. Shabazz Napier gets bumped back to the bench, and back to waivers in standard fantasy leagues, with Dame healthy. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:34 pm
  • Draymond Green (knee) available Wednesday
Draymond Green (knee) is available to play Wednesday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: As expected, Green, who was listed as probable, will suit up to take on the Clippers. Because both Stephen Curry (sprained right ankle) and Klay Thompson (rest) have been ruled out, Green and Kevin Durant will be popular DFS plays on Wednesday evening. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 12:56 pm

  • Damian Lillard (calf) questionable Wednesday
Damian Lillard (right calf strain) is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Houston.

Advice: Lillard told reporters that he felt "really good" on Tuesday. The Blazers didn't hold a shootaround Wednesday morning, so we haven't had heard from Lillard or coach Terry Stotts today. We will likely have to wait until Stotts addresses the media pregame to get a reliable update on Dame's status for this evening. If Lillard is unable to play Shabazz Napier will draw another start and will be a chalky DFS play. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:59 am
  • Iman Shumpert now dealing with foot soreness
Iman Shumpert (left knee surgery) is now dealing with foot soreness.

Advice: Shumpert was progressing well in his rehab from the knee procedure, but he suffered a setback with the foot soreness issue on Tuesday, and that will likely push back his timetable. Maybe he'll be able to get out there towards the end of January, but regardless of his playing status, he's a non-option in fantasy hoops with the Cavs healthy. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:09 am

  • Parsons (knee) not doing any contact work
Chandler Parsons (knee) has not been able to go through any contact work since hitting the sidelines on December 27.

Advice: "He’s not doing any contact stuff," Grizzlies interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff said. "But he’s been able to do a ton of shooting [and] conditioning, and every day we wait to see how he’s building. Things are improving. We’ll keep pushing forward." The Grizzlies haven't given any updates on Parsons, who has missed the past two weeks with what they're calling a "sore right knee," but he doesn't seem close. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:44 am
  • Garrett Temple scores three, takes hit
Garrett Temple started the second half over Buddy Hield on Tuesday but hit just 1-of-6 shots for three points and two steals.

Advice: He took a hard shot to his left thigh from Larry Nance in the second half, but was able to stay in the game. If he does miss any time with the injury, it would benefit Hield slightly, but neither player is at a must-own level right now. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:04 pm
  • C.J. McCollum scores 27 points w/ 7 dimes
C.J. McCollum scored 27 points on Tuesday vs. the Thunder, hitting 11-of-19 shots and all four of his free throws.

Advice: The Blazers are now 9-3 when McCollum scores 25 or more points, and he also finished the night with seven assists, three rebounds, one steal and one triple in 33 minutes. McCollum has a 30.7 usage rate when Damian Lillard (calf) is off the floor, so he'll be a popular DFS target once again on Wednesday vs. Houston if Lillard can't go. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:51 pm

  • Draymond Green (knee) probable for Wednesday
Draymond Green (knee) is probable for Wednesday's game vs. the Clippers.

Advice: He's been listed as probable the last few games, so there's no reason to expect him to sit. The Warriors do have a back-to-back set on Friday and Saturday, so they may be tempted to rest him in one of those. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 5:07 pm

  • Chandler Parsons (knee) ruled out Wednesday
Chandler Parsons (right knee soreness) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game vs. New Orleans.

Advice: This certainly isn't surprising, as Parsons has missed each of the Grizzlies last four games and was unable to practice on Tuesday. Jarell Martin and JaMychal Green will continue to divvy up additional minutes in his absence. There's no reason to be holding onto Parsons at this point. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 3:05 pm
  • Chandler Parsons (knee) doubtful Wednesday
Chandler Parsons (knee) was unable to practice on Tuesday and is doubtful to play Wednesday vs. New Orleans.

Advice: It looks like Wednesday will mark Parsons' fifth straight game on the sidelines, as he just can't seem to shake this knee issue, so Jarell Martin and JaMychal Green will continue to pick up the slack in his absence. Parsons belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 1:19 pm
  • Draymond Green fills boxscore vs. Nuggets
Draymond Green (knee) notched 23 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, three blocks, two 3-pointers and one steal in 35 minutes during Monday's win vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: Green's constant presence on the Warriors' injury report makes him seem like more of an injury risk than he really has been -- other than a mid-December stretch with five DNPs, he's missed just one game (Nov. 24). He also averaged 38.0 minutes in a back-to-back set in early January, which is a great sign, and owners shouldn't fret about his availability until the bitter end of the regular season.
