    • Struggles in Game 5 loss
Reid contributed seven points (3-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and one block in 20 minutes during Tuesday's 112-97 loss to the Nuggets in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Reid was a non-factor in the loss, continuing his recent struggles. Coming off a career-best season, Reid has been unable to produce at a consistent level during the postseason. He has scored fewer than 15 points in eight of the Timberwolves' nine playoff games. Now facing a must-win matchup, Reid will look to turn things around in front of his home fans. • Leads from deep in balanced Game 4
Strus provided 15 points (5-12 FG, 5-9 3Pt), seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 43 minutes before fouling out of Monday's 109-102 loss to Boston in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Strus led all players in Monday's contest in threes made while ending as one of four Cavaliers with double-digit scoring and handing out a team-high-tying assist total along with a pair of steals. Strus, who also hauled in seven boards, posted a new playoff high in threes made and notched his second game with 10 or more points in the series against the Celtics. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:18 pm
    • Max Strus scores all 15 points in first half
Max Strus lit up the Celtics with 15 points (5-of-12 FGs), seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and five 3-pointers against Boston in Game 4 on Monday.

Advice: Strus got off to a hot start in this game and entered the break with 15 points on five triples as they trailed by just five points. However, things were much different in the second half. He missed all five of his shot attempts but added six rebounds and six assists before fouling out late in the fourth. It was a strange half for Strus, since most of his production usually comes from beyond the arc, as he showcased in the first half. If Donovan Mitchell remains out for Game 5 on Wednesday, Strus will be asked to step up offensively once again. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:09 pm
    • Struggles in Game 3 loss
Strus totaled six points (2-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists over 37 minutes during Saturday's 106-93 loss to the Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Strus continues to deliver nothing but mediocrity, scoring fewer than 15 points for the eighth time in the past nine games, all during the playoffs. If the Cavaliers have any chance of beating the Celtics, they are going to need Strus to rediscover his form from earlier in the season. Based on what we have seen during the postseason, that might be wishful thinking. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:55 am
    • Naz Reid blocks four shots, scores 14 in Game 2
Naz Reid accumulated 14 points (5-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, one steal, four blocks, and four 3-pointers in 29 minutes in Monday’s 106-80 win over Denver.

Advice: The Timberwolves are taking a 2-0 lead home to Minneapolis, winning Game 2 dominantly despite not having Rudy Gobert (personal). Reid wasn’t the choice to fill the void in the starting lineup (Kyle Anderson was), but that didn’t keep him from impacting the action defensively. The NBA Sixth Man of the Year blocked four shots while hitting four 3-pointers and tallying 14 points. And Reid wasn’t the only reserve to show off his shot-blocking abilities. Nickeil Alexander-Walker racked up three blocks while also tallying 14 points, six rebounds, one assist, and four 3-pointers in 30 minutes. Minnesota’s bench has been superior through two games, and that’s unlikely to change when the series shifts to Minneapolis for Game 3 on Friday. Rotoworld May 6, 9:40 pm
    • Max Strus scores 11 second-half points in Game 7
Max Strus finished Sunday’s Game 7 victory over the Magic with 13 points (5-of-9 FGs), three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: After scoring seven points or less in the series’ first four games, Strus hit double figures in the final three. He was critical during the second half of Game 7, scoring 11 of his 13 points to (along with Darius Garland) give Donovan Mitchell the offensive assistance Cleveland’s star guard desperately needed. Garland had a rough Sunday overall, shooting 3-of-13 from the field and finishing with 12 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer. While he and Strus did what was required to get past Orlando, both must be better in Cleveland’s second-round series against Boston. Game 1 is on Tuesday night. Rotoworld May 5, 1:14 pm
