    • Nikola Jokic headlines All-NBA First Team quintet
      Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Nikola Jokic were named First-Team All-NBA on Wednesday.

      Advice: The All-NBA first team offered no surprises, including the top four vote-getters for Most Valuable Player. Jokic, who won his third MVP in four seasons, led the way, with Gilgeous-Alexander, Doncic, and Tatum next. Rounding out the squad was Antetokounmpo, named All-NBA for the eighth time in his career.       Advice: Caldwell-Pope scored single digits for the sixth time in the past eight games, highlighting the Nuggets' struggles when it comes to depth on the offensive end. While he continues to play a key role for Denver, his lack of production cannot be ignored when it comes to fantasy value.       Porter posted seven points (3-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt), nine rebounds and two blocks across 34 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Porter went just 1-for-6 from the three-point line, continuing a rough series for the sharpshooter. Over the seven-game span, Porter scored fewer than 10 points on five occasions. It was an unfortunate end for Porter after he managed to put together a strong season.       Kentavious Caldwell-Pope played 40 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves, tallying five points (2-of-7 FGs), six rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block, and one 3-pointer.

      Advice: After hitting four 3-pointers and scoring 16 points in Game 5, Caldwell-Pope ended his season with a whimper. In Denver’s losses to the Timberwolves in games 6 and 7, KCP scored 14 points on 4-of-13 shooting from the field (3-10 3-pointers). The veteran guard has been a mainstay in the Nuggets starting lineup, providing solid fantasy value. Caldwell-Pope finished this season ranked just outside the top 100 in 9-cat formats, but few fantasy managers are willing to roll the dice on him that early in drafts.     • Michael Porter Jr. goes cold, scores seven points
      Michael Porter Jr. shot 3-of-12 from the field in Sunday’s 98-90 loss to Minnesota, tallying seven points, nine rebounds, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

      Advice: While Jamal Murray (35) and Nikola Jokic (34) combined to score 69 points, no other Nugget scored more than seven in Sunday’s Game 7 defeat. Porter went ice cold, shooting 1-of-6 from beyond the arc and 3-of-12 from the field overall. Sunday night was a disappointing end for a player who provided fantasy managers with a top-75 season in 9-cat formats. Porter exceeded his Yahoo ADP (83.1) while appearing in a career-high 81 regular season games. As long as he stays healthy, MPJ should have a top-75 floor in fantasy basketball next season.     • Nikola Jokic goes for 34/19/7/0/1 in Game 7 loss
      Nikola Jokic accumulated 34 points (13-of-28 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), 19 rebounds, seven assists, one block, and two 3-pointers in 47 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves.

      Advice: Jokic recorded another elite stat line, but his production tailed off in crunch time. Minnesota’s depth and Denver’s lack of consistent options factored into the Joker playing tired, and the NBA will have its sixth champion in as many seasons. Jokic was once again one of the best players in fantasy basketball, ranking third in 9-cat formats and second in 8-cat. His days as the unquestioned 1.1 pick in drafts may be finished, as Victor Wembanyama appears poised to take over, but Jokic should be no worse than 1.3, regardless of league. Jokic is expected to play for Serbia in the Paris Olympics this summer, and their first group stage game is against the United States (July 27). Rotoworld Sunday, 8:16 pm
       
    • Josh Hart plays 37 MIN despite abdominal strain
      Josh Hart shot 3-of-9 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Sunday’s 130-109 loss to the Pacers, tallying 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 37 minutes.

      Advice: Despite suffering a strained abdominal muscle during Game 6, Hart was on the court for Game 7. Give him credit for gutting out 37 minutes before fouling out, but he wasn’t himself physically. Hart still contributed 10 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, but it wasn’t enough to help the Knicks erase an early deficit. Hart was expected to provide late-round fantasy value this season, and that’s precisely what he did. However, he was a 6th-round player in 9-cat formats after the trade deadline. Hart’s fantasy ceiling in 2024-25 will depend on what the Knicks do with the rest of the roster, as OG Anunoby can become a free agent, and Julius Randle (shoulder) will be healthy.       Hart finished with 10 points (3-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals over 37 minutes in Sunday's 130-109 loss to Indiana in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Hart once again gave all he had for New York in a winner-take-all battle, putting forth an all-around showing that included reaching double figures in scoring, ending two rebounds shy of the double-digit mark and adding a handful of assists as well as a team-high-tying pair of steals. Despite dealing with some injuries throughout the series against Indiana, Hart recorded at least 10 points and eight rebounds in five of the seven games in the series.       Advice: Hart will fight through an abdominal strain he sustained Friday and will be joined by OG Anunoby (hamstring) in the starting lineup for Game 7. While it remains to be seen if Hart will have any physical limitations due to the injury, it seems he will get as many minutes as he can handle.
