    • Signs three-year deal with Dallas
Marshall has agreed to a three-year, $27 million deal with the Mavericks, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: Marshall has spent all four years of his career with the Pelicans, but he will now be joining the Mavericks who look to gear up for another deep run. The 26-year-old pro averaged 7.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 19.0 minutes per game across 66 appearances last season. Marshall could hold a sizeable role next year with Derrick Jones hitting free agency. Rotowire.com Today, 7:14 pm
    • Mason Plumlee signs one-year deal with Suns
Mason Plumlee has agreed to a one-year deal with the Phoenix Suns, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Advice: Plumlee logged just under 15 minutes per tilt across 46 appearances for Los Angeles last season. He’ll compete with Bol Bol and Thad Young for backup minutes behind Jusuf Nurkic next season. Plumlee is off the fantasy radar in fantasy leagues of nearly all sizes. Rotoworld Today, 7:08 pm
    • Woj: Mavs, Naji Marshall agree to three-year deal
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Mavericks and Naji Marshall have agreed to a three-year, $27 million deal.

Advice: A solid bench contributor for the Pelicans during his four seasons in New Orleans, Marshall is headed to Dallas for the next step in his career. Appearing in 66 games last season, he averaged 7.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.9 3-pointers in 19.0 minutes. Marshall’s signing calls into question the future of Derrick Jones Jr., who is also a free agent. Jones was a consistent starter for the Western Conference champions, and his exit would free up additional minutes for Marshall. In fact, Marshall could start if Dallas was unable to sign Klay Thompson. Rotoworld Today, 7:05 pm
    • Heading to Phoenix
Plumlee agreed to a one-year deal with the Suns on Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: Plumlee has bounced around the league throughout most of his career, and he'll be on the move again after agreeing to a short-term deal with Phoenix. He made 46 regular-season appearances (11 starts) with the Clippers last year and averaged 5.3 points and 5.1 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per game. He'll attempt to bounce back with his new team but will likely have to settle for a depth role once again. Rotowire.com Today, 7:02 pm
    • Jonas Valanciunas inks 3-year deal with Wizards
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Jonas Valanciunas has agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal with the Wizards.

Advice: It’s a bit of a surprising move for both sides as Valanciunas opts to sign with a rebuilding team, and Washington adds another center to a frontcourt that includes Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley III and just drafted Alex Sarr with the No. 2 pick in the draft. Valanciunas’ minutes were cut in his last season with New Orleans, and his production suffered because of it. It’s unclear what kind of role he’ll have in Washington, but all of the abovementioned players likely get a ding in fantasy value. New Orleans lost Larry Nance Jr. to the Hawks in the Dejounte Murray trade, so the Pelicans may be forced to give big minutes to rookie center Yves Missi right away. Rotoworld Today, 5:55 pm
    • Bound for D.C. on three-year pact
Valanciunas agreed to a three-year, $30 million contract with the Wizards on Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: Valanciunas played at least 74 regular-season games in each of his three seasons with the Pelicans, but his role declined in 2023-24 while New Orleans enjoyed better health from frontcourt mate Zion Williamson. Though he appeared in all 82 games, Valanciunas' averages of 12.2 points and 8.8 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per game all represented notable downturns from the season before. The 32-year-old should have a chance to bounce back as a veteran presence for the Wizards, who just selected Alex Sarr with the No. 2 pick in this year's draft. Rotowire.com Today, 5:51 pm
    • Strikes deal with San Antonio
Paul agreed Sunday with the Spurs on a one-year deal worth at least $11 million, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.

Advice: After being waived by Golden State shortly before the start of the free-agent moratorium period that began Sunday at 6 p.m. ET, Paul quickly found a new home with the rebuilding Spurs. In San Antonio, the 39-year-old may not see a major increase in the 26.4 minutes per contest he averaged with the Warriors in 2023-24, though he should benefit from a spike in the career-low 15.4 percent usage rate he handled now that he's part of a far more green Spurs backcourt rather than one that includes established All-Star talents in Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. The Spurs could elect to deploy a rough platoon of Paul and Tre Jones at point guard, which would enable rookie first-round Stephon Castle pick to begin his career in the more familiar off-ball role that he filled at UConn. • Heading to Philadelphia
Gordon agreed to a one-year, $3.3 million contract with the 76ers on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Gordon spent the 2023-24 campaign in Phoenix and averaged 11.0 points, 2.2 three-pointers, 2.0 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 27.8 minutes per game over 68 regular-season appearances. He's converted 38.5 percent of his 5.4 three-point attempts per game over the past three seasons and should be a solid perimeter presence for his new team, but the extent of his role will likely depend on whether the 76ers land Paul George in free agency. • Haynes: Chris Paul expected to sign with Spurs
According to TNT’s Chris Haynes, Chris Paul is expected to sign with the Spurs.

Advice: Waived by the Warriors on Sunday afternoon due to the team’s desire to avoid guaranteeing his $30 million salary for next season, Paul has been perceived as a player the Spurs wanted to add in free agency. San Antonio struggled mightily last season despite having rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama, and there was a dire need to improve the options at point guard. Paul certainly accomplishes that, and it’s fair to question the future of Tre Jones, as San Antonio selected Stephon Castle with the No. 4 pick in the NBA Draft. Paul’s presence will benefit Wembanyama and Devin Vassell, and it should boost his value after an underwhelming 2023-24 with the Warriors. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Paul’s deal is worth $11 million for one season. Rotoworld Today, 5:36 pm
