    • Isaiah Hartenstein corrals 12 offensive rebounds
Isaiah Hartenstein dominated the boards in Tuesday’s Game 5 win over the Pacers, grabbing 17 to go along with seven points (2-of-3 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five assists, and one blocked shot in 31 minutes.

Advice: After he and the Knicks failed to bring the required energy to the court in Game 4 on Sunday, Hartenstein was outstanding on Tuesday. The 7-footer, who stands to command a hefty contract in free agency this summer, grabbed 12 of New York’s 20 offensive rebounds and finished with 17 overall. Hartenstein’s 12 offensive boards tied a franchise playoff record that Charles Oakley initially held. With Tuesday’s 30-point victory, the Knicks will take a 3-2 series lead to Indiana for Game 6 on Friday night. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:03 pm
    • Miles McBride starts, scores 17 points in Game 5
Miles McBride played 40 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Pacers, amassing 17 points (7-of-15 FGs), one rebound, four assists, and three 3-pointers.

Advice: Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau decided to move McBride into the starting lineup for Game 5, and that shift helped New York regain momentum in the series. Deuce’s presence gave the Knicks another ball-handler to deal with the Pacers’ full-court pressure, and he also helped harass Tyrese Haliburton on the defensive end of the floor. McBride getting 15 shots was a bit surprising, but he took advantage of those opportunities well. Precious Achiuwa, who started Games 3 and 4, finished with four points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks in 23 minutes off the bench. The Knicks hold a 3-2 series lead with Game 6 on Friday night in Indianapolis. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:58 pm
    • Ties Knicks record in Game 5
Hartenstein contributed seven points (2-3 FG, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds, five assists and one block over 31 minutes in Tuesday's 121-91 win over the Pacers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Hartenstein registered double-digit rebounds for the second time this playoffs. He was responsible for 12 of New York's 20 offensive rebounds, which tied Charles Oakley for the most in a playoff game in Knicks history. Hartenstein has continued to provide crucial minutes for the Knicks in the absence of Mitchell Robinson (ankle). Hartenstein is averaging 8.8 points, 9.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:50 pm
    • NYK starting Brunson, Deuce, Donte, Hart, iHart
Jalen Brunson, Miles McBride, Donte DiVincenzo, Josh Hart, and Isaiah Hartenstein will start Tuesday’s Game 5 against the Pacers.

Advice: After starting Precious Achiuwa for the injured OG Anunoby in Games 3 and 4, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau is going with Deuce McBride for Game 5. While the Knicks will be smaller, sparking some concerns about how they’ll defend Pascal Siakam, they’re better offensively with McBride in the lineup. In addition to his shooting ability, he can help bring the ball up with the Pacers pressuring Brunson for 94 feet. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:38 pm
    • Enters starting lineup
McBride will enter the starting lineup for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers, Tony East of SI.com reports.

Advice: The Knicks have dropped two games in a row with OG Anunoby (hamstring) sidelined and the series is tied, so they will shake things up by going smaller. With McBride starting, Precious Achiuwa will head to the bench. McBride was terrific in Sunday's Game 4, scoring 16 points with five rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes. • Good to go for Game 5
Hartenstein (shoulder) isn't listed on New York's injury report for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers.

Advice: As expected, Hartenstein will be good to go for Game 5 after suffering a minor shoulder injury during Sunday's Game 4 loss. In New York's two wins during the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Hartenstein has averaged 13.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists. However, in the two losses, the starting center has totaled only 10 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. Rotowire.com Monday, 2:37 pm
    • Suffers minor injury in loss
Hartenstein suffered a minor shoulder injury in Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Pacers, but he should be good to go for Game 5 on Tuesday, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.

Advice: Hartenstein was in clear discomfort after taking a fall during Sunday's 121-89 loss to the Pacers, but he was able to continue playing. Following the game, Hartenstein stated he may have pinched a nerve in his shoulder, but reassured that he is fine. The 26-year-old pro finished Sunday's contest with a meager four points (2-3 FG) and five rebounds across 21 minutes. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:42 pm
    • Isaiah Hartenstein (shoulder) logs 22 MIN Sunday
Isaiah Hartenstein (left shoulder injury) finished Sunday’s 121-89 loss to the Pacers with four points (2-of-3 FGs) and five rebounds in 22 minutes.

Advice: Hartenstein wasn’t effective in Game 4, and things got even worse when he fell hard on his left arm/shoulder after attempting a layup. The good news for the Knicks is that he remained in the game, with the minutes total impacted more by the state of the game than the injury. However, with a host of Knicks already sidelined, the last thing the team needs is to lose another key rotation player. Following the game, iHart said he may have a pinched never in his shoulder, but X-rays were negative. Hartenstein said he’ll be fine for Game 5 on Tuesday, but don’t be surprised if his name appears on the initial injury report. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:04 pm
    • Passive performance Wednesday
McBride amassed four points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one assist across 20 minutes during Wednesday's 130-121 victory over the Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Advice: McBride managed just four points in the win, struggling to find any real rhythm on the offensive end. Although his role has been somewhat limited to this point, OG Anunoby (hamstring) going down could open up an interesting opportunity. Should Anunoby be forced to miss time, look for McBride to potentially slide into the starting lineup for Game 3. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:47 pm
