    Advice: Irving had a tough night at the foul line, but that doesn’t erase the overall contributions. He was especially important during the moments when backcourt sidekick Luka Doncic was laboring through ankle and knee ailments. Irving and Doncic are the biggest reasons why Dallas returns home for Sunday’s Game 3 with a 2-0 series lead.     Tyrese Haliburton (left hamstring soreness) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Celtics.

    Advice: Haliburton, limited by an injury to the same hamstring earlier this season, exited Thursday’s Game 2 defeat during the fourth quarter. While the injury being a case of soreness instead of a strain is good news, there’s no guarantee the All-NBA point guard will play on Saturday. Andrew Nembhard (who’s already a starter), T.J. McConnell, and Ben Sheppard would all be required to do more if Haliburton cannot play. And the Pacers are already in an 0-2 hole, so losing Haliburton could end their hopes of turning things around.     Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle said after Thursday's 126-110 loss to the Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals that Haliburton's departure late in the third quarter was the result of left hamstring soreness, Joe Vardon of The Athletic reports. "We hope that this is a very short-term aggravation," Carlisle said.

    Advice: Though Haliburton tallied 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt), eight assists, four rebounds and one steal in 28 minutes before leaving the game for good with 3:44 remaining in the third quarter, he appeared to have picked up the injury earlier in the contest. He fell hard to the floor in the first half and was spotted in the medical imaging room at TD Garden during halftime to get evaluated for a chest injury, but Carlisle relayed after the game that Haliburton was also getting his hamstring worked on. Haliburton was playing in pain in the third quarter before checking out of the game for good with an injury that the Pacers officially labeled as left leg soreness before Carlisle provided more clarity afterward. The All-Star guard previously missed 10 games in January due to a strain of the same hamstring, so he could struggle to gain clearance ahead of Saturday's Game 3 in Indiana.     Advice: White came alive in the second half of this game and had 17 points on 7-of-8 shooting after halftime, which resulted in a full stat line for him. White was phenomenal against Miami, but he struggled for most of the Cleveland series and in Game 1 against the Pacers. However, if this second half performance can spark something for him, they shouldn’t have any issues advancing to the NBA Finals.     Advice: Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics in their Game 2 victory, but White was impressive in his own right as well, recording at least 20 points for the fifth time in the current playoff run and also filling out the stat sheet admirably. White holds a secondary role in the Celtics' offensive scheme, but he still delivers excellent fantasy value due to his all-around ability and occasional scoring exploits.
