  • Mike Muscala (ankle) ruled out Monday
Mike Muscala (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. the Spurs.

Advice: He was originally probable, so maybe he didn't like how his ankle felt in warmups. With Muscala out again, the Hawks will continue to roll with a frontcourt rotation consisting of Dewayne Dedmon, Luke Babbitt and John Collins. 39 minutes ago
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) ruled out vs. Cavs
Jon Leuer (ankle) will not play on Monday vs. the Cavaliers.

Advice: Coach Stan Van Gundy hasn't heard back from Leuer about his second MRI, so we could potentially have another update this evening. With Leuer out, Eric Moreland and Anthony Tolliver will likely split the few minutes that Leuer was playing before the injury. 55 minutes ago
  • Joel Embiid (knee) will play on Monday
Joel Embiid (sore left knee) will play Monday vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Embiid looked just fine while going through his pregame routine, so he should see his regular workload tonight. Feel free to fire him up in all settings, and with Embiid active, Richaun Holmes loses a lot of luster in daily leagues. Today, 3:31 pm
  • Anthony Davis (face) has no restrictions
Anthony Davis (face) has no restrictions on Monday vs. the Thunder.

Advice: He was cleared of the concussion protocol over the weekend and is merely dealing with a sore right eye. Get him in your lineups and check back after the game to see how he fares. Today, 3:24 pm
  • Amir Johnson expected to start if Embiid sits
Amir Johnson will likely draw the start on Monday vs. Utah if Joel Embiid (sore knee) is unable to give it a go.

Advice: Even as a starter, Johnson likely wouldn't earn much more than 15 minutes, so he's still not a great target should he move into the starting five tonight. Richaun Holmes, however, would very likely earn minutes in the mid-20s, if not more, if Embiid is out, which would make him a popular target in daily leagues. Today, 2:47 pm
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) doubtful for Monday
Jon Leuer (ankle) is doubtful to play Monday vs. the Cavs.

Advice: Stan Van Gundy said that he hasn't had a chance to talk with Leuer and that he doesn't know yet if he's undergone that second MRI, which indicates that Leuer won't be taking the floor tonight. His likely absence is more or less irrelevant in fantasy hoops. Today, 2:33 pm
  • Joel Embiid (knee) a true game-time call Mon
Joel Embiid (left knee soreness) remains a game-time decision for Monday's matchup with the Jazz.

Advice: Embiid wants to get out there, but the decision will ultimately be up to the 76ers' medical staff, and they've been known to err on the side of caution with their franchise players. We likely won't get another update until just prior to tip-off, but if Embiid is forced to the sidelines tonight, Richaun Holmes would see a nice uptick in minutes and there would be more shots to go around for basically everyone. Stay tuned. Today, 2:30 pm
  • Richaun Holmes (illness) will play Monday
Richaun Holmes (illness) will play Monday vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Joel Embiid (left knee soreness) remains a game-time call, and if he's not able to give it a go, Holmes would likely be flirting with minutes in the mid-20s, making him a truly inticing DFS play. Jahlil Okafor could also get into the rotation sans Embiid, and Amir Johnson would draw the start, but Holmes is the guy you want to target in fantasy hoops. Today, 2:27 pm
  • X-rays come back negative on Millsap's wrist
X-rays taken on Paul Millsap's left wrist came back negative, but he will not play Monday vs. Sacramento.

Advice: It's nice to know that Millsap didn't break anything, but depending on the severity of the sprain, he could be looking at more than just a one-game absence here. Kenneth Faried or Will Barton could move into the starting five tonight with Millsap out, and there will be more opportunity on offense for guys like Gary Harris, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Today, 1:18 pm
  • Tyson Chandler (illness) says he'll play Weds
Tyson Chandler (illness) was a full participant during Monday's practice and said he expects to play Wednesday vs. Milwaukee.

Advice: Chandler has spent five of the past seven games on the sidelines with an illness and back issues, but it sounds like he'll be back in the rotation on Wednesday night, which isn't great news for the likes of Alex Len, Marquese Chriss and Greg Monroe. Head coach Jay Triano said he's not sure how he'll handle the minutes with three centers available, but this could very easily turn into a value-killing timeshare situation. Today, 11:58 am
  • Paul Millsap (wrist) ruled out for Monday
Paul Millsap (left wrist) has been ruled out for Monday's game in Sacramento.

Advice: Millsap sprained his wrist on Sunday night, and while X-rays came back negative, it won't be all that surprising if he's forced to spend at least a few games on the sidelines. Nuggets reporter Harrison Wind speculates that Kenneth Faried could be Millsap's replacement tonight, and if that's the case, he could be someone to consider as a punt play in DFS. We can also expect guys like Gary Harris, Nikola Jokic, Will Barton and Jamal Murray to all see an uptick in usage sans Millsap. Today, 11:16 am
  • Georgios Papagiannis recalled from G-League
Georgios Papagiannis was recalled from the G-League.

Advice: He will eventually get a look when coach Dave Joerger comes to the conclusion that Kosta Koufos and Zach Randolph aren't the building blocks of the franchise. Today, 10:09 am
  • Joel Embiid says he should be fine for Monday
Joel Embiid (left knee soreness) said he should be "fine" for Monday's game vs. Utah.

Advice: He's considered a game-time call, but Embiid said "the decision is on me" in regards to playing. This means owners can tentatively pencil him into lineups, but a final call won't be made until he warms up. If he decides to sit, Richaun Holmes (illness), Amir Johnson, Dario Saric and Jahlil Okafor would all be candidates to see more minutes. Today, 9:25 am
  • Ryan Anderson (illness) will miss practice
Ryan Anderson (illness) will not attend Monday's practice.

Advice: The Rockets don't play until Wednesday, but with a total of two games on the schedule in Week 6, he's safe to bench in weekly formats even if he doesn't miss any time. Anderson is hitting 2.8 triples per game this season, but he's basically a one-trick pony in fantasy. Today, 9:12 am
  • Anthony Davis (face) will play on Monday
Anthony Davis (face) will play on Monday vs. the Thunder.

Advice: He was originally listed as probable after clearing the concussion protocol over the weekend and said he's feeling good. Davis has cooled off a bit in November after a phenomenal start to the season, but he's easily a top-10 fantasy option every time he's active. Today, 9:00 am
  • Vucevic will play through knee soreness
Nikola Vucevic banged knees on Saturday vs. the Jazz, but he will play on Monday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: He said his knee was sore on Sunday, but there's no word of any restrictions. The Magic will watch him closely and this makes him a risky DFS play, but season-long owners can go ahead and throw him into their lineups. Today, 8:46 am
  • Richaun Holmes (illness) questionable Monday
Richaun Holmes (gastroenteritis) is questionable for Monday's game vs. Utah.

Advice: He hasn't been getting much playing time, but his status is worth monitoring closely because Joel Embiid is also questionable due to left knee soreness. Holmes would be a great streaming option if he plays and Embiid doesn't, but look for Amir Johnson, Dario Saric and maybe even Jahlil Okafor to step up if both of these guys can't go. Today, 8:37 am
  • Embiid (knee soreness) questionable Monday
Joel Embiid is a game-time call for Monday's game vs. the Jazz with left knee soreness.

Advice: Embiid has been battling soreness for most of the season, but the 76ers have said that they're not concerned and that it was expected. He's also been playing 30.2 minutes over his last 10 games, so he's adjusting to a larger workload. If Embiid is held out, the 76ers will likely use a combination of Amir Johnson, Richaun Holmes (illness) and Dario Saric to absorb his minutes. Jahlil Okafor may get a chance to showcase himself as well. Today, 8:32 am
  • Atkinson praises Allen's performance Sunday
Jarrett Allen scored six points (3-of-4 FGs) with three rebounds and one block vs. the Warriors on Sunday, impressing coach Kenny Atkinson in the process.

Advice: "Jarrett coming in, his ability to roll to the rim makes it a little harder for them to switch when you have a seven-footer out there that can put pressure on the rim," he said. Atkinson added that he "can’t wait until he really hits his peak" and said this game was a glimpse of what he can offer in the future. The rookie is loaded with shot-blocking upside, but should be treated like a stash until the Nets unleash him. Today, 7:40 am
  • McRoberts (lower extremity injury) out Monday
Josh McRoberts (lower extremity injury) will not play on Monday vs. Boston.

Advice: He's yet to play this season and is still considered out indefinitely. When McRoberts is cleared, he probably won't have a role on the rebuilding Mavs. Today, 7:17 am
  • Mason Plumlee returned to action on Sunday November 19. Yesterday, 11:54 pm
  • Kenneth Faried logs nine bench minutes
Kenneth Faried came off the bench on Sunday for two points and three rebounds in nine minutes.

Advice: Nikola Jokic was ejected early and Paul Millsap (wrist) didn't play after halftime, but it was guys like Mason Plumlee and Trey Lyles who benefited the most. That speaks volumes about Faried's lack of fantasy appeal in Denver. Yesterday, 9:47 pm
  • Julius Randle gets 24/7/5, hits 11-of-18 FGs
Julius Randle lit up the Nuggets on Sunday for a season-high 24 points on 11-of-18 shooting, hitting one 3-pointer with seven rebounds, five assists and two turnovers.

Advice: Randle played 32 minutes, after logging just 16 minutes vs. Phoenix on Friday, and after the game coach Luke Walton said, "When [Randle] plays like he did tonight, he's as good as anyone in this league]." Nikola Jokic (ejection) and Paul Millsap (wrist) were both out after halftime tonight, and Randle deserves credit for taking advantage of the situation, but we're skeptical since Kyle Kuzma is playing well at PF and Larry Nance (hand) is due back soon. Yesterday, 9:46 pm
  • Mason Plumlee starts 2nd half for Jokic
Mason Plumlee started the second half of Sunday's game in place of Nikola Jokic (ejection), finishing with 10 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and four blocks in 30 minutes.

Advice: Jokic's ejection was questionable, at best, and there's almost no way that he'll face further punishment from the league. As such, there's no reason to think Plumlee will help fantasy owners vs. the Kings on Monday. He made 4-of-6 shots tonight, but emphasized one of his fantasy weaknesses with a 2-of-10 mark at the FT line. Yesterday, 9:40 pm
  • Paul Millsap (wrist) awaits X-rays results
Paul Millsap (left wrist) had X-rays taken after leaving Sunday's game in the first half, but the results aren't yet known.

Advice: Millsap didn't play after halftime on Sunday, but Denver was trailing by more than 20 points so hopefully this isn't a long-term issue. The X-rays results should be disclosed soon. If Millsap does miss time, Trey Lyles should gain the most, with guys like Juan Hernangomez, Kenneth Faried and Mason Plumlee also picking up the slack. Yesterday, 9:14 pm
  • Paul Millsap (left wrist sprain) exits Sunday
Paul Millsap exited Sunday's game with a left wrist sprain, finishing with five points, four rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer in 13 minutes.

Advice: Millsap headed into the locker room and emerged with his wrist taped in the first half, but Will Barton replaced him in the starting lineup after halftime. This could be a simple precaution, especially since Nikola Jokic was ejected early and Denver trailed by 22 points at halftime, but we'll consider Millsap questionable for Monday's road game in Sacramento. Yesterday, 8:28 pm
  • Robin Lopez posts 16 & 10 in 31 minutes
Robin Lopez bounced back on Sunday with 16 points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes vs. the Suns, making 6-of-11 FGs and 4-of-6 FTs.

Advice: The veteran big man was an uncharacteristic 5-of-16 from the field in his previous two games, with more fouls (seven) than rebounds (five), so it was nice to see him return to form. The Suns' frontcourt isn't formidable defensively, of course, but RoLo gets another promising matchup vs. his brother in L.A. on Tuesday. Yesterday, 8:12 pm
  • Nikola Jokic ejected in second quarter Sunday
Nikola Jokic was ejected in the second quarter of Sunday's game, finishing with six points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal in 12 minutes.

Advice: In a wild sequence, Jokic and Nuggets coach Mike Malone were both ejected for yelling at the refs -- Malone may have been trying to get tossed, but Jokic's ejection did not seem deserved. Whether or not the league rescinds a technical foul, it's safe to assume that Jokic will be ready to go vs. Sacramento on Monday. Yesterday, 7:31 pm
  • Cole Aldrich (ankle) gets another DNP-CD
Cole Aldrich (ankle) picked up another DNP-CD on Sunday.

Advice: The 29-year-old center was reportedly cleared to play on Wednesday but he's simply not a part of Tom Thibodeau's rotation. We're taking him off the injury report. Yesterday, 6:54 pm
  • Andre Drummond gets 20 & 16 w/ full line
Andre Drummond hauled in nine offensive rebounds on Sunday, finishing with 16 boards, 20 points, four assists, two steals and one block in 33 minutes.

Advice: Drummond left in the third quarter in obvious pain, apparently due to a left elbow/forearm injury, but he looked fine upon returning. It's possible he banged his funny bone and we'll leave him off the injury report prior to Monday's game vs. Cleveland. Yesterday, 6:35 pm
  • Jonas Valanciunas gets benched for 2nd half
Jonas Valanciunas was benched for nearly the entire second half of action on Sunday, finishing with just four points, seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 17 minutes.

Advice: This was Valanciunas' second four-point stinker in a row, and as long as Dwane Casey is at the helm in Toronto, JV owners can expect plenty of games like this. To Casey's credit, Valanciunas was fairly abysmal on the defensive end, and after the Wizards got off to a quick 12-4 run to begin the second half of action, Valanciunas went to the bench and never touched the floor again. His minutes will be inconsistent throughout the year, making JV an annoying guy to own as long as he's in Toronto. Yesterday, 3:58 pm
  • Tyson Chandler, Jared Dudley out Sunday
Tyson Chandler (illness) and Jared Dudley (knee) will not play vs. the Bulls on Sunday.

Advice: Chandler has now missed three straight games. He should be healthy to face the Bucks on Wednesday, but in the meantime Greg Monroe will get another chance to improve his trade value, while Alex Len also picks up extra playing time. Yesterday, 3:24 pm
  • Tyson Chandler, Jared Dudley are questionable
Tyson Chandler (illness) and Jared Dudley (knee) are still questionable to face the Bulls on Sunday.

Advice: Jay Triano should clarify the status of both players shortly before tip-off, so check back soon if you're targeting the Suns in DFS. Yesterday, 2:53 pm
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) out Sunday vs. Minnesota
Jon Leuer (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: Leuer has spent the past seven games on the sidelines, and head coach Stan Van Gundy said that Leuer will have an MRI, so we'll be awaiting those results. Eric Moreland and Anthony Tolliver will be splitting Leuer's minutes, but that means very little in fantasy hoops. Yesterday, 2:47 pm
  • Mike Muscala (ankle) probable for Monday
Mike Muscala (ankle) is probable to play Monday vs. the Spurs.

Advice: Muscala was available to play on Saturday but didn't actually step foot on the court, which could indicate he's not currently in the rotation. Whether he plays or not, he won't be receiving enough minutes to make a difference in any format. Yesterday, 1:50 pm
  • Lakers recall Zubac and Hart
The Lakers have recalled Ivica Zubac and Josh Hart from the G-League.

Advice: Both players deserve more run in Los Angeles, but that may not happen consistently until later in the season. Yesterday, 10:12 am
  • Anthony Davis (face) is probable for Monday
Anthony Davis (face) is probable for Monday's game vs. the Thunder.

Advice: Davis was in the concussion protocol after taking a shot to the head on Friday, but he has been cleared of the concussion diagnosis and is simply dealing with a facial contusion. His fantasy owners dodged a bullet and can go ahead and pencil him into active lineups. Yesterday, 9:13 am
  • Biggie gets bumped out
Caleb Swanigan moved to the bench and played two minutes against the Kings on Saturday

Advice: Sadly, Biggie is out of the rotation and only played in garbage time. Swanigan should find a way to get minutes at some point, but he's an easy drop now. Saturday, 9:53 pm
  • Ed Davis plays 22 minutes
Ed Davis (ankle) played 22 minutes with two points, eight boards, one assist and one block against the Kings on Saturday.

Advice: He suffered an ankle sprain on Friday, but he wasn't limited in this game. Davis has really come on as a rebounder and he may have value if Jusuf Nurkic had to miss time. Saturday, 9:51 pm
  • Kosta Koufos scores four points
Kosta Koufos scored four points with seven rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes against the Blazers on Saturday.

Advice: Willie Cauley-Stein said he likes to play next to Koufos, so maybe he can find a regular role. Still, there's very little upside here. Saturday, 9:24 pm
  • Ryan Anderson posts three triples in road win
Ryan Anderson posted 13 points with four rebounds and an assist across 27 minutes in Saturday's blowout win in Memphis.

Advice: Anderson finished 4-of-7 from the field, including 3-of-5 from behind the arc, before resting for a good chunk of the fourth quarter. Anderson has knocked down nine triples over his past two outings, and that's really what sets him apart for fantasy owners. In fact, he has at least one 3-pointer made in each of his 17 games this season, averaging 2.8 triples per outing. Saturday, 8:40 pm
  • Joel Embiid scores 21 points in loss
Joel Embiid scored 21 points with eight rebounds, three assists, one block, five turnovers and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes against the Warriors on Saturday.

Advice: The Process did give us a couple scares in this game, but he's OK. He hit his head under the basket and had to go to the bench to get checked out by the training staff. Embiid also fell on his left side as he couldn't get a pump fake to work on JaVale McGee. After giving up a Process dunk on the first possession, the Warriors did an outstanding job of keeping him out of the paint, but of course they have the personnel to do it. The Jazz will not on Monday, so expect another giant line from Embiid. Saturday, 8:16 pm
  • Mike Muscala (ankle) apparently gets DNP-CD
Mike Muscala (ankle) didn't play vs. Boston on Saturday.

Advice: Muscala said he was available, so presumably coach Mike Budenholzer simply didn't include him in the rotation tonight. He's now missed seven straight games, having last played on Nov. 3, and his fantasy value is non-existent with Dewayne Dedmon playing well and John Collins soaking up the backup-center minutes. Saturday, 7:43 pm
  • Richaun Holmes gets all the C2 minutes
Richaun Holmes scored six points with four rebounds, one assist and one block in 15 minutes against the Warriors on Saturday.

Advice: He played 100 percent of the backup center minutes and hopefully this will continue. Holmes brings a lot of energy, he defends the 3-point line well for a five man, and the 76ers love to throw him lobs. If he can somehow keep his minutes at 15-20 every night, he is worth owning in 12-team leagues because he's fantasy basketball's best handcuff. Saturday, 7:39 pm
  • Nikola Vucevic scores eight points
Nikola Vucevic scored eight points during a 126-85 loss to the Jazz on Saturday, adding two rebounds, one assist, two blocks and three steals in 24 minutes.

Advice: Hey, at least the defensive stats were there. This was arguably his worst game as Derrick Favors dominated him on both ends. Vucevic's October was obviously unsustainable overall, but he's still hanging 1.7 treys per game in November to help him get to 14 per night. The Magic offense overall has really flattened out, but Vooch should still be able to flirt with top-40 value going forward. Saturday, 6:44 pm
  • Ed Davis (ankle) says he's playing vs. Kings
Ed Davis (ankle) said he will play against the Kings on Saturday.

Advice: He tweaked his ankle in the first quarter on Friday, but he was able to play through it. Davis has played well and the Blazers did struggle when he was off the floor last night, so maybe he gets more burn. He's not worth owning in most leagues, though. Saturday, 5:54 pm
  • Mason Plumlee (core strain) now probable
Updating a previous item, Mason Plumlee (core strain) is probable to play against the Lakers on Sunday.

Advice: He was questionable earlier this afternoon, but he should be good to go. Expect him to back up Nikola Jokic for 13-15 minutes unless there's a blowout. He's not really a great add in fantasy while Jokic is healthy. Saturday, 1:30 pm
  • Mason Plumlee (core strain) questionable
Mason Plumlee (core strain) is questionable to play against the Lakers on Sunday.

Advice: After an MRI earlier this week, he did play 19 minutes on Friday. If Plumlee is out for this one, Kenneth Faried would likely pick up some extra minutes at the five. Wilson Chandler could also play some four, which may open up minutes for guys like Malik Beasley or Juancho Hernangomez. Saturday, 12:27 pm
  • Ed Davis (ankle) is questionable to play
Ed Davis (ankle) is questionable to play against the Kings on Saturday.

Advice: He hurt his ankle early on Friday night, but he was able to play through it for 22 total minutes. Davis has quietly been one of the best backup centers, and his performance is part of the reason Jusuf Nurkic is off to a slow start. If Davis can't give it a go, Meyers Leonard would likely back up Nurk, who figures to play slightly more than usual, as well. Saturday, 11:13 am
  • Mike Muscala (ankle) available to play Sat
Mike Muscala (ankle) said he will be available to play Saturday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: Muscala has missed six straight games. He had started five of the previous six contests he played in prior to the ankle injury and averaged 24.2 minutes per game during that stretch. His return will likely eat into the playing time of John Collins. Starter Dewayne Dedmon may see his minutes scaled back slightly as well. Saturday, 8:09 am
  • Nikola Jokic double-doubles in win
Nikola Jokic scored 13 points with 11 rebounds, six assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes against the Pelicans on Friday.

Advice: And here come the Nuggets. Their NBA-high 146 points for this season has helped them rise to sixth in offensive rating, and they're also creeping up in the pace ranks after ranking in the bottom 10 for much of the season -- they're 14th on the season now. Somewhat surprisingly, Jokic was somewhat quiet in this game, but his owners have to love to see Denver's offense is on a roll again. Friday, 10:46 pm
  • Paul Millsap scores 20 points in full line
Paul Millsap scored 20 points with six rebounds, seven assists, two blocks, two steals and three 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Pelicans on Friday.

Advice: October was not fun, but Millsap is having himself quite a month in November. In his last eight games, he averaged 17.6 points, 5.0 boards, 4.1 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.8 blocks and 1.6 treys. His Atlanta offense and this Denver offense are night and day, but now he seems to have it figured out. If you bought low on Halloween, you're in for a treat. Friday, 10:40 pm
  • Mason Plumlee scores six
Mason Plumlee scored six points with six rebounds and two assists in 19 minutes against the Pelicans on Friday.

Advice: He had an MRI on his core, but he didn't need to miss time. Plumlee does get some PF minutes next to Nikola Jokic, but there isn't much upside here. Friday, 10:28 pm
  • Kosta Koufos plays team-high 33 minutes
Kosta Koufos scored 10 points with seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block in 33 minutes against the Blazers on Friday.

Advice: He played great next to Willie Cauley-Stein in the second unit to keep the Blazers to 82 points. It may be tough for Koufos to see run every night, but getting a win when he played a team-high 33 minutes should help his case. We'll see if he plays in the back-to-back set on Saturday. It's really hard to add him with how often coach Dave Joerger changes his rotation. Friday, 10:15 pm
  • Caleb Swanigan flops in a start vs. Kings
Caleb Swanigan scored two points with four rebounds, one assist and one steal in just 10 minutes during his start against the Kings on Friday

Advice: Coach Terry Stotts has a quick hook for his unestablished players, so Swanigan has some work to do to earn his trust. He'll probably be out of the rotation once Al-Farouq Aminu (ankle) comes back. Friday, 9:38 pm
  • Anthony Davis suffers a concussion Friday
Anthony Davis suffered a concussion on Friday vs. the Nuggets and will not return.

Advice: His night finished with 17 points (7-of-11 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 21 minutes. We don't know the severity quite yet and the timetables for concussions can vary quite a bit, so it's too early to speculate on how much time he will miss. Coach Alvin Gentry loves Dante Cunningham for some reason, but it's possible he turns to Cheick Diallo if Davis misses time. Friday, 9:16 pm
  • Anthony Davis (head) goes to locker room
Anthony Davis went to the locker room on Friday vs. the Nuggets after colliding heads with Nikola Jokic. Friday, 8:59 pm
  • Andre Drummond grabs 15 boards
Andre Drummond scored 11 points with 15 rebounds, five assists, one steal and three blocks in 35 minutes against the Pacers during a 107-100 loss on Friday.

Advice: This was a bad loss for the Pistons with a 22-point lead during the third quarter. As for Drummond, that makes it 15 straight games with 12-plus boards, which puts him one shy of Moses Malone's record of 16 straight games with 12-plus boards to start an NBA season. While Drummond's free throw shooting has dropped from that absurd 77.8 percent he had as of Nov. 7, at least he's been at 50 percent or better in each of his last four games. Drummond is a playing big minutes and has a chance at a 20-15 in almost any matchup. Friday, 6:39 pm
  • Mason Plumlee (core strain) expected to play
Mason Plumlee (core strain) is expected to play on Friday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: He had an MRI and it came back clean, and coach Mike Malone said it's just about him playing through the pain. Plumlee is only a deep-league fantasy asset as he's averaging just 15.4 minutes per game as Nikola Jokic's backup. Friday, 5:50 pm
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) ruled out
Jon Leuer (ankle) is inactive for Friday against the Pacers.

Advice: He hasn't been expected to play all day. With Leuer out, it will likely be Eric Moreland getting the backup center minutes because Domantas Sabonis is active. If Sabonis is limited, maybe we get some Boban Marjanovic action. Friday, 3:35 pm
  • Mike Muscala is questionable
Mike Muscala (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Celtics.

Advice: The Hawks do have Ersan Ilyasova back now and they could always play John Collins at the four in some situations, so they may not need Muscala much. Collins is going to get almost all of the backup center minutes without Muscala as well. Friday, 1:56 pm
  • Mason Plumlee (core strain) is questionable
Mason Plumlee (core strain) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pelicans.

Advice: This is a new injury for Plumlee and it probably happened on Monday with only six minutes against the Blazers. If Plumlee can't play, Kenneth Faried would likely pick up the 10-15 minutes behind Nikola Jokic at center -- Jokic could get in foul trouble against DeMarcus Cousins. Plus, the Nuggets do use two-center lineups at times, so there could be minutes for the perimeter players with Wilson Chandler playing more four at times. Friday, 1:09 pm
  • Mike Muscala (ankle) questionable for Sat
Coach Mike Budenholzer said Mike Muscala (ankle) participated in "70-80 percent of practice" on Friday "could be available" for Saturday's game vs. the Celtics.

Advice: Muscala, who has missed six straight contests for Atlanta, had started five of the previous six games he played prior to the ankle injury. Dewayne Dedmon and John Collins have logged additional minutes in his absence. Friday, 10:57 am
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) doubtful for Friday
Coach Stan Van Gundy said Jon Leuer (ankle) didn't participate in the walkthrough and is doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Pacers.

Advice: This is not surprising after it was reported that Leuer had a "flare up" on Thursday. Leuer has missed six straight games due to the ankle issue. Eric Moreland will continue to serve as Andre Drummond's primary backup at center. Friday, 9:25 am
  • Kings assign Georgios Papagiannis to G-League
The Kings have assigned Georgios Papagiannis to their G-League affiliate.

Advice: Papagiannis, the 13th overall pick in the 2016 draft, is averaging just 2.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 6.3 minutes over four appearances for Sacramento this season. Friday, 6:28 am
  • Ryan Anderson scores season-high 24 points
Ryan Anderson scored a season-high 24 points with four rebounds, one block and six 3-pointers against the Suns on Thursday.

Advice: The Suns forgot to defend the 3-point line and maybe coach Jay Triano should've made a lineup tweak like many coaches do against this starting unit. Anderson was already trending down and now he'll have to give up shots to Chris Paul. His fantasy owners should expect him to be more of a fringe asset in standard leagues. Thursday, 10:24 pm
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) had a flare up
Jon Leuer (ankle) felt tight on Wednesday on and had a "flare up" on Thursday.

Advice: He did not practice today after he did not play on Wednesday. Leuer was available to play, but the tightness kept him out. If he's out again, Eric Moreland could get minutes in the upper teens like his 19 on Wednesday. Thursday, 1:20 pm
  • Tyson Chandler out Thursday and Friday
Tyson Chandler (illness) won't play on Thursday or Friday against the Rockets and Lakers.

Advice: The Suns shut him down for months last season when he was healthy to improve their draft position, so they aren't going to play him at less than 100 percent. It's unclear if Greg Monroe (calf) will make his Suns debut, but Alex Len is in line for a significant workload either way. Thursday, 9:55 am
  • Joel Embiid goes off with 46/15/7 & 7 blocks
Joel Embiid had a career night against the Lakers during a 115-109 victory on Wednesday, scoring a career-high 46 points with 15 rebounds, seven assists, seven blocks, two turnovers and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: He was 14-of-20 from the field and 16-of-19 from the line to give him a ridiculous 81.1 TS% on his 35.8 usage rate. Embiid became the first NBA player to post at least 45 points, 15 boards, seven assists and seven blocks in a game since blocks became an official stat in 1973-74. Fantasy wise, his 93.5 fantasy points are the most this season, and he's not even all the way back yet. After the game, he said he was at about 69 percent of what he's capable of doing, so his fantasy owners should have some very, very nice lines coming their way. As always, Trust The Process. Wednesday, 11:34 pm
  • Caleb Swanigan benched after halftime
Caleb Swanigan started on Wednesday, but he was benched after halftime and finished scoreless with one turnover and no other stats in six minutes.

Advice: Pat Connaughton started the second half instead of Swanigan. Terry Stotts clearly didn't like what he saw early, matchup-wise, and the Blazers leaned on a lot of small lineups tonight. The result was a victory, which doesn't bode well for Swanigan, but we'll see if he can bounce back vs. the Kings on Friday. Wednesday, 10:50 pm
  • Julius Randle gets blocked five times
Julius Randle made 2-of-12 from the field for eight points with eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, three turnovers and six fouls in 30 minutes against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Advice: The poor shooting line was not because he was missing with five blocks against tonight. He did not enjoy his time against Joel Embiid and was blocked by The Process three times tonight -- Richaun Holmes and Amir Johnson also got him once each. Randle is still doing damage with his role as the backup center, so he's still a hold in standard leagues. Wednesday, 10:45 pm
  • Nikola Vucevic double-doubles w/ four dimes
Nikola Vucevic posted his fifth double-double of the season on Wednesday with 11 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Vuc played 31 minutes during tonight's road loss, which is a great sign after he played 27 or fewer minutes in Orlando's previous three games. His 3-pointers have spiked this season but most owners would rather see their center blocking shots, and Vuc is averaging a mere 0.2 swats in his past 10 games. He's been a terrific overall value this year, of course, so we'll cut him some slack. Wednesday, 10:44 pm
  • Robin Lopez struggles in 22 mins Wednesday
Robin Lopez struggled vs. the Thunder with six points on 2-of-6 shooting, two rebounds, one assist and three fouls in 22 minutes.

Advice: Chicago's starters were routed to begin the game and only Lauri Markkanen played 30+ minutes. That led to extra run for backup big man Cristiano Felicio, who chipped in eight points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 18 minutes. RoLo has been good this year but the Bulls are a rebuilding team, so they're unlikely going to give their 29-year-old center heavy minutes all season. Wednesday, 10:04 pm
  • Jonas Valanciunas scores 21 points
Jonas Valanciunas matched his season-high 21 points with six rebounds, two assists, one block and five turnovers in 29 minutes against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Advice: He's played extremely well on defense in his two games against the Pelicans, so that may explain the uptick. This was the first time all season Valanciunas hit double-digit scoring in consecutive games all year. He played just 20.0 minutes per game in his previous games this month, but he's been efficient as a scorer and on the glass. Maybe there's still a chance to buy low on him. Wednesday, 9:09 pm
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) gets healthy DNP-CD
Jon Leuer (sprained left ankle) was available to play on Wednesday but he didn't leave Detroit's bench.

Advice: Leuer is part of a big-man committee for the Pistons, but tonight it was Eric Moreland playing 19 minutes to finish scoreless with nine boards and two blocks. Neither guy is a fantasy asset while Andre Drummond, Tobias Harris and Anthony Tolliver (nine points in 31 minutes) are healthy. Wednesday, 9:06 pm
  • Anthony Davis scores just 19 points
Anthony Davis scored 19 points with five rebounds, one assist, one block, three steals and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes during a 125-116 loss to the Raptors on Wednesday.

Advice: Surprisingly, he hasn't hit 20 points in three of his last four despite playing 34 minutes in each. He was actually good efficiency wise in all of those, but the usage was the problem with his usage rate ranging from 17.8 to 21.7 in this four-game cold streak. Before this, he was below 22 in just one game, but there's still little reason to be worried. AD is a monster this year and he won't need a 30 usage rate to be fantasy's top player if healthy. Wednesday, 8:38 pm
  • Cole Aldrich (ankle) available to play vs. SA
Cole Aldrich (ankle) will be available to play against the Spurs on Wednesday.

Advice: Aldrich probably won't play much more than five minutes tonight, if that. Leave him on the wire. Wednesday, 4:50 pm
  • Cole Aldrich (ankle) is questionable
Cole Aldrich (ankle) is questionable to face the Spurs on Wednesday.

Advice: He was available as an emergency center on Monday, so chances are it's the same story. Gorgui Dieng is not expected to play, but coach Tom Thibodeau has played Taj Gibson at the five to help fill in the frontcourt rotation. Wednesday, 1:12 pm
  • Joel Embiid will play on Wednesday
Updating a previous item, Joel Embiid will still play Wednesday night against the Lakers after missing shootaround.

Advice: He did do some light rehab work on the side, so maybe the 76ers are just taking it easy on Embiid whenever they can. He played a career-high 36 minutes in a thrilling win against the Clippers on Monday, and after the game he said he's not close to 100 percent yet. He may not play 36 minutes tonight, but get him in your lineups in a favorable matchup. Wednesday, 12:56 pm
  • Embiid misses shootaround, expects to play
Joel Embiid did not participate in this morning’s shootaround at Santa Monica High School and he is still scheduled to play in Wednesday's game against the Lakers.

Advice: We don't know if this is injury related, just part of the maintenance plan, or another reason. After Monday's win, Embiid said he's still only around 50 percent to be fully back and he was reportedly still dealing with soreness, so it's possible he was just given the morning off. For now, expect him to be out there, but DFS players may want to proceed with caution on The Process. If he is held out, Richaun Holmes and Amir Johnson would benefit. Wednesday, 12:24 pm
  • Tyson Chandler (illness) questionable vs. HOU
Tyson Chandler (illness) is questionable to face the Rockets on Thursday.

Advice: This is not the same thing as his back injury that kept him out of action last week. If Chandler can't play, the Suns could play Alex Len big minutes, assuming he avoids foul trouble. Greg Monroe is also questionable and could possible suit up. Wednesday, 11:54 am
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) available to play Wednesday
Jon Leuer (ankle) will be available to play Wednesday against Milwaukee.

Advice: He's spent the past five games on the sidelines, so the Pistons may want to ease him back into things with limited minutes. Anthony Tolliver and Eric Moreland might not play as much tonight, but none of these guys can be considered viable targets in most settings. Wednesday, 9:36 am
  • Ryan Anderson scores nine points
Ryan Anderson scored nine points with eight rebounds, one block and two 3-pointers vs. the Raptors on Tuesday.

Advice: He was 3-of-8 from the field and 1-of-2 from the line, and the Rockets were torched when he was on the floor -- he had a +/- rating of -24 in his 31 minutes. Anderson is worth owning for 2.6 triples per game, but that's really all he's bringing to the table right now. Tuesday, 8:15 pm
  • Jarrett Allen (left foot) plays nine minutes
Jarrett Allen (left foot) returned to action on Tuesday vs. Boston with two points, one rebound and one assist in nine minutes.

Advice: Allen missed the past six games, but he's worth keeping an eye on in case his role grows. Timofey Mozgov was benched in favor of Trevor Booker tonight, and it shouldn't be long before Allen passes guys like Mozgov and Quincy Acy on the depth chart. If Allen can eventually carve out a role of 20+ minutes, he could be an excellent source of blocks. Tuesday, 7:18 pm
  • Jarrett Allen (foot) will play on Tuesday
Jarrett Allen (left foot) will play Tuesday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: "The glimpse we've seen, I really like it," said head coach Kenny Atkinson. "Especially defensively, he could really help us - it's good news that he's back." Allen has spent the past six games on the sidelines, so he could be limited tonight, but his return to action could bump Tyler Zeller from the rotation. Allen has a lot of upside for his ability to rack up the swats, but with his playing time being limited to the teens thus far, he can only be viewed as a stash in deep leagues. Tuesday, 2:55 pm
  • Mike Muscala (ankle) doubtful for Wednesday
Mike Muscala (ankle) is doubtful to play Wednesday vs. Sacramento.

Advice: It looks like Wednesday will mark Muscala's sixth straight game on the sidelines, which will translate to more minutes for John Collins. Muscala isn't worth hanging onto in most formats. Tuesday, 1:12 pm
  • Ivica Zubac sent down for G-League stint
Ivica Zubac has been sent down for a G-League stint.

Advice: Zubac isn't a part of the rotation right now, but he could see his role increased towards the end of the season once player development becomes the primary focus in Los Angeles. However, for now, he belongs on the waiver wire just about everywhere. Tuesday, 1:03 pm
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) questionable for Wednesday
Stan Van Gundy said Jon Leuer (ankle) participated fully in practice on Tuesday and is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Milwaukee.

Advice: Leuer has missed five consecutive contests since spraining his ankle back on Halloween. If Leuer is out again on Wednesday, Anthony Tolliver and Eric Moreland will again soak up most of his minutes. Tuesday, 10:58 am
  • Caleb Swanigan will start again on Wednesday
Coach Terry Stotts said Caleb Swanigan would remain in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game vs. Orlando.

Advice: Swanigan made his first career start Monday vs. Denver, sending Noah Vonleh to the bench. Swanigan logged 20 minutes and finished with six points, five rebounds, one assist and two blocks. He'll be an intriguing DFS tournament option on Wednesday, but owners in standard leagues can probably afford to exercise patience and see Swanigan can maintain his starting spot before considering plucking him off the wire. Tuesday, 8:25 am
  • Joel Embiid dominates Jordan in win over LAC
Joel Embiid hit 11-of-20 shots, a 3-pointer and 9-of-16 free throws on his way to a season-high 32 points, a season-high 16 rebounds and two assists in 36 minutes of Monday's 109-105 win over the Clippers.

Advice: DeAndre Jordan was held to two points, five rebounds and a block before fouling out against The Process, and Embiid simply got it done tonight. He took a flagrant foul from backup Willie Reed, but held his composure and played a great game. Yeah, a steal or block would have been nice, but we challenge you to find anyone who doesn't trust The Process right now. He should be primed for another big night on Wednesday against the other L.A. team, as the Sixers visit the Lakers next. Monday, 10:48 pm
  • Nikola Jokic quiet in loss to Blazers
Nikola Jokic hit just 2-of-9 shots and a 3-pointer for six points, seven boards, three assists, three steals and a block in 35 minutes of Monday's loss to Portland.

Advice: The shooting, points and rebounds were a bit disappointing, but he still came through with a 3-pointer, the steals and a block. He's one of the best fantasy centers alive, although he has shown the ability to disappear at times this season. He's fine, so just keep rolling him out there. Monday, 10:15 pm
  • Paul Millsap drains five treys in loss
Paul Millsap hit 6-of-16 shots and a season-high five 3-pointers for 18 points, five rebounds, a steal and a block in 34 minutes of Monday's 99-82 loss to the Blazers.

Advice: Millsap has been a bit disappointing this season, but has been Mr. Consistency in his last four games, scoring 17, 17, 16 and 18 points while averaging 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.5 steals, 2.8 blocks and 1.5 3-pointers in that span, shooting 44 percent. Millsap appears to be coming on and the fact he knocked down five triples is icing on the cake. Hopefully his slow start will be a distant memory in a couple weeks. Monday, 10:09 pm
  • Nikola Vucevic scores 20 in loss to GSW
Nikola Vucevic hit 7-of-13 shots and 4-of-4 free throws for a team-high 20 points in Monday's 110-100 loss to the Warriors.

Advice: The Warriors have been generous to opposing centers all season with the fourth most fantasy points allowed, so Vucevic took full advantage of their undersized frontcourt. He added five rebounds with four assists, one steal and two triples in 27 minutes, and he's still rolling right along with top-24 value in standard 9-category leagues. With Orlando looking like a playoff team, we see no reason to sell-high. Monday, 10:02 pm
  • Caleb Swanigan scores six points in start
Caleb Swanigan moved into the starting lineup on Monday vs. the Nuggets, scoring six points with five rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 20 minutes.

Advice: Making his first career start, Swanigan racked up five fouls, but he played well for the most part. The Blazers haven't gotten a lot of production from guys like Moe Harkless and Noah Vonleh, so there's a chance Swanigan sticks in the first unit. Owners in most leagues can monitor his progress from the wire while we see how the rotation develops. Monday, 9:25 pm
  • Julius Randle plays just 19 minutes
Julius Randle scored eight points with eight rebounds, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes against the Suns on Monday.

Advice: After logging at least 21 minutes in each of his last three, Randle saw his playing time drop a tad in this win. He hasn't even played a minute next to Brook Lopez in the last five games and he's only played 15 minutes next to Andrew Bogut in that span, so coach Luke Walton hasn't really adjusted Randle's role after the Larry Nance (hand) injury. He's still a fine hold in standard leagues. Monday, 9:15 pm
  • Tyson Chandler scores seven with 15 boards
Tyson Chandler scored seven points with 15 rebounds, two assists and no turnovers in 28 minutes against the Lakers on Monday.

Advice: That's 28 minutes in back-to-back games for the former Defensive Player of the Year. Chandler closed this game out and he's made all four of his shots from the field in his last two games. The Suns are likely going to keep playing him decent minutes in the 2017 portion of this season, so he may have some short-term value. Monday, 8:52 pm
  • Anthony Davis plays through back scare
Anthony Davis played through an apparent back injury on Monday and hit 5-of-7 shots for 13 points, 10 rebounds, seven dimes, two steals and four blocks in 38 minutes of a 106-105 win over the Hawks.

Advice: He slipped on a mop and appeared to tweak his back, but stayed on the court. The 13 points were easily a season low for a full night of work, although he also had a two-point game when he played just five minutes on Oct. 24. He's always an injury risk but he's been able to stay on the court for all but two games early in the season, so now we just have to hope his back feels good when he wakes up in the morning. He should be fine.. Monday, 7:53 pm
  • Caleb Swanigan starting, Vonleh to bench
Caleb Swanigan is starting on Monday vs. Denver, sending Noah Vonleh to the bench.

Advice: Interesting. Swanigan has only played in three out of five games in November, but the Blazers are looking to shake things up after a two-game losing streak. We'll let you know how Swanigan fares with the starting lineups, and deep-league owners will want to watch him closely. Monday, 6:58 pm
  • Cole Aldrich available in emergency
Cole Aldrich will be available as an 'emergency' center on Monday night with Gorgui Dieng out again with a finger injury.

Advice: With Karl-Anthony Towns handling most of the center minutes this evening, we certainly hope there isn't an emergency that would force Aldrich into action. Aldrich is dealing with a sprained ankle and has played a grand total of 10 minutes this season. Monday, 6:11 pm
  • Mike Muscala (ankle) ruled out Monday
Mike Muscala (ankle) won't play on Monday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: This is Muscala's fifth game on the shelf and he could miss more time as well. Dewayne Dedmon and John Collins will have their hands full with DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis, while Luke Babbitt will see more minutes as well. Nov 13, 4:22 pm
  • Jarrett Allen (foot) practices in full Monday
Jarrett Allen (left foot) was a full participant during Monday's practice.

Advice: Allen said he "went hard" at practice and felt "little foot pain," which is encouraging regarding his status for Tuesday's game against the Celtics. He's currently being listed as questionable and will be re-evaluated on Tuesday, so owners can expect to get another update following shootaround. If he is able to get back out there, Quincy Acy's minutes will take a hit and Tyler Zeller could drop from the rotation entirely. Nov 13, 11:58 am
  • Ryan Anderson posts hollow line vs. Pacers
Ryan Anderson had made 2-of-7 shots with one 3-pointer to finish Sunday's win in Indiana with five points, nine rebounds (four offensive), and zero assists, steals or blocks.

Advice: Beyond his 2.8 triples per game, which bolsters his appeal, Anderson is averaging a modest 11.8 points, 5.5 boards, 0.8 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.5 blocks. He's shooting 43.4% from the field, and even his solid free throw shooting (85.7%) barely helps due to a career-low 1.1 attempts per game. As usual, he's little more than a 3-point specialist. Nov 12, 5:32 pm
  • Andre Drummond grabs 17 boards vs. Heat
Andre Drummond made 3-of-8 FGs and 2-of-4 FTs for eight points on Sunday, but he added a game-high 17 rebounds, four assists and one block in 36 minutes.

Advice: The Pistons didn't lose during their five-game homestand, improving their record to an impressive 10-3, trailing only the red-hot Celtics in the East. Drummond now has at least 12 rebounds in every game this season, putting him in Moses Malone territory, and he's holding onto top-25 roto value even with his FT% slipping on a nightly basis. Nov 12, 4:15 pm
  • Mike Muscala (ankle) doubtful Monday vs. NO
Mike Muscala (ankle) is doubtful to play Monday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: This will be Muscala's fifth straight game on the sidelines which will translate to more run for Dewayne Dedmon, John Collins and Luke Babbitt. Muscala isn't worth owning in most leagues. Nov 12, 1:50 pm
  • Cole Aldrich (ankle) questionable for Monday
Cole Aldrich (sprained left ankle) is questionable to face the Jazz on Monday.

Advice: He's not in the rotation, so whether he plays or not is irrelevant in fantasy hoops. Nov 12, 1:36 pm
  • Jon Leuer (ankle) out Sunday vs. the Heat
Jon Leuer (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Heat.

Advice: This will be No. 5 on the sidelines for Leuer, and there haven't been many reports of him making much progress, so he should be considered questionable at best for Wednesday's game in Milwaukee. Anthony Tolliver and Eric Moreland will continue to see an uptick in minutes sans Leuer, but that doesn't mean much in fantasy hoops. Nov 12, 11:31 am
  • Tyson Chandler returns to action
Tyson Chandler (back) scored four points with six rebounds and two blocks in 28 minutes against the Wolves on Saturday.

Advice: After a couple games off, Chandler looked fine despite not being announced as a starter until right before tip. Chandler will eventually lose minutes once the Suns fall out of it and he could be a buyout candidate, as well. He may have some short-term value in deeper leagues. Nov 11, 10:45 pm
  • Nikola Jokic puts up 12/17/9 in win
Nikola Jokic scored 12 points with 17 rebounds, nine assists, one block, four steals and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes against the Magic on Saturday.

Advice: Another double-double to get Jokic to No. 6 in rebounds per game, and Jokic also gets back in the 50/40/90 club for FG%, 3P% and FT%. Jokic is only behind DeMarcus Cousins for assists from centers. The Nuggets are starting to play a little faster, so there will be plenty more monster stat lines on the way from the Serbian big man. Nov 11, 9:35 pm
  • Richaun Holmes goes for 11 & 6 in loss
Richaun Holmes played 21 minutes and hit 3-of-4 shots for 11 points, seven rebounds and zero blocks off the Sixers' bench on Saturday.

Advice: The line was about garbage time, but the takeaway here is Amir Johnson was a DNP-CD and Holmes is way ahead of him. His upside as a handcuff makes him worthy of a hold in several leagues. Nov 11, 9:17 pm
  • Joel Embiid cools off for Sixers
Joel Embiid hit just 4-of-11 shots for 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 25 minutes of Saturday's loss to the Warriors.

Advice: The good news is he played. The bad news is that his knee is sore and he didn't exactly kill it last night. He's probably going to be day-to-day for a while and now might be a good time to sell high on the superstar, if you feel like his knee is going to hold him back. Nov 11, 9:11 pm
  • Robin Lopez scores 17 in blowout loss
Robin Lopez finished with 17 points, four rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot across 28 minutes in Saturday's loss at San Antonio.

Advice: Lopez was a very efficient 8-of-11 from the field, which was like night and day from his 1-of-7 disappearance on Friday night against Indiana. It's uncertain if his sore knee was bugging him Friday, but he certainly looked to be back to 100 percent health in Saturday's game. Truth be told, the blowout and extra rest in the second half probably did him some good. Nov 11, 8:47 pm
  • Anthony Davis goes off yet again vs. Clips
Anthony Davis scored 25 points with 10 rebounds, six assists, two blocks, two steals and one turnover in 40 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: He's just incredible and is racking up the stats all over the place, averaging 26.7 points, 11.5 boards, 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals, 2.2 blocks and 1.1 treys on 58.2 percent from the field and 79.1 percent from the line on the season. Davis' usage rate has dropped to 25.7 this year, but who cares when he's at a beautiful 66.3 TS%? He is fantasy basketball's No. 1 player right now. Stay healthy, big man. Nov 11, 7:28 pm
  • Tyson Chandler, Tyler Ulis listed as starters
Tyler Ulis, Devin Booker, T.J. Warren, Marquese Chriss and Tyson Chandler will start against the Wolves on Saturday.

Advice: It's a big shake up with Ulis unseating Mike James and Chandler returning to action after missing two games. Alex Len should still get 20-25 minutes tonight, so he's still a hole. We'll let you know how Ulis does, but clearly the Suns want to get him going after a rough start. Nov 11, 6:10 pm
  • Cole Aldrich (sprained left ankle) out
Cole Aldrich (sprained left ankle) will dress but will not play against the Suns on Saturday.

Advice: Aldrich is not in the rotation right now. Nov 11, 5:50 pm
  • Tyson Chandler game time; Jared Dudley out
Tyson Chandler (back) is a game-time decision and Jared Dudley (knee) is out against the Wolves on Saturday.

Advice: We saw Alex Len get 40 minutes on Friday, so he could be looking at big minutes again. With Jared Dudley out, Dragan Bender would likely see more run if Chandler is out as well. Nov 11, 4:21 pm
  • Mike Muscala (ankle) out again on Saturday
Mike Muscala (ankle) will not play against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: He did travel with the tea, but he'll be held out for his fourth straight. Dewayne Dedmon got himself into foul trouble on Friday, but he still managed a solid 13-point line in 22 minutes. John Collins should get all of the other backup center minutes and Luke Babbitt will likely start again. Nov 11, 2:47 pm
  • Game notes have Chandler as probable
The game notes have Tyson Chandler (back) listed as probable and Jared Dudley (knee) questionable for Saturday against the Wolves.

Advice: As we always say, trust the process, but don't trust the game notes. Even if Chandler does play, you could say it's a positive that Alex Len won't have to guard Karl-Anthony Towns to start the game. We're considering Chandler questionable. Nov 11, 12:10 pm
  • Jarret Allen out again on Saturday
Jarrett Allen (foot) will not play against the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: The Nets are pretty much giving him the Caris LeVert treatment from last year and they'll continue to hold him out until he's 100 percent for a long period of time. Allen can be dropped in most leagues, but he could become a hot pickup once he's back. Nov 11, 11:38 am
  • Robin Lopez struggles in Friday's home loss
Robin Lopez (knee) was in the lineup against Indiana on Friday, but he managed just three points on 1-of-7 shooting across 28 minutes.

Advice: Lopez was able to grab five rebounds with three assists and two blocked shots, but he certainly was struggling at the offensive end. It was a complete turnaround from his time out in Toronto when he hit 10-of-11 from the floor. Despite the ugly shooting performance it appears safe to plug him back into the active lineup if you reserved him due to his sore knee. Nov 10, 8:09 pm
  • Andre Drummond dominates with 16/20/7 line
Andre Drummond turned in a career-high seven assists against the Hawks during a 111-104 win on Friday, adding 16 points, 20 rebounds and two blocks in 37 minutes.

Advice: He was also 4-of-6 from the line and hit two big free throws in the fourth. Drummond also has tied the second-most games with 12-plus rebounds to start a season in the last 40 years (Mose Malone 16, tied with Kevin Love). The Pistons are playing elite defense and offense this year, and are flying high with their 9-3 record. Drummond's strong preseason was no fluke and he's becoming a monster in DFS. Nov 10, 7:05 pm
  • Robin Lopez (sore knee) will play Friday
Robin Lopez (sore knee) will play Friday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: Lopez missed Wednesday's practice but was back at it on Thursday. RoLo has been one of the more pleasant fantasy surprises this seasons. He is currently averaging 15.3 points with 6.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 blocks. He's even knocked down a couple of 3-pointers. Nov 10, 10:30 am
  • Nikola Jokic adding 3-point shot to arsenal
Thanks to diligent offseason work, Nikola Jokic is off to a scorching start from behind the 3-point arc.

Advice: Jokic made 45 treys last season over 71 games, while shooting 32.4 percent from downtown. Over the summer, he focused on improving his long-range game, and the results have been impressive. Jokic has already knocked down 19 triples over his first 11 games and is shooting 41.3 percent. "Watching him work on his game, I’m not surprised by the success that he’s having," said coach Michael Malone. The addition of a reliable 3-point shot increases Jokic's already substantial fantasy value. Nov 10, 8:01 am
  • Nikola Jokic scores 15 with 11 rebounds
Nikola Jokic scored 15 points with 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday.

Advice: The Nuggets second unit came to the rescue in this game, so Jokic couldn't match his 41-point masterpiece from Tuesday. He added yet another double-double and he's consistently been dominant on the defensive glass. Jokic and Dwight Howard are the only two players in the NBA with at least a 20 usage rate, a 20 rebounding percentage and at least 30 minutes per game, so his upside is as high as anyone for how often he can add stats. Oh and he's a decent passer. Nov 9, 11:01 pm
  • Paul Millsap posts 17/7/5 line with 6 blocks
Paul Millsap scored 17 points with seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and six blocks in 40 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday.

Advice: He's back to being the Millsap we saw a couple years ago. The Nuggets played him at center in this game and he's really been racking up the stats lately. Over the last five, Millsap averaged 17.4 points, 4.2 boards, 3.6 assists, 1.8 blocks, 1.8 steals and 1.0 treys. That buy-low window is just about closed. Nov 9, 10:54 pm
  • Kosta Koufos scores eight with 12 boards
Kosta Koufos scored eight points with 12 rebounds, three assists and one block in 21 minutes against the 76ers on Thursday.

Advice: It seemed to be pretty clear coach Dave Joerger wanted some extra size in there to limit the 76ers inside. Koufos is getting some decent minutes when he's been healthy, but there just isn't enough long-term upside to use in most leagues. Nov 9, 10:00 pm
  • Amir Johnson gets seven minutes
Amir Johnson scored three points with two rebounds and one steal in seven minutes against the Kings on Thursday.

Advice: He did play some minutes in the fourth quarter as he and Richaun Holmes battle it out for the backup center minutes. Holmes should eventually win the job, so there's very little incentive to hold Johnson in almost any league. Nov 9, 9:36 pm
  • Richaun Holmes doesn't score in Thursday
Richaun Holmes did not score with one rebound and one assist in nine minutes against the Kings on Thursday.

Advice: He didn't play well with a couple fouls and he also had some foul trouble on Tuesday during his start against the Jazz. Holmes impressed during his season debut on Friday, but he's trended down since. Still, he should be viewed as the best handcuff in all of fantasy hoops and he should start to produce once he can clearly beat out Amir Johnson. Embiid's owners almost have to hold him and maybe now they can trade for him on the cheap. Nov 9, 9:33 pm
