  • John Henson plays 19 minutes vs. HOU
John Henson played 19 minutes against the Rockets on Wednesday with four points, five rebounds, one steal and one block.

Advice: He was right at his monthly average in playing time, but there has been a slight downward trend. Henson hasn't really been in foul trouble too often, but his play has really taken a turn for the worse. He'll be in a great spot on Friday against the Magic, so a bad game there may be the final straw for his patient owners. Rotoworld.com 25 minutes ago
  • Marco Belinelli scores 13 pts on 5-of-8 FGs
Marco Belinelli made 5-of-8 shots on Wednesday with one 3-pointer, finishing with 13 points, five boards, three assists and one steal.

Advice: Belinelli came in shooting an abysmal 28.3 percent in January. He missed five games in late December and early January, and coach Steve Clifford suggested that he was still struggling because he's "such a rhythm player." He finally gained some traction tonight, but isn't really worth owning unless you need 3-pointers in a deep league. Rotoworld.com 39 minutes ago
  • Nicolas Batum notches 17/7/7 in win vs. POR
The Hornets snapped their five-game losing streak on Wednesday, aided by Nicolas Batum's 17 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

Advice: Batum leads the Hornets with 7.4 rebounds per game, and he's also posting career-best numbers in scoring (15.0 points per game) and assists (5.8). He's flirting with second-round value over the past month, despite a recent shooting slump, and he's a good bet to finish in the top-50 for roto. Rotoworld.com 40 minutes ago
  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist anchors strong defense
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist finished Wednesday's game with nine points (3-of-7 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal in 31 minutes.

Advice: "We have to get ourselves right. We have to get back to what we've been for four years," coach Steve Clifford said recently. "Defense first, compete on every play, play smart." The defensive end is MKG's wheelhouse, and he helped Charlotte hold the Blazers to just 85 points on 35.1 percent shooting tonight. He may never be a great asset offensively, but he's worth a look if you need boards and some defensive stats. Rotoworld.com 42 minutes ago
  • Al-Farouq Aminu chips in across the board
Al-Farouq Aminu shot just 2-of-7 for seven points on Wednesday, but he also had seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Moe Harkless had a similarly subtle line, with nine points, three assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer. Mason Plumlee added 10 boards, eight points and three swats tonight, but the end result was another defeat. The Blazers are 6-16 over the past six weeks and they've fallen a full game behind Denver for the No. 8 seed. Rotoworld.com 45 minutes ago
  • Otto Porter scores 25 points with six treys
Otto Porter made a career-high six 3-pointers to help him get to 25 points against the Grizzlies on Wednesday, adding seven rebounds, one steal and no turnovers in 34 minutes.

Advice: The 3-pointers have been a trend for Porter lately. In his last 13 games, he's averaged 2.7 treys, 16.4 points, 5.2 boards, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks on 55.9 percent from the field -- good for a 69.0 true shooting percentage. He's been a top-15 player in that span and on the season overall, too. Porter is arguably the best value pick in fantasy this season. Rotoworld.com 56 minutes ago
  • Nerlens Noel (left ankle) quiet in return Wed
Nerlens Noel (sprained left ankle) returned on Wednesday with five points, three rebounds, three turnovers and zero assists, steals or blocks in 21 minutes.

Advice: Noel missed Monday's game but his return confirms that it was a minor sprain, as the Sixers typically err on the side of caution with injuries. He's usually far more productive on a per-minute basis, so his owners should forgive him tonight's dud. Expect better vs. the Blazers on Friday. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:38 pm
  • Ersan Ilyasova scores 18 pts, makes three 3s
Ersan Ilyasova drained three 3-pointers and 7-of-14 shots overall on Wednesday, finishing with 18 points, five boards, two assists and zero turnovers in 24 minutes.

Advice: Ilyasova has been putting in extra work on his shot after practices lately, and it paid off tonight. He's been an unlikely success story since joining the Sixers this season, establishing top-100 value with averages of 14.2 points, 2.1 triples, 6.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.3 blocks. The bad news is that Ben Simmons' return looms over him, and Dario Saric is playing well lately, so his rest-of-season outlook isn't the best. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:33 pm
  • Jared Sullinger plays 14 minutes in debut
Jared Sullinger looked good during his season debut on Wednesday, making 4-of-10 shots to finish with eight points, three rebounds, and no other stats in 14 minutes.

Advice: The Raptors are going to be very cautious with Sullinger, as they were with DeMarre Carroll, and he'll be subject to limited minutes and occasional DNP-CDs until further notice. He should play both PF and backup C once he's up to speed, but most owners shouldn't stash him just yet. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:20 pm
  • Chandler Parsons has another terrible game
Chandler Parsons didn't do much in his 19 minutes against the Wizards on Wednesday, scoring six points with two rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He was just 1-of-6 from the field to drop him to just 36.7 percent from the field on the season. Parsons has been an unmitigated disaster for his fantasy owners to this point and has barely been a top-300 player per game on the season. If there is anything promising out there, it makes some sense to drop Parsons. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:04 pm
  • Anthony Davis returns to action vs. Magic
Anthony Davis (left thumb, left hand sprain, right hip) returned to action on Wednesday.

Advice: X-rays were negative on his left hand and he should be OK. Hopefully, he can stay healthy for the rest of the game tonight. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:57 pm
  • Tim Hardaway Jr. will come off the bench Weds
Tim Hardaway Jr. will come off the bench Wednesday vs. the Pistons.

Advice: The Hawks will roll out a starting five featuring Dennis Schroder, Thabo Sefolosha, Kent Bazemore, Paul Millsap and Dwight Howard (rest), but Hardaway should still be able to flirt with minutes in the 30s regardless of how he enters the game. He's been averaging 16.9 points and 2.9 triples per contest through the month of January, so he's worth owning while he's this hot. Rotoworld.com Today, 4:47 pm
  • Kyle O'Quinn will start Wednesday vs. Boston
Kyle O'Quinn will move into the starting five for Wednesday's game against the Celtics, with Joakim Noah (ankle) unavailable.

Advice: O'Quinn is about as hit-or-miss as they come, but with Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles), Lance Thomas (orbital fracture) and Noah all on the sidelines Wednesday night, he's sure looking at a good amount of opportunity. He's someone to consider throwing out there as a streamer or DFS punt play. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:49 pm
  • Confirmed: Anthony Davis will play Wednesday
Anthony Davis (right hip, left thumb) will play Wednesday vs. the Magic, as expected.

Advice: Davis looked fine while going through his pregame routine, and there's been no discussion of a minutes restriction, so his owners can feel free to fire him up. Alvin Gentry may have had the quote of the year during his pregame interview, stating, "AD will play hurt. He's played hurt since the day he got here." Yup. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:40 pm
  • Evan Fournier (heel, foot) out for Wednesday
Evan Fournier (heel, foot) will not play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Advice: He tried to return from a heel injury last week and apparently it's caused additional problems to his foot due to compensation. Fournier's owners obviously have to stash him. Jodie Meeks should play minutes around 30 while Elfrid Payton has also been terrific without Fournier lately. Meeks is worth a look in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:35 pm
  • Jon Leuer will not play on Wednesday night
Jon Leuer (knee) will not play against the Hawks on Wednesday night.

Advice: The Pistons will hold him out for his fifth game. With Leuer and Kentavious-Caldwell Pope (shoulder) out, the Pistons will have to play Reggie Bullock, Stanley Johnson and Aron Baynes more than usual. Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris also slightly benefit. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:25 pm
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) will not play at PHI
Patrick Patterson (knee) will not play against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Advice: His knee injury has kept him to just two games in 2017. Luckily for the Raptors, they have Jared Sullinger (foot) back for limited minutes -- he's likely only going to play 10-15 minutes tonight. The Raptors will also likely go smaller tonight while Pascal Siakam could play 20 minutes. None of these guys mentioned are worth using in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:17 pm
  • Jared Sullinger will make season debut in PHI
Jared Sullinger (foot) will make his season debut and play limited minutes against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Advice: Wow. This comes as a surprise after Sullinger was cleared for practice on Jan. 13. He's coming off a foot surgery and chances are his conditioning isn't 100 percent yet. Sullinger will likely have a minutes limit for the foreseeable future, so he's only worth a pickup in deeper leagues right now. His upside isn't the greatest. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:09 pm
  • Lance Thomas (face) out Wednesday vs. BOS
Lance Thomas (left orbital fracture) will not suit up for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.

Advice: Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) and Joakim Noah (ankle) will also be on the sidelines Wednesday night, so Mindaugas Kuzminskas will be looking at another start, with Kyle O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez splitting minutes at the five. Kuzminskas put up 14 points, five boards, one trey, two dimes and two steals his last time out, so he's someone to consider throwing out there as a low-budget DFS target. Thomas isn't worth owning anywhere. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:07 pm
  • Joakim Noah (ankle) will not play Wednesday
Joakim Noah (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Celtics.

Advice: The 31-year-old center also needs an MRI. He has a sore left ankle and didn't go through shootaround. Noah has been surprisingly healthy lately, but he could miss additional time going forward given his track record. With him out, Kyle O'Quinn should get a bump in minutes and the same goes for Willy Hernangomez. If you need a big man, KOQ is worth a pickup. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:03 pm
  • Noel will play; Embiid still questionable
Nerlens Noel (ankle) will play against the Raptors on Wednesday.

Advice: Joel Embiid (illness) is still questionable to play. Noel should be looking at minutes in the low 20s regardless of Embiid's status. Jahlil Okafor could be getting minutes in the upper 20s or he could be a DNP-CD. Noel is worth owning in standard leagues right now. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:18 pm
  • Darrell Arthur is doubtful to play
Darrell Arthur (knee) is doubtful to play against the Spurs on Thursday.

Advice: He did not play on Tuesday due to his oft-injured knee. With Wilson Chandler (personal) listed as out, there could be plenty of minutes going to Kenneth Faried and even Juan Hernangomez. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:03 pm
    Injured

  • Wilson Chandler (personal) is listed as out
Wilson Chandler (personal) is listed as out for Thursday against the Spurs.

Advice: Being listed as out isn't the same thing as being out, so hopefully we get another update on Thursday before the road game. Kenneth Faried has played really well in the first unit, which has cost Chandler some playing time. He's still worth owning, though. If he is indeed out, Faried, Jusuf Nurkic and Juan Hernangomez could play more. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:56 pm

  • Jared Dudley expected to be back
Jared Dudley (illness) is expected to be available against the Cavs on Thursday.

  • Blake Griffin about a week or two out
Coach Doc Rivers said Blake Griffin (knee) is still about 1-2 weeks away from his return.

Advice: That means he'll be on the back end of his 4-6 week timeline from back on Dec. 20. Griffin is starting to do some on-court work and ran some sprints before Saturday's game. The Clippers may have a tough time winning games with Chris Paul (hamstring) also out. Raymond Felton and Austin Rivers should be carrying the offense. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:07 am

  • Report: OKC turned off by Rudy Gay's agency
The Thunder have reportedly been turned off by Rudy Gay joining the Roc Nation Sports agency.

Advice: This is the same agency that represents Kevin Durant, and according to Sam Amick of USA Today, OKC management partly blames the Roc Nation agency for the departure of Durant. Amick speculates that a trade sending Gay to Miami in some sort of Goran Dragic package is more likely, although Pat Riley may prefer to wait for Gay to hit free agency rather than unload assets to grab him for half a season now. In terms of fantasy hoops, Miami would be a decent landing spot, but this is all speculation at the moment. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:04 am
  • Jon Leuer (knee) a game-time decision vs. ATL
Jon Leuer (knee) will be a game-time call for Wednesday's matchup with the Hawks.

Advice: Leuer did get in a full practice on Tuesday and participated during shootaround, and head coach Stan Van Gundy acknowledged that he could return to action tonight, so things are trending in a positive direction here. If Leuer does get back to the court, Tobias Harris will return to the bench and Stanley Johnson could lose some minutes. Check back closer to tip-off for an official update. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:32 am
  • Reggie Bullock will start Wednesday vs. ATL
Reggie Bullock will remain in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Hawks, with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) unavailable.

Advice: Bullock logged 29 minutes in a start on Sunday, but only managed to tally four points, one rebound, one assist and one steal. Yes, he's starting, but that doesn't make him a viable target in most settings. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:21 am
  • Anthony Davis (hip, thumb) says he'll play
Anthony Davis (right hip, left thumb) said that he will play Wednesday vs. Orlando.

Advice: Davis really likes going up against the Magic, in eight career outings against Orlando he owns impressive averages of 18.8 points, 13.4 boards, 1.4 dimes, 1.4 steals and a whopping 4.1 swats per contest, so he's on the radar as a potential DFS target. Just check back for official confirmation on his status closer to tip-off. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:12 am
  • Drummond, Baynes will play Wednesday vs. ATL
Andre Drummond (knee) and Aron Baynes (knee) will play Wednesday vs. the Hawks.

Advice: Drummond and Baynes both sat out Tuesday's practice with some knee soreness, but neither injury was ever believed to be serious, so there's no reason to anticipate any sort of minutes restrictions tonight. Feel free to get Drummond active for tonight's battle of the bigs with Dwight Howard. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:04 am
  • Nerlens Noel (ankle) probable for Wednesday
Nerlens Noel (ankle) is probable to play Wednesday vs. Toronto.

Advice: Noel got in a full practice on Tuesday and said that he was planning on suiting up for Wednesday's game, so it's looking like the ankle issue will only end up costing him one game on the sidelines. Joel Embiid (illness) could miss tonight's game, which would present both Noel and Jahlil Okafor with the opportunity for some extended minutes. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:45 am
  • Joakim Noah (ankle) questionable Wednesday
Joakim Noah (sore left ankle) did not go through shootaround and he is questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) is also questionable to play, and if neither guy is able to give it a go, Kyle O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez would likely pick up most of the five-man minutes in New York. O'Quinn is about as hit-or-miss as they come, and as a starter this season he owns averages of 8.5 points, 8.8 boards and 0.8 blocks per game, so he's basically just a streamer if he gets the start. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:14 am
  • Jon Leuer, KCP questionable for Wednesday
Jon Leuer (knee) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) are being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

Advice: Leuer was able to practice on Tuesday, while KCP was not, so Leuer likely has a much better chance of returning to the court on Wednesday. If he is able to get back out there it'll be interesting to see if he's immediately re-inserted back into the starting five, or if Stan Van Gundy eases him back into things after spending four games on the sidelines. Either way, Stanley Johnson's minutes will likely take a slight hit with Leuer back in the fold. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:16 am
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) out Tuesday vs. BKN
Patrick Patterson (sore left knee) will not play Tuesday vs. the Nets.

Advice: This will be his third straight game on the sidelines, and his absence essentially ensures that Lucas Nogueira will get another start at the four-spot. Nogueira is worth owning as a shot blocking specialist in most leagues, while Patterson isn't worth a roster spot almost anywhere. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:50 pm
  • Fournier, Biyombo questionable for Wednesday
Evan Fournier (heel) and Bismack Biyombo (knee) are being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.

Advice: Fournier missed five straight games with this same injury earlier this month, and that wasn't enough time off to get himself right, so he could miss more time this time around. Considering he's only sat out the past two, we feel he's much closer to doubtful for Wednesday's game, but we should get another update after shootaround. Biyombo had a nasty fall on Monday, and while he played through it, it looks like the knee swelled up on the flight to New Orleans. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:26 pm
  • Anthony Davis (hip, thumb) questionable Weds
Anthony Davis (right hip, left thumb) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Magic.

Advice: Davis hit the ground hard on Monday, and given that he tends to be a slow healer, we feel he's probably a bit closer to doubtful for Wednesday's game. If he's out, Terrence Jones would likely move back into the starting five, and there would be more minutes available for Donatas Motiejunas, while Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans would be tasked with more offensive responsibilities. Check back for another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:47 am
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play Tuesday
Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play Tuesday vs. the Lakers.

Advice: This will be the third consecutive game Arthur has missed due to his latest knee pain. Kenneth Faried started and played a season-high 33 minutes on Monday. The Manimal will likely see extra minutes on Tuesday as well due to Arthur's absence. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:54 am

  • Noel (ankle) expects to play Wednesday
Nerlens Noel (ankle) said he expects to play Wednesday vs. the Raptors.

Advice: "It's still a little sore, but I definitely should be able to go [Wednesday]," said Noel after practice on Tuesday. Noel had been playing well prior to injuring his ankle on Saturday, which forced him to sit out Monday's game. If Noel is available, coach Brett Brown will have a tough decision to make. Does he send Jahlil Okafor back to the bench to collect DNP-CD's, or limit Noel's minutes as the sole center on the second unit? Stay tuned... Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:49 am
  • Jon Leuer (knee) practices on Tuesday
Jon Leuer (bruised knee) practiced with the team on Tuesday.

Advice: Leuer has missed each of the Pistons last four games, but is obviously close to a return. He is expected to be listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Atlanta. With Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) sidelined, Leuer may be in line to see additional minutes if he plays and is healthy enough to handle them when he returns. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:06 am
  • Andre Drummond (knee) misses practice Tuesday
Andre Drummond (knee sprain) did not practice with the team on Tuesday, but reportedly "will be fine."

Advice: Drummond sprained his knee on Sunday, which caused him to leave the game for a brief period. However, he did return, finishing with 15 points and 17 rebounds in 32 minutes. It sounds like the absence from Tuesday's practice is purely precautionary, as Pistons beat writer Rod Beard tweeted that Drummond is "fine." Thus, we expect Drummond to suit up Wednesday vs. the Hawks. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:05 am
  • Darrell Arthur (knee): Tuesday status unknown
The availability of Darrell Arthur (knee) for Tuesday’s game at the L.A. Lakers is unknown.

Advice: Arthur missed his second consecutive game due to left knee soreness on Monday. He has missed a total of 10 games this season as a result of knee issues. "He only knows one speed," coach Mike Malone said. "When we (practice) hard he goes hardest. And his knee has a hard time withstanding that pounding. So I almost have to try to protect him from himself at times." Kenneth Faried played a season-high 33 minutes on Monday and would get a boost on Tuesday if Arthur is out. • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist hits 3-of-11 in loss
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist hit just 3-of-11 shots for six points and nine rebounds in Monday's 108-98 loss to the Celtics.

Advice: He was coming off a big 12 & 12 double-double with four assists, a steal and a block on Friday, but hit just 2-of-6 shots in that one, saving his scoring line by hitting eight free throws. MKG is still a borderline player to own in standard leagues, because he's just as likely to let you down as he is to surprise you. He's averaging 7.6 points and 9.8 rebounds on 35 percent shooting over his last five games, meaning that Friday's game was pretty much a fluke. Rotoworld.com Monday, 7:03 pm
  • Nicolas Batum just misses trip-dub in loss
Nicolas Batum had eight points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, a steal and two blocks on 2-of-11 shooting in Monday's MLK Day 108-98 loss to the Celtics.

Advice: Batum has been back for two games since returning from a knee injury and is averaging 13.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks in them. He hit 7-of-14 shots on Friday, but never got it going offensively tonight, missing 9-of-11 shots and costing himself a triple-double. He's a must-start in fantasy as long as he's playing for the Hornets. Teammate Kemba Walker had the same issue, hitting just 8-of-21 shots for 24 points, two assists and three 3-pointers. Rotoworld.com Monday, 6:52 pm

  • Wilson Chandler scores nine off Denver bench
Wilson Chandler came off the bench in Denver victory over Orlando and finished with nine points (on 4-of-12 shooting), eight rebounds, three assists, two turnovers, one 3-pointer and a steal.

Advice: Kenneth Faried slid into the starting lineup on Monday, which limited Chandler impact. It was actually the first time all season Chandler played fewer than 23 minutes. Wilson had been hot coming into Monday (averaging 17.4 points and 5.8 boards in 31.1 minutes over his last five games), so Monday's game can be viewed as a blip on the radar for the time being... • John Henson plays 26 minutes in loss
John Henson played 26 minutes on Monday vs. the 76ers, scoring eight points on 3-of-8 shooting.

Advice: The Bucks needed his defense against the one they call The Process, so he reached 26 minutes for the just the second time in over a month. Henson did a respectable job and grabbed five rebounds with four assists and two blocks, but we'll need to see him do this a couple times in a row before recommending an add in standard leagues. Greg Monroe still looks like the center you want to own. Rotoworld.com Monday, 3:49 pm
  • Anthony Davis (hip, thumb) doubtful to return
Anthony Davis (right hip, left thumb) is doubtful to return to Monday's game against the Pacers.

Advice: The good news here is that the X-rays taken on his thumb and hip both came back negative, so it appears AD has avoided a serious injury. He was barely able to walk to the locker room, so it would be quite shocking to see him return to the game today. He'll end his evening with 16 points, three rebounds and three assists. Terrence Jones is going to be the primary beneficiary if Davis is forced to miss any additional time, so he's a solid pickup in any setting. Rotoworld.com Monday, 3:12 pm
  • Anthony Davis (back) heads to the locker room
Anthony Davis (tailbone) is headed to the locker room.

Advice: Davis tried to posterize Myles Turner on a dunk attempt, but Turner did not let that happen, and Davis hit the floor hard. He was writhing in pain on the ground for roughly a minute, and while he stayed in the game to knock down his free throws, he went straight back to the locker room after knocking them down. Davis was barely able to walk on his way back to the locker room, so it seems unlikely he'll be able to return to this one. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Monday, 2:38 pm
  • Otto Porter looks fine in his return
Otto Porter looked 100 percent in a win over the Blazers on Monday, scoring 12 points with four rebounds, one steal and three 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Advice: The hip strain from over the weekend clearly didn't bother him in this easy win. Porter has been arguably the best fantasy draft pick this season and is in the mix for Most Improved Player. Rotoworld.com Monday, 2:36 pm
  • Wilson Chandler will come off the bench Mon
Wilson Chandler will come off the bench for Monday's game against the Magic.

Advice: Kenneth Faried will get the start in what is likely a matchup based move, but Chandler tends to get his numbers regardless of how he enters the game, so his value won't take much of a hit with the second unit. Feel free to get him active for a favorable matchup with the Magic. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:34 pm

  • Tim Hardaway Jr. scores 20 points vs. NY
Tim Hardaway scored 20 points in a start against the Knicks on Monday, adding three rebounds, four assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Advice: Revenge game? Hardaway Jr.'s team got a big win at MSG to make them 9-1 in their last 10. Even though he may not start going forward, Hardaway Jr. has been terrific since the Kyle Korver trade. While he may be traded as a restricted free agent this summer, he has to be owned in standard leagues with his recent play. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:22 pm
  • Joakim Noah scores seven points in loss
Joakim Noah scored seven points with 17 rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks in 33 minutes against the Hawks on Monday.

Advice: This comes on the second half of a back-to-back set, which is way more playing time than he's played previously with 21.8 minutes per game on no rest. Noah will likely see a dip in playing time at some point for a number of reasons, so he's only worth a look in 14-team leagues with his recent solid play. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:06 pm
  • Evan Fournier (heel) out Monday vs. Denver
Evan Fournier (heel) will not suit up for Monday's game against the Nuggets, as expected.

Advice: He's currently without an official timetable to return, and it sounds like there's a good chance he'll spend the entire week on the sidelines. Jodie Meeks will draw the start in his place, and Elfrid Payton, Aaron Gordon, Serge Ibaka and Nikola Vucevic will join him in the starting five. Rotoworld.com Monday, 12:47 pm
  • Nerlens Noel (ankle) out Monday vs. MIL
Nerlens Noel (sprained left ankle) will not play Monday vs. the Bucks.

Advice: He did sprain it on Saturday and was able to return, so for now we'll be considering him questionable for Wednesday's game against Toronto. With Noel on the sidelines, Jahlil Okafor will serve as Joel Embiid's primary backup, but he'll likely be working with a 20-minute workload making him an unattractive target in most settings. Noel should remain owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Monday, 12:30 pm
  • Revenge: Tim Hardaway Jr. will start vs. NYK
Tim Hardaway Jr. will move into the starting lineup for Monday's game vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Revenge game! Dwight Howard is resting, so the Hawks are going to go small with Paul Millsap at center. THJ was already trending up before this news with averages of 16.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 3.0 triples per game in January, so give him a look if those numbers mesh well with your fantasy team. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:50 am
  • Otto Porter (hip) will play on Monday
Otto Porter (hip) will play on Monday vs. the Blazers.

Advice: He looked fine during the morning shootaround and he previously said that he was going to play. Porter has been a top-20 stud in standard leagues and his owners will want to make sure he's active, even he's not 100 percent. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:24 am
  • Lance Thomas (orbital fracture) out Monday
Lance Thomas (left orbital fracture) will not play on Monday vs. the Hawks.

Advice: Thomas has cleared the concussion protocol, but he will have to get fitted for a mask to protect his orbital fracture and he's considered to be out indefinitely. Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) is a game-time call and will slide back into the starting lineup if he's cleared, but Mindaugas Kuzminskas is looking at a larger role off the bench in the short term and is worth keeping an eye on in deeper formats. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:25 am
  • Andre Drummond hits rare 3-pointer Sunday
Andre Drummond briefly exited Sunday's game with a right leg injury, but he returned to finish with 15 points, 17 rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block in 32 minutes.

Advice: Drummond appeared to injure the knee or lower part of his right leg, but he was no worse the wear after returning and we'll leave him off the injury report. He wasn't very efficient tonight, hitting 6-of-17 FGs and 2-of-5 FTs, but he managed to sink a 3-pointer for the second time this season and fifth time in his career. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:47 pm
  • Reggie Bullock quiet as fill-in starter
Reggie Bullock started for the short-handed Pistons on Sunday, but he committed five fouls in 29 minutes to finish with four points, one rebound, one assist and one steal.

Advice: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) and Jon Leuer (knee) were both out tonight, and the Pistons didn't want to go big with Aron Baynes in a matchup vs. the Lakers. Bullock's playing time was robust, considering his foul trouble, and he's just a short-term option in deeper leagues while KCP is out of commission. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:35 pm
  • Rudy Gay double-doubles vs. Thunder
Rudy Gay scored 22 points with 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes on Sunday against the Thunder.

Advice: This was his second consecutive double-double and his fourth of the season. He continues to have a nice January, averaging 35.4 minutes, 19.4 points, seven rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game. There is no reason to think he will slow down any time soon. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:16 pm
  • Andre Drummond exits w/ right leg injury
Andre Drummond exited Sunday's game with an apparent right leg/knee injury, but he has since returned to the Pistons' bench.

Advice: Drummond exited early in the third quarter and had a limp as he walked into the locker room, so we'll consider him questionable to return. Aron Baynes and Boban Marjanovic would gain the most if Drummond misses any time. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:03 pm
  • Jon Leuer will not play Sunday vs. Lakers
Jon Leuer (knee) won't play vs. the Lakers on Sunday.

Advice: Leuer was listed as doubtful and this shouldn't come as a surprise to any owners. Aron Baynes, Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris will continue to pick up the slack until Leuer gets back on the court. Consider him questionable to return vs. the Hawks on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 5:21 pm
  • Lance Thomas w/ facial fracture, doubtful Mon
Lance Thomas has been diagnosed with a left orbital fracture and concussion-like symptoms, and he's doubtful to play on Monday.

Advice: The fractured bone is near Thomas' left cheek, and with concussion symptoms it would be shocking to see him in uniform for Monday's game. Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Justin Holiday should pick up minutes in Thomas' probable absence, and Holiday looked very good on Sunday with 17 points, three 3-pointers and three boards off the bench. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 3:05 pm
  • Lance Thomas (head) will not return Sunday
Lance Thomas (head) will not return to Sunday's game against the Raptors.

Advice: With both Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) and Thomas on the sidelines, Mindaugas Kuzminskas is going to see some increased opportunity while Carmelo Anthony will likely be forced into heavy minutes as he and Derrick Rose take turns dominating the offense. For now, we'll consider Thomas questionable for Monday's matchup with the Hawks. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 12:53 pm
  • Lance Thomas (head) questionable to return
Lance Thomas took an elbow to the face via Jonas Valanciunas on Sunday, and he is questionable to return.

Advice: Thomas needed to be helped off the floor, and there's a chance he may have suffered a concussion. We should have more info soon, but if he's unable to get back out there tonight, Mindaugas Kuzminskas will see a healthy heaping of minutes. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 12:23 pm
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) out Monday vs. Magic
Darrell Arthur (knee) will not suit up for Monday's game against the Magic.

Advice: It's always something with this guy, and Monday will mark his second straight game on the sidelines. Kenneth Faried and Jusuf Nurkic will likely split his limited minutes, which doesn't mean all that much. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 11:48 am
    Injured

  • Reggie Bullock will start Sunday vs. Lakers
Reggie Bullock will move into the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Lakers, with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) unavailable.

Advice: This likely means that Aron Baynes is headed back to the bench. Bullock is a solid defender, but a pretty low usage rate guy, so he's not all that attractive of an option despite the increased opportunity as a starter. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 11:39 am
  • Jon Leuer (knee) doubtful Sunday vs. Lakers
Jon Leuer (knee) is being listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Lakers.

Advice: Leuer was able a limited participant during shootaround, and while he's hopeful that he'll be able to give it a go, we're not all that optimistic. Stan Van Gundy said that Reggie Bullock will draw the start if Leuer can't give it a go, so it'll be interesting to see if Tobias Harris sticks in the starting five. For now, we're going to consider Leuer questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hawks. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 11:23 am
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) won't play Sunday
Patrick Patterson (sore left knee) will not play Sunday vs. the Knicks.

Advice: He will miss his second game in a row, but the Raptors are likely being cautious based on coach Dwane Casey's comments earlier in the week. With Patterson out, the Raptors are going to roll with Lucas Nogueira at the four, but that might not be ideal if the Knicks start Lance Thomas in place of Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles). Nogueira had 10 points, nine rebounds, four blocks and two assists in his last start. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 10:57 am
  • Evan Fournier doesn't have a timetable
Evan Fournier (heel, foot) doesn't currently have a timetable to return.

Advice: "I was compensating a lot, so now it’s more than just the heel," Fournier said. "It’s just the bottom of the foot, period. It’s frustrating, man. I could probably keep playing like this, but it’s not getting any better and I’m playing [at] like 60 percent [of my ability]." This is the same injury that sidelined him for five games in a row earlier in the season, so don't expect him to play on Monday vs. the Nuggets or Wednesday vs. the Pelicans. His owners just need to hold onto him for now, while Jodie Meeks is worth a look if you need a short-term boost in triples and points. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:24 am
  • Jared Sullinger won't set a return date
Jared Sullinger (foot) said he won't set a return date despite being cleared for practice.

Advice: "My main focus is just trying to get my legs back under me," Sullinger said. "I feel like everybody else is in tip-top shape and I’m just lagging. I can’t keep up with [Jakob Poeltl] off the dribble, so, I got a lot of work to do." He added that he has "no lungs" right now, so it's going to take him a while to get into shape. Sully is going to be limited right out of the gate, so he's more of a stash in deeper leagues for now. He will eventually be the starting power forward. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:19 am
  • Otto Porter says he should be OK for Monday
Otto Porter (hip) said he should be ready to play on Monday.

Advice: In case you missed it, he had a right hip strain today and did not return. Porter did have this injury before in this season and even before that, so the Wizards likely just played it safe. After all, they were up pretty big in the fourth quarter. For now, expect him to be a go against Portland. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:11 pm
  • Nerlens Noel gets into some foul trouble
Nerlens Noel was in some foul trouble against the Wizards on Saturday, finishing with six points, 12 rebounds and three turnovers in 13 minutes.

Advice: He also sprained his left ankle and did return after he was re-taped. Obviously this was a letdown with Joel Embiid (rest) not playing, but it's not likely to affect his playing time because the 76ers won five of their last six, assuming he's healthy. He should be owned in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:45 pm
  • Otto Porter questionable to return vs. Sixers
Otto Porter (hip) is questionable to return to Saturday's game due to a strained right hip.

Advice: He dealt with hip issues in November, so this is definitely something worth monitoring. Prior to exiting the game, he scored 10 points with six rebounds, one assists and one steal. Kelly Oubre and Sheldon McClellan will both get a boost if Porter misses any time. Oubre could be worth a look as a speculative add in competitive leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:58 pm
  • Anthony Davis scores 36 points in return
Anthony Davis scored 36 points in his return to the lineup during a 107-99 loss to the Bulls on Saturday, adding 14 rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks in 39 minutes.

Advice: After missing one game due to a hip contusion, Davis had some protective padding in this game. After maybe some rust early, Davis went off in the second half with 23 points and nine boards in 21 minutes. He gets a great matchup in Indiana on Monday afternoon. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:27 pm
  • Evan Fournier (foot) could miss road trip
Evan Fournier (foot, heel) could miss the remainder of the Magic's road trip due to the concern of his foot and heel injuries.

Advice: On top of being out Saturday, he could be out Monday and Wednesday. The interesting thing here is that it sounds like he has problems in two different areas on his right foot. His heel injury was a problem at the end of last month and cost him five games, so he could be looking at a similar amount of time off due to the aggravation. In the meantime, go ahead and add Jodie Meeks in competitive leagues for short-term value. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:09 pm
  • Evan Fournier (foot) out, Jodie Meeks starts
Evan Fournier (foot) will not play against the Jazz on Saturday and Jodie Meeks will start in his place.

Advice: Fournier is still battling through his heel injury from earlier this month and he just hasn't been right. The Magic are wisely going to rest him up to get him right, and hopefully he should be OK for Monday against the Nuggets. Meeks is worth a look as insurance in deep leagues while Mario Hezonja is on the radar in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:34 pm
  • Blake Griffin doing some running
Blake Griffin (knee) ran light sprints along the sideline at Staples Center during warm-ups on Saturday.

Advice: He is coming along nicely and remains on his 4-6 week timetable. Griffin has been taking some shots and there has been no sign of a setback. It may be a handful of games before he's back to his old self, but his owners may get him back within the next week. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 12:40 pm
    Injured

  • Anthony Davis will play, has no restriction
Anthony Davis (hip) will play on Saturday and does not have a minutes restriction.

Advice: He did some work on Friday and said there was a "high probability" he would play today, so he should be all set. Davis absolutely exploded before his hip injury in the third quarter on Tuesday, scoring 40 points with 18 boards in the partial game. He makes sense on a light DFS night. Meanwhile, we'll see who starts next to him, but Terrence Jones is still worth owning for now. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 12:36 pm
  • Evan Fournier (foot) questionable vs. Jazz
Evan Fournier (sore right foot) is questionable to play against the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: He really doesn't look right since returning from his heel injury. In those five games, Fournier averaged 11.8 points, 3.6 boards, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 treys on 36.1 percent from the field. On a back-to-back set, it makes a lot of sense to just rest him before a revenge game in Denver on Monday. If he is out, Jodie Meeks would be thrust into the starting lineup while Mario Hezonja could add to his renewed role in the rotation. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 11:19 am
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) questionable for Sun
Patrick Patterson (sore left knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Patterson returned to play two games earlier this week but was then forced to sit out Friday night, although coach Dwane Casey said that it is more of a precaution. Lucas Nogueira started in place of Patterson on Friday, finishing with 10 points and nine rebounds in 30 minutes. Pascal Siakam or Norman Powell could also see increased minutes, based on matchups, if Patterson misses more time. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:16 am
  • Noel playing well with Sixers second unit
Nerlens Noel has found his groove as a key contributor on the Sixers consistent and productive second unit.

Advice: Over the Sixers last seven games, Noel is averaging 10.1 points (on 63.3 percent shooting), 4.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.1 blocks and 0.6 turnovers. The combo of Noel backing Joel Embiid has worked well for Philly, who have won five of their last six games. The loser in the scenario is Jahlil Okafor, who continues to be slapped with DNP-CD's. Noel has made his case as 'roster worthy' in all standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:40 am
  • Joakim Noah playing his best ball of season
Joakim Noah has been hampered by a sore shoulder over the last 10 days, but is still playing his best basketball of the season.

Advice: In the 11 games the Knicks have played since Christmas, Noah is averaging 11.1 rebounds and 8.0 points (on 57.4 percent shooting). And despite dealing with a nagging shoulder issue, Noah feels there is still plenty of room left for improvement. "I feel like I can still do better," Noah said. "I feel like there’s another level that I want to get to and have to keep pushing and getting better." Noah will likely see more minutes if Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) continues to miss time. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:59 am
  • Rudy Gay scores 23 points in loss to Cavs
Rudy Gay scored 23 points with 10 rebounds, two assists, four blocks and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Cavs on Friday.

Advice: After all the time off due to a hip injury, Gay has turned it up over his last four. In that span, he averaged 18.8 points, 6.3 boards, 2.5 assists, 1.8 blocks, 1.3 steals and 1.8 treys. He should feast the rest of the way while he's on the Kings roster, but the trade rumors and rest will be a pain for his owners. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:50 pm
  • Andre Drummond grabs 19 rebounds in loss
Andre Drummond scored nine points on 3-of-7 shooting with 19 rebounds, one assist and one steal vs. the Jazz on Friday.

Advice: He was held to single-digit points for just the second time in his last 12 games, but that's what happens when you go up against the Stifle Tower (Rudy Gobert). Look for him to bounce back in a dream matchup with the Lakers on Sunday. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:40 pm
  • Chandler Parsons struggles once again
Chandler Parsons made 1-of-7 from the field for five points with two rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes against the Rockets on Friday.

Advice: No revenge game here, folks. He attempted five shots from deep to drop him to just 11-of-47 (23.4 percent) on the season. He said he was also worried about his plus/minus, but he had the team-low -11 tonight. Parsons has been a disaster this season, so we obviously don't blame you on cutting him. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:33 pm
  • Reggie Bullock returns from 25-game absence
Reggie Bullock returned from a 25-game absence on Friday vs. the Jazz and scored seven points on 3-of-6 shooting with two rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Advice: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) was out and the game was a blowout, but it was still a surprise to see Bullock log a season-high 26 minutes right out of the gate. Coach Stan Van Gundy loves him and the Pistons don't have great depth, so maybe he earns some minutes going forward. Most fantasy owners can ignore him for now. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:28 pm
  • Tim Hardaway Jr. scores 23 points
Tim Hardway Jr. scored 23 points with two rebounds, two assists, one block, three steals and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes against the Celtics on Friday.

Advice: We have a four-game sample on Hardaway post-Kyle Korver and it's going well. In those four, he averaged 17.0 points, 3.0 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.3 treys. That's good enough to make him a top-50 player in that span. Yeah, he won't be this good, but he has to be picked up in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:37 pm
  • Nerlens Noel blocks four in 20 minutes
Nerlens Noel blocked a season-high four shots against the Hornets on Friday, adding six points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes.

Advice: His jumper has actually been a story this season with another made J at the top of the key during this one. Noel is running the floor really well and his defense hasn't been too much of a drop off from Joel Embiid -- Jahlil Okafor's certainly was. As long as Embiid is limited to 28 minutes, Noel should have minutes close to 20, which should be enough value to use in standard leagues. There could be more minutes for Noel on Saturday with Embiid out. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:55 pm
  • MKG puts up a double-double
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 12 points during a 102-93 loss to the 76ers on Saturday, adding 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 35 minutes.

Advice: Marco Bellineli may have turned in his worst game of the season with five turnovers and Jeremy Lamb (foot) didn't play, so Kidd-Gilchrist had a clear path for minutes. Even with some injuries to put MKG in a terrific position over his previous five, he only averaged 8.0 points, 8.4 boards, 1.8 assists and 0.8 steals. He's more of a borderline player to own in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:48 pm
  • Nicolas Batum picks up where he left off
Nicolas Batum didn't skip a beat after missing the last week, scoring 19 points with five rebounds, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes on Friday.

Advice: He was really aggressive early and only needed two FGAs to get to his eight points to start, which was more than half of the Hornets' 14 at that point. Batum did let Kemba Walker run the offense a little more often, which may have been due to the matchup. The Frenchman should be able to flirt with early-round value going forward. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:41 pm
  • Marco Belinelli doesn't benefit without Lamb
Marco Belinelli scored six points with four rebounds, one assist, two steals and five turnovers in 22 minutes against the 76ers on Friday.

Advice: He surprisingly didn't really benefit with Jeremy Lamb (foot) out of the lineup. Coach Steve Clifford used a little Ramon Sessions at the two and we even saw Treveon Graham get first-half minutes. Leave Belinelli on the wire for now. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:39 pm
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) will not play Friday
Patrick Patterson (knee) will not play Friday against the Nets.

Advice: Coach Dwane Casey said that it is more of a precaution. He didn't exactly look right with 21 minutes and going scoreless on Tuesday. Against Trevor Booker at the four, the Raptors could be looking at Lucas Nogueira as the starter. They could also go with more small-ball lineups against the fastest team in the NBA. Rotoworld.com Friday, 2:52 pm
  • Nic Batum, Cody Zeller do not have minute cap
Nicolas Batum (knee) and Cody Zeller (illness) will not have a minutes limit against the 76ers on Friday.

Advice: To be clear, just because they don't have a minutes limit doesn't mean they will be back to their normal playing time. After Batum missed the last week for a bone bruise, he may only be in the upper 20s tonight. Although, he did practice on Thursday and should be close to 100 percent. He should be in all lineups for season-long leagues and is in play for DFS. Rotoworld.com Friday, 2:43 pm
  • Reggie Bullock unlikely to play
Reggie Bullock (personal) is unlikely to play on Friday against the Jazz.

Advice: He is back with the team and there is a chance he plays. If he doesn't, Stanley Johnson would be looking at big minutes. Rotoworld.com Friday, 12:49 pm
  • Anthony Davis has 'high probability' to play
Anthony Davis (hip) said there is a "high probability" that he will play Saturday against the Bulls.

Advice: "I feel better. I was able to do some movements today," Davis said. "Able to go through practice. Of course it wasn’t that much [in terms of strenuous activity], but I feel a lot better." Based on the quote, he's not all the way back and we still have to see how he feels tomorrow. If Davis does return, it'll be interesting to see if coach Alvin Gentry goes with more Terrence Jones, who should be owned in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 12:45 pm
  • Jared Sullinger cleared for practice
Jared Sullinger (foot) has been cleared for practice.

Advice: This is a huge step in his recovery. Sullinger is starting to get shots up and now it looks like he can take on more contact. The Raptors have essentially jettisoned Pascal Siakam in the rotation, so the starting spot is Sullinger's to lose once he can play in games. That said, there won't be much usage available for him, he doesn't block shots and his minutes will be managed for a long time, so he's only a pickup in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 12:09 pm
  • Chandler Parsons wants a good plus/minus
Chandler Parsons said he's figuring out ways to help the team and "have a good plus/minus" while he's out there.

Advice: Score one for the stat nerds! "These last two or three games are something to build on," Parsons said. "It’s tough trying to be efficient and to be aggressive playing within the offense." He scored a season-high 14 points on Wednesday and may wind up playing 20 minutes soon. It's still going to be a while before Parsons is turning in usable value, but he's a fine stash. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:26 am
  • Nicolas Batum (knee) will play on Friday
Nicolas Batum (knee) will play and start Friday vs. the Sixers.

Advice: After practicing Thursday, Batum was listed as probable, so this is simply confirmation that he'll suit up on Friday night. Batum is one of only four players averaging at last 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists per game this season. Jeremy Lamb (toe) is out, so Marco Belinelli will see an uptick in minutes backing up Batum. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:11 am
  • Joakim Noah dealing with a sore shoulder
Joakim Noah is dealing with discomfort in his sore right shoulder.

Advice: Noah has been wincing in pain on occasions during games and often has his shoulder wrapped in ice when he's on the bench. "He’s had it looked at," coach Jeff Hornacek said. "There’s just some little stuff in there. When he lifts his arm in one certain way he feels it catch." Asked about his shoulder, Noah said, "It’s fine." Although his offensive output has been frustratingly inconsistent, Noah is averaging 11.1 rebounds over the Knicks last 11 games. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:55 am
  • Noel 'definitely satisfied' w/ role on Sixers
Nerlens Noel has settled into his role as Joel Embiid's primary backup, and has played his best basketball of the season.

Advice: "At this moment in time, I'm definitely satisfied with where I'm at and the team's rotation," Noel said. Over the Sixers last six games, Noel is averaging 10.8 points (on 60 percent shooting) 4.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 20.5 minutes. Meanwhile, Jahlil Okafor has been a DNP-CD in four of the Sixers last five contests. Noel possesses intriguing, especially considering the Sixers are actively trying to trade a big man to clear up the logjam in the frontcourt. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:27 am
  • Lance Thomas struggles in start vs. Bulls
Lance Thomas hit 2-of-9 shots for four points with two rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes on Thursday against the Bulls.

Advice: Thomas got the start for the injured Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles), but was inefficient and outplayed but Mindaugas Kuzminskas. If Porzingis remains sidelined, Thomas will continue to play significant minutes, but can be left on the waivers in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:06 pm
  • Joakim Noah double-doubles vs. Bulls
Joakim Noah scored 12 points with 15 rebounds, one assist and one block in 27 minutes on Thursday night against Chicago.

Advice: Noah came out to play vs. his former team, finishing one rebound shy of tying his season high of 16 boards in a game. He is playing through a sore shoulder, but it did not appear to be affecting him in tonight’s matchup. His minutes are inconsistent, but Noah is a good source of rebounds and can help fantasy owners who are struggling in that category. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:59 pm
  • Kyle O’Quinn double-doubles vs. Bulls
Kyle O’Quinn scores 12 points with 11 rebounds, four blocks and three assists in Thursday’s win over the Bulls.

Advice: O’Quinn played just 16 minutes despite Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) being out, but he was still able to record his fifth double-double of the season and his second consecutive one. It is not surprising to see him be productive in limited time, as he has done it several times before. O’Quinn has some short-term fantasy appeal, if Porzingis misses any more games and on nights when Joakim Noah is resting. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:50 pm
  • Reggie Bullock expected back w/ team
Coach Stan Van Gundy said that Reggie Bullock (personal) will rejoin the Pistons on Friday in Salt Lake City.

Advice: Bullock who has missed the last 25 games with a torn meniscus, was attending a family matter and is expected to be back with the team on Friday. He can be left on waivers, as he will likely not have a big role in the Pistons rotation. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 6:30 pm
  • Lance Thomas will start on Thursday night
Lance Thomas will start on Thursday night for Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles).

Advice: He should be looking at heavy minutes with Mindaugas Kuzminskas backing him up. KP shouldn't be out for long, so Thomas is only worth a look in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:15 pm
  • Anthony Davis (hip) will not play on Thursday
Anthony Davis (hip) will not play on Thursday against the Nets.

Advice: After Kyle O'Quinn fouled AD and sent him into the stands, Davis has been dealing with some soreness since then. This doesn't sound like a serious injury for Davis and he could play Saturday against the Bulls. With him out, coach Alvin Gentry should be rolling with Terrence Jones in the starting lineup or could use Donatas Motiejunas. TJ will be a popular DFS play while we should see more Solomon Hill, Dante Cunningham and perhaps some of the centers. Maybe we'll see some Cheick Diallo. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 3:39 pm
  • Wilson Chandler scores 21 in 32 minutes
Wilson Chandler scored 21 points in 32 minutes against the Pacers on Thursday, adding eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He likes playing overseas and tore it up in China during the NBA lockout season. After a sub-par finish to his 2016, Chandler is rolling in 2017 with averages of 17.4 points, 5.8 boards, 2.4 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.0 treys. He is a bit of a sell-high player due to trade rumors and being injury prone. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 2:44 pm

  • Nicolas Batum (knee) is probable for Friday
Nicolas Batum (knee) is probable to play against the 76ers on Friday.

Advice: After going through practice on Thursday, Batum sounds like he's ready to roll. His right knee hyperextension only cost him two games to this point. Batum was on fire to end 2016, but he's made just 35.7 percent from the field in 2017. Obviously you'll want to get him back in your lineup. Marco Belinelli and Jeremy Lamb would take a hit. • Mudiay, Harris, Gallo, Chandler & Jokic start
Emmanuel Mudiay, Gary Harris, Danilo Gallinaro, Wilson Chandler and Nikola Jokic will start against the Pacers on Thursday.

Advice: The Nuggets go back to their usual starting lineup with most of their depth set for this one -- Darrell Arthur (leg) is out. Chandler should be looking at minutes in the low 30s, assuming his illness doesn't limit him. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:59 am

  • Wilson Chandler will play in London
Wilson Chandler (illness) will play in London against the Pacers on Thursday.

Advice: He popped up on the injury report earlier today and it sounds like he's good to go. He'll obviously be a risky DFS play because he may not be able to finish the game. With Darrell Arthur (leg) out, Chandler has a good chance to start. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:39 am

  • Darrell Arthur will not play on Thursday
Darrell Arthur (leg) will not play against the Pacers on Thursday.

Advice: The Nuggets are somewhat healthy besides Arthur, so he wasn't a lock to be in the rotation anyway. Kenneth Faried could see some minutes at power forward tonight. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:30 am
    Injured

  • Patrick Patterson (knee) misses practice
Patrick Patterson (knee) did not practice on Thursday.

Advice: He still has minute restrictions, so this was likely a rest day. Patterson moved into the starting lineup on Tuesday vs. Boston, but failed to score in 21 minutes. Standard-league owners can do better and Patterson's outlook isn't great due to the eventual return of Jared Sullinger (foot). Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:28 am
  • Nicolas Batum (knee) returns to practice
Nicolas Batum (knee) returned to practice on Thursday.

Advice: His status for Friday's game vs. Philly is still up in the air, but he should return to game action any day now. Jeremy Lamb averaged 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in Batum's absence, but he will lose most of his value when Batum returns. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:28 am
  • Darrell Arthur (leg) questionable Thursday
Darrell Arthur (leg) is questionable for Thursday's game for the Pacers.

Advice: Of course he is. Nikola Jokic is returning from an illness anyways, so Arthur will be irrelevant in most fantasy leagues with his move back to the bench. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:42 am
    Injured

  • Wilson Chandler (illness) is questionable
Wilson Chandler (illness) is questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Pacers.

Advice: It feels like half the NBA is dealing with an illness right now including a few players on the Nuggets. We've seen studs like Jimmy Butler and Giannis Antetokounmpo post duds while playing through an illness, so Chandler will be very risky in DFS if he suits up. Danilo Gallinari (ankle) was originally questionable, but he's now expected to play and should benefit if Chandler sits. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:26 am

  • Evan Fournier struggles in 25 minutes
Evan Fournier struggled throughout Wednesday's 105-96 loss to the Clippers, going just 3-of-8 from the field for eight points, two rebounds, two assists and two turnovers in 25 minutes.

Advice: Beat writer Josh Robbins speculated that Fournier's heel injury might still be an issue, but foul trouble took a toll and he still played the final eight minutes. He also looked very good on Sunday (19 points in 34 minutes) and was coming off two days of rest. We'll let you know if there's a hint of injury concern, but for now owners should start him with confidence vs. the Blazers on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:21 pm
  • Chandler Parsons scores season-high 14
Chandler Parsons scored a season-high 14 points against the Thunder on Wednesday, adding one steal in 18 minutes.

Advice: He missed all three from deep to drop him to just 23.8 percent on the season, which is getting close to almost 20 percentage points worse than his 41.4 percent last season. The good news is Parsons started the third quarter, so his restriction is getting softer. He should be better, but it'll be a while before his owners can trust him. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:27 pm
  • Otto Porter: 20 efficient points w/ full line
Otto Porter made 9-of-12 shots to finish Wednesday's game with 20 points, six rebounds, five assists and three 3-pointers in a tough loss at Boston.

Advice: Porter added a pair of 3-pointers with zero turnovers in 37 minutes. This is a perfect encapsulation of his fantasy value -- efficient scoring, low turnovers, and across-the-board value including 3-pointers and defensive stats. He's a roto goldmine and isn't a slouch in points leagues, either. We're halfway through the season and there's no reason to think he'll regress. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:13 pm
  • Blake Griffin doing much better
Coach Doc Rivers said Blake Griffin (knee) feels great and his 4-6 week timetable is still accurate.

Advice: "All things are good for him," Rivers said. Griffin has been getting some shots up and is coming along just fine. He was ruled out for 4-6 weeks back on Dec. 20, so it's possible he's back this month. The Clippers will likely manage him upon his return, so Griffin may not be himself until the All-Star break. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:46 pm

  • Nerlens Noel gets 13 points, eight rebounds
Nerlens Noel put together a nice game on Wednesday, scoring 13 points on 5-of-8 FGs and 3-of-4 FTs with eight rebounds, two steals and one assist.

Advice: It's a strong return for fantasy owners since Noel played just 21 minutes tonight. Interestingly, he knocked down two jumpers at the top of the key tonight and is now a combined 7-of-10 on shots 15-24 feet from the hoop this season. Regardless of his shot locations, Noel is a promising guy to own with Jahlil Okafor racking up DNPs and the Sixers likely to trade away one of their young centers. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:17 pm
  • Kyle O'Quinn double-doubles w/ full line Wed
Kyle O'Quinn racked up 10 points, 15 rebounds and three assists for his fourth double-double of the season on Wednesday, despite playing just 24 minutes off the bench.

Advice: KOQ had a double-double after just 11 minutes on the court, and he rounded out a big evening with two steals, two blocks and some impressive interior defense. It's hard to trust him as a fantasy asset, however, because he hasn't played 20+ minutes in consecutive games since Joakim Noah was out in early December. Let's see what he does on Thursday before burning a transaction on him. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:09 pm
  • Joakim Noah logs 20 minutes vs. Philly
Joakim Noah finished Wednesday's game with seven points (3-of-6 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), six rebounds, two steals, one block and zero turnovers in 20 minutes of action.

Advice: Noah had a wrap on his right shoulder when he wasn't playing, and admitted recently that the surgically-repaired shoulder is "always there" as a background concern. The slumping Knicks recently held a team meeting to discuss their issues, and they may need to meet a few more times after tonight's disastrous 98-97 loss to the Sixers. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:06 pm
  • Rudy Gay scores 11 points in win
Rudy Gay scored 11 points on 3-of-11 shooting in Tuesday's win over the Pistons.

Advice: He managed to play 38 minutes despite picking up five fouls, adding seven rebounds, four assists, one block, three steals and one 3-pointer. The Kings are 9th in the West with a 16-22 record and the Blazers are 8th with a 17-23 record, so the Kings may be tempted to hold onto Gay past the trade deadline because it's no secret that they're desperate to get into the postseason. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:43 pm
  • Andre Drummond blocks seven shots in loss
Andre Drummond hit 4-of-5 shots and 1-of-6 free throws for nine points, 12 rebounds, three steals and a season-high seven blocks in Tuesday's 100-94 loss to the Kings.

Advice: His previous season high was four blocks, so he nearly doubled that up tonight. He came in on fire, scoring 28 points with 14 rebounds in back-to-back games, and the seven swats helped make up for the lack of points tonight. He had also been shooting free throws pretty well in January, hitting 8-of-11 over his last four games, but couldn't get the freebies to drop tonight. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:34 pm
  • Al-Farouq Aminu grabs 15 rebounds in win
Al-Farouq Aminu grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds with eight points in Tuesday's win over the Lakers.

Advice: He also matched his season high in blocks (3), adding four assists and one triple in 29 minutes. Aminu is trending up and has played well in five straight games, averaging 11.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.2 blocks, 0.8 steals and 1.2 3-pointers in that span. He's now worth owning in standard leagues after a slow start to the season. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:07 pm
  • Marco Belinelli scores 15 with six dimes
Marco Belinelli, who had hit just 3-of-30 shots over his last three games, hit 6-of-13 and three 3-pointers for 15 points, three rebounds and six assists in Tuesday's loss to the Rockets.

Advice: Belinelli will see some extra looks and minutes as long as Nicolas Batum is out with a knee injury, but a timeshare with Jeremy Lamb is going to hurt him. Belinelli was playing fairly well before going down with a sprained ankle and this is the first time he's looked good since returning four games ago. If you need a shooting guard who can hit 3-pointers and hand out assists, Belinelli might be worth a flier right now. But he'd be a little more enticing if he was starting for Batum, and not Lamb. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:06 pm
  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist fails to score
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist missed all six of his shots and failed to score in Tuesday's loss to the Rockets.

Advice: He did have six rebounds, four assists and a block, but this was just a tough night for MKG. He came in hot, racking up games of 12 & 9, 8 & 13 and 14 & 11 rebounds in his previous three games. He just couldn't get his shot to fall tonight and is worthy of just an 11th-round fantasy pick right now, according to Basketballmonster.com. He's worth owning in most leagues, but 9.2 points and 7.2 rebounds with no 3-pointers to speak of isn't ideal. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:48 pm
  • Jon Leuer (right knee) will miss next 4 games
Jon Leuer (right knee) will miss the next four games for the Pistons.

Advice: He was diagnosed with a bone bruise, but the earliest we will see him back on the court is on Jan. 18 vs. the Hawks. Outside of deeper leagues, Leuer's owners should evaluate other options. Tobias Harris will likely stick in the starting lineup for at least the next week. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:08 pm
  • Patrick Patterson starting, Powell to bench
Patrick Patterson is starting on Tuesday vs. Boston, sending Norman Powell to the bench.

Advice: This is Patterson's first start of the season, but he's really just in there for his defense and floor spacing. As long as his shot is falling, Patterson is a low-end option in most formats. The PF position will be fluid from game to game until Jared Sullinger (foot) returns. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 4:26 pm
  • Nicolas Batum (knee) will not play Tuesday
Nicolas Batum (hyperextended right knee) has been ruled out of Tuesday's game vs. Houston.

Advice: No surprise here, as Batum was initially projected to miss at least a week, which means the earliest he'd likely return would be Friday. Jeremy Lamb will draw the start in place of Batum on Tuesday. Lamb scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds in 28 minutes in his start on Saturday. Lamb is an appealing DFS tournament play on Tuesday. Marco Belinelli and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist should also see extended minutes. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 3:17 pm
  • Report: Hawks shopping Tim Hardaway Jr.
The Hawks are reportedly shopping Tim Hardaway Jr.

Advice: Hardaway Jr. can reportedly be had for just some second-round picks, so Atlanta should be able to strike a deal with someone. The Hawks are reportedly going with the trade route because they don't want to pay Hardaway Jr. as a restricted free agent this offseason, but they also don't want to lose him for nothing. If the Hawks are serious about getting Hardaway Jr. off the books, it would make sense to start showcasing him with the second unit. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 1:43 pm
  • Jon Leuer (knee) ruled out for Tuesday
Jon Leuer (right knee) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Kings.

Advice: We're still awaiting the results of Leuer's MRI, but he's still dealing with some fluid in his knee, so he could certainly spend a few more games on the sidelines. Tobias Harris should move back into the starting five tonight sans Leuer, with Stanley Johnson and Henry Ellenson having the opportunity for some extended run off the bench. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:30 pm
  • Blake Griffin gets up shots at practice Tues
Blake Griffin was spotted getting up some shots following Tuesday's practice.

Advice: This is the first time we've heard of Griffin going through any on-court activities, and he's now hit the 3-week mark of his initial 4-6 week timetable, so he's definitely getting close to a return. Doc Rivers said that he "looked great" during a recent checkup and that he'd prefer that Griffin isn't with a minutes limit upon his return, and if that's the case, he'd likely be hitting the court closer to the 6-week mark. Austin Rivers and Marreese Speights will continue to see an uptick in minutes sans Blake. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 11:32 am

  • Kyle O'Quinn ejected for Flagrant 2 foul
Kyle O'Quinn was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul on Monday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: He shoved Anthony Davis in the back during a layup attempt and injured the Pelicans star in the process. It was a dirty foul and the ejection was warranted. KOQ finished with two points, two rebounds and two blocks in 13 minutes. Rotoworld.com Jan 9, 6:14 pm
  • Nicolas Batum (knee) doubtful for Tuesday
Nicolas Batum (knee) is doubtful to play Tuesday vs. the Rockets.

Advice: Batum is expected to miss at least 1-2 weeks, and he's just three days into that timetable, so it's strange to see him being hit with the doubtful tag rather than just being ruled out outright. Owners shouldn't plan on having him back this week, and it'll be Marco Belinelli, Jeremy Lamb and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist all picking up the slack in his absence. Rotoworld.com Jan 9, 12:21 pm
  • Jon Leuer (knee) has no structural damage
Jon Leuer has no ligament or cartilage damage to his right knee according to coach Stan Van Gundy.

Advice: That's all we know at this point, but it sounds like Leuer is simply dealing with some soreness. Leuer has actually slowed down since his move to the first unit, so he's a borderline hold in standard leagues if we learn that he will miss time. Tobias Harris would likely move back into the first unit if that's the case, even though SVG said he likes him coming off the bench. Rotoworld.com Jan 9, 9:52 am
  • Joakim Noah says he's getting into a rhythm
Joakim Noah said that he's finally finding his form in New York.

Advice: "I feel like I'm playing better. I feel like I'm starting to get into a better rhythm," Noah said. "It's tough. This team is going through some adversity right now. This is when you find out who plays through it and who doesn't." Noah added that he feels healthy for the most part, but did say that his surgically-repaired shoulder is "always there." He's averaging 8.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 0.8 blocks over his last five games, but his ceiling isn't as high with Kristaps Porzingis healthy again. Rotoworld.com Jan 9, 8:17 am
  • Al-Farouq Aminu scores 16 pts on 7-of-10 FGs
Al-Farouq Aminu scored a season-high 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting vs. Detroit, adding eight boards, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Aminu committed just one turnover in 37 minutes during a double-overtime thriller in Portland. It's not encouraging that 16 points is a season-high in scoring for Aminu, but his minutes are way up in January at 34.7 per game, so there's some incentive to grab him as a speculative addition. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 10:34 pm
  • Andre Drummond w/ season-high 28 pts, 14 reb
Andre Drummond piled up 28 points, 14 rebounds, four steals and two blocks with just one turnover in 52 minutes of action vs. Portland on Sunday.

Advice: Drummond made 13-of-20 shots during the Pistons' clutch double-OT victory, and he even went 2-of-3 at the FT line tonight. He played just 25 minutes in Detroit's previous game but that was due strictly to foul trouble. He's scored 20+ points just nine times this season but three of those games are in January, so his owners are certainly enjoying a happy new year. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 10:29 pm
  • Reggie Bullock (meniscus) close to return
Reggie Bullock (torn meniscus) didn't play on Sunday, but coach Stan Van Gundy said he's "trending toward being ready."

Advice: "I think he wants to get in a couple practices," Van Gundy said on Saturday. "Quite honestly, I’d be comfortable putting him in a game right now." Stanley Johnson played 25 minutes on Sunday while Darrun Hilliard picked up a DNP-CD, and Van Gundy seems eager to have an alternative wing player in his second unit. We'll consider Bullock day-to-day going forward. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 10:25 pm
  • Rudy Gay scores 23 points w/ complete line
In his second game back from a hip injury, Rudy Gay dropped 23 points in 35 minutes vs. the Warriors, making 9-of-17 shots with two 3-pointers, three assists, two steals and two blocks.

Advice: Gay is averaging 28.0 points since returning and the hip injury should be in the rearview, although the Kings did list him as 'probable' on the injury report tonight. The veteran is a staple of trade rumors and there's a good chance that he'll finish the season with another team, but in the meantime he's cruising along with mid-round value on a per-game basis. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 9:53 pm
  • Chandler Parsons showing signs of life lately
Chandler Parsons (illness) finished Sunday's game with nine points on 3-of-4 shooting, two 3-pointers, one rebound and one assist in 16 minutes.

Advice: It's been a brutal season for Parsons, trying the patience of even his most optimistic owners, but he's looked much more comfortable in the past two games. His shot isn't as flat as it was, and the decision to give him all his minutes in the first half is helping him find a rhythm. Until his minute-limit increases, however, he'll be hard-pressed to help most owners. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 8:06 pm
  • Jon Leuer (knee) won't return Sunday
Jon Leuer (sore right knee) will miss the remainder of Sunday's game against Portland.

Advice: He finished the night with one assist in six minutes. If he misses Tuesday's game against the Kings, Tobias Harris (who started the second half tonight) will likely move into the starting lineup. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 6:59 pm
  • Patrick Patterson (sore knee) logs 22 minutes
Patrick Patterson (sore left knee) returned from a four-game absence on Sunday, playing 22 minutes to finish with eight points, seven rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers.

Advice: The Raptors and Rockets rank 2nd and 3rd in offensive rating this season, respectively, and tonight's game was predictably high-scoring -- it resulted in a 129-122 road win for the Rockets. Patterson was on a minute-limit tonight but that should be lifted very soon, and he's a viable low-end option as long as his shots are falling. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 6:25 pm
  • John Henson looks awful in 15 minutes
John Henson didn't do much of anything during his 15 minutes of playing time on Sunday, scoring two points on 1-of-3 shooting to go with one rebound, two assists, one steal and two turnovers.

Advice: Henson didn't even get a single blocked shot, and it's been tough for him to earn meaningful minutes lately with how well Greg Monroe has been playing. Over the past eight games, Henson's playing time has fallen to 19.2 minutes a night and he's been absolutely dreadful with averages of 5.0 points, 3.1 boards and just 0.8 blocks per contest. Henson was only worth owning as a shot blocking specialist, and with him not even doing that, he belongs on the waiver wire just about everywhere. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 2:41 pm
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) returning Sunday
Patrick Patterson (knee) will play vs. the Rockets on Sunday.

Advice: Patterson missed four games due to a strained left knee and his return gives Toronto welcome depth in the frontcourt. No matter who starts at PF tonight, Lucas Nogueira or Pascal Siakam, Patterson should slide back into his role as the primary backup PF. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 1:50 pm
  • Otto Porter stuffs the stat sheet in win
Otto Porter stuffed the stat sheet during Sunday's win over the Bucks, racking up 13 points, seven boards, seven assists, three 3-pointers, two blocks, one steal and two turnovers in 39 minutes.

Advice: This is just par for the course for one of fantasy basketball's most versatile forwards. In standard 9-cat leagues he's been a steady top-20 guy on the year with averages of 14.2 points, 6.6 boards, 1.4 dimes, 1.5 steals, 1.7 triples, 0.7 swats and 1.4 turnovers per game on 53.8 percent shooting, and he's showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 1:49 pm
  • Ersan Ilyasova hits 5-of-16 shots for 14 pts
Ersan Ilyasova went 5-of-16 from the field and 3-of-5 from the line Sunday, on his way to 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one 3-pointer, one block and zero turnovers in 26 minutes.

Advice: Over the past few weeks, Ilyasova had been draining an unsustainable 48.7 percent of his shot attempts, but over the past two, we've seen a regression to the mean with Ilyasova going a combined 8-of-37 from the field. The efficiency will come and go, but as long as he's starting, Ilyasova should bring enough to the box score on a nightly basis to sustain a mid-round evaluation in 9-cat leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 11:48 am
  • Chandler Parsons (illness) will play Sunday
Chandler Parsons (illness) is a go for Sunday's game against the Jazz.

Advice: With Parsons at less than 100 percent, he's extremely unlikely to earn much more than 15 minutes tonight. Because he hasn't shown us much of anything this season, Parsons is only a deep-league stash, and with a limited workload tonight he's far from a "must start" option in most scenarios. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 11:08 am
  • Parsons (illness) is questionable Sunday
Chandler Parsons (illness) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Jazz.

Advice: He didn't go through the morning shootaround and he's shaping up to be a game-time call. Parsons has only been playing around 15 minutes per game, but James Ennis would get the biggest bump if Parsons can't give it a go. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 9:13 am
  • Marco Belinelli continues to struggle
Marco Belinelli hit 2-of-10 shots for five points with four rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer in Saturday’s 85-102 loss to the Spurs.

Advice: With Nicolas Batum (knee) sidelined, Belinelli played 26 minutes off the bench. He was outproduced by Jeremy Lamb who got the start and played 28 minutes. Belinelli continues to struggle with his shot since returning from injury, hitting just 3-of-30 field goals in his last three games. That being said, so long as Batum is out, Belinelli should continue to see a boost in minutes. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 10:08 pm
  • Tim Hardaway Jr. scores 22 points vs. DAL
Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 22 points with two rebounds, three assists and five 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Mavs on Saturday.

Advice: He is going to be the main man in the second unit with most of the other bench guys holding low usage rates. Even before this game, he was off to a strong start in 2017 with averages of 18.3 points, 4.3 boards, 1.0 assists and 4.0 treys. He's making a case to be added in standard leagues with a Nick Young-esque kind of upside. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 9:14 pm
