      Advice: For the first time in this series, the home team won. And Jokic was the deciding factor, as Minnesota had no answer for him in Game 5. The Joker became the second player in NBA postseason history to finish a game with at least 40 points, 10 assists, and no turnovers, joining Chris Paul (2018). On the night he received his third Most Valuable Player trophy, Jokic showed the basketball world why he was bestowed that honor.       Advice: Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau decided to move McBride into the starting lineup for Game 5, and that shift helped New York regain momentum in the series. Deuce’s presence gave the Knicks another ball-handler to deal with the Pacers’ full-court pressure, and he also helped harass Tyrese Haliburton on the defensive end of the floor. Jokic and Co. dropped their first two games of this series at Ball Arena, and after two road wins, they should be fired up for Tuesday’s home date with the Timberwolves.       Advice: Holmgren has struggled a bit against Dallas' defensive front through three games after averaging 15.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.8 blocked shots over four games against the Pelicans. The Mavericks have been able to stay fresh in the paint with Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively platooning at the five, and Jaylin Williams hasn't offered the same kind of secondary support.
