      Advice: Porter went just 1-for-6 from the three-point line, continuing a rough series for the sharpshooter. Over the seven-game span, Porter scored fewer than 10 points on five occasions. It was an unfortunate end for Porter after he managed to put together a strong season.     • Michael Porter Jr. goes cold, scores seven points
      Michael Porter Jr. shot 3-of-12 from the field in Sunday’s 98-90 loss to Minnesota, tallying seven points, nine rebounds, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

      Advice: While Jamal Murray (35) and Nikola Jokic (34) combined to score 69 points, no other Nugget scored more than seven in Sunday’s Game 7 defeat. Porter went ice cold, shooting 1-of-6 from beyond the arc and 3-of-12 from the field overall. Sunday night was a disappointing end for a player who provided fantasy managers with a top-75 season in 9-cat formats. Porter exceeded his Yahoo ADP (83.1) while appearing in a career-high 81 regular season games. As long as he stays healthy, MPJ should have a top-75 floor in fantasy basketball next season.     • Chet Holmgren records 21/3/1/2 line in Game 6 loss
      Chet Holmgren finished Saturday’s Game 6 loss to the Mavericks with 21 points (9-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

      Advice: Despite scoring 21 points, Holmgren’s final game of the season wasn’t his best. More concerning than the 1-of-7 night from three was the rebounding, with the rookie only grabbing three. By comparison, Mavericks rookie Dereck Lively II grabbed 15 by himself. Holmgren’s struggles to rebound prompted Thunder coach Mark Daigneault to go with a bigger lineup down the stretch, with Jaylin Williams (6/2/2/1/1 with one 3-pointer in 18 minutes) joining the rookie in the frontcourt. Overall, Holmgren had an excellent rookie campaign, finishing second to Victor Wembanyama in Rookie of the Year voting and providing top-20 per-game value in 9-cat formats. Based on his Yahoo ADP, Chet was expected by many to be a 4th-round player. Those days are over; he should not get out of the third round in standard league drafts, and that’s being conservative.       Porter had six points (2-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt), seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 112-97 victory over the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Porter managed just six points in the victory, continuing his recent offensive struggles. He has scored fewer than 10 points in three of the past four games, a very different story compared to how he opened the playoffs. Despite his poor shooting, the Nuggets now sit just one win away from another trip to the Western Conference Finals. Look for Porter to turn things around in the near future.       Holmgren ended Monday's 100-96 win over Dallas in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 18 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, four blocks and one steal over 40 minutes.

      Advice: Holmgren stepped his game up on a night where Jalen Williams struggled with his shot, and the star rookie made his presence felt on both ends of the court, showing efficiency in his touch near the rim and being his usual disruptive self on the defensive end. Holmgren is averaging 15.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.3 blocks per game in the series against Dallas. Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday in OKC. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:05 am
       
    • Gets second surgery on ankle
      Robinson underwent surgery Monday to address a stress injury to his left ankle, Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com reports.

      Advice: The procedure was Robinson's second of the season on the left ankle, which he reinjured during the Knicks' first-round playoff series victory over the 76ers. Robinson previously underwent surgery in December after suffering a stress fracture to the ankle and missed 50 games before returning to action in late March. He played in just 16 games (including playoffs) following his return before the Knicks announced last Tuesday that Robinson would be re-evaluated in 6-to-8 weeks after aggravating the injury. It's unclear if that re-evaluation timeline still holds now that he's had surgery, but in any case, Robinson won't be available for the remainder of the Knicks' playoff run.
