      Advice: Edwards gave Minnesota a much-needed spark during the third quarter, shooting 5-of-10 from the field and scoring ten points. However, he went quiet in the fourth, only attempting three shots (making two) and appearing tired on both ends of the floor. With Karl-Anthony Towns struggling, Edwards shouldered an even heavier workload than usual. With Dallas having Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving to call on, that’s a losing proposition for Minnesota.       Turner racked up 22 points (9-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist over 39 minutes during Saturday's 114-111 loss to the Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

      Advice: Turner was one of the players who needed to step up offensively in Game 3, and he delivered another solid stat line, but the Pacers crumbled down the stretch and had to settle for another loss.       Myles Turner logged 39 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Celtics, finishing with 22 points (9-of-16 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, and one assist.

      Advice: While Turner shot the ball well from the field overall, there were some glaring deficiencies in his final stat line. The Pacers center missed all three of his 3-point attempts and failed to record a blocked shot for the second straight game. Indiana’s 3-point shooting is more concerning, as they were 5-of-22 in Game 3, and the Celtics outscored them by a 48-15 margin from deep. Not having Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring) on the court impacted the quality of looks the Pacers could generate from three. And this could remain an issue in Game 4 if Haliburton cannot play.       Advice: Gobert will probably be remembered for being unable to defend Luka Doncic on the play that gave Dallas the victory late in the fourth quarter, but the towering Frenchman was having a solid game before that.       Advice: Edwards has been struggling with his shot in recent games, and he hasn't been able to break out of the slump that seems to be affecting him since the Game 7 win over the Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals. Edwards has shot a combined 11-for-33 in the first two games of the series against the Mavericks, and he may need to bounce back if Minnesota wants to have a shot to steal at least one game in Dallas.       Rudy Gobert logged 37 minutes in Friday’s 109-108 loss to the Mavericks, recording a line of 16 points (6-of-10 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one blocked shot.

      Advice: Much will be made of Gobert switching onto Luka Doncic for the Mavericks’ guard’s game-winning 3-pointer, but one could argue that the Defensive Player of the Year should not have been in that position. And Gobert’s play has been the least of Minnesota’s concerns, as Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns continue to struggle offensively. After shooting 6-of-20 from the field in Game 1, KAT was even worse in Game 2, going 4-of-16 and finishing with 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer.       Anthony Edwards played 40 minutes in Friday’s 109-108 loss to the Mavericks, tallying 21 points (5-of-17 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists, one block, and two 3-pointers.

      Advice: Edwards is in a slump at the worst possible time, shooting 18-of-57 from the field in his last three games. While the first of this downturn in production was Minnesota’s Game 7 victory over Denver, his inefficiency has been problematic against Dallas. His saving grace in Game 2 was the foul line, with Ant-Man making nine of his 10 attempts. While Edwards has undoubtedly looked ready for the bright lights numerous times, there’s still room for growth.       Advice: Turner had issues with foul trouble all game long, and that was the main reason why he was limited to just 24 minutes -- his second-lowest mark in the current playoff run.
