Playoff Caleb ends Boston's season w/ 26/10 line
Caleb Martin was blisteringly hot Monday, hitting 11-of-16 shots for 26 points and adding 10 rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Advice: Martin was feeling it all evening, and he hit four of his six three-point attempts while finishing behind only Jimmy Butler (28 points) for team lead in scoring. Martin had his coming out party in the ECF, averaging 19.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.1 triples and making a case for ECF MVP. He and other Heat role players such as Gabe Vincent and Duncan Robinson stepped up in big ways with Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo sidelined, and without their steady contributions, this series win would not have been possible. There’s a chance Herro is back for at least part of the Finals, but after such a stellar series against Boston, there’s no way Martin’s role is marginalized. From Charlotte outcast to Eastern Conference hero, Martin's story is a true rags-to-riches tale. We're anxious to see how he follows it up against Denver.
