  • John Henson double-doubles in loss
John Henson scored 10 points with 10 rebounds, one assist and one block in 33 minutes against the Heat on Wednesday.

Advice: The Bucks turning to more Giannis Antetokounmpo at the five hasn't hurt Henson's playing time, logging 29.0 minutes per game over his last five outings. On the other hand, his per-minute stats have dropped this month, averaging 8.4 points, 7.4 boards and 1.3 blocks. He's still a low-end hold if you need a big. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:48 pm

  • Carmelo Anthony lights up Lakers w/ 27 points
Carmelo Anthony lit up the Lakers for a game-high 27 points on Wednesday, going 10-of-15 from the field with four 3-pointers, three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes.

Advice: Melo's altered role in OKC has led to some swings in his fantasy value, but he's settling in as a designated catch-and-shoot guy -- he was slumping from the field, so it was nice to see him find a groove tonight. He'll look to keep it going when the Thunder seek their fourth straight win vs. the visiting Cavs on Saturday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:40 pm

  • Larry Nance (hip) looks fine in 23 minutes
Larry Nance (hip) finished a lopsided loss on Wednesday with six points on 3-of-5 shooting, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 23 minutes.

Advice: The Lakers were blown out and coach Luke Walton spread minutes across 13 different players, so there's not a lot to learn from this game. Julius Randle was efficient with 16 points on 8-of-11 shooting, but no other Laker scored more than 10 points tonight. Yuck. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:34 pm
  • Kevin Durant scores just 19 points
Kevin Durant scored 19 points with eight rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 35 minutes against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: It snaps his 20-plus scoring streak that he had going since Christmas, including some eye-popping January averages of 29.6 points, 6.6 boards, 5.8 dimes, 1.4 blocks, 1.2 steals and 3.2 treys on 59.1 percent from the field in his previous games this month. KD gets a matchup against the Trevor Ariza-less Rockets on Saturday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:24 pm

  • Omri Casspi scores four
Omri Casspi scored four points with four rebounds in 18 minutes against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: Technically, he was a DNP-CD on Monday, but coach Steve Kerr held him out because of how sensitive his back injury is. Casspi should stay on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:21 pm

  • Kevon Looney scores just two points
Kevon Looney scored two points with four rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: He started the second half because of Jordan Bell getting hurt on the first play of the game. Even with Bell likely out of the lineup for at least a few games, Looney just doesn't do enough to warrant a pickup in most leagues. Draymond Green (shoulder) should be back soon, too. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:18 pm

  • Jarell Martin drops 17 points on 8-of-15 FGs
Jarell Martin stepped up on Wednesday with 17 points on 8-of-15 shooting, six boards, one assist, one steal and one block in 31 minutes.

Advice: Martin even hit a 3-pointer tonight, taking full advantage of added run in the absence of Marc Gasol and Brandan Wright. Both of those veterans are just day-to-day, however, so this doesn't improve Martin's short-term outlook. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:12 pm
  • JaMychal Green posts 18 & 13 vs. Knicks
JaMychal Green racked up 18 points, 13 rebounds (seven offensive), three assists, three 3-pointers and one steal in 27 minutes vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Marc Gasol and Brandan Wright were both away from the team recovering from illnesses, which left the frontcourt very thin. Green, Deyonta Davis and Jarell Martin all saw their roles increase as a result, and Green is quietly building up steam in January. He's averaging 12.0 points, 8.3 boards, 1.4 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.1 triples this month, and should only see his role expand down the stretch. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:12 pm
  • Deyonta Davis starts for Marc Gasol (illness)
Deyonta Davis started for Marc Gasol (illness) on Wednesday, posting eight points on 4-of-6 shooting, four rebounds and one steal in 24 minutes.

Advice: The 21-year-old held his own in his first start in the NBA, which is encouraging for a Grizzlies team that might commit to rebuilding sooner rather than later. Gasol is day-to-day so Davis is only on the radar as a potential streaming option vs. the Kings on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:10 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis ties season-high w/ 6 blks
Kristaps Porzingis tied his season-high with six blocks on Wednesday, adding 21 points, nine rebounds, three steals and two 3-pointers.

Advice: KP was grabbing his left thumb at one point, but he closed out this game and looked fine, so we're leaving him off the injury report. He didn't turn the ball over in 33 minutes and has been a shot-blocking machine lately, averaging 3.2 swats in his past dozen games. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:07 pm
  • Kyle O'Quinn plays just 12 minutes vs. MEM
Kyle O'Quinn had just two points, six boards and one assist in 12 minutes vs. the Grizzlies on Wednesday.

Advice: KOQ was coming off a big game on Monday, but his role tends to ebb and flow based upon matchups. It doesn't help that Willy Hernangomez (DNP-CD) could be unleashed at some point, making O'Quinn a luxury in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:07 pm
  • Serge Ibaka very quiet in 24 minutes vs. DET
Serge Ibaka was very quiet on Wednesday with two points on 1-of-5 shooting, three rebounds, one assist and one turnover in 24 minutes.

Advice: Aside from sporadic DNPs, Ibaka has been a sneaky value this season for 8-cat and 9-cat owners, but he's struggling lately -- in his past four games he's averaging 9.0 points on 37.5% shooting, 4.5 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.8 threes, 0.5 blocks and 0.0 steals. If you want blocks, boards and a big man who won't hurt you anywhere, this is a good time to make buy-low offers. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:56 pm
  • Andre Drummond w/ 25 & 17, makes 12-of-15 FGs
Andre Drummond made 12-of-15 shots to score 25 points on Wednesday, adding 17 rebounds, four steals and two assists in 38 minutes.

Advice: The Pistons lost their third straight game despite Drummond's big game, and they were undone by inefficiency -- aside from Drummond, they shot 34.2 percent as a team. Detroit is still clinging to the No. 8 seed in the East with a 22-21 record, and the push for a playoff spot should ensure Drummond and other key guys play big minutes in the second half of the season. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:53 pm
  • Nikola Mirotic scores 24 points in 27 minutes
Nikola Mirotic scored 24 points with six rebounds, three assists, one block, three steals and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Warriors on Wednesday.

Advice: He hasn't skipped a beat since returning from an illness on Saturday, scoring 18 points in 24 minutes on Monday and 16 points in 22 minutes on Saturday. Mirotic looks to be locked in for minutes in the mid 20s and playing next to Lauri Markkanen at times has helped his consistency. He should be owned in standard leagues, but he could be considered as a sell-high player because a trade would likely hurt his value. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:51 pm

  • Mike Muscala gets DNP-CD vs. Pelicans
Mike Muscala picked up a DNP-CD on Wednesday.

Advice: Muscala missed over a month with a serious ankle injury, but it's unclear why the Hawks continue to list him on the injury report -- he's healthy and cleared to play. As long as Dewayne Dedmon, John Collins and Miles Plumlee are around, though, there's no reason for owners to bother with Muscala. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:28 pm

  • Davis Bertans scores two points
Davis Bertans scored two points with one rebound, two assists and one turnover in 22 minutes against the Nets on Wednesday.

Advice: He was coming in fairly hot this month, averaging 12.6 points, 3.1 boards and 2.9 treys over his previous eight games. Bertans should be looking at minutes in the 20s most nights with Kawhi Leonard (quad) out indefinitely. He's not going to do too much outside of score and hit treys, so he's only worth a look in very deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:14 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins' 19/14/7 not enough Wed
The Pelicans' three-game win streak ended in Atlanta on Wednesday, despite DeMarcus Cousins' 19 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal.

Advice: Cousins missed a potential game-winner and New Orleans walked away with a disappointing 94-93 loss to the cellar-dwelling Hawks. As usual, Boogie's huge numbers came with a few asterisks tonight, as he made 6-of-17 FGs and 6-of-8 FTs with five turnovers in 35 minutes. He'll get some rest before facing Marc Gasol and the Grizzlies on Saturday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:04 pm
  • Anthony Davis held to eight points vs. ATL
Anthony Davis cooled off on Wednesday with eight points (2-of-8 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 38 minutes.

Advice: AD recently joined Charles Barkley as the only players with at least 45 points and 15 rebounds in consecutive games, but he couldn't keep it going vs. Atlanta tonight. This was the fewest points he's scored in a game (at least 20 minutes) since Jan. 2015, and fatigue may have been a factor -- this was the second of back-to-back games. Alvin Gentry has said he'd like to rein in AD's minutes, but we'll believe it when we see it. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:03 pm

  • Markieff Morris quiet in 15 minutes Wednesday
Markieff Morris (ankle) had two points, five rebounds and one assist in 15 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: Morris didn't practice on Tuesday and reportedly had both of his ankles iced after Monday's game, but it sounds like the typical bumps and bruises of an NBA season. He committed four fouls during his limited time on the court, but the Wizards also rested starters at the end of a blowout tonight. Expect better vs. Detroit on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 6:51 pm
  • Deyonta Davis will start on Wednesday
Deyonta Davis will start on Wednesday against the Knicks.

Advice: Coach J.B. Bickerstaff really talked up Davis before the game, saying he "has been groomed for these moments" with Marc Gasol and Brandan Wright out. If he can avoid foul trouble, he could be in for a big night as a very strong DFS play. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:42 pm
  • Omri Casspi (back) will play on Wednesday
Omri Casspi (back) will play Wednesday vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Casspi was a healthy scratch on Monday, but Steve Kerr said he'll be getting on the floor tonight. He could pick up a few extra minutes with Andre Iguodala (calf) out, but not enough to make a meaningful impact in fantasy hoops. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:33 pm

  • No suspension for Blake Griffin
Blake Griffin will not be suspended for his Monday incident against the Rockets.

Advice: This is a small surprise with the Clippers getting off light. Griffin can be put into all lineups and may actually be a strong DFS play against the Nuggets tonight. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:46 pm

  • Mike Muscala is available
Mike Muscala (ankle) is available for Wednesday against the Pelicans.

Advice: He has seen some playing time lately, but he played just three minutes on Monday. Muscala won't have much value while the Hawks are healthy up front. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:19 pm

  • Markieff Morris (ankle) will start Wednesday
Markieff Morris (ankle) will start Wednesday vs. Charlotte.

Advice: Morris did not practice on Tuesday after rolling his ankle in Monday's loss to Milwaukee, but the ankle issue won't be anything that forces him to miss any game-time action. Joining Morris in the starting five will be John Wall, Bradley Beal, Otto Porter and Marcin Gortat. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:11 pm
  • Skal Labissiere (shoulder) ruled out vs. Utah
Skal Labissiere (shoulder) has been ruled out for Wednesday against the Jazz.

Advice: Just when it looked like Labissiere was going to get minutes on a regular basis, he has to sit out as the Kings turn to their youth. Coach Dave Joerger said he's expected to rest 2-3 veterans per game, but maybe this time Zach Randolph and Kosta Koufos suit up. On the other hand, the Kings could turn to Georgios Papagiannis or run more small-ball lineups, but either way Z-Bo and Koufos can't be trusted. Willie Cauley-Stein is really the only reliable Kings big these days. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 1:04 pm
  • Larry Nance (hip) probable for Wednesday
Larry Nance (right hip pointer) is probable to play Wednesday vs. Oklahoma City.

Advice: Nance tweaked his hip on Monday but was able to play through it, and it sounds like that's what he'll be doing tonight. Check back for official confirmation on his status closer to tip-off. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:54 am
  • Draymond Green, Iguodala won't play Wednesday
Draymond Green (right shoulder soreness) and Andre Iguodala (calf) will not suit up for Wednesday's game in Chicago.

Advice: Green said his shoulder feels fine, so we'd expect him to get back out there for Saturday's game in Houston. With both Green and Iguodala watching from the sidelines on Wednesday, Jordan Bell will draw the start and there will be more minutes available for guys like David West, Omri Casspi and Nick Young. • Derrick Favors could be an option for CLE
Derrick Favors could be a potential trade target for the Cavs, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Advice: Cleveland is looking to add some size, and Favors is available, so it'll be interesting to see if anything becomes of this report. Favors value in Cleveland would depend on the moving pieces, but it's tough to see him improving his stock with the Cavs. He's also been linked to the Bulls, but his value would likely take a hit there if they didn't also move Robin Lopez. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:30 am
  • Kristaps Porzingis says game slowing down
Kristaps Porzingis said he was forcing things too much on offense during his cold shooting stretch.

Advice: "I’m just trying to slow down mentally. That’s helping me know," Porzingis said. "I’m not thinking I need to score as much. I just want to be involved. When the shots come, I’m going to take them, and they’re going to be higher-percentage shots, not as many contested shots and not as much me fighting to get the bucket." Porzingis is adjusting to being the No. 1 guy in the offense, but with Tim Hardaway Jr. back, and Porzingis being more selective with his shots, his shooting percentages should start to trend upward. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:03 am
  • Jayson Tatum returned to action on Tuesday January 16. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 12:47 am

  • Al-Farouq Aminu hits four more treys
Al-Farouq Aminu hit 5-of-12 shots and four 3-pointers for 14 points, nine rebounds and a block in 28 minutes of Tuesday's easy 118-111 win over the Suns.

Advice: The Suns had a big fourth quarter (39-26) but still lost by seven, while Aminu bounced back after a quiet game on Sunday, when he had just six points, seven rebounds, a block and zero 3-pointers. Aminu is bouncing around on a lot of waiver wires, but he's quietly averaging 11 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 2.2 3-pointers over his last five games. He's hit at least one 3-pointer in eight of his nine January games and if you need a big man who can steal and hit 3-pointers, Aminu seems to be coming on after a rather quiet second half of December. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:33 pm

  • Jayson Tatum quiet in 27 minutes
Jayson Tatum (knee) was quiet in 27 minutes vs. the Pelicans on Tuesday, scoring 10 points with five rebounds, two assists, one block and two triples.

Advice: Tatum missed a practice over the weekend after tweaking his knee last week vs. Philly, but all the test results came back clean. "It feels a lot better. I just tweaked it in the game in London, and the long plane ride it got a little stiff," he said. "We had a few days off of practice, I mean, off until our next game. So they just told me to rest the other day at practice." He's been one of the most consistent rookies this season and is flirting with top-50 value in standard 9-category leagues, and it doesn't sound like this knee injury is going to linger. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:52 pm

  • Boogie Cousins drops 19 & 15 on Celtics
DeMarcus Cousins hit 7-of-20 shots, 1-of-6 3-pointers and 4-of-6 free throws for 19 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, three steals, zero blocks and seven turnovers in Tuesday's 116-113 overtime in at Boston.

Advice: Boogie wasn't all that efficient tonight and the seven turnovers, compared to just one for Anthony Davis, have been an issue all season. He's struggling with his shot right now, hitting just 11-of-36 over his last two games, but once they start falling again, look out. The 5.4 turnovers over his last five games are annoying and right on course, as he's averaging 5.0 per game on the season. Despite the negatives, he's playing at first-round value this season and his shot should start falling soon. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:21 pm
  • Anthony Davis posts 45-point monster line
Anthony Davis hit 16-of-34 shots and 13-of-15 free throws for 45 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks in Tuesday's 116-113 overtime win at Boston, the third straight for the Pelicans.

Advice: This wasn't a season-high performance for AD, as he went off for 48 points and 17 rebounds on Sunday against the Knicks. Davis has been crazy good for three straight games, as well as the whole season, and is averaging 43 points, 14 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 2.3 blocks over his last three. Unfortunately, he's also played 45, 50 and 41 minutes in each of those games and big minutes are not what AD's owners need from him. You have to wonder if there's a chance he sits on Wednesday night against the Hawks. The good news is he looks fully healthy and energized, and even rammed home a dunk after the buzzer as an exclamation point tonight. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:17 pm

  • Labissiere (shoulder) questionable Wednesday
Skal Labissiere is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Jazz with a left shoulder strain.

Advice: All we have to work with is the injury report, so we don't know any details on the severity or whether or not he practiced on Tuesday. If Labissiere can't go, we should see Zach Randolph play a lot of minutes after he was rested in his last outing. The Kings are trying to get their younger guys more playing time, so keep an eye on the second-year big man. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 5:40 pm
  • Jayson Tatum (knee) will play on Tuesday
Jayson Tatum (knee) is good to go for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans.

Advice: Tatum went through most of Monday's practice and looked fine at shootaround, so we wouldn't anticipate any sort of minutes limit for him tonight. Feel free to get him active. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 2:40 pm

  • Draymond Green, Iguodala questionable vs. CHI
Draymond Green (right shoulder soreness) and Andre Iguodala (calf) are questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Green was icing his shoulder after Monday's win, and it's become a reoccurring issue this season, so it wouldn't be all that surprising to see him hit the sidelines on Wednesday night with a matchup against the 16-27 Bulls. The same can be said about Iguodala. If both these guys are out, there minutes will be divvied up between Kevin Durant, David West, Omri Casspi and Jordan Bell. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:56 pm
    GTD

  • Larry Nance (hip) questionable for Wednesday
Larry Nance (right hip pointer) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

Advice: Nance played through the hip issue on Monday, but it may have gotten worse overnight. We'll have a better idea on his status following Wednesday morning's shootaround, but if he does need to hit the sidelines, Kyle Kuzma and Julius Randle would pick up most of his minutes. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:25 pm
  • Markieff Morris (ankle) unable to practice
Markieff Morris (ankle) did not practice on Tuesday after rolling his ankle in Monday's loss to the Bucks.

Advice: Morris reportedly had both of his ankles iced up after Monday's contest. For now, we'll consider him questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Charlotte. If Morris is unable to suit up, Mike Scott and Jason Smith would see an uptick in minutes. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:31 am
  • Blake Griffin ejected late Monday vs. Houston
Blake Griffin was ejected late during Monday's 113-102 victory, finishing with 29 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and a steal in 35 minutes.

Advice: Griffin and Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni were assessed technicals for exchanging words in the fourth quarter, then Griffin was hit with a second tech after jawing with Trevor Ariza. Blake hit 11-of-22 FGs and 7-of-8 FTs, and his point total was his highest since Nov. 25, a span of nine games and a couple of injuries. The buy-low window will slam shut if he is able to replicate these results Wednesday against the visiting Nuggets. We'll see if there is any disciplinary action after his two techs. Rotoworld.com Monday, 11:00 pm

  • Kevin Durant, Warriors get best of Cavs
Kevin Durant hit 9-of-16 shots, 4-of-6 3-pointers and 10-of-10 free throws for 32 points, five rebounds, eight assists, three steals and a block in Monday's 118-110 win over the Cavaliers.

Advice: He also had just three turnovers, and basically outplayed LeBron James across the board tonight, even though James had a pretty big game himself. Durant crushed him in free throw shooting and turnovers, which is what makes Durant a more popular player to own in fantasy than James. Durant simply won't hurt you anywhere. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:12 pm

  • Skal Labissiere scores seven points in start
Skal Labissiere started on Monday vs. the Thunder and scored seven points with seven rebounds, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes.

Advice: He was 3-of-10 from the field and didn't score or grab a board in the second half, but the biggest takeaway is that he's about to be unleashed -- Zach Randolph was a DNP-CD and coach Dave Joerger said he's going to rest two veterans in every game going forward. His stash appeal is growing despite tonight's quiet fantasy line. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:10 pm
  • Draymond Green just misses triple-double
Draymond Green hit 5-of-14 shots and was 0-for-5 from downtown for 11 points, but also had a season-high 16 rebounds, nine assists and two blocks, just missing a triple-double in Monday's win over the Cavaliers.

Advice: This would have been his third triple-double of the season and it feels like they're tougher to come by across the league this season. Green's not a dynamic scorer on a loaded Warriors' team, but that hasn't stopped him from being worth a second-round fantasy pick. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:07 pm
    GTD

  • Carmelo Anthony scores 20 points in win
Carmelo Anthony scored 20 points in a 95-88 win over the Kings on Monday, hitting 7-of-19 shots and 2-of-2 free throws in 32 minutes.

Advice: If not for a big third quarter, this would've been a rough night -- he scored 15 of his 20 points in the third and didn't score again after that. He added nine rebounds, one assist, two blocks and four triples, but he's in a bit of a slump again, hitting just 15-of-52 from the field in his last three games. A matchup with the Lakers on Wednesday should get him going. Rotoworld.com Monday, 7:45 pm

  • Deyonte Davis blocks five shots in win
Deyonte Davis played 14 minutes and hit 4-of-5 shots for 10 points, five rebounds and a career-high five blocks in Monday's 123-114 win over the Lakers.

Advice: He was great in limited minutes tonight, but unless Marc Gasol gets traded (which is a real possibility), Davis doesn't get enough run to be used in most fantasy leagues. And over his last five games, despite tonight's solid one, he's averaging just 2.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in eight minutes per game. Rotoworld.com Monday, 5:49 pm
  • Jarell Martin scores 10 points in win
Jarell Martin hit 4-of-5 shots for 10 points and three rebounds in 21 minutes off the Grizzlies bench on Monday.

Advice: Martin didn't score in his last game, but has been playing fairly well since just before Christmas. But he really doesn't offer much outside of some low scoring, making him tough to use, even in the deepest of leagues. He just saw his shot get hot tonight. Rotoworld.com Monday, 5:43 pm
  • JaMychal Green just missed double-double
JaMychal Green hit 4-of-8 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, nine rebounds and one assist in Monday's 123-114 win over the Lakers.

Advice: Green went off for 20 points, 14 rebounds, two steals and a block last Wednesday, then had a five-point dud on Friday before playing fairly well today. He's not going to do much besides score and rebound, and he doesn't exactly destroy those categories, but he's playing well enough to be given a look in most leagues if you're desperate for a big man. Rotoworld.com Monday, 5:34 pm
  • Larry Nance double-doubles in loss
Larry Nance played through a hip injury suffered on Monday and double-doubled with 15 points, 11 rebounds, three steals and three blocks in 26 minutes.

Advice: He hit 6-of-9 shots and owners might want to monitor him going forward, as he was in a lot of pain after banging hips with Deyonte Davis and was wearing a huge contraption around his waist when he wasn't playing in order to ease the pain. He's double-doubled in two of his last three games and left early with a cut above his eye on Saturday. He's banged up, but playing well when the minutes are there. Rotoworld.com Monday, 5:22 pm
  • Omri Casspi is inactive Monday
Omri Casspi will be a healthy scratch on Monday vs. the Cavaliers.

Advice: The Warriors have their whole roster available, but Casspi will be pushed out of the rotation for this matchup. He's not worth owning while Kevin Durant is healthy. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:43 pm

  • Mirotic scores 18 points w/ three triples
Nikola Mirotic scored 18 points with five rebounds, one assist, one block and three triples in 24 minutes against the Heat on Monday.

Advice: In case you missed it, Mirotic officially became eligible to be traded on Monday and he's already been linked to the Blazers, Jazz and Pistons. "Hopefully, they're going to keep me a few more games at least," Mirotic said. "Especially that Golden State game, I want to play. It's going to be a fun game. Let's go day by day, that's the only thing I can do." It certainly sounds like he's expecting to be traded, but he should still have some nice value if he ends up on one of those three teams mentioned. Bobby Portis' stash appeal is also growing in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:03 pm

  • Larry Nance Jr. (back) available to return
Larry Nance Jr. hurt his back during Monday's game against the Grizzlies, but he's available to return.

Advice: He got bumped on a drive to the hoop, hit one of two of his freebies and then limped his way back to the locker room. We'll provide another update after the game, but it doesn't seem like he's dealing with anything serious. Rotoworld.com Monday, 3:43 pm
  • Kyle O'Quinn sharp in 23 minutes off bench
Kyle O'Quinn was effective in Monday's 119-104 win at Brooklyn, going for 11 points with seven rebounds, three assist sand two blocked shots over 23 minutes.

Advice: O'Quinn was a perfect 4-of-4 from the field, as he had the hot hand to eat into the minutes of Enes Kanter. In fact, O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez were a perfect 5-of-5 from the floor, keeping Kanter nailed to the bench for a good chunk of the game. Both centers have drawn trade inquires recently, and they certainly improved their stock with solid showings. New York has a logjam at the position, so someone might be on their way out of town soon. A new situation might mean new fantasy appeal, so we'll watch this situation closely. Rotoworld.com Monday, 3:13 pm
  • Davis Bertans gets off 15 shots in loss
Davis Bertans played 24 minutes and hit 4-of-15 shots and two 3-pointers for 10 points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in Monday's 102-99 loss to the Hawks.

Advice: Bertans has had some big games lately and probably would have had another one today, had his shot been falling. He's averaging 13.2 points and 3.2 3-pointers over his last five games, but he won't help in any other areas. But as long as Kawhi Leonard (shoulder) and Rudy Gay (heel) are hurting, Bertans is going to play. And it doesn't hurt that Manu Ginobili also went down today with a thigh injury. Rotoworld.com Monday, 2:48 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis dumps in 26 points
Kristaps Porzingis scored 26 points with nine rebounds and two blocked shots across 27 minutes in Monday's 119-104 victory at Brooklyn.

Advice: Porzingis was a solid 8-of-14 from the field, including 2-of-3 from behind the 3-point line, while adding 8-of-11 from the free-throw stripe. His minutes were somewhat limited dude to four personal fouls, but he obviously still had a very nice line. He had a much better time than his last outing aginst the Nets Dec. 14, when he left in the first half with a sore knee. In his previous two full games against Brooklyn he is averaging 28.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per outing. He'll get another crack at them at MSG on Jan. 30. Rotoworld.com Monday, 2:43 pm
  • Markieff Morris held to six points in 24 mins
Markieff Morris was held to just six points on 3-of-6 shooting Monday, to go with six rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and three turnovers in 24 minutes.

Advice: Morris had a couple nice games to bring in the New Year, but he's gone back to garbage-mode over the past four with meager averages of 8.3 points, 4.8 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.3 triples and 1.8 turnovers per game on 54.2% shooting in 28.1 minutes a night. Basically, when Kelly Oubre is playing well, Morris' minutes suffer, and that's likely to remain a trend for the rest of the season. Rotoworld.com Monday, 2:24 pm
  • John Henson swats two shots in 31 minutes
John Henson scored four points on 2-of-6 shooting Monday to go with eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, two blocks and three turnovers in 31 minutes.

Advice: This is pretty much par for the course for Henson. He tends to score in the single digits, but his 1.5 blocks per contest give him some low-end appeal as a shot-blocking specialist. He's a fine low-end big to own in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Monday, 2:07 pm

  • Serge Ibaka logs just 17 minutes in loss
Serge Ibaka played just 17 minutes during Monday's loss to the 76ers, finishing with 10 points, five rebounds, two assists and nothing else.

Advice: The minutes were a season-low for Ibaka, and this is just another example of Dwane Casey not being afraid to mess with his frontcourt rotations when the starting bigs aren't giving him the energy he'd like. That said, Ibaka's playing time was trending towards the 30s through the month of January, so hopefully, Serge's minutes will be back in that range on Wednesday against Detroit. Jonas Valanciunas finished with eight points, five boards, one assist and two turnovers in 14 minutes. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:02 pm
  • Andre Drummond disappears vs. Hornets
Andre Drummond had a tough day on Monday, hitting 1-of-7 shots for three points, 10 rebounds, five assists, three steals and a block in 34 minutes.

Advice: The scoring was a disaster, but he helped make up for it with the assists and steals. He was in some foul trouble and just didn't have it today, which was surprising considering he'd been playing well and had 21 points, 15 boards and three blocks on Saturday. It speaks to what kind of season Dwight Howard is having for the Hornets, as he simply dominated Drummond in this one. Rotoworld.com Monday, 11:59 am
  • Jayson Tatum (knee) is probable for Tuesday
Jayson Tatum (knee) is probable for Tuesday's game vs. the Celtics.

Advice: His test results all came back good and it sounds like he's dealing with a minor knee tweak. Tatum went through most of Monday's practice and should be ready to roll on Tuesday barring a setback in warmups. We'll have another update on Tuesday morning. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:21 am

  • Omri Casspi (back) is available Monday
Omri Casspi (back) is available on Monday vs. the Cavaliers.

Advice: The Warriors will need Andre Iguodala's defense on LeBron James, so Casspi is looking at a handful of minutes at best. He's not worth deploying in most leagues while Golden State is healthy. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:16 am

  • Al-Farouq Aminu quiet in lopsided road loss
Al-Farouq Aminu struggled in 21 minutes on Sunday, going 3-of-7 from the field for six points, seven rebounds, one assist and one block.

Advice: Aminu came in averaging 33.0 minutes per game but was the victim of a slow start for Portland -- trailing by 14 points at halftime, coach Terry Stotts wasn't shy about mixing up his rotations in the second half. His shot still isn't falling (42.1 percent in January) but Aminu chips in enough elsewhere to be worth holding in most formats. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:16 pm

  • DeMarcus Cousins has career-high seven steals
DeMarcus Cousins collected a career-high seven steals vs. the Knicks on Sunday, adding 15 points, 16 rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 45 minutes.

Advice: The Pelicans had an incredible 17 steals as a team tonight, all from the starters, and they scored 22 points off turnovers tonight. It wasn't a perfect night for Cousins by any means, as he made 4-of-16 FGs and 7-of-12 FTs, with five turnovers, but you can't fault his ability to pile up counting stats. Cousins is averaging career-highs in assists (5.1) and 3-pointers (2.3) this season, and he's yet to miss a game. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 4:39 pm
  • Anthony Davis nets season-high 48 points in W
Anthony Davis powered the Pelicans to a 123-118 overtime win over the Knicks on Sunday, erupting for 48 points, 17 boards, two triples, four steals, three blocks and four turnovers in 50 minutes.

Advice: Davis helped the Pelicans overcome a 19-point halftime deficit, hitting numerous circus shots (an example of one in the video below) while rocking a ridiculous 40.9 usage rate through the second half of action. He's now scored at least 40 points in his previous two outings at Madison Square Garden, and this was also the first time we've seen a player go off for 48 points, 17 rebounds and four steals since Michael Jordan did it back in 1990. That's some elite company. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 4:33 pm

  • Kristaps Porzingis scores 25 points in loss
Kristaps Porzingis scored 25 points on 10-of-24 shooting Sunday, to go with six boards, four 3-pointers, three assists, five steals, two blocks and three turnovers in 44 minutes.

Advice: Porzingis had a hot start to the game, but he cooled off after halftime, going 4-of-11 from the field through the second half of action and his usage rate also dipped to 24.5. The Knicks blew a 19-point lead, which was partly due to some miraculous play from Anthony Davis, but they also played fairly horribly as a team on the defensive end. Speaking of terrible defense, Enes Kanter finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one turnover in 36 minutes. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 4:09 pm
  • Casspi, Iguodala, Livingston probable Monday
Omri Casspi (back), Andre Iguodala (hip) and Shaun Livingston (shin) are all probable for Monday's matchup with the Cavs.

Advice: Casspi has spent the past two games on the sidelines, but it looks like he'll get back out there for on Monday. However, with the Dubs expected to be at full strength for their MLK Day game, Casspi is unlikely to get enough minutes to matter. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 1:35 pm

  • Nikola Mirotic not worrying about future
Nikola Mirotic said he's not thinking about his future in Chicago right now and that he's focused on winning games.

Advice: "I want to win, that’s all I want to do," Mirotic said. "But I’m happy in Chicago. I’m obviously very happy and my family, too. We all love Chicago and we are more than thankful for the opportunity to be here. That’s all I can tell you now." The veteran forward is eligible to be traded on Monday and has already been linked to the Blazers, Jazz and Pistons, so expect the rumors to heat up again. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:19 am

  • Andre Drummond gets 21 & 15 in all-around gem
Andre Drummond had another big all-around game on Saturday with 21 points (8-of-13 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), 15 rebounds, four assists, three blocks, two steals and one turnover.

Advice: Drummond committed just one turnover and two fouls in 34 minutes, and it's safe to conclude that his rib injury is no longer a concern. He missed one game on Jan. 6, but in the three games since he's averaging a stellar 19.7 points, 16.3 boards, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocks. That was against a trio of vulnerable frontcourts, though, and he'll draw a tougher matchup vs. Dwight Howard on Monday. Trainers did look at Drummond's right foot in the second quarter tonight but he looked fine after halftime, so we'll leave him off the injury report. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:47 pm
  • Davis Bertans hits six triples in victory
Davis Bertans went for 18 points with a team-best plus-25 rating across 23 minutes off the bench in Saturday's 112-80 win against Denver.

Advice: Bertans was a very efficient 6-of-8 from the field, including 6-of-7 from behind the 3-point line. He and Manu Ginobili are the only Spurs to post six triples in a game this season. Bertans also accomplished the feat back on Jan. 8 against the Kings. He is having a nice January, posting 13.0 points per game while averaging 3.0 3-pointers per game. If you need triples Bertans is worth scooping up while running hot. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:44 pm
  • Nikola Mirotic scores 16 points in return
Nikola Mirotic returned to action on Saturday with 16 points, six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block, making 6-of-13 shots with four 3-pointers in 22 minutes.

Advice: Mirotic missed one game due to illness but looked fine vs. Detroit tonight. He's eligible to be traded on Monday and teams like the Pistons and Jazz have been mentioned as possible suitors -- for now, the Bulls are reportedly holding out for a first-round draft pick. Heat coach Fred Hoiberg referred to playing Mirotic and Lauri Markkanen together as "a fun lineup," so as long as he's with Chicago his role appears safe. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:44 pm

  • Serge Ibaka returns w/ 14 points in 29 mins
Serge Ibaka returned from his one-game suspension on Saturday with 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting, five rebounds and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

Advice: Ibaka contributed to Toronto's incredible second-half comeback, cutting what was once a 27-point deficit to just one point late in the fourth quarter, but they couldn't get over the hump. He didn't have any assists, steals or blocks tonight -- it's the fourth time all season that's happened, so owners can expect better vs. Philly on Monday. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:18 pm
  • Blake Griffin struggles with shot in win
Blake Griffin went 3-of-8 from the field and 4-of-4 from the stripe on his way to 11 points, four boards, one 3-pointer, nine assists and five turnovers in 29 minutes on Saturday.

Advice: Ugly shooting has been a consistent issue for Griffin this season, who is currently connecting on a career-worst 42.9% of his shot attempts. Some of that has to do with the fact that he's jacking up a career-high 5.7 triples per contest, but the lack of spacing in Los Angeles hasn't done him any favors either. That said, he's still managed to produce top-60 value on the year and there's room for improvement, so he's someone to think about as a buy-low target. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:44 pm

  • Skal Labissiere scores 14 points in 22 mins
Skal Labissiere went 5-of-8 from the field and 2-of-4 from the stripe on his way to 14 points in 22 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 126-105 loss to the Clippers.

Advice: Labissiere also chipped in seven rebounds, two 3-pointers, one assist, one steal and one block in what was one of his better performances of the year. Unfortunately for him, the big man rotation in Sacramento has been an absolute disaster this season, so it'll be tough for him to carve out much value when his minutes are in the low-20s. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:29 pm
  • Carmelo Anthony has awful shooting game
Carmelo Anthony hit just 3-of-14 field-goal attempts to finish with seven points across 33 minutes in Saturday's 101-91 win at Charlotte.

Advice: 'Melo went 0-of-5 from behind the 3-point line, and he split his pair of free-throw tries. He was able to salvage the stat line with 10 rebounds and an assist, but he is in the midst of an awful slide right now. He is 8-of-33 (24.2 percent) from the field over the past two outings, and went without a triple for just the second time in the past 13 games. His scoring is nearly five points down per game than last season in New York, and roughly seven per outing off of his career numbers. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:20 pm

  • Omri Casspi (back) won't play on Saturday
Omri Casspi (back) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Raptors.

Advice: Casspi said he felt discomfort in his back while going through his pre-game routine, but he's hopeful he'll be able to get back out there for Monday's game against the Cavs. With him unavailable tonight, Nick Young and Andre Iguodala will split his minutes, but that doesn't mean much in fantasy hoops. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:36 pm

  • Nikola Mirotic (illness) will play Saturday
Nikola Mirotic (illness) will play Saturday vs. the Pistons.

Advice: Mirotic should be back in his standard 25-minute bench role tonight in his return from a two-game stint on the sidelines, which will result in fewer minutes for Bobby Portis and Lauri Markkanen. The Bulls can officially trade Mirotic on January 15, so this could be his final game in a Chicago uniform. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:21 pm

  • Larry Nance exits game cut above left eye
Larry Nance exited Saturday's game with a cut above his left eye and did not return, finishing with two points and seven boards in 19 minutes off the bench.

Advice: The extent of Nance's injury is currently unclear at this point, but he'll likely be evaluated for a concussion, and there's a chance he could sit out Monday's game in Memphis. If he does indeed hit the sidelines on Monday, that would open up minutes for Julius Randle and Kyle Kuzma. Check back for another update following Monday morning's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 1:45 pm
  • Jayson Tatum (knee) doesn't practice Saturday
Jayson Tatum (knee) did not practice on Saturday, and he's scheduled for a precautionary MRI.

Advice: Tatum tweaked his knee during Thursday's game in London, but we'll wait for the MRI results before making any proclamations about his status for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans. If this is something that requires Tatum to miss time, Marcus Morris would likely move into the starting five, and there would be more minutes available for guys like Daniel Theis and Jaylen Brown. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 11:17 am

  • Omri Casspi (back) questionable Saturday
Omri Casspi (back soreness) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Raptors.

Advice: Casspi's back has been bothering him for a while, and it forced him to sit out Friday's win over the Bucks. If Casspi is unable to play on Saturday as well, Andre Iguodala and Nick Young would likely see a few extra minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:34 am

  • Draymond Green solid across the board
Draymond Green finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and a steal over 37 minutes in Friday's 108-94 win at Milwaukee.

Advice: Green hit 8-of-17 from the field, including 1-of-4 from behind the arc, while hitting 4-of-4 from the free-throw line. He bounced back nicely after an egg-laying in Wednesday's game against the Clippers when he shot just 1-of-9. He has rolled up 10 or more rebounds in five of his six games in the month of January to make his fantasy owners happy. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:17 pm
    GTD

  • Kevin Looney solid in his hometown
Kevon Looney finished with nine points, eight rebounds, three assists and a blocked shot across 23 minutes Friday in Milwaukee, his hometown.

Advice: Looney connected on 3-of-3 from the field, and he was 3-of-4 from the free-throw line. He could carry over the momentum into Saturday's game at Toronto and be a nice low-cost DFS option, especially if Kevin Durant (calf) is unavailable in the back-to-back set. Circle back around Saturday for the latest on KD, as Looney could be one of the biggest beneficiaries of his potential absence. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:15 pm

  • Kevin Durant busy at the offensive end
Kevin Durant finished with 26 points, six assists, six rebounds and two steals over 36 minutes in Friday's game at Milwaukee.

Advice: Durant was a solid 12-of-20 from the field, including 2-of-6 from behind the arc. If fantasy owners really want to quibble, they can find fault in his 0-of-2 night at the free-throw line and zero blocked shots. But don't be greedy. Circle back around tomorrow afternoon to double-check that he'll be available for Saturday night's game at Toronto, as he is fresh off a strained right calf and his status in back-to-back situations is uncertain. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:11 pm

  • Anthony Davis back with a big game
Anthony Davis (ankle) was not only back in the lineup on Friday against Portland, he erupted for 36 points across 41 minutes on 16-of-23 shooting.

Advice: No rust here, as 'The Brow' was on fire. He grabbed nine rebounds while posting two assists and two blocked shots, and head coach Alvin Gentry was true to his word by not limiting the minutes of the big man. Davis did not have any ill effects from the ankle whice sidelined him for Wednesday's game. Get him back active in all fantasy leagues for Sunday's tilt on New York. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:53 pm

  • DeMarcus Cousins flirts with triple-double
DeMarcus Cousins posted 24 points, 19 rebounds and eight assists with two blocked shots over 36 minutes in Friday's victory against the Trail Blazers.

Advice: Boogie was on point in this one, nearly notching his fifth 20-20 game of the season. He has managed three games with 20 or more points and 19 or more boards across his past six outings, and he has posted two blocked shots in each of the past four starts. As long as he continues to maintain his composure on the court, he is a fantasy stud. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:51 pm
  • Al-Farouq Aminu notches double-double
Al-Farouq Aminu finished with 19 points, 11 rebounds and three steals over 35 minutes in Friday's 119-113 loss at New Orleans.

Advice: Aminu hit 7-of-16 from the floor, including 3-of-9 from behind the arc, and he finished with a team-best plus-16 rating. In fact, he was the only Blazers player in double digits in the category. This was a nice game, but he has posted some pretty awful stat lines lately, too. In fact, he has yet to post back-to-back double-digit scoring totals so far through seven games in January. He is a bit erratic in terms of fantasy production, but remains a decent add in category leagues, especially 9-cat. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:15 pm

  • Derrick Favors struggles in return
Derrick Favors (ankle) was quiet on offense in his return to action on Friday vs. the Hornets, scoring five points on 2-of-4 shooting with seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 29 minutes.

Advice: Dwight Howard and the Hornets have allowed the second fewest fantasy points to centers this season, so the matchup didn't do him any favors. Rudy Gobert (knee) is scheduled to be re-evaluated later this weekend and the Jazz have been linked to Chicago's Nikola Mirotic, so Favors' rest-of-season outlook is a little bleak unless he is a part of any deal. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:50 pm
  • Anthony Davis (ankle) available for Friday
Anthony Davis (ankle) is available on Friday vs. Portland.

Advice: His ankle is feeling a lot better and coach Alvin Gentry said he won't have any restrictions, so he'll see his normal allotment of minutes as long as his ankle holds up. Check back after the game for an update. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:13 pm

  • Gentry expects Davis (ankle) to play Friday
Alvin Gentry said he expects Anthony Davis (ankle) to play Friday vs. Portland.

Advice: Davis said he was feeling "a lot better" after shootaround, so it looks like he'll be taking the court tonight following a one-game stint on the sidelines. Gentry said that he won't have any sort of minutes limit if he plays, so Davis owners can feel good about rolling him out there for what should be an uptempo game against Portland. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:19 pm

  • Omri Casspi (back soreness) out Friday
Omri Casspi (back soreness) will not play on Friday vs. the Bucks.

Advice: This issue has been lingering for weeks, so the Warriors will play it safe like they normally do. Andre Iguodala and Nick Young may pick up a few extra minutes in his absence. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:15 pm

  • Derrick Favors (ankle) will start on Friday
Updating a previous report, Derrick Favors (ankle) will be in the starting lineup for Friday's matchup with Charlotte.

Advice: Favors only missed one game with the minor ankle issue, and there haven't been any reports of a minutes limit, so owners can feel free to throw him out there for tonight's game. Ekpe Udoh will return to the bench, and as a reserve, Udoh can't be considered a viable target in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:10 pm
  • Derrick Favors (ankle) will play on Friday
Derrick Favors (ankle) will play Friday vs. the Hornets.

Advice: Favors missed Wednesday's game with the minor right ankle sprain, but he's a full four days off, so he should be good to go without any restrictions tonight. With Favors back in the mix, Ekpe Udoh will lose most of his value with the return to the second unit, and Jonas Jerebko won't play as much. Rotoworld.com Friday, 2:33 pm
  • Omri Casspi (back) questionable Friday
Omri Casspi (back soreness) is listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Bucks.

Advice: Casspi has been dealing with lingering back soreness for weeks now. If he is unable to play, Andre Iguodala, who is listed as probable, and Nick Young would likely see a few more minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:45 am

  • Nikola Mirotic (illness) will play Saturday
Nikola Mirotic (illness) practiced on Friday and is expected to play Saturday against the Pistons.

Advice: Mirotic has missed each of the last two games due to a stomach bug but is on track to return to the lineup Saturday night. Mirotic has cooled off slightly since his red-hot start, but is still averaging 17.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.8 3-pointers per game this season. With Mirotic back in the mix, Lauri Markkanen and Bobby Portis will see their playing time reduced a bit. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:24 am

  • Anthony Davis (ankle) remains questionable
Anthony Davis (right ankle) said he is feeling "a lot better" but is uncertain if he will play Friday vs. Portland.

Advice: When asked how he was feeling and if he would be able to play this evening, Davis responded: "I'm feeling a lot better. We'll see when the time comes." Thus, it appears we are headed towards a game-time decision. If Davis is unable to play, Dante Cunningham would likely draw another start, with Cheick Diallo and Omer Asik seeing spot minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:17 am

  • Larry Nance double-doubles off bench
Larry Nance played 30 minutes and hit 6-of-9 shots, including a highlight-reel dunk, for 14 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block on Thursday.

Advice: Brook Lopez and Julius Randle never got it going in this one, giving Nance a chance to shine off the pine. He's been playing well, especially in his last three games, and is holding ninth-round fantasy value this season, despite the presence of Randle and Kyle Kuzma, who hit just 3-of-12 shots tonight. Nance is worth owning, but he's not going to be all that reliable on nights when Randle, who failed to score in this one, and Kuzma are doing work. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:14 pm
  • Blake Griffin returns w/ 18 points, 12 boards
Blake Griffin returned from a two-game absence with a concussion and hit 5-of-14 shots, two 3-pointers and 6-of-6 free throws for 18 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and a steal in 33 minutes.

Advice: The fact he only missed two games is encouraging for his for owners and he looked pretty good tonight. He'll look to get fully back on track against the Kings on Saturday. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:07 pm

  • Blake Griffin and Milos Teodosic will play
Blake Griffin (concussion) and Milos Teodosic (foot) will play on Thursday vs. the Kings.

Advice: Griffin has officially cleared the concussion protocol after a two-game absence. The Clippers played Blake for 32 minutes on Dec. 29 when he returned from a month-long absence (knee injury), so he may not have restrictions tonight. We'll let you know how he looks after the game, but with Griffin back that means Sam Dekker and Montrezl Harrell will lose most of their value. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:36 pm

  • Anthony Davis (ankle) questionable for Friday
Anthony Davis (right ankle) is officially questionable for Friday's game vs. the Blazers.

Advice: Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said on Wednesday that there was a "good chance" Davis would be ready to go vs. Portland. We'll assume he's a bit closer to 'probable', therefore, but should know more after Friday's shootaround. If he is ultimately ruled out, expect Dante Cunningham to earn another start with DeMarcus Cousins being even more of a focal point offensively. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 12:43 pm

  • Derrick Favors (ankle) probable for Friday
Derrick Favors (sprained ankle) is probable for Friday's game vs. the Hornets.

Advice: Favors practiced on Thursday, so unless there's a setback at shootaround it looks like he'll be back in action. Ekpe Udoh thrived as a fill-in starter on Wednesday, with 16 points, nine rebounds, four steals and two blocks, but Favors' return would be a direct hit to his value. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 12:06 pm
  • Blake Griffin (concussion) questionable Thurs
Blake Griffin (concussion) is listed as questionable vs. the Kings on Thursday.

Advice: Milos Teodosic (foot) is also questionable tonight, and both guys could be headed for game-time decisions. We haven't heard about Blake officially clearing the league's concussion protocol, but the 'questionable' tag suggests he's at least getting close. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:46 am

  • Kevin Durant w/ 40 pts, passes 20k for career
Kevin Durant (right calf strain) returned from a two-game absence on Wednesday with 40 points on pristine 14-of-18 shooting, making 6-of-7 threes with four boards and four assists.

Advice: Durant added one steal, one block and a 6-of-8 mark at the free-throw line, and he did his damage in just 31 minutes tonight -- in the process, he became the 44th player in NBA history to score at least 20,000 points. The Warriors fell apart when he was off the court, though, and they gave up 125 points to the severely depleted Clippers tonight, which led to Durant being rested for the final 3:03 as the score got out of hand. All signs point to KD being ready for Friday's game vs. the Bucks, but owners should double-check his status since it's the first game of a back-to-back set. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:48 pm

  • Draymond Green (knee) logs 29 minutes
Draymond Green (right knee soreness) had seven points, 10 rebounds and four assists in 29 minutes vs. the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: He went 5-of-6 from the FT line tonight, but shot 1-of-9 from the field while missing all six of his 3-point attempts. This is the sixth time all season he's been held without any defensive stats, so that's nothing to worry about. Despite being a constant presence on Golden State's injury report, Dray hasn't missed a game since Dec. 20. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:48 pm

  • JaMychal Green breaks out for 20 & 14
JaMychal Green broke out for 20 points and 14 rebounds on Wednesday, hitting 7-of-12 FGs and 6-of-6 FTs with two assists, two steals and one block in 34 minutes.

Advice: This is the first time all season that Green has scored double-digit points in three straight games, and the first time since Nov. 13 that he's played at least 30 minutes. He took advantage of a short-handed Pelicans team tonight, which was playing without Anthony Davis (ankle), so we're still skeptical of him, but it can't hurt to grab him in deeper leagues in case his upswing proves to be sustainable. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:04 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins hits 12-of-17 FTs, scores 29
DeMarcus Cousins led the Pelicans with 29 points on Wednesday, hitting 6-of-15 FGs and 12-of-17 FTs with five 3-pointers, eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks.

Advice: Anthony Davis (sprained right ankle) was out tonight, so predictably Cousins was very busy despite being the focal point of the Memphis defense. He committed five turnovers tonight but that's nothing new, as his 5.0 miscues per game lead the NBA by a wide margin (Russell Westbrook is second at 4.5). Cousins hasn't missed a game this season, of course, so it's all good for his fantasy owners Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:45 pm
  • Andre Drummond w/ 22 & 20, DET decimates BKN
Andre Drummond punished the Nets in the paint on Wednesday, racking up 22 points, 20 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in 31 minutes.

Advice: Drummond did whatever he wanted vs. starting Tyler Zeller and backups Jarrett Allen and Jahlil Okafor tonight, but that's not a big surprise. The Nets are giving up the third-most rebounds to opposing frontcourts (only the Kings and Lakers yield more), and this was a perfect matchup for Drummond. He hit 9-of-15 FGs and 4-of-6 FTs, and should also fare well vs. Robin Lopez and the Bulls on Saturday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:05 pm
  • Carmelo Anthony has disastrous shooting night
Carmelo Anthony finished with 15 points over 31 minutes in Wednesday's 104-88 loss at Minnesota, hitting just 5-of-19 from the floor.

Advice: It was an ugly stat line for 'Melo, as he added just one rebounds and no other contributions while turning it over twice and finishing with a minus-17 rating. He just kept jacking up shots, but it was like trying to drop a basketball into a soup can. He and his fantasy owners will look for better results on Saturday in Charlotte. Perhaps a few days off the court will do him some good. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:49 pm

  • John Henson pulls down 14 and 10 vs. Orlando
John Henson was able to post 14 points, 10 rebounds and two blocked shots over 30 minutes in Wednesday's 110-103 win against the visiting Magic.

Advice: Henson ended up with a solid plus-22 rating on the evening, and he was a very efficient 7-of-11 from the field while also chipping in with an assist and just two turnovers. He is in the midst of his best run of the season, averaging 12.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game over the past three. Henson will shoot for his season-high fourth consecutive game with 10 or more points when the Warriors come to Cream City on Friday night. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:58 pm

  • Kristaps Porzingis scores 24 points in loss
Kristaps Porzingis scored 24 points with six rebounds, one assist and four blocks in a double-overtime loss to the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: After the first quarter, he really disappeared in this game with only four points in the second, third and fourth quarters, but Porzingis did show up in overtime with a dunk at the buzzer (video in link below). He was 0-of-4 from the line in this game, but that seems like a fluke after going 17-of-18 in his previous three games. The Unicorn will be a stud as long as he's in the lineup. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:46 pm
  • Anthony Davis out, Cunningham starting
Anthony Davis (ankle) will sit out Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, and Dante Cunningham will start in his place.

Advice: While Cunningham will get the start, he rarely brings meaningful statistics to the box score regardless of his minutes allotment, so he's still not a great target in most leagues. Per nbawowy.com, with Davis off the court, DeMarcus Cousins' usage rate spikes to 38.2, so he'll be a very attractive DFS target today. The Pelicans play again on Friday against Portland, and for now, we'll be considering Davis questionable for that one. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:37 pm

  • Nikola Mirotic (illness) ruled out Wednesday
Nikola Mirotic (illness) has been ruled out of Wednesday's game vs. the Knicks.

Advice: This will be the second straight game Mirotic has missed due to a stomach bug. Lauri Markkanen and Bobby Portis will both see an uptick in minutes on Wednesday. Portis scored 22 points and grabbed four boards in 33 minutes off the bench Monday vs. Rockets. Markkanen had 16 points and eight boards in 35 minutes. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:04 pm

  • Derrick Favors (ankle) won't play Wednesday
Derrick Favors (right ankle sprain) will not play Wednesday vs. the Wizards.

Advice: This is very surprising news, as Favors has been able to practice this week and was listed as probable on the injury report. The Jazz are still without Rudy Gobert (knee), so they are very thin upfront. Jonas Jerebko, Ekpe Udoh and Thabo Sefolosha should all be expected to see an uptick in minutes on Wednesday. The Jazz will also likely be forced to play a lot of 'small ball' with undersized lineups. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:40 pm
  • Serge Ibaka & James Johnson suspended 1 game
Serge Ibaka and James Johnson have each received a one-game suspension as a result of their altercation Tuesday night.

Advice: This was the expected outcome after the two players exchanged punches Tuesday in Toronto. Assuming Ibaka doesn't appeal his suspension, he will serve his suspension Thursday night vs. Cleveland. Pascal Siakam will likely draw the start in place of Ibaka and is an intriguing DFS option. Jakob Poeltl and Lucas Nogueira could also see additional minutes off the bench on Thursday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 1:12 pm
  • Draymond Green (knee) available Wednesday
Draymond Green (knee) is available to play Wednesday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: As expected, Green, who was listed as probable, will suit up to take on the Clippers. Because both Stephen Curry (sprained right ankle) and Klay Thompson (rest) have been ruled out, Green and Kevin Durant will be popular DFS plays on Wednesday evening. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 12:56 pm
    GTD

  • Durant, Green & Iggy available to play Wed
Kevin Durant (right calf strain), Draymond Green (right knee soreness) and Andre Iguodala (left knee & hip soreness) are all available to play Wednesday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Durant will be back in the lineup after missing each of the Warriors last three games. With Stephen Curry (sprained right ankle) and Klay Thompson (rest) both ruled out Wednesday night, Durant should see a massive spike in his usage rate and will likely log as many minutes as he can handle. Despite being fresh off a three-game absence, he will be a very tempting DFS target this evening. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 12:41 pm

  • Blake Griffin (concussion) will not play Wed
Blake Griffin (concussion) will not play Wednesday vs. Golden State.

Advice: This is not surprising, as Griffin said on Tuesday that he was expecting to miss this contest. The Clippers next game is Thursday vs. the Kings, and there is an outside chance he clears concussion protocol by then. Wes Johnson, Sam Dekker and Montrezl Harrell should continue to divvy up additional minutes in Griffin's absence. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:19 am

  • Nikola Mirotic (illness) doubtful Wednesday
Nikola Mirotic (illness) did not go through shootaround and he is doubtful to play Wednesday vs. the Knicks.

Advice: It looks like Mirotic will miss his second game in a row tonight, and with just one more game on the schedule for Chicago until January 15 (when Mirotic can be traded), he may have already suited up for his final game with the Bulls. Lauri Markkanen and Bobby Portis will split most of his minutes tonight, but with a difficult matchup against Kristaps Porzingis, they're somewhat less desirable DFS targets. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:58 am

  • Derrick Favors could be dealt for Mirotic
Trade talks regarding a Derrick Favors-Nikola Mirotic swap have reportedly progressed past the preliminary stages and are now getting serious.

Advice: Favors and Mirotic make roughly the same amount of money, so this could be a straight-up swap, although the Bulls reportedly would like a first-round pick as well. If the Bulls bring on Favors without parting ways with Robin Lopez, Favors would find himself in an unfavorable situation fighting for minutes in Chicago's crowded frontcourt. A trade can't officially go down until January 15, and the Bulls have also received interest from the Pistons, so it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:17 am
  • Kevin Durant (calf) will play on Wednesday
Kevin Durant (calf) will play Wednesday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Durant will be returning from a three-game absence tonight, and there's been no word on any sort of minutes limit, so owners can deploy him with confidence with a favorable matchup against the Clippers. For what it's worth, if Durant can score at least 25 points tonight, he'll become the second-youngest player in NBA history (behind LeBron James) to hit the 20,000-point mark. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:05 am

  • Serge Ibaka and James Johnson ejected
Serge Ibaka and James Johnson were both ejected on Tuesday.

Advice: Ibaka gave a little shove to Johnson and both players threw a punch just a moment after. It's possible that the NBA will suspend Ibaka, so consider him questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Cavaliers. If he does miss time, Pascal Siakam will see a bump in minutes and Jonas Valanciunas would benefit as well. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:01 pm
  • Draymond Green (knee) probable for Wednesday
Draymond Green (knee) is probable for Wednesday's game vs. the Clippers.

Advice: He's been listed as probable the last few games, so there's no reason to expect him to sit. The Warriors do have a back-to-back set on Friday and Saturday, so they may be tempted to rest him in one of those. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 5:07 pm
    GTD

  • Blake Griffin does not expect to play vs. GSW
Blake Griffin (concussion) said he's not expecting to play on Wednesday vs. the Warriors.

Advice: Griffin was doing some bike work on Monday and coach Doc Rivers said then that he still has a few more tests to pass in the concussion protocol. The Clippers do play again on Thursday vs. the Kings, so maybe he'll be back in time for that one. With Griffin out, we should see more minutes falling to guys like Wes Johnson, Sam Dekker and Montrezl Harrell. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 4:40 pm

  • Mike Muscala (ankle) probable for Wednesday
Mike Muscala (ankle) is listed as probable for Wednesday's game vs. Denver.

Advice: Muscala has been listed a probable in each of the Hawks last three games and has played in each contest. However, he has very minimal fantasy value, as he's averaging just 4.7 points and 3.3 rebounds in 8.3 minutes over those three games. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 3:33 pm

  • Report: Pistons interested in Nikola Mirotic
The Pistons have reportedly expressed interest in Nikola Mirotic.

Advice: The Pistons and Jazz have now officially been named as teams that are looking to acquire the 26-year-old power forward, but the Bulls can't officially trade him until January 15. They're reportedly seeking a first-round selection in any Mirotic trade, but it is worth noting that a clause was put into Mirotic's contract this summer that gives him veto power in any trade. However, with Mirotic being the one that requested the trade in the first place, that veto thing might not end up being an issue. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 2:10 pm

  • Favors (right ankle) participates at practice
Derrick Favors (right ankle sprain) went through portions of Tuesday's practice and he remains probable to play Wednesday vs. the Wizards.

Advice: Favors has been able to practice two days in a row, so he should be fine for Wednesday's game. Check back for another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 1:22 pm
  • Kevin Durant (calf) probable for Wednesday
Kevin Durant (calf) participated in Tuesday's practice and is being listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers.

Advice: Durant was also able to get up some shots at shootaround on Monday, so him getting through Tuesday's practice partnered with the probable tag is extremely encouraging regarding his status for Wednesday's game. If he is able to get back out there, Andre Iguodala will return to the bench and Stephen Curry's usage will take a slight hit. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:03 pm

  • Anthony Davis (ankle) unlikely to play Wed
Coach Alvin Gentry said that there is a "good chance" that Anthony Davis (right ankle sprain) won't play Wednesday vs. Memphis.

Advice: Davis sprained his ankle on Monday night and limped to the locker room. He was ruled out shortly thereafter. The good news is that X-rays on the ankle came back negative and Gentry told reporters on Tuesday that the issue with Davis' ankle is not structural. Assuming Davis is unable to play Wednesday, Dante Cunningham and Cheick Diallo would likely see an uptick in minutes. Omer Asik might also re-enter the rotation. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 11:01 am

  • Nikola Mirotic (illness) questionable for Wed
Nikola Mirotic (stomach bug) will travel to New York with the team but is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Mirotic has been dealing with the illness since the weekend and unable to play Monday vs. Houston. Bobby Portis was the primary beneficiary with Mirotic sidelined on Monday. Portis logged 33 minutes vs. the Rockets and finished with 22 points, four rebounds and two assists. Portis will be a popular DFS target if Mirotc is ruled out of Wednesday's game. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:22 am

  • O'Quinn and Hernangomez receiving interest
Teams have contacted the Knicks about potentially trading for Kyle O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez, according to the New York Post.

Advice: According to the Post report, "the Knicks have received more inquiries about Hernangomez than anyone else on their roster" and "a couple of playoff-bound teams have asked about O’Quinn as a rental." The Knicks have a logjam at center, which is why New York is motivated to deal one of their four centers. This will be a situation to keep an eye on as we move closer to the February trade deadline. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:42 am
  • Draymond Green fills boxscore vs. Nuggets
Draymond Green (knee) notched 23 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, three blocks, two 3-pointers and one steal in 35 minutes during Monday's win vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: Green's constant presence on the Warriors' injury report makes him seem like more of an injury risk than he really has been -- other than a mid-December stretch with five DNPs, he's missed just one game (Nov. 24). He also averaged 38.0 minutes in a back-to-back set in early January, which is a great sign, and owners shouldn't fret about his availability until the bitter end of the regular season. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:38 pm

  • Omri Casspi (hip) plays 14 minutes vs. Denver
Omri Casspi (bruised hip) had four points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 14 minutes during Monday's home win vs. Denver.

Advice: Casspi's appeal in 12-team fantasy leagues is negligible, although he's occasionally worth streaming if Kevin Durant is out. Tonight, Durant was out with a calf injury tonight, which gave Casspi just enough playing time, but that could end vs. the Clippers on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:30 pm

  • Labissiere plays 22 minutes off the bench
Skal Labissiere returned to the bench on Monday vs. the Spurs, scoring six points with eight rebounds, two assists and one steal in 22 minutes.

Advice: Zach Randolph was back with the starters after a one-game absence. The Kings have been featuring Z-Bo on offense all season even though this year is supposed to be about player development, so hopefully they give Labissiere more run sooner rather than later. He's just a stash until that happens. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:25 pm
  • Davis Bertans scores career-high 28 points
Davis Bertans scored a career-high 28 points in Monday's 107-100 win over the Kings, hitting 11-of-15 shots with three assists, two blocks and six 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: His six triples tied Manu Ginobili for the most triples by a Spur this season. He's been a consistent part of the rotation since the new year and has been tremendous with at least two triples in each of his last five games. He's averaging 14.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 blocks and 3.0 triples in 27.0 minutes in that span, so he's trending up in a hurry. The Spurs are really banged up and rest their veterans a ton, so give Bertans a look if you need triples. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:30 pm
  • Andre Drummond (ribs) looks great w/ 16 & 14
Andre Drummond (sore ribs) finished Monday's tough road loss with 16 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 39 minutes.

Advice: The rib injury is a question of pain tolerance for Drummond, but he looked great in heavy minutes during a very physical game tonight. Five of his boards came on the offensive glass, and the only negatives were four turnovers and an 0-of-2 mark at the FT line. He should be ready to go vs. the Nets on Wednesday, but owners should still confirm his status prior to tip-off. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:00 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins gets 20 & 10, plus a tech
DeMarcus Cousins had 20 points (7-of-14 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks and five turnovers in 40 minutes on Monday.

Advice: Cousins didn't score in the first quarter and he let his frustration boil over with a technical foul. That gives him eight technicals after the Pelicans' first 39 games, so he's on pace to flirt with the maximum 16-tech limit this regular season. Anthony Davis sprained his ankle late tonight and didn't return, leaving him questionable for Wednesday's game in Memphis -- if he can't suit up, Cousins should have an atmospheric usage rate. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:38 pm
  • Serge Ibaka double-doubles w/ 5 blocks
Serge Ibaka double-doubled with 11 points, 12 rebounds, two steals, one triple and a season-high six blocks in 39 minutes against the Nets on Monday.

Advice: His five blocks were his most since he had six back on April 2, 2017. Ibaka didn’t have it going offensively and missed a couple easy looks, but we’re not about to complain about this line. He’s been flirting with top-30 value in 9-category leagues over the past month and is showing some bounce that he didn’t have earlier in the season. He gets a matchup with the Heat on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:14 pm
  • Blake Griffin has a few more tests to pass
Blake Griffin (concussion) was doing some bike work at Monday's shootaround.

Advice: Head coach Doc Rivers said Griffin still has a few more tests to pass before he is out of the concussion protocol. His status for the back-to-back set coming up on Wednesday and Thursday is to be determined, so we'll be on the lookout for an update on Tuesday. Montrezl Harrell and Sam Dekker will both be asked to step up in his absence. Rotoworld.com Monday, 6:23 pm

  • SVG says Drummond will start on Monday
Stan Van Gundy said that Andre Drummond (ribs) will be in the starting lineup for Monday's matchup with the Pelicans.

Advice: Drummond was listed as probable, a full participant at shootaround and also posted on his Instagram account, "feel good to be back!" so owners in season-long settings can deploy him with confidence. Van Gundy said that Ish Smith, Avery Bradley and Tobias Harris will join Drummond in the starting five tonight, but he wouldn't commit to a fifth starter, which suggests Anthony Tolliver could replace Reggie Bullock in the starting unit to better matchup with New Orleans' bully ball lineup. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 2:54 pm
  • Blake Griffin, Teodosic out Monday vs. ATL
Blake Griffin (concussion) and Milo Teodosic (foot) have been ruled out for Monday's game against the Hawks.

Advice: No surprises here as both guys were being listed as doubtful. Montrezl Harrell and Jawun Evans will likely be starting tonight, and Harrell might be someone to think about as a deep league streamer or DFS punt play. There should also be more opportunity for guys like Sam Dekker and Wes Johnson, while Lou Williams' usage rate could go into the ridiculous range tonight. The Clippers have a Wednesday-Thursday back-to-back set coming up, and for now, we'll be considering Griffin questionable for those games. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 2:17 pm

  • Derrick Favors (ankle) probable for Wednesday
Derrick Favors (right ankle sprain) is being listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Advice: It's weird that Favors is being listed with an ankle injury, as that didn't appear to be an issue during Sunday's loss to the Heat, but the probable tag suggests this is nothing. Favors was able to get through portions of Monday's practice, and with another full day off until Wednesday's game, he should be fine. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 1:31 pm
  • Mike Muscala (ankle) probable for Monday
Mike Muscala (ankle) is probable to play Monday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Muscala will likely be given the probable tag for the next month because that's just what Atlanta does. He's not worth owning anywhere. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 12:43 pm

  • Draymond Green (knee) available to play Mon
Draymond Green (right knee soreness) will be available to play Monday vs. Denver.

Advice: Green played through the sore knee on Saturday, and he'll be doing the same thing tonight. He'll have the opportunity to operate with the rock in his hands slightly more than usual with Kevin Durant (calf) unavailable, so maybe he messes around with a triple-double in what will be a favorable matchup with the Nuggets. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 12:24 pm

  • Kevin Durant (calf) ruled out for Monday
Kevin Durant (calf) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Nuggets.

Advice: Durant was able to get up some shots at shootaround, which suggests he's getting close, but with him unavailable tonight Andre Iguodala will have another opportunity to start while more minutes will fall to Omri Casspi and Nick Young. Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will all split KD's usage. The Dubs play against on Wednesday vs. the Clippers, and for now, we'll be considering Durant questionable for that one. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 12:15 pm

  • Durant (calf) gets up shots at shootaround
Kevin Durant (calf) was able to get up some shots at shootaround.

Advice: The Dubs are still listing him as questionable for Monday's game against the Nuggets, but him getting through shootaround is a positive sign. He's likely going to be a game-time call tonight, and if he is able to get back out there, Andre Iguodala will return to the second unit and Stephen Curry's usage will take a minor hit. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 11:36 am

  • Pelicans 'determined' to re-sign Cousins
The Pelicans are "determined" to re-sign DeMarcus Cousins in free agency this summer.

Advice: ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski said the franchise hasn't invited trade offers on Boogie, and that makes sense with the team sitting in 8th place in the Western Conference. Unless the Pelicans have a terrible stretch before the trade deadline, we'd imagine that they will be buyers (wing depth) and not sellers. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 10:14 am
  • Andre Drummond (ribs) probable for Monday
Andre Drummond (ribs) is probable for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Drummond went through shootaround and is on track to start on Monday barring a setback in warmups. Assuming Drummond plays, Boban Marjanovic and Eric Moreland will lose pretty much all of their streaming appeal. Drummond is a bit risky in DFS because this is an injury that is easy to aggravate like we saw on Friday, but season-long owners can pencil him into lineups. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 9:43 am
  • Kevin Durant talks about calf injury
Kevin Durant (right calf strain) is listed as questionable to play vs. the Nuggets on Monday.

Advice: "I wouldn’t say it’s the end game. But more so, I need to feel better," Durant said. "I’m not thinking about playoffs or how to get rest. I just want my calf to feel better so I can go out there and play the way I play. I don’t want any restrictions out there." He's dealing with a legitimate injury and it's unclear if he was able to practice on Sunday. He's missed the last two games for Golden State, but we won't know more about his status until shootaround. Andre Iguodala (knee, hip) will be a streaming option if Durant can't go. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 6:35 am

  • Larry Nance hits 6-of-6 FGs for 13 points
Larry Nance (illness) finished Sunday's game with 13 points on 6-of-6 shooting, adding eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 24 minutes.

Advice: Nance didn't miss any games despite battling 'flu-like symptoms' the past few days. L.A. recently waived Andrew Bogut to avoid guaranteeing his contract for the rest of the season, but Nance's playing time is still unlikely to climb while Julius Randle, Brook Lopez and Kyle Kuzma are clogging up frontcourt minutes. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 10:29 pm
  • Carmelo Anthony chips in quietly on Sunday
Carmelo Anthony shot 6-of-14 to score 14 points on Sunday, but he chipped in four rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes.

Advice: The Thunder went 12-5 during a busy month of December, and they've appreciated the slower pace in January. "We can exhale a little bit, get a couple days of practice, fine tune some things, get our bodies right and get our minds right," said Melo. He's accepted his role as a spot-up shooter in OKC, and it had been paying dividends -- he came in averaging 21.3 points on 58.5% shooting in the past three games. He'll get three games next week, beginning Tuesday vs. the visiting Trail Blazers. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 8:37 pm

  • Kyle O'Quinn racks up 15 & 11 w/ full line
Kyle O'Quinn scored 15 points with 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in just 23 minutes on Sunday.

Advice: The veteran made 6-of-7 shots, with all but one of his shots coming inside the paint -- he knows how to play to his strengths. Despite playing only 17.0 minutes over the past month, he's carved out standard-league roto value as a source of rebounds (5.2), blocks (1.1) and FG percentages (63.6% on 5.1 attempts). Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 7:25 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis gets 29 points in road win
Kristaps Porzingis made 9-of-25 FGs and 8-of-8 FTs on Sunday, adding three 3-pointers to finish with 29 points, eight rebounds, one assist and one block in 38 minutes.

Advice: The Knicks improved to 4-14 on the road with tonight's victory in Dallas, which concluded a three-game road trip. Porzingis recently lamented that he's "tired ... so tired," and that the mental aspect of losing makes it harder to fight through physical fatigue. He looked fine in big minutes tonight, but still hasn't made more than half his shots since Dec. 12, a span of 11 games. He gets a few days off before hosting the Bulls on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 7:24 pm
  • Draymond Green probable despite sore knee
Draymond Green (right knee soreness) is probable vs. the Nuggets on Monday.

Advice: Green recently dealt with a sprained left ankle, and he's had back and shoulder issues this season, but none of them have been overly serious. The Warriors are playing it safe with injuries and the fact that Dray is 'probable' suggests he won't miss any time. Check for confirmation after Monday's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 5:39 pm

Advice: There's not a lot of upside for Nance with Julius Randle and Brook Lopez both healthy, but at least he won't miss any games with his recent illness. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 4:51 pm
  • Derrick Favors double-doubles in 32 minutes
Derrick Favors posted an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double on Sunday, to go with one steal, one block and one turnover in 32 minutes.

Advice: Favors did briefly exit the game after Goran Dragic hit him with a knee-to-knee collision on a drive to the hoop, but he didn't need to go to the locker room and after taking a few possessions off, he got right back in there. This could be something that swells up on Favors overnight, but with Utah off until Wednesday, it might not be something that requires him to spend any time on the sidelines. We'll have a better idea on his status for Wednesday's game based on his activity level at practice. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 4:04 pm
  • Andre Drummond (ribs) listed as questionable
Andre Drummond (ribs) is listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Drummond played through his sore ribs on Friday vs. the 76ers, but he re-aggravated the injury and was held out on Saturday vs. Houston. It's unclear if the Pistons will practice on Sunday, but the latest his owners can expect an update is after the Monday morning shootaround. With the Pelicans starting Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins, Eric Moreland and Boban Marjanovic should both get some run if Drummond can't go. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 9:40 am
  • Skal Labissiere goes for a dozen in win
Skal Labissiere finished with 12 points, four rebounds and three blocked shots across 16 minutes in Saturday's 106-98 win against the Nuggets.

Advice: Labissiere was humming right along, especially on the defensive end, and he posted a plus-15 rating. He had no personal fouls, so his minutes were held down because of head coach Dave Joerger. The coach used a nine-player rotation, and three bench players had more minutes than three starters. It's always a hard situation to figure for fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com Jan 6, 9:37 pm
