    • Report: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope headed to Magic
      According to USA Today’s Jeff Zillgitt, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has agreed to a three-year, $66 million deal with the Magic.

      Advice: The Magic have addressed an area of need (3-point shooter) while adding another solid defender to the roster. Caldwell-Pope, who declined a player option worth $15.4 million that would have kept him in Denver, shot 40.6% from three last season and 42.3% during the Nuggets’ run to the title in 2022-23. KCP will have solid fantasy value in Orlando, as he’ll be in the starting lineup alongside Jalen Suggs. This transaction likely takes Orlando out of the Paul George sweepstakes.       Batum doesn't plan to return to the 76ers in free agency, Kelly Iko of The Athletic reports.

Batum saw a significant role in the playoffs, averaging 6.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 28.3 minutes per game during Philadelphia's first-round matchup against the Knicks, proving he still can add value to a team.       According to Kelly Iko of The Athletic, Nicolas Batum will not be re-signing with the 76ers.

      Advice: While Batum gave the 76ers solid minutes last season, re-signing him is not a priority, with Paul George and Klay Thompson being rumored targets.       Advice: Pelicans lead executive David Griffin hinted that significant changes were coming to the team’s roster after they were swept out of the playoffs. Ingram’s name has often been mentioned in the trade rumor mill, as he’s entering the final season of his current contract. Sacramento needs to increase its wing production, so it makes sense that the Kings would come up in the most recent Ingram rumor. Woj notes that Christie has been a “developmental success story” for the Lakers, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be a success story for your fantasy hoops team. The 21-year-old appeared in 67 games (seven starts) in his second NBA season in 2023-24, averaging 4.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 14.1 minutes. He fell out of the rotation during the postseason, but the Lakers' financial commitment to Christie likely suggests he's expected to become more of a key cog on the second unit in 2024-25.
