      Advice: Everyone knows what Tatum can do offensively, and he's now scored at least 33 points in three of his last four games. However, it was his defense on Tyrese Haliburton that was ultimately the difference in this game. Tatum was clutch in overtime, and Boston will now head into Game 2 with a ton of momentum.       Jrue Holiday played 48 minutes in Tuesday’s 133-128 overtime win over Indiana, amassing 28 points (10-of-16 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, eight assists, three steals, and four 3-pointers.

      Advice: Holiday has seemingly found his groove after struggling to begin this postseason. He’s shot 54.5% or better in each of Boston’s last four games, and the 28 points scored in Tuesday’s Game 1 were a postseason high. Holiday was also effective as a distributor and rebounder, with five of his seven boards coming on the offensive end of the floor. With Derrick White (15/6/9/2/1 with three 3-pointers) shooting 5-of-13 from the field, Holiday scoring as efficiently as he did gave the Celtics a welcome boost. Game 2 is on Thursday night.       Jayson Tatum shot 12-of-26 from the field and 10-of-12 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 133-128 overtime win over the Pacers, scoring 36 points with 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two 3-pointers in 45 minutes.

      Advice: Tatum led all scorers with 36 points, and his 3-pointer with a little over 42 seconds remaining in overtime gave Boston a four-point lead. From there, the Celtics did what they needed to do to sew up Game 1. Tatum shot 2-of-8 from three but was considerably more efficient inside the arc. Both teams had some miscues down the stretch, with Boston benefitting from Indiana’s fourth-quarter errors to force overtime.       Advice: Tatum once again led Boston in this round, nearing a triple-double to boost the Celtics to the Eastern Conference Finals. Tatum led all Boston players in scoring, assists and steals while hauling in a double-digit rebound mark and coming up one dime shy of a triple-double. Tatum joined Larry Bird as the only Celtics players with at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and four steals in a playoff game.       Advice: The Celtics may not have blown out the shorthanded Cavaliers as many expected, but the team with the NBA’s best record handled its business to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Tatum finished one assist shy of a triple-double and was highly efficient in Game 5, shooting over 50% from the field while committing only one turnover.       Advice: Tatum did a little bit of everything to lead Boston to taking a commanding 3-1 series lead, pacing all players in Monday's contest in scoring and rebounds while shooting a perfect mark from the free-throw line and adding a handful of assists along with a pair of steals. Tatum has scored 25 or more points in three of his four games against Cleveland, turning things up a notch over the last two contests while posting at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and five dimes in each game. After scoring in double figures in just three of their first seven playoff games, Holiday averaged 17.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.0 block and 3.5 triples in their two games in Cleveland. He is playing like the star they acquired this summer to help push them over the edge, and if he continues to produce to this level, they won’t have any issues closing out the Cavs on Wednesday and advancing to the conference finals.       Advice: Just like they did in the first round, the Celtics responded after a disappointing Game 2 loss. Tatum scored 33 points for the second straight game to help Boston reclaim homecourt advantage and take a 3-1 lead in this series. He got off to a hot start and scored 16 points in the first quarter to help Boston take an early lead. He was much better in their two road games, but he shouldn’t have any issues keeping this production up as they head home to try and close out the series on Wednesday and return to the Eastern Conference Finals.
