    • Nikola Jokic headlines All-NBA First Team quintet
      Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Nikola Jokic were named First-Team All-NBA on Wednesday.

      Advice: The All-NBA first team offered no surprises, including the top four vote-getters for Most Valuable Player. Jokic, who won his third MVP in four seasons, led the way, with Gilgeous-Alexander, Doncic, and Tatum next. Rounding out the squad was Antetokounmpo, named All-NBA for the eighth time in his career.       Brown contributed 26 points (10-20 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-8 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals across 44 minutes during Tuesday's 133-128 overtime victory over the Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

      Advice: This was a great response from Brown after he was held to 11 points in the final game of the previous series against the Cavaliers. He's been terrific for most of the playoffs, to be fair, as he's hitting 54.8 percent from the field while averaging 23.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:36 am
       
    • Jaylen Brown finishes Game 1 win with 26 points
      Jaylen Brown logged 44 minutes in Tuesday’s 133-128 overtime win over Indiana, finishing with 26 points (10-of-20 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), seven rebounds, five assists, three steals, one block, and one 3-pointer.

      Advice: After scoring just 11 points in Boston’s series-clinching win over Cleveland on May 15, Brown got his Eastern Conference Finals off to a good start. The Celtics star has scored 26 points or more in three of the team’s last four games, shooting 50% or better in each. What also has DFS players pleased is the production in other categories, most notably the assists, steals, and blocks. While Brown was responsible for seven assists in that Game 5 victory over Cleveland, the four “stocks” are the most in a game for him this postseason.     • Nikola Jokic goes for 34/19/7/0/1 in Game 7 loss
      Nikola Jokic accumulated 34 points (13-of-28 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), 19 rebounds, seven assists, one block, and two 3-pointers in 47 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Timberwolves.

      Advice: Jokic recorded another elite stat line, but his production tailed off in crunch time. Minnesota’s depth and Denver’s lack of consistent options factored into the Joker playing tired, and the NBA will have its sixth champion in as many seasons. Jokic was once again one of the best players in fantasy basketball, ranking third in 9-cat formats and second in 8-cat. His days as the unquestioned 1.1 pick in drafts may be finished, as Victor Wembanyama appears poised to take over, but Jokic should be no worse than 1.3, regardless of league. Jokic is expected to play for Serbia in the Paris Olympics this summer, and their first group stage game is against the United States (July 27). Rotoworld Sunday, 8:16 pm
       
    • Cason Wallace logs 24 minutes in Game 6 loss
      Cason Wallace shot 2-of-8 from the field in Saturday’s 117-116 loss to the Thunder, scoring five points with one assist, one steal, one block, and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes.

      Advice: Wallace didn’t offer much production in Game 6, but Josh Giddey’s struggles led to the rookie figuring more prominently in the Thunder rotation this series. The first-round pick averaged 21.5 minutes per game against Dallas, four more than his average against the Pelicans in the first round. Wallace wasn’t worth selecting in most redraft leagues before this season, but that could change in 2024-25. That will depend on what happens with Giddey, who is eligible for a rookie extension this summer. Does Oklahoma City extend him, or do they attempt to use Giddey to strengthen the roster (especially the frontcourt)? If Sam Presti decides to make a move, Wallace is one player who could benefit.     • Chet Holmgren records 21/3/1/2 line in Game 6 loss
      Chet Holmgren finished Saturday’s Game 6 loss to the Mavericks with 21 points (9-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

      Advice: Despite scoring 21 points, Holmgren’s final game of the season wasn’t his best. More concerning than the 1-of-7 night from three was the rebounding, with the rookie only grabbing three. By comparison, Mavericks rookie Dereck Lively II grabbed 15 by himself. Holmgren’s struggles to rebound prompted Thunder coach Mark Daigneault to go with a bigger lineup down the stretch, with Jaylin Williams (6/2/2/1/1 with one 3-pointer in 18 minutes) joining the rookie in the frontcourt. Overall, Holmgren had an excellent rookie campaign, finishing second to Victor Wembanyama in Rookie of the Year voting and providing top-20 per-game value in 9-cat formats. Based on his Yahoo ADP, Chet was expected by many to be a 4th-round player. Those days are over; he should not get out of the third round in standard league drafts, and that’s being conservative.     • Can't carry Denver in Game 6
      Jokic contributed 22 points (9-19 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds and two assists across 36 minutes during Thursday's 115-70 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Jokic delivered one of the best performances of his playoff career in Game 5 of the series, but he was unable to repeat those numbers in this woeful loss despite a respectable stat line. Jokic shot under 50 percent from the field for the third time in the series, and the Nuggets have lost every time that has happened. While the entire Nuggets offense must perform better in a do-or-die Game 7 contest on Sunday, Jokic will be the one who sets the tone early on. Rotowire.com Thursday, 9:01 pm

      Nikola Jokic scored a team-high 22 points (9-of-19 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs) on Thursday. He snared nine rebounds to go along with two assists and missed all four of his attempts from 3-point range.

      Advice: Jokic flirted with a double-double but didn’t do nearly enough to keep Denver in Game 5. He shot under 50% from the field for the second time in the series and will get a chance to bounce back for Game 7 back home. Rotoworld Thursday, 8:16 pm

      Jokic supplied 40 points (15-22 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), seven rebounds, 13 assists, one block and two steals over 41 minutes during Tuesday's 112-97 victory over the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Jokic took over during Game 5, leading the Nuggets to a third consecutive victory over the Timberwolves. Despite going up against Rudy Gobert, the Defensive Player of the Year, Jokic had no issues getting what he wanted around the basket and finished with a playoff-high 40 points.
