  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist fills it up vs. BK
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 17 points with 14 rebounds, one assist and two blocks in a 112-105 win over the Nets on Saturday.

Advice: Yep, it's still nice for small forwards to play the Nets. This was his best scoring game since the season opener, making 7-of-11 from the field in this one. Kidd-Gilchrist only made 41.7 percent from the field and his defensive stats have really fallen off. This great game doesn't really move the needle on him. Start small forwards in DFS against the Nets. Rotoworld.com 37 minutes ago
  • Dion Waiters scores season-high 33 points
Dion Waiters hit 12-of-19 shots for a season-high 33 points with three rebounds, three assists, one steal and five 3-pointers in Saturday's 109-97 win against the Bucks.

Advice: Waiters scored 10 points in first quarter, which was the second best performance this season and 20 points in first half, the most he has scored in a half this season. This was his best game of the season and with Tyler Johnson (shoulder) out, Waiters will continue to see a boost in minutes and usage. He should be added in all formats. Rotoworld.com 41 minutes ago
  • Jon Leuer looks good in return
Jon Leuer came off the bench against the Wizards on Saturday, finishing with 10 points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes.

Advice: That's a pretty good game for Leuer after missing five. Coach Stan Van Gundy made it sound like Leuer would eventually be starting, but it actually doesn't really matter too much. The Pistons basically roll with a three-forward rotation, so the playing time will be there. Give Leuer a look if you need a big man. He has mid-round upside when he's rolling. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:29 pm
  • Jason Smith scores season-high 16 points
Jason Smith scored a season-high 16 points with four rebounds, one block and two 3-pointers in 19 minutes against the Pistons on Saturday.

Advice: He's actually seen at least 19 minutes in three straight with garbage time not factoring into this. Smith gets most of his run behind Marcin Gortat, but coach Scott Brooks has run him out there at the four for a total of 22 minutes over those three. The Wizards played some bigger teams in that span against the Grizzlies, Knicks and Pistons, so that may be a factor on the uptick. If he is good again vs. Charlotte on Monday, that may put him on the radar in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:04 pm
  • Evan Turner comes through vs. old team
Evan Turner started again in Boston on Saturday with 12 points, four rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and two turnovers in 40 minutes.

Advice: Unlike in his first revenge game as a starter in Philly, Turner was very good in this game with a little bit of everything on both ends. The Blazers starting unit for the weekend was actually a +11.0 in 29 minutes, so maybe Turner sticks. We're still not looking to add him in most cases. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:45 pm
  • Mile High Buckets: Mo Speights starting
Marreese Speights will start against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Advice: Mo Buckets has been lighting it up with treys in 17 straight, so he'll be taking those into altitude. Speights in a starting role is very intriguing, but it's hard to pick him up long term with Blake Griffin getting closer. If you want to use him for this week, give him a look. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:31 pm
  • Meyers Leonard scores season-high 17 points
Meyers Leonard made 6-of-7 from the field for a season-high 17 points against the Celtics on Saturday, adding four rebounds, one steal and four 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

Advice: He had two of the best dunks for the Blazers on the year with two massive one-handed jams (video in link below). Leonard was a DNP-CD in the last game because Ed Davis (ankle) was used against Joel Embiid. It's all about the matchup for Leonard, so obviously he can't be trusted in most season-long leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:18 pm
  • Darrell Arthur to be inactive often?
Darrell Arthur (knee) is expected to rest and miss practices throughout the season.

Advice: He is dealing with arthritis in his need, so the Nuggets will be cautious with him all season. This is not surprising at all based on his injury history. Arthur may not be in the rotation while Kenneth Faried is active. Leave him on the wire almost everywhere. Rotoworld.com Today, 4:26 pm
  • Courtney Lee to start, Ron Baker to bench
Courtney Lee will start and Ron Baker will come off the bench against the Suns on Saturday.

Advice: After Lee's 'Dumb and Dumber' saga, he's back in the starting lineup. He should play with an extra edge and has a great matchup, so he could hit the ground running. We still wouldn't use Lee in most cases. Rotoworld.com Today, 4:07 pm
  • Dion Waiters sticking in the starting unit
Dion Waiters will stick in the starting lineup against the Bucks on Saturday.

Advice: This is somewhat interesting with Tyler Johnson (shoulder) out. With Goran Dragic as really the only ball-handler, we will probably see Waiters be used in a C.J. McCollum-esque role. In other words, he'll likely be staggered from Goran Dragic to make him the backup one to go with his starting two duties. He should be busy tonight and gains value while Johnson is out. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:56 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb still out for Saturday
Jeremy Lamb (foot) will not play on Saturday against the Nets.

Advice: The updates have been pretty sparse on Lamb, so he's likely looking at a few more games out. With him out, it'll be Marco Belinelli and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist getting more solidified roles. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:38 pm
  • Jon Leuer will play on Saturday
Jon Leuer (knee) will come off the bench against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: The Pistons are making a change compared to when Leuer was healthy. Coach Stan Van Gundy said that Leuer missing five games is why he's going to bring him off the bench. In other words, a good game from Leuer could get him back in the starting lineup. He's worth a look now that he's back. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:30 pm
  • Joel Anthony to sign with Spurs?
Joel Anthony is expected to sign with the Spurs.

Advice: The team is looking for another big man, so they'll go back to Anthony to add some depth. He was with the team at training camp, but was waived on Oct. 22. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:15 pm
  • Jonas Jerebko will not play on Saturday
Jonas Jerebko (illness) will not play against the Blazers on Saturday.

Advice: He was probable, but the team will keep him out. With Jerebko and Tyler Zeller (illness) out, we might get a little Jordan Mickey action. There should be some extra run going to Amir Johnson and Kelly Olynyk as we ll. Olynyk has played well and is a viable option today. He's worth a look in standard leagues, but we've seen him fall off several times. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:23 pm
  • Jonas Jerebko has a cold, is probable
Jonas Jerebko (illness) has a cold and is probable to play against the Blazers on Saturday.

Advice: Considering he's probable, we'll assume Jerebko is good for minutes in the low teens. Although, coach Brad Stevens may opt for Tyler Zeller to be his last big in the rotation. There's little reason to react to this news from a fantasy perspective. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:03 pm
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) practices fully
Patrick Patterson (knee) went through the Raptors full practice on Saturday.

Advice: With Lucas Noguiera (concussion) also sidelined Friday night, the Raps went small and started Norman Powell and DeMarre Carroll at the forward spots. Jared Sullinger and Pascal Siakam saw 17 and 19 minutes, respectively, off the bench. The Raps next game is Sunday vs. Phoenix. We will have to wait for an update regarding Patterson's status for that contest. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:33 am
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) available on Saturday
Darrell Arthur (left knee soreness) will be available to play on Saturday, but will be on a minutes restriction.

Advice: Even once fully healthy, Arthur will have a difficult time earning heavy minutes with Kenneth Faried playing well of late. However, Arthur may cut into the playing time of Faried and Juan Hernangomez. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:28 am
  • X-Rays negative on Nick Young's knee
Nick Young was diagnosed with a hyperextended left knee on Friday night but was able to return to the game and the X-rays taken were negative.

Advice: Young finished with 15 points, five 3-pointers, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 26 minutes. Young said his knee was "a little sore" after the game, "but the win made it feel much better." He should be ready to roll for Sunday's game against the Mavs. In fact, he could see additional minutes if D'Angelo Russell (knee/calf) misses the contest. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:09 am
  • Jon Leuer (knee) probable for Saturday
Jon Leuer (knee) is listed as probable for Saturday's game vs. Washington, but will not be in the starting lineup.

Advice: It appears Leuer is ready to roll after missing each of the Pistons last five games. However, assuming he does play, coach Stan Van Gundy said that he will not start. Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris will start at the forward spots. With Leuer back in the mix, Stanley Johnson's minutes will take a hit. Prior to the injury, Leuer was enjoying his best season as a pro, averaging career-highs in minutes (26.8), points (10.9) rebounds (6.1), field goal percentage (.509) and free-throw percentage (.895) Rotoworld.com Today, 7:42 am
  • Nick Young hits five treys, scores 15 points
Nick Young (knee) returned from an injury scare in Friday's 108-96 win over the Pacers and scored 15 points in 26 minutes.

Advice: He hyperextended his left knee in the second quarter, but X-rays were negative and he returned for the second half. Young was moving well and hit five 3-pointers with three rebounds, one assist and one steal, and while he did say his knee was "a little sore" after the game, he should be fine for Sunday's game vs. Dallas unless the Lakers want to be cautious. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:44 pm
  • Dante Cunningham post a -32
Dante Cunningham scored 14 points with seven rebounds, one assist, one block and four 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the Nets on Friday.

Advice: In the plus-minus stat, he managed an incredible -32. Coach Alvin Gentry insists on starting him to help on switches and perimeter defense, but it's costing him in other areas. He's worth a look in deep leagues, but his low upside makes him a low-demand player. He's actually been decent, as a top-200 player lately. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:43 pm
  • Nick Young (knee) starts second half Friday
Nick Young (knee) started the second half of Friday's game vs. the Pacers.

Advice: He hyperextended his left knee in the second quarter, but X-rays were negative and it sounds like he escaped with a minor tweak. Young is moving well as we report this, but check back after the game for an update. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:02 pm
  • Nick Young (left leg) to the locker room
Nick Young limped to the locker room in the second quarter on Friday.

Advice: He had a tweak to his left knee on a non-contact injury and couldn't put weight on it as he hopped off the floor. Young was in a lot of pain along the baseline for about two minutes before going back to the locker room. If he's out, Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams will be busy. We'll likely see more Jose Calderon and Brandon Ingram, as well. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:29 pm
  • Evan Turner scores four in a start
Evan Turner scored four points with one rebound, five assists, one steal and one block in 28 minutes during a start against the 76ers on Friday.

Advice: Did he start because a revenge game? Will he get another start in a revenge game in Boston on Saturday? Even if he does, this was likely designed to limit Moe Harkless on a back-to-back set, so this isn't likely to stick. Keep Turner on the wire. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:33 pm
  • Bebe Nogueira, Pat Patterson out again
Patrick Patterson (knee) and Lucas Noguiera (concussion) will not play against the Hornets on Friday night.

Advice: We'll see if the Raptors are going to play Jared Sullinger a little more, but it's unlikely to be much more than his 14 minutes. Pascal Siakam should get some added run at power forward, but the Raptors could definitely go small a lot against a smaller four in Marvin Williams. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:05 pm
  • Darrell Arthur listed as questionable
Darrell Arthur (left knee soreness) is listed as questionable to play against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: This is an upgrade from him being listed as doubtful to play on Thursday before the DNP. Arthur is likely out of the rotation anyway with Kenneth Faried playing well. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:09 pm
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) doubtful for Friday
Patrick Patterson (knee) appears unlikely to play Friday vs. Charlotte.

Advice: Patterson has missed four straight games due to knee issues. Lucas Nogueira is also doubtful, leaving the Raps shorthanded in the frontcourt. Pascal Siakam will likely start. Jared Sullinger (foot) returned Wednesday and played 14 minutes. He should see around 15 minutes again on Friday. Norman Powell and Terrence Ross could also see additional minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:35 am
  • Jon Leuer (knee) practices on Friday
Jon Leuer (knee) was a full participant in Friday's practice.

Advice: Leuer has missed five straight games, but appears to be inching closer to a return and may have a shot at returning to the lineup for Saturday's game vs. Washington. Leuer was playing well before his injury. He averaged 12.9 points (on 54.2 percent shooting) and 5.6 rebounds over 14 games in December, retuning ninth-round value. When Leuer does return, Tobias Harris may get bumped back to the bench, and Stanley Johnson will see his minutes reduced. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:10 am
  • Jeremy Lamb (foot) ruled out Friday
Jeremy Lamb (inflamed metatarsal) has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. the Raptors.

Advice: This will be the fourth straight game Lamb has missed due to the foot injury. We have yet to receive a formal indication from the team regarding when Lamb is expected to return to the lineup. Marco Belinelli played well of the Hornets bench on Wednesday, scoring 13 points (on 5-of-8 shooting) and grabbing five boards in 24 minutes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:02 am
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) ruled out for Thursday
Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play on Thursday vs. the Spurs.

Advice: Of course he won't. Arthur can't stay healthy and the Nuggets are going to limit his workload whenever they can. With Wilson Chandler (personal) out and Danilo Gallinari (ankle) questionable, we should see a lot of Kenneth Faried tonight and may even get a Jusuf Nurkic sighting. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:19 am
  • Dante Cunningham hits 7-of-11 FGs for 14 pts
Dante Cunningham earned another start for the Pelicans on Wednesday, posting 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting with five rebounds and no other stats in 27 minutes.

Advice: The veteran came in shooting 38.9 percent this season, and he's typically a vacant fantasy option no matter how many minutes he gets. He belongs on the wire. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:01 pm
  • Courtney Lee gets 9/8/7 in win vs. Celtics
Courtney Lee handed out a season-high seven assists in 38 bench minutes vs. the Celtics on Wednesday, adding nine points and eight rebounds in a convincing road win.

Advice: C-Lee added one 3-pointer and one block to round out his line. He will have the ball in his hands more often with the second unit, but it's hard to see him approaching this many minutes routinely - Ron Baker was in foul trouble all game long. Leave C-Lee on the wire unless he can duplicate this performance a few times. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:27 pm
  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist anchors strong defense
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist finished Wednesday's game with nine points (3-of-7 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal in 31 minutes.

Advice: "We have to get ourselves right. We have to get back to what we've been for four years," coach Steve Clifford said recently. "Defense first, compete on every play, play smart." The defensive end is MKG's wheelhouse, and he helped Charlotte hold the Blazers to just 85 points on 35.1 percent shooting tonight. He may never be a great asset offensively, but he's worth a look if you need boards and some defensive stats. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:57 pm
  • Jon Leuer will not play on Wednesday night
Jon Leuer (knee) will not play against the Hawks on Wednesday night.

Advice: The Pistons will hold him out for his fifth game. With Leuer and Kentavious-Caldwell Pope (shoulder) out, the Pistons will have to play Reggie Bullock, Stanley Johnson and Aron Baynes more than usual. Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris also slightly benefit. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:25 pm
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) will not play at PHI
Patrick Patterson (knee) will not play against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Advice: His knee injury has kept him to just two games in 2017. Luckily for the Raptors, they have Jared Sullinger (foot) back for limited minutes -- he's likely only going to play 10-15 minutes tonight. The Raptors will also likely go smaller tonight while Pascal Siakam could play 20 minutes. None of these guys mentioned are worth using in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:17 pm
  • Darrell Arthur is doubtful to play
Darrell Arthur (knee) is doubtful to play against the Spurs on Thursday.

Advice: He did not play on Tuesday due to his oft-injured knee. With Wilson Chandler (personal) listed as out, there could be plenty of minutes going to Kenneth Faried and even Juan Hernangomez. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:03 pm
  • Jon Leuer (knee) a game-time decision vs. ATL
Jon Leuer (knee) will be a game-time call for Wednesday's matchup with the Hawks.

Advice: Leuer did get in a full practice on Tuesday and participated during shootaround, and head coach Stan Van Gundy acknowledged that he could return to action tonight, so things are trending in a positive direction here. If Leuer does get back to the court, Tobias Harris will return to the bench and Stanley Johnson could lose some minutes. Check back closer to tip-off for an official update. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:32 am
  • Jon Leuer, KCP questionable for Wednesday
Jon Leuer (knee) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) are being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.

Advice: Leuer was able to practice on Tuesday, while KCP was not, so Leuer likely has a much better chance of returning to the court on Wednesday. If he is able to get back out there it'll be interesting to see if he's immediately re-inserted back into the starting five, or if Stan Van Gundy eases him back into things after spending four games on the sidelines. Either way, Stanley Johnson's minutes will likely take a slight hit with Leuer back in the fold. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:16 am
  • Dion Waiters hits 7-of15 shots for 17 points
Dion Waiters made another start on Tuesday and hit 7-of-15 shots and a 3-pointer for 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal in a win over the Heat.

Advice: Waiters has been in an ugly shooting slump and missed some layups tonight, but looked much better than he has over his previous four games, when he hit just 15-of-53 shots. He's locked and loaded at shooting guard with Josh Richardson out for the next couple weeks, making him a hot pickup in fantasyland. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:19 pm
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) out Tuesday vs. BKN
Patrick Patterson (sore left knee) will not play Tuesday vs. the Nets.

Advice: This will be his third straight game on the sidelines, and his absence essentially ensures that Lucas Nogueira will get another start at the four-spot. Nogueira is worth owning as a shot blocking specialist in most leagues, while Patterson isn't worth a roster spot almost anywhere. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 3:50 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb (foot) ruled out for Wednesday
Jeremy Lamb (foot) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Portland.

Advice: Wednesday will mark Lamb's third straight game on the sidelines, and it's currently unclear exactly when he'll be able to get back to the court. Lamb typically isn't a major part of the rotation while the team is at full strength, so there aren't any major fantasy implications here. Marco Belinelli will have the opportunity for some extended minutes, but that's about it. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:20 pm
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play Tuesday
Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play Tuesday vs. the Lakers.

Advice: This will be the third consecutive game Arthur has missed due to his latest knee pain. Kenneth Faried started and played a season-high 33 minutes on Monday. The Manimal will likely see extra minutes on Tuesday as well due to Arthur's absence. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:54 am
  • Jon Leuer (knee) practices on Tuesday
Jon Leuer (bruised knee) practiced with the team on Tuesday.

Advice: Leuer has missed each of the Pistons last four games, but is obviously close to a return. He is expected to be listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Atlanta. With Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) sidelined, Leuer may be in line to see additional minutes if he plays and is healthy enough to handle them when he returns. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:06 am
  • Darrell Arthur (knee): Tuesday status unknown
The availability of Darrell Arthur (knee) for Tuesday’s game at the L.A. Lakers is unknown.

Advice: Arthur missed his second consecutive game due to left knee soreness on Monday. He has missed a total of 10 games this season as a result of knee issues. "He only knows one speed," coach Mike Malone said. "When we (practice) hard he goes hardest. And his knee has a hard time withstanding that pounding. So I almost have to try to protect him from himself at times." Kenneth Faried played a season-high 33 minutes on Monday and would get a boost on Tuesday if Arthur is out. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:09 am
  • Courtney Lee unsure if he will come off bench
Courtney Lee is unsure if he will continue to come off the bench or return to the Knicks starting lineup.

Advice: "[Coach Jeff Hornacek] said it might just be for this game [Monday], it might be for a couple games. He was just saying we need to change something around," Lee said after the Knicks lost to the Hawks on Monday afternoon. Lee played just 21 minutes and was benched the entire fourth quarter. He is averaging only 6.5 points and shooting just 19 percent from 3-point territory over his last six games. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:03 am
  • Marreese Speights scores 23 w/ 10 boards
Marreese Speights scored a season-high 23 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 27 minutes in Monday's 120-98 win over the Thunder.

Advice: He scored 10 of his points in garbage time during the fourth quarter, but Speights was on fire all night, hitting 8-of-15 shots from the field and 4-of-4 from the line. Speights is a per-minute monster, but the problem is that he's only eclipsed the 20-minute mark one time in January (tonight). With Blake Griffin (knee) nearing a return, it's tough to get excited about this. We'll let you know if his role grows. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:24 pm
  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist hits 3-of-11 in loss
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist hit just 3-of-11 shots for six points and nine rebounds in Monday's 108-98 loss to the Celtics.

Advice: He was coming off a big 12 & 12 double-double with four assists, a steal and a block on Friday, but hit just 2-of-6 shots in that one, saving his scoring line by hitting eight free throws. MKG is still a borderline player to own in standard leagues, because he's just as likely to let you down as he is to surprise you. He's averaging 7.6 points and 9.8 rebounds on 35 percent shooting over his last five games, meaning that Friday's game was pretty much a fluke. Rotoworld.com Monday, 7:03 pm
  • Dante Cunningham scores three points in start
Dante Cunningham moved into the starting lineup on Monday vs. the Pacers, but scored just three points on 1-of-7 shooting in 31 minutes.

Advice: We have no idea why coach Alvin Gentry insists on giving Cunningham this type of workload, but it could be his downfall. The forward added just two rebounds, one steal and a triple, while Terrence Jones had 15 points with eight rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a triple in 26 minutes off the bench. Even with Anthony Davis (back) going down, Cunnigham isn't worth adding in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:36 pm
  • Cunningham starting, Jones to the bench
Dante Cunningham will return to the starting lineup for Monday's matchup with the Pacers, sending Terrence Jones back to the bench.

Advice: Alvin Gentry just loves Cunningham, but there's nothing to like about his production in fantasy hoops. Jrue Holiday, Buddy Hield, Solomon Hill and Anthony Davis will join Cunningham in the starting five for today's matinee, and Jones' value will take a hit with the demotion to the second unit. Rotoworld.com Monday, 12:37 pm
  • Courtney Lee scores seven off bench
Courtney Lee scored seven points off the bench with two rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer against the Hawks on Monday.

Advice: After the game, Lee said he found out he was benched just before the game. In a halftime interview, Carmelo Anthony said Lee handled the benching like a pro and also made it seem like it was more of an experiment. Lee has also really fallen off as a shooter lately, making just 2-of-15 from deep in his last four -- he was leading the NBA in 3-point percentage last month. Lee is only a 16-team guy for now. Rotoworld.com Monday, 12:33 pm
  • Courtney Lee will come off the bench
Courtney Lee will come off the bench on Monday vs. Atlanta.

Advice: The Knicks have been shredded on defense all season, so they're going to take their best wing defender out of the lineup. Sounds about right. Lee was a low-end asset to own before this news, so feel free to drop him for a hot free agent. With that said, he should still see a healthy dose of minutes Monday. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:27 am
  • Jon Leuer will not play Sunday vs. Lakers
Jon Leuer (knee) won't play vs. the Lakers on Sunday.

Advice: Leuer was listed as doubtful and this shouldn't come as a surprise to any owners. Aron Baynes, Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris will continue to pick up the slack until Leuer gets back on the court. Consider him questionable to return vs. the Hawks on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 5:21 pm
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) out Monday vs. Magic
Darrell Arthur (knee) will not suit up for Monday's game against the Magic.

Advice: It's always something with this guy, and Monday will mark his second straight game on the sidelines. Kenneth Faried and Jusuf Nurkic will likely split his limited minutes, which doesn't mean all that much. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 11:48 am
  • Jon Leuer (knee) doubtful Sunday vs. Lakers
Jon Leuer (knee) is being listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Lakers.

Advice: Leuer was able a limited participant during shootaround, and while he's hopeful that he'll be able to give it a go, we're not all that optimistic. Stan Van Gundy said that Reggie Bullock will draw the start if Leuer can't give it a go, so it'll be interesting to see if Tobias Harris sticks in the starting five. For now, we're going to consider Leuer questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hawks. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 11:23 am
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) won't play Sunday
Patrick Patterson (sore left knee) will not play Sunday vs. the Knicks.

Advice: He will miss his second game in a row, but the Raptors are likely being cautious based on coach Dwane Casey's comments earlier in the week. With Patterson out, the Raptors are going to roll with Lucas Nogueira at the four, but that might not be ideal if the Knicks start Lance Thomas in place of Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles). Nogueira had 10 points, nine rebounds, four blocks and two assists in his last start. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 10:57 am
  • Jeremy Lamb (foot) ruled out for Monday
Jeremy Lamb (foot) will not play on Monday vs. Boston.

Advice: This will be his second game in a row on the shelf. The Hornets are ruling him out a full 24 hours before tip-off, an indication that he could miss additional time. Luckily for the Hornets, Nicolas Batum looked healthy in 32 minutes of action on Friday. Marco Belinelli could pick up a few extra minutes with Lamb out. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:36 am
  • Dante Cunningham scores seven points
Dante Cunningham scored seven points with five rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes off the bench against the Bulls on Saturday.

Advice: He was the first forward sub of the game and checked in for Terrence Jones, so coach Alvin Gentry may see him in that role going forward. Cunningham needs a ridiculous amount of minutes to have value in even deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:00 pm
  • Nick Young scores 11 points
Nick Young scored 11 points with one steal and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: His minutes have taken a hit this month, but some of that is due to the Lakers being blown out for three games in a row. Coach Luke Walton still is trusting Young's defense and he asked him to chase around J.J. Redick in this game. He's almost certainly past his peak on the season and has slowed down in his last five, averaging 6.8 points, 1.2 boards, 0.6 assists and 1.4 treys on just 27.5 percent from the field. If you want to cut him for an upward-trending free agent, go for it. We would cut him for someone like Terrence Jones in a second. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:09 pm
  • Waiters confident he will snap out of slump
Dion Waiters feels healthy and is confident he will snap out of his recent slump.

Advice: Since returning from a groin tear back on January 4th, Waiters is averaging 8.4 points, while shooting just 29.8 percent from the floor and 17.6 percent from downtown. Waiters believes he is close to regaining the form he had prior to the injury, when he was playing arguably the best basketball of his career. "No question, it's coming," Waiters said confidently. "Sooner than later, there's no doubt about that. The wait is over." Rotoworld.com Saturday, 11:04 am
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) questionable for Sun
Patrick Patterson (sore left knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Patterson returned to play two games earlier this week but was then forced to sit out Friday night, although coach Dwane Casey said that it is more of a precaution. Lucas Nogueira started in place of Patterson on Friday, finishing with 10 points and nine rebounds in 30 minutes. Pascal Siakam or Norman Powell could also see increased minutes, based on matchups, if Patterson misses more time. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:16 am
  • Evan Turner scores 15 in 24 minutes
Evan Turner scored 15 points with four rebounds, two assists and one triple vs. the Magic on Friday.

Advice: Surprisingly, his playing time went down with just 24 minutes on the night with Moe Harkless (calf) on the shelf. Turner was only averaging 9.0 points, 4.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 0.5 triples in his previous six games in January, so he doesn't have much fantasy value right now. • MKG puts up a double-double
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist scored 12 points during a 102-93 loss to the 76ers on Saturday, adding 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 35 minutes.

Advice: Marco Bellineli may have turned in his worst game of the season with five turnovers and Jeremy Lamb (foot) didn't play, so Kidd-Gilchrist had a clear path for minutes. Even with some injuries to put MKG in a terrific position over his previous five, he only averaged 8.0 points, 8.4 boards, 1.8 assists and 0.8 steals. He's more of a borderline player to own in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:48 pm
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) will not play Friday
Patrick Patterson (knee) will not play Friday against the Nets.

Advice: Coach Dwane Casey said that it is more of a precaution. He didn't exactly look right with 21 minutes and going scoreless on Tuesday. Against Trevor Booker at the four, the Raptors could be looking at Lucas Nogueira as the starter. They could also go with more small-ball lineups against the fastest team in the NBA. • Dante Cunningham comes off the bench
Dante Cunningham moved to the bench on Thursday against the Nets, finishing with four points, five boards and one steal.

Advice: Maybe, just maybe coach Alvin Gentry will start playing Terrence Jones over Cunningham more now. Cunningham isn't worth owning in almost any league regardless. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:49 pm
  • Dante Cunningham moves to the bench
Dante Cunningham will move to the bench against the Nets on Thursday.

Advice: He should still be in the rotation tonight, but obviously fantasy owners shouldn't be looking his way. Cunningham will need a lot to happen to have consistent fantasy value. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 4:10 pm
  • Jeremy Lamb (foot) will not play on Friday
Jeremy Lamb (foot) will not play on Friday against the 76ers

Advice: The team is calling it metatarsal inflammation. Lamb hasn't had any noteworthy foot issues since 2014, so this is likely a new issue for him. With him out, Marco Belinelli will be the primary wing backup and should get minutes in the mid 20s. He's worth a look if you need a short-term scoring boost. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 1:50 pm
  • Darrell Arthur will not play on Thursday
Darrell Arthur (leg) will not play against the Pacers on Thursday.

Advice: The Nuggets are somewhat healthy besides Arthur, so he wasn't a lock to be in the rotation anyway. Kenneth Faried could see some minutes at power forward tonight. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:30 am
  • Patrick Patterson (knee) misses practice
Patrick Patterson (knee) did not practice on Thursday.

Advice: He still has minute restrictions, so this was likely a rest day. Patterson moved into the starting lineup on Tuesday vs. Boston, but failed to score in 21 minutes. Standard-league owners can do better and Patterson's outlook isn't great due to the eventual return of Jared Sullinger (foot). Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:28 am
  • Darrell Arthur (leg) questionable Thursday
Darrell Arthur (leg) is questionable for Thursday's game for the Pacers.

Advice: Of course he is. Nikola Jokic is returning from an illness anyways, so Arthur will be irrelevant in most fantasy leagues with his move back to the bench. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:42 am
  • Marreese Speights scores 13 efficient points
Marreese Speights scored 13 efficient points off the bench on Wednesday, hitting 5-of-6 shots with three 3-pointers, three rebounds and one assist in a home win vs. the Magic.

Advice: Speights has made at least one three-pointer in 14 straight games, the longest streak of his career. He's managed to carve out late-round value in Blake Griffin's absence despite playing just 16.9 minutes over the past month. During that time he's established a nice rapport with Chris Paul -- coming into this game, Speights had a 72.7 effective FG percentage off passes from CP3. That said, he's an atypical fantasy big man whose primary virtues have been 3-pointers and FT%. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:25 pm
  • Evan Turner hands out 11 assists
Evan Turner handed out a season-high 11 assists against the Cavs on Wednesday with two points, eight rebounds and one block in 28 minutes.

Advice: He also had one of the best bounce passes of the season in transition and against LeBron James (video in link below). His 11 dimes are the most by a Blazer reserve since Mo Williams in 2014. Turner has not provided much offense lately with only 4.0 points per game in his last four. He doesn't have much fantasy value. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:26 pm
  • Dion Waiters scores eight in start for Heat
Dion Waiters started for the Heat on Tuesday, sending Wayne Ellington to the bench, but hit just 4-of-17 shots for eight points, three rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 38 minutes.

Advice: He was tied for the team lead in minutes and shots tonight and his line would have been a lot more fun had more of them actually gone in. The Heat were without Josh Richardson tonight, so Waiters had a big opportunity, but couldn't take advantage of it. Richardson's in a walking boot for his sprained left foot and if he's going to miss time, Waiters could be worth grabbing for a spot start or two, especially if he's going to continue to fire at will.
