  • Jamal Murray set for more minutes
Jamal Murray scored five points with one rebound, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: He has said he wants to play point guard and he'll get his wish now to back up Jameer Nelson with Emmanuel Mudiay (back) out for Sunday. Gary Harris (ankle) is also out, so Murray should be looking at close to 27 minutes as the combo guard against the Wolves. He's not playing well enough to add in most leagues, though. Rotoworld.com 36 minutes ago
  • Raymond Felton scores 14 off the bench
Raymond Felton made 6-of-17 from the field for 14 points off the bench against the Nuggets during a 123-98 loss on Saturday, adding three rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Advice: He did start the second half because the Nuggets ran all over them with their bigger lineup including Mo Speights. Felton should be moving back into the starting lineup against the Hawks on Monday and should be able to flirt with top-100 value while Chris Paul (thumb) is out. Rotoworld.com 47 minutes ago
  • Austin Rivers scores 16 points in start
Austin Rivers scored 16 points with two rebounds, five assists and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes as the starting point guard against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Advice: The fact that he started over Raymond Felton was a good sign, but getting smoked in the first half negates that. With Blake Griffin (knee) getting really close, it should affect Rivers the most because he's more of a score-first guard and that's not needed as much next to BG. Plus, he has been a nightmare on defense. He's a hold for the rest of the month, but may fall off in February. Rotoworld.com 51 minutes ago
  • Dwyane Wade scores team-high 30 points
Dwyane Wade hit 9-20 shots and 12-of-15 free throws for 30 points with six rebounds, four assists, three steals and four blocks on Saturday against the Kings.

Advice: Wade stuffed the stat sheet and helped the Bulls snap a two-game losing streak. Chicago will get two days of rest before heading to Orlando to take on the Magic, a team that Wade played 25 minutes against and scored 16 points with three rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks in their last meeting. He should be well rested and ready to roll in that matchup. Rotoworld.com 57 minutes ago
  • Kawhi Leonard scores career-high 41 points
Kawhi Leonard won the battle against LeBron James during a thrilling 118-115 overtime victory in Cleveland on Saturday, scoring a career-high 41 points with six rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 46 minutes.

Advice: He's not a system player. He's a system, player. Leonard's offense has been better than his defense these days with six consecutive games of at least 30 points. He joins only George "The Iceman" Gervin as the only two in Spurs history to do that. Leonard wasn't expected to have a J coming out of college, but he posted a 58.7 effective field goal percentage on just his 92 jumpers alone in his last six. The Spurs are first in the NBA in offensive rating in that span and it's all about Kawhi. The Spurs are a Kawhi system these days. Rotoworld.com 59 minutes ago
  • Manu Ginobili hurts his back
Manu Ginobili hurt his back at the end of Saturday's game in Cleveland.

Advice: He grabbed his lower back and was in a lot of pain. Ginobili has a slew of back problems in the past, so you can pencil him as a DNP on Monday and possibly beyond. Jonathon Simmons would be worth a look in deep leagues while Bryn Forbes could be in the rotation. This helps Danny Green too. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:06 pm
  • Garrett Temple plays 30 minutes in loss
Garrett Temple scored eight points with three rebounds, three assists, one block, two steals and one 3-pointer on Saturday against the Bulls.

Advice: He is averaging 30.2 minutes, 8.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in his last five. With Rudy Gay (Achilles) out for the season, Temple should continue to see consistent minutes and is worth adding off of waivers. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:03 pm
  • Kyle Anderson gets 18 minutes
Kyle Anderson played 18 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday with two points, four rebounds, one assist, four steals and two blocks.

Advice: The Spurs when with a small-ball four and it really worked out. Anderson was a +19 in the plus-minus stat and he was out there on the last play, as well. Anderson could get decent run on Monday against the Nets, but obviously we're not adding him. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:00 pm
  • Iman Shumpert turns in another good one
Iman Shumpert scored 11 points with three rebounds, two assists, two steals, one turnover and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes against the Spurs on Saturday.

Advice: That will definitely work. He's battling 1.000 with standard league value in his four starts, so that counts for something -- you might have heard playing next to LeBron James helps. He's not going to save your season, but Shumpert's recent consistency in a new role makes him worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:34 pm
  • Brandon Knight scores 11 points in 20 minutes
Brandon Knight played 20 minutes and had 11 points, five rebounds, two assists and a 3-pointer on 5-of-12 shooting on Saturday.

Advice: Eric Bledsoe and Devin Booker are both on fire and went off again tonight, so Knight's only hope looks to be an injury to a teammate or a trade. And even if he's traded, there's no guarantee he ends up in a better situation. He's the ultimate "watch list" guy right now. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:40 pm
  • Eric Bledsoe scores 23 with 7 assists
Eric Bledsoe had 23 points, five rebounds, seven assists, a block, a 3-pointer and zero turnovers on 6-of-14 shooting in 39 minutes of Saturday's win over the Knicks.

Advice: Nice. Bledsoe's fantastic season keeps rolling on and the zero turnovers made tonight's line extra special. He's averaging 20.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 3-pointers over his last five games, and the only negative is that he's shooting just 41 percent over that stretch. He has a history of injuries, so his run could come to an end at any time, but for now, he's one of the most reliable guards in all of fantasy. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:29 pm
  • Caris LeVert scores nine in 18 minutes
Caris LeVert played 18 minutes against the Hornets on Saturday, scoring nine points with one rebound, four assists and two steals.

Advice: Obviously the playing time is down, but he likely would've been in the low 20s if the Nets were not trailing late and coach Kenny Atkinson didn't have to sub in Bojan Bogdanovic. As has been for a while, there were tons of positives. He ran the offense a ton once again and Atkinson trusted him enough to keep him on Nicolas Batum. Plus, the Nets rarely unleash players on both ends of a back-to-back. His owners should still hold him. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:06 pm
  • Reggie Jackson scores 19 points in win
Reggie Jackson scored 19 points with three rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: In case you missed it earlier today, coach Stan Van Gundy denied the Jackson trade rumors. "I texted Reggie and just said, 'This is crazy season, and we're not trading you for Ricky Rubio,'" Van Gundy said. In other words, it feels like the recent trade rumor is more about the Ricky Rubio side of this. Jackson hasn't really been very good for his fantasy owners, posting just ninth-round value in standard leagues in 2017. He'll be better than that, but he likely will only be in the middle rounds. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:24 pm
  • Raymond Felton moving to the bench
Raymond Felton will come off the bench against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Advice: He won't be getting a revenge game as a starter. It makes some sense because the Clippers have to figure out what to do with their bench and they need another big out there against Kenneth Faried -- Luc Mbah a Moute should guard Danilo Gallinari. Felton's owners shouldn't panic here. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:31 pm
  • Dwyane Wade is starting again
Dwyane Wade will start again against the Kings on Saturday.

Advice: This isn't a surprise after a really bad loss. The Bulls will still stick with Michael Carter-Williams, Wade, Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson and Robin Lopez. Rotoworld.com Today, 4:18 pm
  • Stan Van Gundy denies Jackson-Rubio rumors
Coach Stan Van Gundy has denied an ESPN report that there are currently ongoing trade discussions with the Timberwolves involving Reggie Jackson.

Advice: Van Gundy said the organization doesn't "have a single thing under consideration." However, that's what he would be expected to say if he was trying to hammer out a deal, so conflicting reports don't tell us much. We will keep an eye on the situation. Assuming that Jackson and Ricky Rubio are the primary pieces in the deal, such a trade would not have a major impact on either player's fantasy value. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:15 am
  • Alec Burks gets just 12 minutes
Alec Burks played 12 minutes against the Mavs on Friday with seven points, two rebounds and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He actually got some run at point guard tonight, but clearly the Jazz aren't ready up Burks' minutes so soon with the team playing well. If you haven't dropped him yet, we'll let you know if he pops back up. It does help that the Jazz seem pretty clueless on their backup point guard right now. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:18 am
  • Gordon Hayward hurts hand, scores 26
Gordon Hayward scored 26 points with seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes against the Mavs on Friday.

Advice: He did hurt his hand and the team had to call timeout to stop the game because he was in so much pain. Hayward looked fine after that, but he sure does have a lot of hand injuries this year. Hayward has been wonderful since returning from a hand injury to start the year, posting third-round value per game on the season. He also ran the offense tonight in a no-PG lineup for eight minutes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:50 pm
  • Dwyane Wade has terrible game in ATL
Dwyane Wade made 2-of-10 from the field to match his season-low four points in 20 minutes against the Hawks on Friday, adding three rebounds, three assists and one steal.

Advice: This was a brutal loss for the Bulls and Wade took to Twitter after the game. "That performance was AWFUL!!! I apologize to all the Chicago fans and Wade fans," Wade tweeted. The Bulls are back home on Saturday to face the Kings, so Wade will likely be out there based on these comments. He really only has mid-round upside going forward. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:38 pm
  • Garrett Temple scores 14 points in start
Garrett Temple started on Friday vs. the Grizzlies and scored 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting in 33 minutes.

Advice: He was the only starter to eclipse 30 minutes in the blowout, so it's safe to say that the workload will be there with Rudy Gay (Achilles) out for the season. Temple added three rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and two triples and was averaging 11.4 points, 3.1 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.1 treys in seven previous starts this season, so pick him up if those stats fit your team well. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:51 pm
  • LeVert Alert: Caris explodes in New Orleans
Caris LeVert made all six shots from the field and both free throws for 17 points against the Pelicans on Friday, adding five rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

Advice: Kaboom. There has been buzz about LeVert for over a month and coach Kenny Atkinson has said that the rookie is forcing his hand to play him more despite how he planned to bring him along slowly. Since 1983-84, LeVert is the only Net to post at least 15 points, five boards and five assists while not missing any shots. He ran the offense a ton in the second half and his efficiency has been fantastic lately as a scorer with some of the flashiest moves in the NBA. With how well he's been playing, how he plays three positions, has his coach talking him up, and with the Nets playing at the fastest pace in the NBA, he has to be added right now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:35 pm
  • Reggie Jackson linked to Minnesota
The Wolves and Pistons have discussed a potential PG swap between Reggie Jackson and Ricky Rubio.

Advice: Both teams have really struggled this season so it's not a surprise that they are looking to shake things up. Both Jackson and Rubio are signed to long-term deals, so it would be a shock if they did not start on their new teams if a deal can be worked out. The two teams are in the "talking" stage for now, but we'll let you know when we learn more. Jackson's value would be safe in Minnesota and he would be a decent fit under coach Tom Thibodeau for his defensive prowess. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:45 pm
  • Garrett Temple starting vs. the Grizzlies
Garrett Temple is starting vs. the Grizzlies on Friday.

Advice: Rudy Gay (Achilles) is out for the season and Temple and Matt Barnes will likely see the biggest bump in minutes. Temple doesn't have great upside, but he did put up averages of 11.4 points, 3.1 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.1 treys in seven previous starts this season. Give him a look if has a strong game tonight. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:58 pm
  • ESPN: Brandon Knight is 'gettable'
Brandon Knight is being regarded as "gettable" in the trade market, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Advice: This is pretty obvious. The Suns haven't really been updating Knight's status with his lingering wrist injury and perhaps there is even more than meets the eye. The Suns are likely looking to transform him into a first-round pick with general manager Ryan McDonough saying the team doesn't really want to stockpile second-round picks. He's basically behind Tyler Ulis on the depth chart and Knight needs a trade big time to save his value, so he's not the best stash. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:10 pm
  • Austin Rivers scores 20 points vs. T-Wolves
Austin Rivers scored 20 points with two assists, one rebound, one block and two 3-pointers in Thursday's 101-104 loss to the Timberwolves.

Advice: Rivers fouled out with five seconds left in the game, but was feeling it tonight as he scored 20 points for just the sixth time this season. He continues to play big minutes, averaging over 35 minutes per game in January and playing at least 31 minutes in eight consecutive games. With Chris Paul (hand) out for 6-8 weeks, Rivers will remain a big part of the Clippers offense until Blake Griffin (knee) comes back. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:11 pm
  • Raymond Felton scores 10 points in loss
Raymond Felton scored 10 points with eight assists, four rebounds and two steals on Thursday night against the Timberwolves.

Advice: Felton got the start for the injured Chris Paul (hand) tonight and played 34 minutes. Although he scored just 10 points, he did contribute in dimes and steals. He should be owned in all formats during Paul’s absence, but will hurt you in field goal percentage some nights. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:09 pm
  • Kawhi Leonard scores 34 points in win vs. DEN
Kawhi Leonard was on fire yet again during a 118-104 win over the Nuggets on Thursday, scoring 34 points with five rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He earned an All-Star starting spot today, which was fairly obvious. Leonard has scored at least 30 points for five consecutive games, which has only been done by two other Spurs ever (George Gervin and Mike Mitchell). Coach Gregg Popovich had a very typical answer about Kawhi's play after the game. "Kawhi Leonard was super, but he's getting paid to be super," Pop said. Leonard is going to be super for a long time. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:24 pm
  • Jamal Murray scores 13 points vs. Spurs
Jamal Murray scored 13 points in 26 minutes against the Spurs on Thursday, adding six rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He picked up some extra run because the Nuggets had to play Will Barton at the three more because both Danilo Gallinari (ankle) and Wilson Chandler (personal) were out. Chances are both of those guys won't miss much time, so we're not suggesting Murray as a pickup in most cases. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:23 pm
  • Felton, JJ, Rivers, Luc & Jordan starting
Raymond Felton, J.J. Redick, Austin Rivers, Luc Mbah a Moute and DeAndre Jordan will start against the Wolves on Thursday.

Advice: This was expected all along and the Clippers will have to manage without the NBA's top player in real plus minus. Felton is worth a look if you need a point guard for the next 6-8 weeks. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:21 pm
  • Iman Shumpert scores season-high 17 points
Iman Shumpert scored a season-high 17 points against the Suns on Thursday, adding two rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and five 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Advice: He had a really strong game, which has been a habit for him since he moved into the starting lineup. In those three, Shumpert averaged 16.0 points, 3.7 boards, 2.0 steals and 3.7 treys. We've seen Shump go on hot streaks before and he almost always fizzles out, but being this hot in a new role for him makes him an interesting pickup. If you're not dropping something with much demand, it's not a bad idea to give Shump a look to see if he can stay anywhere close to this hot. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:10 pm
  • Brandon Knight plays four minutes
Brandon Knight played four minutes on Thursday with three points, one 3-pointer, one turnover and four fouls.

Advice: Yikes. Those minutes were not in garbage time and Knight checked in during the first quarter. He also didn't play at all in the second half because of the terrible play. He's clearly on thin ice and needs a trade. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 6:25 pm
  • Brandon Knight playing on Thursday
Brandon Knight (wrist) is playing on Thursday night.

Advice: The Suns haven't exactly been forthcoming on Knight's status, but he's out there playing in the first quarter. Knight is not worth owning in shallower leagues right now. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 4:37 pm
  • Plan changing on Caris Levert
Coach Kenny Atkinson said he would "love" Caris LeVert's growth to be gradual, but conceded he's making a case for more minutes.

Advice: "Some guys break through barriers; it'd be one wonderful if he could be one of those guys," Atkinson said. The hype train is picking up some steam with Atkinson saying the rookie is making a case for more minutes. "That's what we're all saying when we're watching these games," the coach added. Among all rookies to play in each of their team's last 10 games, LeVert is first in true shooting percentage. He's also first in net rating among the Nets to play in five of the last 10. LeVert hasn't translated to value in standard leagues yet, but he's trending up and is worth a stash. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:43 am
  • Wade expected to play Friday and Saturday
Dwyane Wade is expected to play on Friday vs. the Hawks and on Saturday vs. the Kings.

Advice: It's great that he's planning on playing in both games of the back-to-back set, but don't be surprised if his minutes are held in check in both of them. The Bulls will likely make a final decision after Friday's game vs. the Hawks. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:32 am
  • Garrett Temple drops nine points in 29 mins
Garrett Temple played 29 minutes off the bench against the Pacers on Wednesday with nine points, four rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He should be getting a big bump in usage and playing time with Rudy Gay (Achilles). In the previous stretch Gay missed 10 of 11 games, Temple averaged 10.2 points, 3.4 boards, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 treys on 42.4 percent from the field and 89.5 percent from the line. That was good for eighth-round value, so he is worth a look in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:15 pm
  • Reggie Jackson's 26 points lead DET past ATL
Reggie Jackson drained 10-of-20 shots en route to 26 points on Wednesday, adding five boards, four assists and two 3-pointers in an easy 118-95 win vs. Atlanta.

Advice: Detroit scored 42 points in the first quarter tonight, their highest-scoring quarter of the entire season, and Jackson was the early engine of the offense. He's really found a groove in January, averaging 19.5 points, 1.8 triples, 5.4 assists and 0.9 steals, which is more in line with his numbers from last season. His owners' patience is finally paying off. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:09 pm
  • Brandon Knight (wrist) questionable Thursday
Brandon Knight (wrist) is questionable to play against the Cavs on Thursday.

Advice: He has missed the last two games with his wrist sprain. Knight is barely in the rotation right now. If he's out, Tyler Ulis would likely see more minutes and it's worth a mention Devin Booker played 46 minutes in regulation on Monday. Knight needs a trade to save his value, so he may not be worth owning in shallower leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:31 am
  • Atkinson says LeVert is pushing for more mins
Kenny Atkinson acknowledged that Caris LeVert has been "pushing for more minutes" with his solid play as of late and that extending his playing time is something they will look into.

Advice: The Nets 2016 first-round pick has seen his playing time rise to the lower-20s through the month of January, and he's responded with averages of 8.6 points, 1.9 dimes and 1.2 triples per game on 48.3 percent shooting. Atkinson wants LeVert to earn his minutes, and he's been doing just that with a +/- rating of +1.1 over the past nine games. He's a reasonable guy to stash, as he should be able to eventually usurp Joe Harris for the starting two-spot in Brooklyn. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 6:59 am
  • Kawhi Leonard scores 34 w/ 7 boards, 5 dimes
Kawhi Leonard scored 34 points on 12-of-17 shooting in Tuesday's 122-114 win over the Wolves.

Advice: He's unfair. This was Leonard's 12th 30-point game of the season and his fourth in a row, becoming the first Spur to score 30+ points in four straight since Tim Duncan in Jan. 2004. The Claw added seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and two triples, and he also finished 8-of-9 from the free throw line. There's no reason why he shouldn't be a top-5 option in standard leagues the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:08 pm
  • Dwyane Wade scores 17, can't hit winner
Dwyane Wade returned from a rest and played 35 minutes on Tuesday, hitting 8-of-21 shots for 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and a block in a loss to the Mavericks.

Advice: Wade picked up a deflection after Wesley Matthews nearly stole the ball from Jimmy Butler and got a good look at the game-winning shot at the buzzer over Deron Williams, but it wasn't meant to be. Wade is a fine play on nights he's actually playing, But he had missed two of his previous four games coming into this one. The Bulls have another back-to-back this Friday and Saturday, and then again on Tuesday and Wednesday, so owners can only pray that he plays in more than two of those four games. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:04 pm
  • LeVert scores 14 w/ 4 assists and 2 steals
Caris LeVert scored 14 points with four assists, three rebounds, two steals and two 3-pointers in 23 minutes in Tuesdays 119-109 loss to the Raptors.

Advice: The rookie struggled with foul trouble in the first half, but came out firing in the third quarter with a couple treys. He finished 6-of-8 from the field with one turnover, and coach Kenny Atkinson wasn't hesitant to put him on DeMar DeRozan on the defensive end. He's been great in limited minutes, but it feels like it's just a matter of time before he takes Joe Harris' spot in the first unit. LeVert looks like a solid stash for the second half of the season on a Nets' team that should prioritize player development. For what it's worth, LeVert led the team with a +/- rating of +9 in the double-digit loss. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:53 pm
  • Austin Rivers looking at an increased role
Austin Rivers is looking at an increased role moving forward with Chris Paul (thumb) out 6-8 weeks.

Advice: Rivers was going to lose some value with Blake Griffin (knee) nearing a return, but not so fast. With Paul out, both Rivers and Felton could realistically play over 30 minutes a night even with a healthy Blake. Rivers is averaging 16.8 points, 4.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 triples in January, and his usage rate climbs from 14.9 to 21.8 when Paul is off the court. Go pick him up. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 4:34 pm
  • Raymond Felton looking at a bump in minutes
Raymond Felton is looking at a bump in minutes with Chris Paul (thumb surgery) out for the next 6-8 weeks.

Advice: Felton started the second half of Monday's game and looked great with 15 points on 7-of-7 shooting with six assists, three rebounds, one block, one steal and two turnovers in 27 minutes, and he averaged 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.7 triples in six previous starts this season. He's likely going to take over the starting role in Los Angeles and looks like a strong pickup in standard leagues. Austin Rivers also looks like a great pickup. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 4:30 pm
  • Austin Rivers scores 16 w/ six assists
Austin Rivers scored 16 points on 5-of-13 shooting in Monday's win over the Thunder.

Advice: He played impressive defense on Russell Westbrook and is thriving with the first unit. Rivers logged 35 minutes and added six assists, two rebounds, one steal and two triples, and he could have the ball in his hands a lot more if Chris Paul (sprained thumb) misses any time. Rivers' usage rate rises from 14.9 to 21.8 when Paul is off the court, so he looks like a solid pickup in addition to Raymond Felton. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:18 pm
  • Raymond Felton scores 15 on 7-of-7 shooting
Raymond Felton scored 15 points on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting in Monday's 120-98 win over the Thunder on Monday.

Advice: Chris Paul left the game with a sprained left thumb and did not return, so Felton started the second half and added six assists, three rebounds, one block, one steal and two turnovers in 27 minutes. X-rays were negative on Paul's thumb, but he is scheduled to have an MRI on Tuesday at which point we will know if he needs to miss additional time. Felton looks like a nice speculative pickup with averages of 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.7 triples in six previous starts this season. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:13 pm
  • Alec Burks fizzles in nine minutes
Alec Burks played just nine minutes and missed all four of his shots, failing to score a point in Monday's 106-101 win over the Suns.

Advice: Joe Ingles started for Rodney Hood (knee) and played well, and Joe Johnson was Joe Cool off the bench with 15 points and three 3-pointers, so Burks looks like the big loser in the Hood-injury sweepstakes. If you picked up Burks in hopes of a decent week, we'd recommend throwing him back and taking a flier on Ingles or Johnson, instead. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:16 pm
  • Eric Bledsoe just misses big triple-double
Eric Bledsoe hit 11-of-20 shots, 2-of-6 3-pointers and 7-of-7 free throws for 31 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and a steal in 37 minutes of Monday's 106-101 loss to the Jazz.

Advice: He just missed the third triple-double of his career, but is quietly rolling this season. He's averaging 23.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 7.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 3-pointers on 53 percent shooting over his last five games and hasn't missed a single game thus far. He has an ugly injury history and this season's minutes could catch up to him at some point, but for now, he looks like a must-own, must-start player until further notice. If you do trade him due to injury concerns, make sure you get plenty in return, as he appears to be on a mission to have a big season. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:46 pm
  • Iman Shumpert scores 15 in start
Iman Shumpert scored 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting in another start on Monday vs. the Warriors.

Advice: He pulled down nine rebounds and added three steals and two triples in 30 minutes. Shump scored 16 points with two steals and four 3-pointers in 26 minutes in his previous start, so he might be worth a flier in deeper leagues if he can keep this up. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:32 pm
  • Update: Brandon Knight (wrist) out Monday
Updating a previous report, Brandon Knight (sprained right wrist) will not play on Monday vs. the Jazz.

Advice: A previous report indicated that he will be "available," but the Suns will hold him out for the second straight game. Knight wasn't even updated on Saturday vs. the Spurs and showed up in the box score as a "DNP-sprained right wrist," so it's not clear when he will return to action. He's just a stash in the hope that he's traded before the deadline. Rotoworld.com Monday, 5:24 pm
  • Jamal Murray plays just 5 minutes on Monday
Jamal Murray played only five minutes in Denver's win over Orlando and failed to make any impact on the stat sheet.

Advice: It was an old-fashioned five trillion for Murray, as he didn't tally a single point, rebound, assist, steal or block. It is surprising that Murray only played five minutes (and zero in the second half) considering that Denver starting shooting guard Gary Harris sprained his ankle just three minutes into the game. Murray has played in all 39 games this season, but Monday was the first time he played fewer than 11 minutes. With Harris doubtful for Tuesday, it would seem Murray would be poised for an uptick in minutes, but after Monday's disappointment, he can't be trusted. Rotoworld.com Monday, 5:20 pm
  • Brandon Knight (wrist) available to play
Brandon Knight (sprained right wrist) will be available to play Monday vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Available to play doesn't always mean will play, so Knight is a dubious fantasy target in most settings tonight. Over the past month, Knight has only been averaging 18.1 minutes a game, ranking well outside the top-150, so he can only be viewed as a stash with hopes he'll get traded to a better situation. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:32 pm
  • Brandon Knight (wrist) didn't play
Brandon Knight showed up on the box score as a "DNP-sprained right wrist" on Saturday.

Advice: As far as we can tell, there was nothing on Knight before or after the game on Knight's status from the team or the people covering the team right now. Knight was out for the same ailment back on Jan. 3, so take that for what it's worth. Obviously Knight won't be playing much with the Suns wanting to get a look at Tyler Ulis, so he will need a trade or an injury to the starters to have value. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 10:42 am
  • Alec Burks will be in the rotation
Alec Burks said he's close to 100 percent after his eight-point game in 15 minutes on Saturday.

Advice: He said he's been waiting for this for "like a year" and he said he knew he was ready to play. Burks acknowledged he had a serious injury and he's still improving. He said he wanted to get to the rim more and he plans on doing that more as he gets more comfortable. With Rodney Hood (knee) possibly missing time, Burks is a speculative add in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 2:17 am
  • Dante Exum a non-factor vs. Orlando
Dante Exum scored two points in seven minutes with one assist in Saturday’s win against the Magic.

Advice: Exum appears to have fallen behind in Utah’s backcourt rotation. Alec Burks is back in the picture and played well tonight, so Exum could continue to struggle for playing time in the foreseeable future. He should not be owned in any format. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:18 pm
  • Alec Burks scores eight points in 14 mins
Alec Burks played 14 minutes and scored eight points with six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in Saturday’s 114-107 victory of the Magic.

Advice: Burks was recalled from the D-League on Jan. 12 and could hang around for a while, as Rodney Hood (knee) suffered a hyperextended knee in tonight’s game. He has only appeared in six games for the Jazz this season, but could see a larger role if Hood misses any time. He looked good tonight and can play multiple positions for Utah. That being said, for now, Burks can be left on waivers, but he is someone worth keeping an eye on. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:12 pm
  • Ka-Wow: Kawhi Leonard scores career-high 38
Kawhi Leonard exploded for a career-high 38 points during a 108-105 loss to the Suns in Mexico on Saturday, adding four rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: It's almost shocking to see the Spurs lose a game when Kawhi turns in his best offensive game, but he got very little help. Leonard has now scored 30-plus points for three straight games for the first time in his career. Leonard is also three games shy of tying Tim Duncan's franchise record for consecutive games with double-digit scoring. Leonard has an absolutely absurd 77.9 true shooting percentage in his last three as the hottest scorer in the NBA. Oh and he's a good defender. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:42 pm
  • Manu Ginobili gets added run
Manu Ginobili scored 16 points with two rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes against the Suns on Saturday.

Advice: With Tony Parker as the only active point guard, Manu picked up some added playing time as the second unit ball handler. If Patty Mills (calf) needs to miss more time, Ginobili could see meaningful minutes in the mid 20s. Plus, the Spurs do not have any back-to-backs for their three games this week. There are worse players to use this week in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:22 pm
  • Wade not playing on Sunday in Memphis
Dwyane Wade (rest) will not play against the Grizzlies on Sunday.

Advice: He did not travel after Saturday's game, so it's scheduled rest. On Saturday, he was more aggressive than usual with 22 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes. The Bulls have another back-to-back starting on Friday and another one on Jan. 24-25, so Wade could sit in some of those. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:11 pm
  • Alec Burks will be in the rotation
Alec Burks will be in the rotation with Joe Johnson (rest) out on Saturday against the Magic.

Advice: We saw Burks get five minutes on Friday night, but he didn't play well on the offensive side. The Jazz loved him at times last year with some point guard minutes, but he's in a tight spot for minutes. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:49 pm
  • Austin Rivers scores 15 points in start
Austin Rivers scored 15 points with one rebound, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer against the Lakers on Saturday.

Advice: He likely has the starting job locked up with his dad trusting him against small forwards of all sizes until Blake Griffin (knee) comes back. Rivers has been very effective in his last four, averaging 19.0 points, 3.8 boards, 4.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.0 treys. He'll be taking a big hit once BG comes back and only has three games for the upcoming week, so Rivers' value isn't the greatest going forward. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:26 pm
  • Raymond Felton scores 15 points vs. Lakers
Raymond Felton scored 15 points with two rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes against the Lakers on Saturday.

Advice: This wasn't really a garbage-time special for Felton in a very impressive game. He also played next to Chris Paul for eight minutes today, which is close to double his average in the 20 previous games they were paired together. Felton has been hanging around top-150 value in his last 10, but that's still close to his ceiling while CP3 is healthy. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:19 pm
  • Dwyane Wade to play Saturday, rest Sunday
Dwyane Wade will play on Saturday against the Pelicans and will rest on Sunday against the Grizzlies.

Advice: It's a back-to-back set for Wade, but he should get heavy minutes tonight now that there is a plan in place. He's an interesting option with Jimmy Butler possibly not at 100 percent. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 12:22 pm
  • Jackson: 'It's been a season from hell'
Reggie Jackson voiced his frustration regarding the Pistons poor defense after getting blown out by the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: "It has to be fixed -- or it's going to be a long (expletive) season," Jackson said. "It's been a season from hell so far. So it's going to be a long-(expletive) season if we don't find a way to fix it." Over the last 15 games, the Pistons possess the second-worst defensive rating in the NBA while allowing 111.0 points per game. Coach Stan Van Gundy has tried to tweak the lineup but hasn't found the right recipe. Jackson has struggled himself but his minutes will likely stay consistently high. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:33 am
  • Iman Shumpert plays great in start
Iman Shumpert was effective in a start against the Kings on Friday, scoring 16 points with two steals and four 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

Advice: After the game, LeBron James said he was trying to get Shumpert going partly because Shump was wearing LeBron's retro No. 1 sneakers tonight. Obviously there won't be many shots going Shump's way in that first unit, so he's only worth a look in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:06 pm
  • Caris LeVert slows down on Friday
Caris LeVert scored three points with one rebound and one 3-pointer against the Raptors in 19 minutes on Friday.

Advice: The stat line looks bad, but there are a lot of positives. Even after a really bad defensive game on Thursday, coach Kenny Atkinson put LeVert on DeRozan a lot tonight. Plus, his teammates missed a lot of shots off great passes. LeVert is still more of a stash, but his coach loves him and he should start trending up the more the Nets lose. They've lost nine straight. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:49 pm
  • Iman Shumpert will start at SG on Friday
Iman Shumpert will replace DeAndre Liggins in the starting lineup Friday night vs. Sacramento.

Advice: Despite getting promoted into starting lineup, it's hard to get excited about Shump's fantasy prospects. Over the Cavs last eight games, he has seen plenty of playing time (26.1 minutes per contest) but is averaging just 5.4 points (shooting 36.4 percent from the floor and 16.7 percent from downtown), 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists. With Kyle Korver now in the mix, Shump will likely see his minutes reduced, even if he remains the starter. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:02 am
  • Eric Bledsoe has a quiet night vs. Dallas
Eric Bledsoe scored 11 points with six rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in 28 minutes against the Mavericks on Thursday.

Advice: Bledsoe attempted just four shots which tied his season-low. He has had a strong January, averaging 24 points, 7.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and two steals per game prior to tonight’s contest. He has a tough task on Saturday against the Spurs, so fantasy owners should temper their expectations for him in that contest. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:59 pm
  • Kawhi Leonard scores 31 points on 13 FGAs
Kawhi Leonard was on fire early in a 134-94 win over the Lakers on Thursday, making 10-of-13 from the field for 31 points with two rebounds, two assists, two steals, three 3-pointers and no turnovers in just 26 minutes.

Advice: His 24 points in the first half was a career high and he also made 8-of-9 from the line for some magnificent efficiency. Leonard became the only player to score at least 30 points in fewer than 29 minutes in multiple games this season -- he scored 30 in 27 minutes on Dec. 10. His offense may have caught up to his defense. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:04 pm
  • Dwyane Wade scores 22 in return to action
Dwyane Wade returned from a rest and played 33 minutes on Thursday, hitting 9-of-20 shots for 22 points, three rebounds and three assists in an ugly loss to the Knicks.

Advice: The Bulls hit just 5-of-21 shots in the third quarter and Wade hit most of those, causing Fred Hoiberg to go with his bench for much of the second half. Wade was the only regular to play his normal allotment of minutes tonight and has scored at least 20 points in three straight games. The Bulls have a back-to-back set on Saturday and Sunday, so it will be interesting to see if Wade plays in both of them. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:43 pm
  • Reggie Jackson is starting vs. GSW
Reggie Jackson will start against the Warriors on Thursday.

Advice: On Tuesday, he had a dehydration issue for the second time in the last 12 months, so hopefully the Pistons do a better job in that department. He should be ready to go and will likely be asked to score a ton tonight. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:06 pm
  • Caris LeVert scores 10 points in loss
Caris LeVert scored 10 points with three rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes against the Pelicans on Thursday.

Advice: He did close this game out after he was the 10th Net to see action. LeVert's offense has been all over the highlights for his explosive style, but he had a really rough time on the defensive end against Tyreke Evans. LeVert played 24.0 minutes per game over his four games and it feels like it's just a matter of time before he starts. We still view him as more of a stash, but his attractiveness as a fantasy asset increases with every Nets loss. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 6:58 pm
  • Dwyane Wade will start on Thursday
Dwyane Wade will start against the Knicks on Thursday.

Advice: He is not expected to be limited and he may be very busy with Jimmy Butler (illness) out tonight. Wade is a DFS option tonight, especially with how awful the Knicks have been on defense lately. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 3:48 pm
  • Alec Burks says he's making progress
Alec Burks said he feels like he is "back to where I was before I got hurt" after playing extended minutes in the D-Leauge on Wednesday.

Advice: "Yeah. I’m fast," Burks said. "That’s what I guess [the Jazz] wanted to see. When I found out my leg was good and steady and stable, I knew I was going to be back, as aggressive as I was." Burks scored 17 points, but only shot 5-of-17 from the floor and is still shaking off some rust. He's not expected to spend more time in the D-League, but it's going to be hard for him to find minutes on the Jazz as they have one of the deepest rosters in the West. He needs a trade in order to have value. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 6:13 am
  • Raymond Felton hits 4-of-6 shots in 16 mins
Raymond Felton came off the bench vs. Orlando on Wednesday, making 4-of-6 shots to finish with eight points and three boards in 17 minutes.

Advice: Felton started L.A.'s last game, but he returned to the second unit with Austin Rivers healthy tonight. Felton can be ignored in most leagues, but he's an interesting streaming play when injuries strike L.A.'s backcourt. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:31 pm
  • Austin Rivers returns in 33 mins Wednesday
Austin Rivers (illness) returned to action on Wednesday with nine points, five assists, four rebounds and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes of action.

Advice: Rivers moved back into the starting five alongside Chris Paul, J.J. Redick, Luc Mbah a Moute and DeAndre Jordan, as the Clippers continue to go small in the absence of Blake Griffin (knee). He's worth a glance if you need points, 3-pointers and a dash of assists, but he's not a well-rounded roto option. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:30 pm
  • Raymond Felton headed to bench Wednesday
Raymond Felton will likely shift to the bench with Austin Rivers returning to the starting lineup on Wednesday.

Advice: Rivers missed Sunday's game with the flu but he's healthy tonight, so the veteran Felton's minutes should take a significant hit. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:56 pm
  • Austin Rivers (illness) will start vs. Magic
Austin Rivers (illness) will start against the Magic on Wednesday.

Advice: His dad is also well enough to coach tonight. Rivers absolutely went off against the Magic in their last game on Dec. 14 with 25 points, so maybe he can have another big outing. Because he's playing well these days, Rivers is worth a look in standard leagues while he's going strong. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:54 pm
  • Reggie Jackson practices on Wednesday
Reggie Jackson (dehydration) practiced on Wednesday.

Advice: He should be all set for Thursday night against the big game at Golden State on Thursday. Jackson played a whopping 47 minutes against the Blazers on Sunday and played 31 minutes on Tuesday before his dehydration. He looks like he's trending up. It's worth a mention he had a dehydration issue back in February, so someone needs to get him some water and/or electrolytes. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:45 pm
  • Reggie Jackson treated for dehydration
Reggie Jackson was treated for dehydration following Detroit's 100-94 loss to Sacramento on Tuesday.

Advice: Jackson has dealt with hydration issues in the past, but it's never been something that has forced him to the sidelines, so he should be just fine for Thursday's game in Oakland. After a slow start to the year, Jackson has been rolling over the past seven games, posting top-50 value behind averages of 21.9 points, 6.7 assists, 2.0 triples and 2.4 turnovers per game on 48.0 percent shooting. This is probably his peak, so owners may want to pursue some sell-high opportunities. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:57 am
