• Mason Plumlee signs one-year deal with Suns
Mason Plumlee has agreed to a one-year deal with the Phoenix Suns, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Advice: Plumlee logged just under 15 minutes per tilt across 46 appearances for Los Angeles last season. He’ll compete with Bol Bol and Thad Young for backup minutes behind Jusuf Nurkic next season. Plumlee is off the fantasy radar in fantasy leagues of nearly all sizes. Rotoworld Today, 7:08 pm
  • Heading to Phoenix
Plumlee agreed to a one-year deal with the Suns on Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: Plumlee has bounced around the league throughout most of his career, and he'll be on the move again after agreeing to a short-term deal with Phoenix. He made 46 regular-season appearances (11 starts) with the Clippers last year and averaged 5.3 points and 5.1 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per game. He'll attempt to bounce back with his new team but will likely have to settle for a depth role once again. Rotowire.com Today, 7:02 pm
  • Shams: LAC signs Kevin Porter Jr. to two-year deal
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Clippers have signed Kevin Porter Jr. to a two-year deal that includes a player option.

Advice: Due to alleged domestic violence charges in September 2023, Porter did not play at all in the NBA last season. Houston traded him to Oklahoma City, who waived the 2019 first-round pick just before the start of the season. He reached a plea agreement in January, with the charges being pleaded down to a third-degree misdemeanor for reckless assault. KPJ played in Greece for six weeks in April and May. By joining the Clippers, Porter can show he can be productive on a team with playoff ambitions. How valuable he can be with the Clippers depends on what happens with Paul George and Russell Westbrook. The former is an unrestricted free agent, while the latter could be on the move despite opting into the final season of his contract. If George and Westbrook move on, Porter is one of the players who could benefit from the available playing time. Rotoworld Today, 4:22 pm
  • Returning to NBA with Clippers
Porter and the Clippers agreed to terms Sunday on a two-year deal, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: According to Kelly Iko of The Athletic, the second year of the deal is a player option, and both years are for the veteran's minimum and are fully guaranteed. Porter didn't play in the NBA this past season after being arrested on an assault charge on a domestic incident that occurred in September, with the Rockets trading him a month later to the Thunder, who immediately waived him. In January, Porter accepted a plea deal in relation to the arrest, then played overseas in Greece in the spring. Though Porter's legal situation looks to be resolved, it's unclear whether he'll face discipline from the NBA during the 2024-25 season now that he's resurfaced in the league with the Clippers. Over 59 regular-season appearances with the Rockets during the 2022-23 campaign, Porter averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 34.3 minutes per game. Even if Porter isn't subject to any sort of suspension, he won't be in store for nearly as large of a role with LA as he had previously handled in Houston. Rotowire.com Today, 4:19 pm
  • Shams: Celtics, Neemias Queta agree to extension
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Neemias Queta has agreed to a multi-year deal to remain with the Celtics.

Advice: Queta was out of the Celtics rotation for most of last season, averaging 11.9 minutes per game in 28 appearances. However, Kristaps Porzingis undergoing leg surgery will open up opportunities for players such as Queta and Luke Kornet, as KP is expected to miss 5-6 months. Queta isn’t a draftable player in fantasy leagues, but he may have streaming value throughout the season. Rotoworld Today, 4:04 pm
  • Slated to return to Boston
Queta agreed Sunday to a multi-year deal with the Celtics, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The Celtics declined Queta's $2.2 million team option for 2024-25 on Saturday, but the team had been eager to bring him back as an unrestricted free agent if the price was right. Queta perhaps quickly assessed his options on the open market and ultimately agreed to stick around in Boston. Though he was largely outside of Boston's rotation in 2023-24 while spending most of the season as a two-way player, Queta produced well when called upon, averaging 5.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game. The Celtics should have room for at least one of Queta or Luke Kornet in the rotation in the early part of the season as a primary backup to Al Horford, as Kristaps Porzingis (foot) likely won't be ready to play in at least the first handful of games. • Parts ways with Utah
The Jazz will waive Yurtseven on Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: Yurtseven was scheduled to earn $2.66 million in 2024-25, but since that portion of the two-year deal he signed in July 2023 was non-guaranteed, the Jazz will be free of any financial obligation by waiving him. The 6-foot-11 center made 48 appearances for Utah in 2023-24, averaging 4.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 11.4 minutes. He'll look to find work elsewhere as a second- or third-string center. • Woj: Omer Yurtseven to be waived by Jazz
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Jazz will waive Omer Yurtseven.

Advice: Yurtseven logged just 11.4 minutes per game in his only season with Utah, though he was productive when given substantial playing time. In five games with at least 25 minutes played, the seven-footer averaged 11.4 points, 11.4 boards, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks. He grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds in Utah’s season finale. • Latches on with GSW
Knox is part of the Warriors' Summer League roster.

Advice: Knox started the 2023-24 campaign with Detroit but was traded to the Jazz in February and released shortly after, ending up with the Rip City Remix of the G League. The 2018 lottery pick will get a chance to prove he's worthy of a roster spot with Golden State this Summer. Rotowire.com Today, 1:38 pm
