    • Report: Nicolas Batum not returning to 76ers
According to Kelly Iko of The Athletic, Nicolas Batum will not be re-signing with the 76ers.

Advice: While Batum gave the 76ers solid minutes last season, re-signing him is not a priority, with Paul George and Klay Thompson being rumored targets. Batum should land with a team with playoff ambitions, but he’s unlikely to do enough to offer reliable fantasy value. Rotoworld Today, 3:28 pm
    • Report: Kings pursuing trade for Brandon Ingram
According to Sean Cunningham of the Sacramento Bee, the Kings are pursuing a trade for Pelicans wing Brandon Ingram.

Advice: Pelicans lead executive David Griffin hinted that significant changes were coming to the team’s roster after they were swept out of the playoffs. Ingram’s name has often been mentioned in the trade rumor mill, as he’s entering the final season of his current contract. Sacramento needs to increase its wing production, so it makes sense that the Kings would come up in the most recent Ingram rumor. Also, former Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry is part of the Sacramento front office, and Ingram’s emergence coincided with Gentry’s time in New Orleans. Rotoworld Today, 3:15 pm
    • Shams: Klay officially leaving Warriors
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports that Klay Thompson will leave the Warriors in free agency.

Advice: Shams notes that the two sides will work on sign-and-trade options. It’s not a surprising update, but we’ve finally received confirmation that Thompson will not be a Warrior after 13 seasons and four rings with the franchise that drafted him. Rotoworld Today, 3:04 pm
    • Woj: Max Christie to ink 4-year, $32M extension
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Max Christie intends to sign a four-year, $32 million deal to remain with the Lakers.

Advice: A 2022 second-round pick out of Michigan State, Christie averaged 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds across 14.1 minutes in 67 appearances last season. Woj notes that Christie has been a “developmental success story” for the Lakers, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be a success story for your fantasy hoops team. There’s no reason to target Christie in 2024-25 drafts. Rotoworld Today, 2:13 pm
    • Staying in L.A. on four-year deal
Christie agreed Sunday with the Lakers on a four-year, $32 million deal, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: After tending a qualifying offer to Christie, the Lakers had the right to match any offer the young guard might have received as a restricted free agent, but the two sides worked quickly to come to terms on a new deal. The 21-year-old appeared in 67 games (seven starts) in his second NBA season in 2023-24, averaging 4.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 14.1 minutes. He fell out of the rotation during the postseason, but the Lakers' financial commitment to Christie likely suggests he's expected to become more of a key cog on the second unit in 2024-25. • Latches on with GSW
Knox is part of the Warriors' Summer League roster.

Advice: Knox started the 2023-24 campaign with Detroit but was traded to the Jazz in February and released shortly after, ending up with the Rip City Remix of the G League. The 2018 lottery pick will get a chance to prove he's worthy of a roster spot with Golden State this Summer. Rotowire.com Today, 1:38 pm
    • Haynes: ‘Growing optimism’ PHI signs Paul George
According to TNT’s Chris Haynes, there is “growing optimism” that Philadelphia will sign Paul George in free agency.

Advice: George’s desire for a four-year deal factored into his decision to opt out of the final season of his contract, as the Clippers have only offered three-year pacts thus far. Philadelphia has long been rumored as a potential landing spot for George, and the 76ers clearly remain interested despite reports to the contrary on June 20. George will reportedly hold meetings with the Clippers, 76ers, and Magic when free agency begins, but it’s fair to wonder if this report changes things for LA and Orlando. Rotoworld Today, 1:05 pm
    • Expected to find new home
Bullock is unlikely to return to Houston in free agency, Kelly Iko of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Bullock inked a one-year deal with the Rockets last offseason, but the 32-year-old isn't expected to remain in Houston. He played just 9.5 minutes per game in 2023-24, the first time he's averaged fewer than 23 minutes since 2015-16. Still, Bullock's three-point prowess and positional versatility will likely attract plenty of suitors, including playoff teams. Rotowire.com Today, 10:33 am
    • Becoming restricted free agent
San Antonio extended Duke a qualifying offer Sunday, Jeff Garcia of KENS 5 San Antonio reports.

Advice: Duke didn't appear in a game for San Antonio last season until April despite being on a two-way contract. Still, he was a standout performer with the Spurs' G League affiliate, and the Spurs will now have the option to match opposing offers. Rotowire.com Today, 7:19 am
