  • Dejounte Murray expected to be available
Dejounte Murray (ankle) is expected to be available for Thursday against the Nuggets.

Advice: He may actually get a start after missing the last two games. Murray has almost no value right now, but he is playing better. Rotoworld.com 42 minutes ago
  • Brandon Knight playing on Thursday
Brandon Knight (wrist) is playing on Thursday night.

Advice: The Suns haven't exactly been forthcoming on Knight's status, but he's out there playing in the first quarter. Knight is not worth owning in shallower leagues right now. Rotoworld.com Today, 4:37 pm
  • West All-Star starters named on Thursday
Stephen Curry, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis were named as the Western Conference All-Star starters.

Advice: That's right. Russell Westbrook is averaging a triple-double and he's not going to be starting the All-Star Game. Westbrook is also on pace for the record for usage rate and is second in the NBA in assists per game. Curry got a bump to get the nod over Westy due to the fan voting, but he's certainly playing like an All-Star. Rotoworld.com Today, 4:14 pm
  • Jeremy Lin (hamstring) ruled out for Friday
Jeremy Lin (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday against the Pelicans.

Advice: We don't even know when Lin is going to practice yet, so he's out indefinitely. Lin has hinted that him missing games is more than just about him being healthy, so the team may want to look at their younger players. Isaiah Whitehead and Spencer Dinwiddie have split the minutes for the most part, but neither are worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:23 pm

  • George Hill will play on Friday night
George Hill (ankle) will play on Friday night against the Mavs.

Advice: He suffered a late ankle tweak on Monday, but he was never considered serious. That said, Hill's injury track record this season is automatically cause for concern, so his owners have to be happy to hear he'll be good to go. He should be starting in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:42 pm
  • Randle expected to get another 10-day deal
Chasson Randle is expected to get a second 10-day contract from the 76ers.

Advice: Randle has only made two appearances so far, but he has impressed with 13 points, two rebounds, one assist, two steals and three triples in a combined 22 minutes. He's currently third on the depth chart behind T.J. McConnell and Sergio Rodriguez, but he could get an extended look this week so the 76ers can make a decision on his long-term future with the franchise. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:36 am
  • 76ers will take a 'hard look' at Jrue Holiday
According to Zach Lowe of ESPN, the 76ers will take a "hard look" at Jrue Holiday.

Advice: The 76ers traded away Holiday to start "The Process" back in 2013, but he would be an interesting fit next to Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid in Philly. Holiday is set to become a free agent and several teams will be in the market for a PG including Philly, Orlando, New York and Sacramento, and the Pelicans are worried that he will walk this summer. It's not clear if the 76ers will entertain the idea of trading for Holiday when they can just wait until the summer to make him an offer, but this is something to keep an eye on as we approach the Feb. 23 deadline. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:32 am
  • Monta Ellis has another terrible game
Monta Ellis scored two points with four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 29 minutes against the Kings on Wednesday.

Advice: He's had a miserable season and maybe he's not healthy. Ellis has scored two points in three of his last five games and has seen his usage drop big time. If you want to drop Ellis for a hot free agent, we still don't blame you. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:45 pm
  • Darren Collison plays well vs. Pacers
Darren Collison scored 11 points with two rebounds, nine assists, four steals and no turnovers in 37 minutes against the Pacers on Wednesday.

Advice: Collison only gets a 1.3 usage rate bump when he's not next to Rudy Gay (Achilles) this season. On the other hand, his efficiency falls off a cliff when he's not next to Gay, posting only a 46.1 true shooting percentage (TS%) without him and a 65.7 TS% with him. Discouraging stat aside, Collison should still be worth owning in standard leagues and should trend up. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:35 pm
  • Russell Westbrook gets his 21st triple-double
Russell Westbrook picked up his 21st triple-double of the season on Wednesday with 27 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists, but he also had 10 turnovers in a lopsided loss to the Warriors.

Advice: Westbrook had his triple-double halfway through the third quarter, marking the 22nd time in his career that he's done it in three quarters or less. He made 8-of-23 FGs and 10-of-11 FTs tonight, with two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer, and continues to be a ridiculous fantasy asset on a nightly basis, especially in DFS and points leagues. Tonight's loss drops the Thunder into a virtual tie with Memphis for the No. 7 seed in the West, but they're still six games up on the No. 8 seed Nuggets. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:26 pm
  • Garrett Temple drops nine points in 29 mins
Garrett Temple played 29 minutes off the bench against the Pacers on Wednesday with nine points, four rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He should be getting a big bump in usage and playing time with Rudy Gay (Achilles). In the previous stretch Gay missed 10 of 11 games, Temple averaged 10.2 points, 3.4 boards, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 treys on 42.4 percent from the field and 89.5 percent from the line. That was good for eighth-round value, so he is worth a look in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:15 pm
  • James Harden scores 38 points in victory
James Harden put on an offensive clinic during a 111-92 win over the Bucks on Wednesday, scoring 38 points with six rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and four 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Advice: If you didn't see this game, you missed a great one with Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo going off. Antetokounmpo gave Harden some props after the game. "I think I can say right now he is the best player in the league," Giannis said. Harden has been surging over his last seven, averaging 34.3 points, 9.0 boards, 10.1 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks and 3.9 treys on 63.2 true shooting percentage. This game also moved him past Anthony Davis for No. 2 on the points per game leader board this season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:17 pm
  • Reggie Jackson's 26 points lead DET past ATL
Reggie Jackson drained 10-of-20 shots en route to 26 points on Wednesday, adding five boards, four assists and two 3-pointers in an easy 118-95 win vs. Atlanta.

Advice: Detroit scored 42 points in the first quarter tonight, their highest-scoring quarter of the entire season, and Jackson was the early engine of the offense. He's really found a groove in January, averaging 19.5 points, 1.8 triples, 5.4 assists and 0.9 steals, which is more in line with his numbers from last season. His owners' patience is finally paying off. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:09 pm
  • Pat Beverley scores 12 points vs. Bucks
Patrick Beverley scored 12 points with nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks, three steals and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Advice: That's a massive stat line in standard leagues and Beverley now has multiple steals in five consecutive games. He also has at least seven rebounds in each of his last three. Despite Beverley's 6'1" frame, he ranks eighth for rebounding percentage among all guards with at least 10 starts this season. This monster game moved him to a top-45 player this season. He's been a steal in fantasy. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:08 pm
  • Tyreke Evans fills it up in just 20 minutes
Tyreke Evans made the most of his 20 minutes vs. the Magic on Wednesday, scoring 18 points with five assists, four rebounds, three steals and four 3-pointers.

Advice: New Orleans' offense ran wild tonight and Evans looked great once again -- over the past five games he's now averaging 17.0 points on 50.0 percent FGs and 92.9 percent FTs, 1.6 triples, 3.2 boards, 4.4 assists and 2.0 steals. He said he's "getting used to [a bench role], just coming off, being aggressive," and he needs to be in your active lineups in light of his recent success. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:04 pm
  • Jrue Holiday gets five steals in win vs Magic
Jrue Holiday stole the ball five times vs. the Magic on Wednesday, while scoring 14 points with five assists, two rebounds and two blocks in just 26 minutes.

Advice: The Pelicans have "tried something new" by going small lately, and coach Alvin Gentry noted that "it increases the pace" but makes it hard to compete on the boards. New Orleans wound up with a season-high 38 fast-break points tonight, and Holiday could have had an even bigger line if the game weren't out of hand in the fourth quarter. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:02 pm
  • Brandon Knight (wrist) questionable Thursday
Brandon Knight (wrist) is questionable to play against the Cavs on Thursday.

Advice: He has missed the last two games with his wrist sprain. Knight is barely in the rotation right now. If he's out, Tyler Ulis would likely see more minutes and it's worth a mention Devin Booker played 46 minutes in regulation on Monday. Knight needs a trade to save his value, so he may not be worth owning in shallower leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:31 am
  • Report: 76ers will target Jrue Holiday as UFA
The 76ers will reportedly "take a hard look" at Jrue Holiday during free agency this offseason.

Advice: Holiday will be an unrestricted free agent when the offseason hits, and Holiday will be one of the more attractive point guards on the market, and he also makes sense in Philly's system as he could work off the ball next to Ben Simmons. We still have a long way to go until free agency, so this is just something to file away for later. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:26 am
  • James Harden struggles for 13th triple-double
James Harden hit just 12-of-30 shots, 4-of-15 3-pointers and 12-of-13 free throws for 40 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to record his 13th triple-double of the season in Tuesday's 109-103 loss to the Heat.

Advice: As much as Kevin Durant is constantly a model of efficiency, Harden tends to drift to the opposite side of the scale, and his six turnovers didn't help matters. But regardless of how poorly he's shooting the ball, he makes up for the poor FG percentage and TOs with a ton of points, boards, assists and a high volume free throw percentage. He also had two steals, but he would have traded the trip-dub for a win over an inferior team tonight. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:06 pm
  • Jeremy Lin (hamstring) out Tuesday vs. TOR
Jeremy Lin (hamstring) will not play Tuesday vs. Toronto.

Advice: He's out indefinitely, and we're going to stop updating his status until he clears some sort of benchmark for getting back to the court (he's still not practicing). Isaiah Whitehead and Spencer Dinwiddie will continue to man the point guard position in Lin's absence, but neither guy is worth a roster spot in most settings. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 3:00 pm

  • Russell Westbrook scores 24 points in loss
Russell Westbrook scored 24 points on 7-of-19 shooting with five rebounds, four assists, two steals, two triples and four turnovers in Monday's blowout loss to the Clippers.

Advice: It's amazing that a line like this can actually be called an off night, but that's how good Westy has been this season. He's still averaging a triple-double on the year, so his owners have nothing to complain about. He gets a matchup with Kevin Durant and the Warriors on Wednesday, but he struggled in their first meeting with 20 points on 4-of-15 shooting. He will still be a recommended DFS target for obvious reasons. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:35 pm
  • George Hill tweaks ankle in win over Suns
George Hill 7-of-18 shots and 1-of-8 3-pointers for 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes of Monday's win over the Suns.

Advice: He left late in the game with a sprained ankle, but it doesn't appear to be serious and he wasn't noticeably limping after the game. Injuries have been a huge problem for Hill this season, so check to make sure he's good to go against the Mavericks on Friday against the Mavericks. The good news is that he has a full three days to recover before Friday's game. If he's out, Shelvin Mack would benefit the most. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:07 pm
  • Stephen Curry hands out 11 assists in win
Stephen Curry scored 20 points and matched his season high with 11 assists in Monday's win over the Cavaliers.

Advice: Curry was quiet when these two teams met on Christmas day, but he looked much more comfortable out there this time. He finished 7-of-20 from the field and 5-of-12 from beyond the arc, adding two rebounds and four steals in 31 minutes. Curry has been a new player since the turn of the year and was averaging 29.2 points, 6.2 assists and 4.2 3-pointers in his previous six January games. This is the Curry fantasy owners spent a top-3 pick on. Rotoworld.com Monday, 7:55 pm
  • Update: Brandon Knight (wrist) out Monday
Updating a previous report, Brandon Knight (sprained right wrist) will not play on Monday vs. the Jazz.

Advice: A previous report indicated that he will be "available," but the Suns will hold him out for the second straight game. Knight wasn't even updated on Saturday vs. the Spurs and showed up in the box score as a "DNP-sprained right wrist," so it's not clear when he will return to action. He's just a stash in the hope that he's traded before the deadline. Rotoworld.com Monday, 5:24 pm
  • Jrue Holiday scores 11 w/ six assists
Jrue Holiday scored 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting with six assists, two rebounds, one steal and two triples vs. the Pacers on Monday.

Advice: Holiday only played 26 minutes because E'Twaun Moore had the hot hand off the bench Monday. His minutes are down in January and he's coming off a one-point dud in his previous outing vs. the Bulls, but this has opened up a nice buy-low opportunity for savvy fantasy owners. Holiday has early-round upside and was a monster after the All-Star break last season, so hopefully he can find his form soon. Moore is not a long-term threat. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:53 pm
  • Brandon Knight (wrist) available to play
Brandon Knight (sprained right wrist) will be available to play Monday vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Available to play doesn't always mean will play, so Knight is a dubious fantasy target in most settings tonight. Over the past month, Knight has only been averaging 18.1 minutes a game, ranking well outside the top-150, so he can only be viewed as a stash with hopes he'll get traded to a better situation. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:32 pm
  • Tyreke Evans scores 12 points in loss
Tyreke Evans scored 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting in Monday's loss to the Pacers.

Advice: Evans appeared to bang his surgically-repaired left knee on the floor after a layup attempt and he was seen rubbing it, but he was able to carry on and didn't appear to be limited. Evans' owners are going to freak out whenever they hear about his left knee, but it sounds like he escaped with just a bruise. He added five rebounds, four assists and two steals in 23 minutes, and he could be looking at a larger role if Anthony Davis (back) is forced to miss any time -- the last time Davis missed a game, Evans went off for a season-high 29 points with four rebounds, three assists, four steals, one block and two 3-pointers. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:30 pm
  • Chasson Randle scores 10 in 16 minutes
Chasson Randle scored a career-high 10 points in just 16 minutes vs. the Bucks on Monday.

Advice: T.J. McConnell (wrist) could be looking at a lengthy absence, and while Sergio Rodriguez started and logged 32 minutes, Randle impressed in limited minutes and made a case for a larger workload going forward. He finished 3-of-6 from the field with two rebounds, one assist, one steal and two triples, so he should be on your radar if you're in a deeper league. We'd be surprised if the 76ers didn't sign him to another 10-day contract and it's possible that they have just found another gem. Rotoworld.com Monday, 3:23 pm
  • Dejounte Murray (ankle) out Tuesday vs. MIN
Dejounte Murray (sprained right ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: He's a negligible part of the rotation on most nights, so his absence from Tuesday's game will have zero consequence in fantasy hoops. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:09 pm
  • Russell Westbrook triple-doubles vs. Kings
Russell Westbrook scored 36 points, with 11 rebounds, 10 assists, four steals and four 3-pointers in Sunday’s 122-118 victory over the Kings.

Advice: He shot the ball well today, hitting 11-of-21 field goals and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, while recording his 20th triple-double of the season. He does have a tendency to turn the ball over a lot, but makes up for it by stuffing the stat sheet on a nightly basis. He remains the league’s leader with a 41.1 percent usage rate. The Thunder are 16-4 whenever Westbrook has triple-doubled this season. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:52 pm
  • Darren Collison scores 21 points in loss
Darren Collison scored 21 points with two assists, two steals, one rebound and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes in Sunday’s 118-122 loss to the Thunder.

Advice: This was his third 20-point game of the month. He is averaging 29.3 minutes, 16.1 points, 3.4 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per game in January. Ty Lawson (ankle) left tonight’s game after suffering an ankle injury. The Kings next game is on Wednesday, so Lawson has plenty of time to rest, but if he misses any time, Collison would see an increased role and handle the majority of the PG duties. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:53 pm
  • Patrick Beverley posts all-around gem vs Nets
Patrick Beverley got back on track during Sunday's game in Brooklyn, scoring 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting with four 3-pointers, seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and zero turnovers.

Advice: Beverley played just 27 minutes in the blowout road win, and it was great to see his shot falling -- he averaged only 5.0 points on 25.0 percent shooting in his previous four games. In spite of the recent slump, Bev has been a terrific fantasy asset with career-high averages in boards (6.1), assists (4.4) and steals (1.5), to go along with 8.9 points and 1.6 threes. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:10 pm
  • James Harden gets 12th triple-double Sunday
James Harden posted another triple-double on Sunday, his 12th of the season, with 22 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, four 3-pointers, one steal and one block.

Advice: The Rockets scored 74 points in the first half, matching a season-high, and they finished with 137 points in a high-scoring rout in Brooklyn. Harden trails Russell Westbrook's 19 triple-doubles, but he leads the league with 35 double-doubles. Any way you slice it, he's been amazing in both reality and fantasy. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:08 pm
  • Brandon Knight (wrist) didn't play
Brandon Knight showed up on the box score as a "DNP-sprained right wrist" on Saturday.

Advice: As far as we can tell, there was nothing on Knight before or after the game on Knight's status from the team or the people covering the team right now. Knight was out for the same ailment back on Jan. 3, so take that for what it's worth. Obviously Knight won't be playing much with the Suns wanting to get a look at Tyler Ulis, so he will need a trade or an injury to the starters to have value. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 10:42 am
  • Stephen Curry intends to re-sign with GSW
Stephen Curry made it clear once again that he will re-sign with the Warriors this summer.

Advice: "I can’t," Curry said when asked if he could see himself leaving the Warriors as a free agent. "Like I’ve said from Day 1 when I was first asked about free agency, this is a perfect place to play. Bay Area fans are amazing, our organization’s amazing, we’ve put together an amazing team that’s competing for championships every year." Under the new CBA, the Warriors could potentially offer Curry a five-year extension worth about $209 million, while opposing teams would only be able to offer a four-year deal worth about $133 million. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:52 am
  • Chasson Randle has a rough debut
Chasson Randle made a 3-pointer off his only attempt from the field in his NBA debut on Saturday, adding one steal and no turnover in six minutes.

Advice: It was only garbage time for the Stanford product to come in. Techincally, Chasson Randle is at least tied for the most efficient player in NBA history with his 150.0 effective field goal percentage because that's the best possible outcome. Leave him on the wire, though. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:36 pm
  • Tyreke Evans scores 14 points
Tyreke Evans made 6-of-15 from the field 14 points with one rebound, six assists, one steal and one turnover in 22 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday.

Advice: Bad shooting line aside, Evans really does look great. He's run the offense for most of his minutes while he's out there and he's playing three positions in the process. There's a massive injury risk on Evans going forward, but his owners can start using him as a must-start player when active. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:18 pm
  • Jrue Holiday struggles vs. Bulls
Jrue Holiday missed all seven attempts from the field against the Bulls on Saturday, adding one point, three rebounds and 12 assists in 29 minutes.

Advice: It was a bad day for Holiday for obvious reasons. He did also tweak his foot or ankle, but he didn't need to miss time. Another negative is that Tyreke Evans was really in control of the offense and had a better feel for where the weak spots of the defense were. To be clear, there's no need to worry about Holiday, but there could be an adjustment period playing with Evans. He should flirt with early-round value once he gets it going. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:16 pm
  • Jeremy Lin remains out for Sunday night
Jeremy Lin (hamstring) will not play on Sunday against the Rockets.

Advice: He wants to play in the next week or so, but some comments from the Nets suggest Lin sitting out is more than just getting him healthy. In other words, Lin is likely out for quite a few games despite how he said he's healing faster than his last hamstring strain. If you're going to stash him, you will need some serious patience. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 2:08 pm

  • Jackson: 'It's been a season from hell'
Reggie Jackson voiced his frustration regarding the Pistons poor defense after getting blown out by the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: "It has to be fixed -- or it's going to be a long (expletive) season," Jackson said. "It's been a season from hell so far. So it's going to be a long-(expletive) season if we don't find a way to fix it." Over the last 15 games, the Pistons possess the second-worst defensive rating in the NBA while allowing 111.0 points per game. Coach Stan Van Gundy has tried to tweak the lineup but hasn't found the right recipe. Jackson has struggled himself but his minutes will likely stay consistently high. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:33 am
  • George Hill scores 22 w/ five 3-pointers
George Hill scored 22 points with five 3-pointers in Friday's blowout win over the Pistons.

Advice: He shot a blistering 8-of-13 from the field with four rebounds, one assist and one turnover, but only played 27 minutes due to the lopsided score. Hill is averaging 17.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.8 triples over his last four games since returning from a concussion, but all he has to do now is stay on the court. He's been a top-30 player in standard leagues when you don't factor in the games he's missed. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:09 pm
  • James Harden scores 27 points in loss
James Harden scored 27 points in a 110-105 home loss to the Grizzlies on Friday, adding three rebounds, nine assists and two 3-pointers.

Advice: Coach Mike D'Antoni was a little late on putting Harden back in during this game, which may have been a factor in the loss. The Rockets are now on their first losing streak of the season, but you can bet they'll be snapping out of it in Brooklyn on Sunday. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:29 pm
  • Pat Beverley has a light scoring game
Patrick Beverley scored six points with two rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block and no turnovers in 33 minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday.

Advice: He is still playing through some wrist soreness, which may explain why he missed all three shots from deep. Beverley was still putting up mid-round value before this wrist issue, so his owners should exercise some patience. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:23 pm
  • Russell Westbrook drops 19th triple-double
Russell Westbrook dropped his 19th triple-double of the season during a 96-86 loss to the Wolves on Friday, scoring 21 points with 11 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: This was actually a brutal game for him, making just 7-of-23 from the field and turning it over 10 times to give him the bad quad-double. Westbrook was asked about turning in his 19th triple-double to set a record for the most in a season since the merger. "It don't mean [expletive]. We lost," Westbrook said. For what it's worth, the Thunder are 15-4 when Westy drops a triple-double this season. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:52 pm
  • Dejounte Murray (ankle) won't play Saturday
Dejounte Murray (sprained right ankle) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Suns.

Advice: Murray has been playing a bit more recently, averaging 7.1 minutes per game over the Spurs last five games. Still, he has scored more than two points only once this month. Thus, no significant fantasy impact with news he won't play Saturday. Rotoworld.com Friday, 2:49 pm
  • Jeremy Lin (hamstring) will not play Friday
Jeremy Lin (hamstring) will not play Friday night in Toronto.

Advice: No surprise here, as Lin has been ruled out indifferently. On Thursday, Lin day say he hoped to return within a "couple of weeks." Lin is a notoriously slow healer, so it should be noted that the team has still not given an official timetable. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:05 am

  • Steph Curry has 5 steals, 3 treys in win
Stephen Curry hit 9-of-17 shots and 3-of-9 3-pointers for 24 points, two rebounds, six assists, five steals and a season-high eight turnovers in Thursday's blowout win over the Suns.

Advice: His previous season high in TOs was six, so he was a bit uncharacteristic tonight. He also sat out the fourth quarter in another Warriors' blowout, which is pretty much the only downside to his game right now. He's scored between 22 and 40 points in all six of his January games and is shooting 48 percent this month. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:14 pm
  • Tyreke Evans busts out with 29 points vs. BK
Tyreke Evans turned in his best game since his knee surgery in a 104-95 win over the Nets on Thursday, scoring a season-high 29 points with four rebounds, three assists, four steals, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He played a season-high 28 minutes, made all seven from the line and hit 10-of-15 from the field. After the game, Evans talked about all his work he's put in to recover from knee surgery. "I'm still trying to strengthen my knee up. It shows the hard work I'm putting in," Evans said. The minutes limit should still be there, but Evans' fantasy owners have to love this. HIs 29 points are the most scored by a Pelican not named Anthony Davis. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:12 pm
  • Jrue Holiday scores 21 points in win
Jrue Holiday scored 21 points with four rebounds, four assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: He was in a brutal slump before this one. In his previous seven games, Holiday made just 38.7 percent from the field with averages of 11.6 points, 3.3 boards, 8.7 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.1 treys. It definitely helped to get the Nets today and there were more shots to go around with Anthony Davis (hip) out. This game could get Jrue going again. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:01 pm
  • Reggie Jackson is starting vs. GSW
Reggie Jackson will start against the Warriors on Thursday.

Advice: On Tuesday, he had a dehydration issue for the second time in the last 12 months, so hopefully the Pistons do a better job in that department. He should be ready to go and will likely be asked to score a ton tonight. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:06 pm
  • Monta Ellis scores 12 points off bench
Monta Ellis scored 12 points with two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 27 minutes against the Nuggets on Thursday.

Advice: He's still wearing his mask and it doesn't seem to be affecting his confidence. Ellis saw a lot of run in garbage time today, which is a great sign of his minutes limit going away. Techincally, he doesn't have a limit, but Ellis played just 19.5 minutes per game over his previous four. He's had a bad season, so he's got some work to do to have value in standard leagues. • Jeremy Lin expecting to return in 1-2 weeks?
Jeremy Lin (hamstring) said in a Chinese-language video he is hopeful to return in a couple weeks.

Advice: He said the recovery is progressing faster than last time. Lin has said he's going through some strengthen tests on his hamstring. The Nets obviously won't be rushing him back and there's a chance he is out beyond the two weeks. He's worth a stash, but he doesn't have a specific target date. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:55 am

  • Russell Westbrook drops 18th triple-double
Russell Westbrook turned in his 18th triple-double on the season during a 103-95 win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday, scoring 24 points with 13 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, one block and six turnovers in 37 minutes.

Advice: The Grizzlies actually defended him well in this game with Westbrook only making 6-of-19 from the field. That's not too surprising after they help him assists-less in their last game -- he was also ejected in the second half. This was also the first time he's had a triple-double against the Grizzlies in a regular season game -- the Grizzlies have 10 as a franchise and Westy has three playoff triple-doubles in his career. Westbrook should have a field day against the Wolves on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:02 pm
  • James Harden's 33/12/6 not enough vs. MIN
James Harden racked up 33 points, 12 assists and six rebounds in a losing effort vs. the Wolves on Wednesday, making 10-of-23 field goals and 11-of-13 free throws.

Advice: Harden has been ridiculous lately with five triple-doubles in his last seven games, and tonight was no exception -- in addition to the points, boards and assists, he added two blocks, one steal and a pair of 3-pointers. Incredibly, this was Houston's first loss in the second of back-to-back games all season, dropping them to 9-1 in such situations. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:01 pm
  • Patrick Beverley (wrist) scoreless in 34 mins
Patrick Beverley had four assists, three rebounds, three assists and one block in 34 minutes on Wednesday, but he also failed to score while missing all five of his shot attempts.

Advice: Bev has been dealing with a wrist injury since late December, and he's repeatedly emphasized how much it hurts, but he continues to tough it out. He's a gladiator and we're leaving him off the injury report. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:59 pm
  • Reggie Jackson practices on Wednesday
Reggie Jackson (dehydration) practiced on Wednesday.

Advice: He should be all set for Thursday night against the big game at Golden State on Thursday. Jackson played a whopping 47 minutes against the Blazers on Sunday and played 31 minutes on Tuesday before his dehydration. He looks like he's trending up. It's worth a mention he had a dehydration issue back in February, so someone needs to get him some water and/or electrolytes. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:45 pm
  • Jeremy Lin out again for Thursday night
Jeremy Lin (hamstring) is out again for Thursday night against the Pelicans.

Advice: This will be his eighth game out of the lineup. Lin doesn't have a timetable to return and clearly the Nets won't be in a hurry to bring him back after he aggravated his hamstring strain. With him out, we've seen some Spencer Dinwiddie as the backup point guard and Isaiah Whitehead splitting the minutes as the starter. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 1:54 pm

  • Reggie Jackson treated for dehydration
Reggie Jackson was treated for dehydration following Detroit's 100-94 loss to Sacramento on Tuesday.

Advice: Jackson has dealt with hydration issues in the past, but it's never been something that has forced him to the sidelines, so he should be just fine for Thursday's game in Oakland. After a slow start to the year, Jackson has been rolling over the past seven games, posting top-50 value behind averages of 21.9 points, 6.7 assists, 2.0 triples and 2.4 turnovers per game on 48.0 percent shooting. This is probably his peak, so owners may want to pursue some sell-high opportunities. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:57 am
  • Stephen Curry scores 24 with nice line
Stephen Curry hit just 8-of-21 shots and 4-of-11 3-pointers for 24 points, eight rebounds, nine assists, a steal and a block in Tuesday's 107-95 win over the Heat.

Advice: Despite the poor shooting, Curry is finally hot again, scoring 24, 30, 40 and 35 points in each of his last four games. And over his last five, he's averaging 30.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.9 steals and 4.4 3-pointers on 48 percent shooting. That's more like it, Steph! Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:16 pm
  • George Hill goes for 13 & 7 in win
George Hill hit 5-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for 13 points, three rebounds and seven assists in Tuesday's 100-92 win over the Cavaliers.

Advice: He's been back for three games and is averaging 15.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.0 3-pointers since his return. Now owners just need to get Hill back in the lineup and hope he doesn't go down again. After a very hot start to the season, Hill missed all but two December games with a concussion and a toe injury. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:48 pm
  • James Harden triple-doubles in win
James Harden kept it going on Tuesday with 40 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists and seven 3-pointers in 38 minutes of Tuesday's 121-114 win over the Hornets.

Advice: He hit 11-of-24 shots and 11-of-14 free throws, and only had four turnovers tonight. Harden now has 11 triple-doubles on the season, has triple-doubled in back-to-back games, and has also done so in three of his last five games. Over that stretch, he's averaging a staggering 28.6 points, 10.0 rebounds, 10.6 assists, 1.4 steals, 3.0 3-pointers and is shooting 39 percent. He's also averaging 6.4 turnovers, but as long as the triple-doubles and massive stat lines are coming, owners will just have to live with some poor shooting and a ton of TOs. • Russell Westbrook scores 21 w/ 14 assists
Russell Westbrook scored 24 points on 9-of-18 shooting with 14 assists, nine rebounds, one steal, one triple and three turnovers against the Bulls on Monday.

Advice: Westbrook's 3-point attempts are way up and he attempted a whopping 49 triples in his last four games, hitting them at a 38.7 percent clip. He was just 1-of-7 from deep tonight, but Thunder coach Billy Donovan doesn't seem to mind. "When he gets a couple in a row, I think you have to let him maybe take a couple more that may look highly contested or difficult, because he can make them." Westbrook will look to get some revenge against Memphis on Wednesday after he was ejected in their previous meeting. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:01 pm
  • Tyreke Evans plays season-high 21 minutes
Tyreke Evans played a season-high 21 minutes in Monday's 110-96 win over the Knicks, scoring 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting.

Advice: This was his second game in a row with 20 or more minutes and it's worth noting that coach Alvin Gentry has said that he will keep bumping him up a couple more minutes each week. He added four assists, two rebounds and two triples with three turnovers, and now he gets a couple days off to rest before Thursday's dream matchup with the Nets. His owners will have to be patient for a little while and the restrictions are annoying, but Evans is worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Monday, 6:55 pm
  • Jeremy Lin (hamstring) out Tuesday vs. ATL
Jeremy Lin (hamstring) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Hawks.

Advice: He remains without an official timetable to return, and thus far, we haven't had any reports of him ramping up his activities at practice. It doesn't seem like Lin is close to a return, so he's a cut-candidate in leagues without an IR-spot. Isaiah Whitehead, Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris LeVert will continue to split Lin's minutes, with LeVert offering the most upside out of that group. Rotoworld.com Jan 9, 1:57 pm

  • 76ers to sign Chasson Randle to 10-day deal
The 76ers will sign Chasson Randle to a 10-day contract on Tuesday.

Advice: Randle had an impressive offseason for the Knicks, but didn't make the final roster after suffering an orbital wall fracture. There is a clear path to minutes in Philly and Randle can play a couple different positions, so he's worth keeping an eye on in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 9, 10:00 am
  • Spurs recall Dejounte Murray
The Spurs have recalled Dejounte Murray from the D-League.

Advice: The Spurs are really high on him and coach Gregg Popovich is intrigued by his potential, but he's buried on the depth chart this season. Rotoworld.com Jan 9, 8:39 am
  • Garrett Temple plays 42 minutes as starter
Garrett Temple had 14 points, three assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes as a starter vs. Golden State on Sunday.

Advice: Temple is averaging 32.5 minutes in his past five games, but he's done nothing to warrant fantasy ownership. He should be viewed with skepticism even if he does continue to start alongside Darren Collison (14 points in 30 minutes). Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 9:55 pm
  • Warriors win behind Stephen Curry's 30/6/4
The Warriors bounced back from Friday's tough loss with a road win on Sunday, led by Steph Curry's 30 points, six assists, four rebounds and two steals.

Advice: Kings' opponents have made 37.9 percent of their 3-point attempts this year, third-highest in the league, but Steph was the only Warrior to really take advantage of the matchup tonight. He went 5-of-11 from deep and 11-of-22 overall, and he's now averaging 35.0 points in the Warriors' past three games. He's finding his groove alongside Kevin Durant, and that's a scary sight for the rest of the NBA. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 9:38 pm
