• Passive performance Tuesday
Beal posted 14 points (6-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds and six assists across 42 minutes during Tuesday's 105-93 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Beal was relatively quiet in the loss, much like his teammates. Despite keeping it close, the Suns were simply overwhelmed by the Timberwolves, both inside and outside the paint. Now trailing 2-0 in the series, Phoenix will look to get back on track Friday when they host Game 3. Rotowire.com 4 minutes ago
  • Double-doubles in loss
Nurkic finished with 10 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 14 rebounds and four assists over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 105-93 loss to Minnesota in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Nurkic grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds to go with 10 points, tallying his first double-double of the series. While he was more involved, the Suns still came up short, falling behind 2-0 in the series. Game 3 will be in Phoenix on Friday, where Nurkic will look to be even more of a force on the interior against the size of the Timberwolves. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago
  • Myles Turner tallies 22 points, three blocks
Myles Turner played 34 minutes in Tuesday’s win over the Bucks, amassing 22 points (9-of-15 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), seven rebounds, six assists, three blocks, and three 3-pointers.

Advice: After shooting 5-of-17 from the field in Sunday’s Game 1 defeat, Turner was considerably better in Game 2. He was efficient as a scorer, shooting 60% from the field and 50% from three while also accounting for six assists (and no turnovers) and three blocked shots. If Turner can consistently reach this level of play, the Pacers can win this series, especially if Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) remains sidelined. Game 3 is on Friday in Indianapolis. • Pascal Siakam makes franchise history in Gm 2 win
Pascal Siakam shot 16-of-23 from the field and 2-of-3 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 125-108 win over the Bucks, scoring 37 points with 11 rebounds, six assists, and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Advice: The Pacers evened their series at one win apiece, and Siakam led the way. Spicy P made some history, becoming the first Pacer to record a 30-point double-double in two consecutive games. Also, Siakam is tied with Paul George for the most 30-point double-doubles in a single postseason in franchise history. The Siakam matchup may be where the Bucks miss Giannis Antetokounmpo the most, as Siakam did whatever he wanted in the first two games. The series shifts to Indianapolis for Game 3 on Friday. • Checks back into game
Gafford (back) returned to Tuesday's Game 2 against the Clippers with 7:54 remaining in the second quarter.

Advice: Despite being deemed questionable to return due to a lower back injury, Gafford ultimately missed about a quarter of action Tuesday. The 24-year-old big man will look to make a bigger impact than he did in Game 1 when he tallied just three points and zero rebounds. Rotowire.com 47 minutes ago
  • Devin Booker leads Phoenix with 18 points Tuesday
Devin Booker logged 42 minutes in Tuesday’s 105-93 loss to the Timberwolves, accumulating 20 points (6-of-13 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Booker fouled out of Game 2, but the outcome was no longer in doubt at that point. He did lead the Suns in scoring, but, as was the case in the series opener on Saturday, efficiency was a problem. Booker committing six turnovers was more concerning than the field-goal percentage, with the Suns recording 19 as a team. Bradley Beal wasn’t much better, as he was responsible for four to go along with 14 points (6-of-17 FGs), four rebounds, six assists, and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes. Phoenix will need more from both guards to win Game 3 on Friday. Rotoworld 52 minutes ago
  • Jusuf Nurkic grabs game-high 14 rebounds Tuesday
Jusuf Nurkic tallied 10 points (5-of-11 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), 14 rebounds, and four assists in 31 minutes in Tuesday’s 105-93 loss to the Timberwolves.

Advice: Phoenix is headed home in a 0-2 hole, and they’ve had their hands full with Rudy Gobert. Nurkic has done what he can in the post, recording a double-double in Game 2 after offering limited production in the series opener on Saturday. Still, Minnesota’s size has given the Suns trouble. Kevin Durant scored 18 points but was not as efficient as in Game 1, shooting 6-of-15 from the field. He added six rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in 41 minutes, but KD missed both of his 3-point attempts. Durant, Nurkic, and the Suns will attempt to shift the series’ momentum on Friday night in Phoenix. Rotoworld 57 minutes ago
  • Grayson Allen (ankle) does not return after injury
Grayson Allen (right ankle sprain) played 17 minutes in Tuesday’s 105-93 loss to the Timberwolves, recording a line of three points (1-of-2 FGs), three rebounds, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 17 minutes.

Advice: Having sprained his right ankle in Game 1 on Saturday, Allen was initially questionable for Tuesday’s game. Unfortunately, he rolled the ankle early in the third quarter while attempting to block a shot. While the Suns announced that Allen was questionable to return, he never did. The concern now is potential swelling as the team flies to Phoenix for Game 3 on Friday, and Allen may not be a lock to play. Eric Gordon’s minutes increased with Allen sidelined, and he finished with 15 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 23 minutes. Rotoworld Today, 7:48 pm
  • Avoids serious injury
Frank Vogel said Tuesday that X-rays came back negative on Allen's right ankle, and he should be considered day-to-day, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Allen has dealt with a right ankle injury through the first two games of the series against Minnesota and should be considered questionable for Game 3 on Friday. If Allen is unable to suit, Eric Gordon and Royce O'Neale will likely receive increased playing time. Rotowire.com Today, 7:45 pm
