  • Good afternoon gentleman. The following information has been provided to help everyone understand that we want engagement from everyone from the very first game to the very last. TO KEEP EVERYONE PLAYING COMPETITIVELY RIGHT TO THE END, WE HAVE USED THIS FORMULA FOR THIS YEAR'S DRAFT AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE IT IN THE FUTURE. (Give or Take Tweaks if needed)

    In analyzing last season to determine the format for this year's draft...…..
    1. The lottery order of the four teams with the worst record was determined by their cumulative point total from their last five games. Coach C. (We here) had 6288.50 points in his last five games, Jay's Dandy Team had 6612.50, ManiGoat had 5255.00, and Big Boss had 2511. Clearly Big Boss was disengaged and may have aided another team in qualifying for the playoffs. So the most engaged was Coach C (We Here) all the way until his very last game coming in with the highest points and has been rewarded the 1st overall selection. Jay receives the second overall pick, ManiGoat the third, and Matty Ice, who replaced Big Boss, the fourth.
    2. Clearly, the 8 GMs in the playoffs determined the winner of the "cash" prize. Considering the draft position of the playoff clubs for this season, the following determination was made: The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place positions were determined after...... Winners of 4th & 5th place have the option of placing themselves in front or behind the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place GMs. Brandon and Kraken have selected 11th and 12th place in the draft after finishing 4th and 5th, respectively. By default, 6th and 7th Place Consolation Bracket Winners, as well as 8th Place, were placed "before" 1st/2nd/3rd Place in the draft sequence.

    Undoubtedly, someone will find something to be upset about with this. Can't please everyone. I believe this provides balance and parity. If you ended up 1st/2nd/3rd place you won cash. The choice to reward those GMs also with the last bottom draft selections is over. Those GMs will fall in their respective draft order after the process as I mentioned above is complete. The 4 sorry teams get the opportunity to re-build by being in the beginning of the draft but they earn their spot by playing all the way until the end of regular season so tanking becomes obsolete. 4th and 5th place GMs after their consolation bracket games get rewarded with where they want to be in the draft between 5th and 12th. 6th, 7th & 8th place GMs after their consolation bracket games are placed on the higher end of the draft above 1st/2nd/3rd place.
