    • Naz Reid tallies 15 points, full line in Game 1
      Naz Reid shot 5-of-9 from the field and 2-of-4 from the foul line in Wednesday’s loss to the Mavericks, finishing with 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 24 minutes.

      Advice: As has been the case throughout this season, Reid gave the Timberwolves solid production off the bench in Wednesday’s Game 1. Unfortunately for the Timberwolves, their bench outscoring the Mavericks reserves by a 28-14 margin didn’t mean much. Kyle Anderson added 11 points, two rebounds, two assists, and one 3-pointer in 17 minutes, shooting 5-of-8 from the field. While Reid and Rudy Gobert (12/7/1/1/2 in 38 minutes) recorded full stat lines, the struggles of Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards were too much to overcome.     • Anthony Edwards struggles in Game 1, scores 19 PTS
      Anthony Edwards played 41 minutes in Wednesday’s 108-105 loss to the Mavericks, accounting for 19 points (6-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 11 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and five 3-pointers.

      Advice: On Wednesday, Edwards made his first appearance in the Western Conference Finals, and he was not his usual self offensively. He settled too often in Game 1, with 12 of his 16 shot attempts coming from beyond the arc. By comparison, only 36% of Edwards’ shot attempts in Minnesota’s second-round series against Denver were 3-pointers. The good news for DFS players is that he offered solid production in the rebound and assist categories while making five 3-pointers. However, if Minnesota is to win this series, they need Ant-Man to do more work off the dribble than he did on Wednesday. Game 2 is on Friday night. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:39 pm

      Siakam contributed 24 points (12-23 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 12 rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 42 minutes during Tuesday's 133-128 overtime loss to Boston in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

      Advice: This was one of the best games of the postseason for Siakam, and he's now scored at least 20 points in four straight outings. He's had quite an impact in these playoffs, posting averages of 21.3 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:27 am

      Pascal Siakam shot 12-of-23 from the field in Tuesday’s 133-128 overtime loss to Boston, scoring 24 points with 12 rebounds, seven assists, and one steal in 42 minutes.

      Advice: In the final games of the Pacers’ second-round series win over New York, Siakam did most of his damage in the mid-range and restricted areas, which was also the case on Tuesday. He missed both 3-point attempts and did not attempt a free throw. In addition to the turnovers, of which Indiana had 21, the charity stripe is where the Pacers lost Game 1, as Boston outscored them by a 24-9 margin. Siakam isn’t elite at getting to the line, as he averaged 4.2 attempts per game with the Pacers during the regular season (and 4.0 per game against New York). But he and the Pacers will have to do a better job of getting those opportunities to score when the clock is stopped, as Boston leads all playoff teams in free throws made differential (+5.8).       Reid closed with 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 22 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 win over the Nuggets in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Reid played additional minutes down the stretch due to Karl-Anthony Towns' foul trouble. As usual, Reid delivered on the offensive end and tallied a few key blocks. He should play a pivotal role off the bench for Minnesota against the high-flying Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:50 am
       
    • Anthony Edwards limited to 16 points in Game 7 win
      Anthony Edwards shot 6-of-24 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Sunday’s 98-90 win over Denver, finishing with 16 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers in 44 minutes.

      Advice: On Sunday, Edwards got off to a brutal start, shooting 1-of-7 from the field in the first half. He was better in the third quarter, but give Ant-Man credit for not letting his offensive struggles impact his defense. He defended Jamal Murray well in the second half, and multiple members of Minnesota’s “supporting cast” stepped up offensively. Backcourt partner Mike Conley added 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes.       Pascal Siakam finished Sunday’s Game 7 win over the Knicks with 20 points (8-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

      Advice: Siakam was one of the few players on the Pacers roster with prior experience in a Game 7, and his leadership helped set the stage for Sunday’s 130-109 victory. The brief return of OG Anunoby did not impact Spicy P, as the Knicks forward could barely move due to his strained hamstring. Siakam was once again efficient offensively, hitting a few 3-pointers while doing most of his damage in the mid-range. Next up for the Pacers are the Celtics, with Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals scheduled for Tuesday night. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:22 pm
       
    • Jalen Williams posts 22/9/8/2/1 line on Saturday
      Jalen Williams accumulated 22 points (8-of-16 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Mavericks.

      Advice: Oklahoma City’s season ended on Saturday, as they were on the wrong end of a one-point loss in Game 6. Williams had a productive night, shooting 50% from the field and scoring 22 points with a full stat line. However, his overall efficiency as a scorer took a hit compared to how he played in Oklahoma City’s first-round sweep of New Orleans. JDub shot 42.9% from the field against Dallas after making nearly 53% of his attempts against the Pelicans. Overall, this season was very good for Williams, who provided top 50 per-game value in 8- and 9-cat formats. After beginning this season with a Yahoo ADP of 65.7, JDub should be a 4th-round player at worst in drafts this fall. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:34 pm

      Pascal Siakam shot 11-of-21 from the field and 3-of-4 from the foul line in Friday’s win over the Knicks, scoring 25 points with seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 31 minutes.

      Advice: After getting blown out in Game 5, the Pacers returned the favor in Game 6 to keep their season alive. And Siakam was a significant part of that. Spicy P shot 11-of-19 from two, doing a lot of his damage in the mid-range. He led six Pacers in double figures with 25 points, and all five starters grabbed at least six rebounds. Siakam and the Pacers will need a similar effort in Game 7 on Sunday, as they are 1-5 on the road this postseason. Rotoworld Friday, 8:07 pm
