LOTTERY NEXT YEAR
New rule starting next year. I have been trying for years to get the league so it is even for everyone so long as you play your team. So to further this effort next year we will have a Lottery Draft. What is the Lottery Draft? We now have 18 teams in the league and 8 will make the playoffs and 10 will not make the playoffs. The 10 teams that do not make the playoffs will get an extra pick as a Keeper. This pick will not cost any keepers funds. The pick will occur after keepers and trades are set. All the free agents that are left each team will get a pick. The 10 teams not in the playoffs will be ranked 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16, 17, 18 from the previous year. Each teams number will be put in a box and drawn out of the box at random to determine the order of the Lottery pick. Team 9 well be entered 1 time, Team 10 2 times, Team 11 3 times and so on. Team 18 will be entered 10 times. This gives the last place team a better chance of getting first pick. This will be done several weeks before the draft.

3. Predraft trade up to 4
4. Every manager will have to draft at least 5 players
5. In the playoffs each team will have only 9 ADD/DROPS for the entire playoffs. (read rules)
6. Draft funds of $75
7. Keeper funds $150
8. Each team will receive up to ½ of their unused draft funds from last year not to exceed $25
9. Scoring Categories FG%, FTM, FT%, 3PTM, PTS, OREB, DREB, ST, BLK, A/T, DD
10. Directly following the championship all teams can make 1 pre-draft trade for next season, must be posted. Must be clear as to what the trade is and must be accepted by both managers through chat that everyone can see.

How the league works.
This is a Keeper league auction drafted online. The draft order will be random since it is a auction draft. There is a total of 9 players on each team. You also have limited ADD/DROPS of 6 per week and a total of 70 for the REGULAR SEASON. If you make the playoffs each team will be given a total of 9 ADD/DROPS for the playoffs. If you do not have 9 ADD/DROPS left during the regular season you will only receive that number of ADD/DROPS you have left during the regular season for the playoffs.
Keepers
If you have keepers to pick you can keep up to 4 players. There is a certain dollar value placed on each player you keep. The cost of the keepers are determined by Yahoo. Keepers must be chosen by the designated date after which the keeper deadline will have ended and no more changes can be made everything will be locked. Please review the league settings for all rules and scoring.
Please choose Keepers by the specified date of Thursday, August 31st, 2023 EST. You can keep up to 4 players. You have $150 of funds to select your keepers. Whatever money is left over you will get ½ of that added to your draft funds of $75. If you go over your keeper funds the amount of overage will be deducted from your draft funds $75. If you need help please ask. I will do my best to help you. Each team will also receive up to ½ of their unused draft funds from last year not to exceed $25

The Draft
The draft is a live auction draft set up for Fri, Sep 15, 9:45 pm EDT. Each manager has $75 to draft with. If there are any keeper funds left remember ½ of the remaining keeper funds will be added to your draft funds. Anything over the $150 keeper funds will be subtracted from your draft funds.
