  • Leader from deep in Game 3 loss
    Towns posted 14 points (4-7 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and three assists over 33 minutes in Friday's 117-90 loss to the Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Towns didn't get much going offensively outside of connecting on a team-high mark from three, ending the contest as one of four players with a double-digit point total to go along with a handful of rebounds in a losing effort. Towns failed to reach the 15-point mark for just the second time this postseason, and he had scored at least 20 points in each of the first two games against Denver. Towns may have to come out in Game 4 looking for more opportunities offensively and displaying more aggressiveness if Minnesota wants to take a commanding 3-1 series advantage.   • Pascal Siakam scores 26 points in Game 3 win
    Pascal Siakam amassed 26 points (9-of-14 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), seven rebounds, one assist, one block, and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes in Friday’s 111-106 win over the Knicks.

    Advice: Having struggled from the foul line during these playoffs, Siakam needed a night like Friday in the worst way. He made seven of his nine attempts in Game 3 while also shooting 64.3% from the field. Siakam hasn’t looked comfortable at the foul line, but that’s an area where he has the potential to be productive with the Knicks playing without OG Anunoby (hamstring). With OG unlikely to play in Game 4 on Sunday, that could be another game in which Spicy P plays to the level the Pacers expected when they acquired him from Toronto earlier this season.     Advice: Williams was the Thunder's second-best scoring option behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but his solid two-way contributions were not enough to lift Oklahoma City to a 2-0 series lead. Williams has been outstanding in the playoffs and has confirmed the improvements he evidenced during the regular season.     Advice: Giddey's minutes continue to decrease with each passing game, and it wouldn't be surprising if he moves to a bench role ahead of Game 3 given how much he's struggled on both ends of the court. He delivered good numbers against the Pelicans, but in the two outings against Dallas, he's averaging 5.0 points while shooting 40 percent from the floor across 14 minutes.
