LEAGUE RULES

- Have fun
- No new rules or rule changes will be made after the season has begun!
- In the event where NBA and Yahoo cancels the league, if the season has not surpassed 70%, it will be declared a void. 70% is based on the Raptor's schedule


LEAGUE FEES and PAYOUT

- $100 entry fee per manager (plus collecting last years loser fee)
Reverting back to cash payout this season ** NEW CHANGE **
- Payout totals will be determined after draft and be posted in message board here
- Top 5 gets paid based on entry fee + last years loser fee
- In the event of a live draft, snacks and beverages may be deducted off the loser fee.
- In the event of tied payout positions, shared positions will be split amongst tied teams
- Last place from last year pays extra $30, second last pays extra $20
- In the event of tied position between bottom teams, all shared positions will have to pay (example two tied 12th, one tied 13th - all 3 will pay)
- 14 teams max


LEAGUE SETTINGS and ROSTER FORMAT

- Rotisserie scoring
- Standard 9-cat scoring
- Standard Yahoo basketball roster with 1 IL and 1 IL+ slots
- 82 games per position
- Waiver positions will be set based on descending sequence of first round draft picks (last pick = first waiver)
- It is responsibility of all managers to check league site for all rules



DRAFT FORMAT AND RULES

- Online draft through zoom/google etc.
- Snake draft with 3rd Round Reversal
- 3RR = last over pick will have first pick of round 3, first overall will be last. Snake draft will continue accordingly)
- Draft order pre-determined approximately 30 minutes before draft. Positions determined from last to first overall through a draw (wheel) or pulling names from bag.
- 90 seconds per pick during first 4 rounds, 60 seconds per pick afterwards
- In draft trading permitted, must be equal number of picks exchanged (everyone must have same number of players)
- Drafted players will be updated as draft goes
- No trading of waiver picks unless you are trading all your picks with another manager

LEAGUE TRADES

- No trade deadline
- Veto are done through Yahoo
- 7 votes to veto


LEAGUE ADD/DROPS

Unless deemed by all managers that the dropped player (example top 30) will significantly impact the standings, all wrongfully dropped players will not be reverted by commissioner


LEAGUE SETTING AMMENDMENTS
- every odd year of draft, managers will have an opportunity to propose changes to the league
- proposed changes must not require additional work for the commissioner
- changes must be specific as the vote will be between the existing setting and the proposed change
- proposed changes must be seconded by another manager and commissioner must pass proposal to voting
- during league voting, proposed change must attain 7 approvals to the change to take effect in the upcoming season
- should there be a change that doesn't fit well with the league, commission has the ability to trigger a vote the following year to reverse the change
