  • Mike Conley's shooting woes return in loss
Mike Conley missed 15 of his 23 field goal attempts in Monday's 91-90 loss at Sacramento, although he still posted 22 points, nine assists and three rebounds.

Advice: Overall it was a good stat line for those in head-to-head fantasy formats, but he continues to hurt rotisserie owners in the field goal percentage category at a critical juncture of the fantasy season. Conley is shooting 42.1 percent (43-of-102) from the floor over the past six games. just He'll look for better results in Wednesday's home game against the Pacers, a team allowing 105.2 points per game. • Shelvin Mack (ankle) returns to action
Shelvin Mack (ankle) returned to action on Monday vs. the Pelicans and finished with zero points and one rebound in three minutes.

Advice: He hasn't played in six weeks, but got a chance tonight with Alec Burks (personal) away from the team. Mack can be left on the wire in most leagues as he clearly isn't in Utah's plans going forward. Rotoworld.com 46 minutes ago
  • Rodney Hood scores 20 points in win
Rodney Hood snapped out of his funk with 20 points on 7-of-16 shooting vs. the Pelicans on Monday.

Advice: Hood scored a combined 23 points in his previous three games, but stepped up with Gordon Hayward (quad) and Alec Burks (personal) out -- Hood gets an 8.2 usage rate bump with Hayward off the court. He added six rebounds with three assists and four triples, but he's had a lot of trouble staying healthy this season and his FG percentage has been all over the place. If Hayward sits on Wednesday, Hood could be poised for another solid night. Rotoworld.com 48 minutes ago
  • Buddy Hield scored 14 points in Monday's win
Buddy Hield ended with 14 points, four rebounds, two 3-pointers and just one turnover in 34 minutes Monday against the Grizzlies.

Advice: The rookie has posted double-digit point totals in six straight, and 13 of his 14 outings in the month of March. He was the cornerstone of the return in the deal with New Orleans involving DeMarcus Cousins. The rookie has been money from the perimeter, hitting atl east one 3-pointer in each of his 17 games with the Kings, and 23 in a row dating back to Feb. 4 when he was with the Pelicans. Rotoworld.com 48 minutes ago
  • Joe Johnson scores 14 w/ six assists
Joe Johnson racked up 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting with seven rebounds, six assists and two triples in 31 minutes vs. the Pelicans on Monday.

Advice: Gordon Hayward (quad) sat this one out, so there's not much to see here. Unless Hayward misses more time, Johnson is just a low-end option in deeper leagues. Joe Ingles, who scored 19 points with five triples, is the better add if Hayward sits on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com 55 minutes ago
  • Garrett Temple doesn't do much with time
Garrett Temple played 34 minutes in Monday's 91-90 win against the Grizzlies, but he finished with just six points, four rebounds, three assists, a steal and a blocked shot.

Advice: Temple was leaned upon heavily for his veteran presence in a game head coach Dave Joerger wanted badly against his former team, but Temple misfired on eight of his 10 field goal attempts. When Arron Afflalo (personal) or Tyreke Evans (rest) return it will mean a lesser role - and fantasy appeal - for Temple. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:20 pm
  • Darren Collison sharp from the floor
Collison scored a team-high 23 points with seven assists and four rebounds in Monday's 91-90 win against the Grizzlies.

Advice: Collison helped give head coach Dave Joerger a much-wanted victory against his former team. The veteran coach has leaned upon Collison heavily down the stretch, as he has been a constant in the ever-changing starting lineup since the team dealt DeMarcus Cousins to New Orleans. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:17 pm
  • Joe Ingles scores 19 points, hits five treys
Joe Ingles started in place of Gordon Hayward (quad) in Monday's 108-100 win over the Pelicans and scored 19 points in 35 minutes.

Advice: The Jazz were running a lot of offense through him down the stretch and he delivered, scoring 10 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter -- he even hit a step-back jumper over Anthony Davis in the final two minutes. He finished 7-of-13 from the field and hit all five of his 3-pointers, adding four rebounds, four assists and one steal. He won't be this good, but give him a look if we learn that Hayward will miss more time. Ingles averaged 9.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.0 triples in 20 previous starts this season. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:12 pm
  • J.J. Barea hands out eight assists
J.J. Barea scored 10 points and dished out eight assists in Monday's loss to the Thunder.

Advice: Seth Curry was out with a minor shoulder injury, so Barea logged 29 minutes and finished 3-of-9 from the field with one rebound, one steal and two triples. It isn't clear if Curry will miss more time, but if he does, Barea will have some streaming appeal for owners in need of assists since the Mavs have three more games this week. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:18 pm
  • Yogi Ferrell scores 13 points in start
Yogi Ferrell moved into the starting lineup in place of Seth Curry (shoulder) on Monday vs. the Thunder and scored 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting.

Advice: This was one of his best games in a while, as he racked up five assists with four rebounds, three steals, three triples and three turnovers in 34 minutes. Curry's injury is "minor," but if he misses more time, feel free to give Ferrell a look if you need a low-end point guard. He posted averages of 11.6 points, 4.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.6 triples on 40.3 percent shooting in 21 previous starts. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:09 pm
  • Kawhi Leonard posts 25-6-6 in rout of Cavs
Kawhi Leonard finished with 25 points, six rebounds, six assists, three steals and a blocked shot in 30 minutes on Monday against the Cavaliers.

Advice: About the only thing fantasy owners can complain about is the fact Leonard missed all seven of his 3-pointer attempts. He could have blown through the lane for an easy deuce most of the evening, but elected to go outside rather frequently. He still was 11-of-21 overall from the floor, so fantasy owners cannot complain too loudly. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:05 pm
  • Danny Green records four blocked shots
Danny Green misfired on six of his seven field goal attempts in Monday's win against the Cavaliers, but he ended up with four blocked shots and two steals.

Advice: Two of Green's swats came at the expense of none other than LeBron James, as that is the kind of night it was for the Cavaliers. Green at least dropped one in the bucket from behind the arc, his specialty, although he has struggled from the perimeter in March. Green has made just five of his past 23 triple attempts over the past seven games, so he isn't really helping any fantasy owners at the moment. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:00 pm
  • Wesley Matthews scores 15 points
Wesley Matthews scored 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting vs. the Thunder on Monday.

Advice: Dallas coach Rick Carlisle insists that Matthews is healthy, but he's in a brutal slump right now and was shooting 28.6 percent in March prior to Monday. Matthews added four rebounds, four assists, two triples and one steal in 37 minutes, but had to watch Russell Westbrook bury a game-winning shot in his face -- Devin Booker also hit a game-winner over Matthews this season. The Mavs are now 4.0 games behind the No. 8 seed in the West, so maybe the Mavs will start reducing Matthews' workload. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:53 pm
  • Kyrie Irving held to eight points in rout
Kyrie Irving managed just eight points on 4-of-13 shooting in Monday's 103-74 blowout loss in San Antonio.

Advice: Remember the Alamo? Remember when the Cavaliers were in first place in the Eastern Conference? That was earlier in the day. Kyrie, LeBron and the wine and gold slipped to a half-game back of the idle Boston Celtics for the top spot in the East with this embarrassing, costly loss. The Cavs are not a well-oiled machine right now and they have precious few days to get it together before the games really start to be meaningful. The eight points for Irving matched his worst since a 3-of-17 shooting performance Nov. 5, 2016 at Philadelphia. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:36 pm
  • Westbrook triple-doubles, hits game-winner
Russell Westbrook hit the game-winning shot in Monday's 92-91 win over the Mavericks and triple-doubled with 37 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists.

Advice: He's been incredible all season, but he took it to another level tonight -- the Thunder closed with a 14-0 run and Westbrook had 12 of those points. He shot 15-of-30 from the field and 5-of-5 from the line with two steals and two triples, recording his 37th triple-double of the season. With nine games remaining, Westbrook is on pace to break Oscar Robertson's single-season record for triple-doubles (41). Mark Cuban is going to need some time to cool off after this performance. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:14 pm
  • Derrick Rose drops 27 in Monday's win
Derrick Rose finished with 27 points, six assists, four rebounds and a steal with zero turnovers over 33 minutes in Monday's 109-95 win against the Pistons.

Advice: Rose has looked good in two outings since resting his ailing foot, averaging 25.5 points with 5.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds while hitting 22 of his 39 field goal attempts. The point guard is always a possibility to rest down the stretch, especially with the Knicks all but eliminated from the race for a playoff spot. Tread lightly. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:51 pm
  • Garrett Temple starting Monday vs. Memphis
Garrett Temple is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Grizzlies.

Advice: Temple should do some heavy lifting with Arron Afflalo (personal) and Tyreke Evans (rest) in street clothes. While his role might be fairly significant for this game, he isn't someone to rely upon down the stretch. The Kings are likely to lean heavily upon their youth to get a jump on the 2017-18 season. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:35 pm
  • Ish Smith posts 15-6-5 in starting role
Ish Smith finished with 15 points, six rebounds and five assists over 35 minutes in Monday's 109-95 loss against the Knicks.

Advice: Smith was in the starting five for the third consecutive game, and he is expected to get the nod again Tuesday with Reggie Jackson (knee) out for the second end of the back-to-back. Head coach Stan Van Gundy said he wasn't sure if Jackson would be shut down for the season due to his knee pain. Smith's fantasy owners certainly hope so, as Smith would likely finish out as the starter. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:24 pm
  • Shelvin Mack (ankle) is available
Shelvin Mack (ankle) is available on Monday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: He's been sidelined for nearly six weeks and isn't a lock to see the court tonight even with Alec Burks (personal) and Gordon Hayward (quad) out. Leave Mack on the wire. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:33 pm
  • Alec Burks out Monday due to personal reasons
Alec Burks is not with the team for Monday's game against the Pelicans due to personal reasons.

Advice: Burks just doesn't play enough minutes to make much of a difference for most fantasy owners, especially at this juncture of the season. Dante Exum and Joe Ingles will likely see a couple of extra minutes as a result of Burks being inactive. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:10 pm
  • Joe Ingles starting for Gordon Hayward (quad)
Joe Ingles will start in place of Gordon Hayward (quad) on Monday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: The Jazz will start George Hill, Rodney Hood, Ingles, Boris Diaw and Rudy Gobert. Ingles is worth a look if you need some stream some assists, steals and triples, as he's averaging 9.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.7 steals and 2.0 triples in 20 starts this season. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:00 pm
  • Report: Gordon Hayward (quad) out Monday
According to Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune, Gordon Hayward (bruised left quad) will not play on Monday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: His owners probably saw this coming because Hayward wasn't able to go through the morning shootaround. The Jazz do have three more games this week, so hopefully he'll be able to give it a go on Wednesday vs. the Kings. Joe Ingles will likely start in Hayward's place and is a decent streaming option if you need assists, steals and triples. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:48 pm
  • Yogi Ferrell starting for Curry (shoulder)
Yogi Ferrell is moving back into the starting lineup on Monday vs. the Thunder with Seth Curry (shoulder) out.

Advice: Curry's injury is "minor," so Ferrell isn't a must-add player by any means. In 21 starts this season, Ferrell has posted averages of 11.6 points, 4.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.6 triples, but he's also shooting 40.3 percent from the field. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:23 pm
  • Arron Afflalo (personal) ruled out Monday
Arron Afflalo (personal) will not play on Monday vs. the Grizzlies.

Advice: He was rested on Sunday vs. the Clippers and isn't even with the team today. With Tyreke Evans resting, Buddy Hield looks like a strong play in all formats. Rotoworld.com Today, 4:52 pm
  • Iman Shumpert (sore right knee) out Monday
Iman Shumpert (sore right knee) will not play on Monday vs. the Spurs.

Advice: This will be his second straight game on the shelf, but he's day-to-day unlike Kyle Korver (foot) -- Korver is out for the week. Look for J.R. Smith to log heavy minutes on the wings tonight, but he's a boom-or-bust option because of his volatile FG percentage. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:36 pm
  • Danny Green (rest) will play Monday vs. CLE
Danny Green (rest) will return to the court for Monday's matchup with the Cavs.

Advice: Green sat out Saturday's game as a precaution, but he'll get back out there tonight, which will likely shift Jonathon Simmons back to the second unit. Gregg Popovich confirmed that he won't be resting any of his main guys for Monday's game, so if you own LaMarcus Aldridge, Kawhi Leonard or Pau Gasol, feel free to get those guys active. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:24 pm
  • Rodney Stuckey (knee) questionable Tuesday
Rodney Stuckey (knee) is officially being listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: Stuckey left Sunday's game with a sore knee, but we should have a better idea on his status for Tuesday night once the results of his MRI are made public. If Stuckey can't give it a go on Tuesday, Monta Ellis and Aaron Brooks would have the opportunity for some extra minutes. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:34 pm
  • Carlisle says Wesley Matthews is feeling fine
Rick Carlisle said that Wesley Matthews is "feeling fine" healthwise, and he's confident Matthews will soon be able to bust out of his shooting slump.

Advice: Through the month of March, Matthews has only managed to connect on 28.6 percent of his shot attempts, and in general, efficiency has been a major issue for him this season. He's just not the same player he was prior to the Achilles tear, and while it's unlikely he'll be this bad for the rest of the season, he's simply not doing enough right now to warrant a standard league roster spot. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:24 pm
  • Ish Smith will remain a starter on Monday
Ish Smith will remain in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Knicks.

Advice: This will be Smith's third start in a row, although it's worth pointing out that he hasn't exceeded 28-minute mark in any of those outings. The point guard situation in Detroit has entered value-killing timeshare territory with Reggie Jackson and Smith, so this is something that should be avoided in standard leagues. Joining Smith in the starting five will be Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Marcus Morris, Tobias Harris and Andre Drummond. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:52 am
  • Goran Dragic playing through a foot injury
Goran Dragic is playing through a "nagging foot injury."

Advice: The injury is so painful that the Heat training staff has been cutting a hole in the side of his sneaker to alleviate the pressure while he’s playing. There aren't any specifics, but this likely explains why Dragic has slowed down with averages of 15.6 points, 5.2 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.2 triples on 35.7 percent shooting over his last five games. The good news for fantasy owners is that DNPs will be unlikely down the stretch for Dragic with the Heat clinging onto the No. 8 seed. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:38 am
  • James Harden (wrist) practices Monday
James Harden (wrist) is practicing on Monday and will play vs. the Warriors on Tuesday.

Advice: He already said that he would play on Tuesday vs. the Warriors after aggravating his wrist on Sunday night, but it doesn't hurt to get more confirmation. Harden's owners should be in great shape with four games on the schedule this week. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:22 am
  • Gordon Hayward sits out morning shootaround
Gordon Hayward (bruised left quad) did not participate in Monday's morning shootaround.

Advice: To be clear, he remains questionable for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans. This means he will likely test out his quad in pre-game warmups. X-rays were negative and it shouldn't be a long-term issue, and Hayward does have a lot of incentive to play since the Jazz currently hold a 1.0 game lead over the Clippers for the No. 4 seed. If he can't go, Joe Ingles will be a solid streaming option in his absence. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:03 am
  • Rodney Stuckey's status is unclear
Rodney Stuckey's (knee) status for Tuesday's game vs. the Wolves is up in the air.

Advice: He left Sunday's game against the 76ers due to a sore left knee and wasn't able to return. "We haven’t taken X-rays yet," McMillan said on Sunday night. "He was walking a little better coming off the floor. I’m sure [the training staff] will give me an update tomorrow." Stuckey will undergo an MRI on Monday afternoon, and if he misses time, both Monta Ellis and C.J. Miles could see a bump in minutes. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:56 am
  • Shumpert (sore right knee) is questionable
Iman Shumpert (sore right knee) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Spurs.

Advice: This isn't the same knee that Shumpert has had multiple surgeries on, and with Kyle Korver (foot) on the shelf, hopefully Shumpert will try to give it a go. If not, look for J.R. Smith to take on a heavy workload vs. the Spurs. Shumpert belongs on the waiver wire anyways. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:18 am
  • James Harden says he will play vs. Warriors
James Harden said he will play on Tuesday vs. the Warriors despite aggravating his left wrist on Sunday vs. the Thunder.

Advice: He left Sunday's game vs. the Thunder in the final minute after a hard a fall and didn't return, but he said that he's "good." Coach Mike D'Antoni hinted that Harden may get a maintenance day at some point, but not if Harden has anything to say about it. "It's something he's probably going to have to put up with the rest of the year," D'Antoni said. "It's a tendon. He jammed it. Hopefully, he's good. If he needs to rest, he'll rest and make sure he gets well, but knowing him, he wants to play." With Harden hoping to lock up the MVP Award, his fantasy owners shouldn't be too concerned. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:52 am
  • Corey Brewer starts for Brandon Ingram (knee)
Corey Brewer started Sunday's game in place of Brandon Ingram (right knee), finishing with three points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal, one 3-pointer and two blocks in 19 minutes.

Advice: Brewer might have played more if the game were close, but the veteran got a long rest with the score out of hand in the second half. He's not a fantasy option, even if Ingram misses more games. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:38 pm
  • Mike Conley snaps shooting slump on Sunday
Mike Conley broke out of a four-game shooting slump on Sunday with 29 points on 9-of-15 FGs and 7-of-7 FTs, including a 4-of-6 mark from downtown.

Advice: Conley added six assists but he had just one rebound and one steal with six turnovers in 37 minutes, as Memphis fell to the Warriors in Oracle Arena. The Grizzlies are in no real danger of missing the playoffs, sitting 4.5 games above the No. 8 seed Nuggets, but they've now lost three straight games and are staring at a first-round matchup with the Spurs. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:44 pm
  • Corey Brewer starting for Brandon Ingram
Corey Brewer will start Sunday's game in place of Brandon Ingram (patellar tendinitis).

Advice: David Nwaba should also get a significant boost with Ingram on the sidelines, and we might even see Nick Young or Metta World Peace get a few minutes. This is a situation to avoid in the vast majority of fantasy scenarios. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 6:05 pm
  • Shelvin Mack (ankle) iffy to return on Monday
Shelvin Mack (ankle) is questionable to play vs. the Pelicans on Monday.

Advice: Mack hasn't played in over a month and we're considering him out indefinitely until we've seen him on the court. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:49 pm
  • Gordon Hayward (quad) questionable for Monday
Gordon Hayward (bruised left quad) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: X-rays were negative and coach Quin Snyder said that Hayward was "fine" after the injury occurred on Saturday, but Hayward did ask to check out of the game. Utah holds a slim one-game lead over the Clippers for the No. 4 seed, so Hayward will do everything he can to stay on the court, but owners should check for updates following shootaround. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:48 pm
  • Rodney Stuckey exits Sunday's game
Rodney Stuckey (knee) left Sunday's game against the 76ers due to a sore knee and he was unable to return.

Advice: With the Pacers up by a considerable margin, it's uncertain if Stuckey was unavailable due to the severity of his injury or if he was just rested since the game was well out of reach. If Stuckey misses any time it's good news for Aaron Brooks. Stuckey finished with just two points on 1-of-8 shooting before departing. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:18 pm
  • Russell Westbrook drops 39-13-11 line in loss
Russell Westbrook notched his 36th triple-double of the season during Sunday's loss to the Rockets, racking up 39 points, 13 assists, 11 rebounds, three 3-pointers and five turnovers in 39 minutes.

Advice: As per usual, Westbrook was extremely aggressive at getting to the line, going 10-of-16 from the charity stripe while connecting on 13 of his 24 shot attempts for a 62.8 true shooting percentage. Westbrook now needs just six more triple-doubles to surpass Oscar Robertson's single-season record, a feat that seems highly attainable with 10 more games on the schedule for OKC. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:29 pm
  • Buddy Hield catches fire late in comeback win
Buddy Hield caught fire down the stretch of Sunday's 98-97 comeback win in L.A., finishing with 15 points, three 3-pointers, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Advice: Hield finished 5-of-12 from the field but he made them when it mattered, going 0-of-5 from deep before hitting three straight during a furious fourth-quarter comeback. He scored at least 20 points in his previous two games and continues to look like a long-term piece for the rebuilding Kings. He's in a perfect situation for fantasy purposes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:04 pm
  • Darren Collison hits 8-of-11 FGs, scores 19
Darren Collison started Sunday's game and had 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting with four assists, one board and one steal in 28 minutes.

Advice: DC was rested on Friday and the random DNPs make it hard to trust him in critical situations for fantasy purposes. He got a boost tonight with Ty Lawson (stiff knee) ruled out at the last minute, but it doesn't sound like Lawson will miss too much time with the injury. It's worth noting that DC was also riding the bench while Langston Galloway (six points, three assists in 25 minutes) played PG during the Kings' huge run to steal this win in L.A. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:01 pm
  • James Harden double-doubles, tweaks wrist
James Harden put up a 22-point, 12-assist double-double during Sunday's win over OKC, but exited the game with 30 seconds left in the fourth after a hard fall on his left wrist, and did not return.

Advice: Harden added five boards, two triples and five turnovers through his 36 minutes of floor time, but this wrist issue is definitely a concern. Harden's left (shooting) wrist was heavily wrapped up in ice after the game, and he acknowledged during his post-game interview that he initially suffered the injury during Monday's win over Denver. Head coach Mike D'Antoni said it's something Harden will likely be dealing with the rest of the season, and admitted that he'll rest the MVP-candidate if need be. For now, we'll consider him questionable for Tuesday's game vs. Golden State, and if he's out, Lou Williams would likely emerge as the primary beneficiary. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:21 pm
  • Danny Green expected to return Monday vs. CLE
Danny Green is expected to return on Monday after sitting out Saturday's game as a precaution.

Advice: It doesn't sound like the Spurs will rest any of their veterans for Monday's game vs. the Cavaliers, so owners can tentatively deploy them as usual. Dejounte Murray (groin) is the only player currently ruled out. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:55 pm
  • Darren Collison (rest) will start on Sunday
Darren Collison (rest) will return to the starting five for Sunday's matchup with the Clippers.

Advice: This could mean that Ty Lawson will be returning to the second unit, and his value figures to take a hit with Collison active. In his two games against the Clippers this season, Collison has compiled averages of 18.0 points, 2.0 triples, 3.5 boards, 2.0 assists and just 1.0 turnover per contest on 58.3 percent shooting, so feel free to get him active. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:24 pm
  • Arron Afflalo and Kosta Koufos resting Sunday
Arron Afflalo and Kosta Koufos will rest against the Clippers on Sunday.

Advice: Of course they will. This is the front end of a back-to-back set, so both players should be active on Monday vs. the Grizzlies. Expect plenty of DNPs for the veterans in Sacramento going forward. Buddy Hield is the only wing worth owning on the Kings right now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:27 am
  • Wes puts up another dud
Wesley Matthews made 2-of-12 from the field and missed both free throws for four points with six rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks.

Advice: Besides the missed shots, that's a pretty good line for Matthews. Still, Matthews is now down to just 28.6 percent from the field in March, and a lot of that is because he's only made two shots at the rim for the entire month. The downside is outweighing the upside by a lot these days. He did go to the locker room today, but quickly returned. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:09 pm
  • Yogi Ferrell scores 10 points in 18 minutes
Yogi Ferrell scored 10 points with four rebounds, four assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 18 minutes against the Raptors on Saturday.

Advice: He did not check for the first 15 minutes of this game. Ferrell gave the Mavs a nice spark after a strong start, so it's fair to say Ferrell's minutes were likely going to be in the low double digits had he not played well early. He's a drop candidate in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:04 pm
  • Kawhi Leonard scores 29 points vs. Knicks
Kawhi Leonard scored 29 points during a 106-98 win over the Knicks on Saturday, adding five rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Advice: The minutes continue to be there and it looks like for the second year in a row, Kawhi will play more minutes per game after the break than he did before it. Leonard also hinted that he won't be seeing a decrease in minutes based on the tough upcoming schedule. "It's going to get us mentally prepared," Leonard said. This tough stretch starts against the Cavs on Monday as the Spurs start a four-game week. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:56 pm
  • Derrick Rose scores 24 points
Derrick Rose (foot) scored 24 points with five rebounds, five assists and one turnover against the Spurs on Saturday.

Advice: Considering he had Kawhi Leonard on him quite a bit during this game, this is a positive for Rose. His sore foot that kept him out for the last game looked like a non-issue, as well. There's always risk of Rose resting and he usually doesn't play when he's banged up, so he'll be a tough player to rely on the rest of the way, especially because the Knicks will likely be eliminated from the postseason on Monday. Start him at your own risk with four games next week. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:16 pm
  • Kyrie Irving gets torched by Wall
Kyrie Irving made 8-of-23 from the field for 23 points with two rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: It was a game Irving may want to forget. He couldn't knock down jumpers while John Wall just did whatever he wanted on shot selection. The Cavs are now just 0.5 games ahead of the Celtics for the No. 1 seed, which could make it less likely Irving gets additional rest. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:21 pm
  • Rose, Lee, Kuz, Porzingis & Willy starting
Derrick Rose, Courtney Lee, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Kristaps Porzingis and Willy Hernangomez will start against the Spurs on Saturday.

Advice: It sounds like Rose should be fine, but we'll see how long the he lasts in what is shaping up to be a blowout. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:26 pm
  • Gordon Hayward with left quad contusion
Gordon Hayward has been diagnosed with a left quadriceps contusion suffered during the fourth quarter on Saturday.

Advice: X-rays were negative, so he didn't suffer a fracture due to the contact from Austin Rivers. Hayward did return from this injury, but he asked out for a second time. Coach Quin Snyder also said Hayward is "fine" from this injury, so most signs point to him being ready for Monday. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:49 pm
  • Derrick Rose is available to play vs. Spurs
Derrick Rose (foot) is available to play against the Spurs on Saturday.

Advice: The "available to play" tag can be a little worrisome, especially when it's on a tanking team and for Derrick Rose. Rose has also said he doesn't care too much about free agency because he saved his money, so that's a whole different story. There are a lot of red flags on Rose, so most owners may just want to steer clear. Ron Baker and Chasson Randle will lose playing time, assuming Rose is a full go. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:06 pm
  • Quin Snyder: Gordon Hayward (leg) is fine
Coach Quin Snyder said he thinks Gordon Hayward is "fine" after bruising his left leg.

Advice: The coach added Hayward's injury wasn't to his knee joint and it was to a muscle in his leg. Hayward was not available to comment after the game, but the Jazz said that's their standard procedure for an injured player. For now, Hayward sounds like he'll be ready to roll for Monday against the Pelicans. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:42 pm
  • Iman Shumpert (sore right knee) out vs. Wiz
Iman Shumpert (sore right knee) will not play against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: This is his "good" knee and not his left one, which required multiple surgeries including an ACL reconstruction. Shumpert being out tonight should help J.R. Smith and Kyle Korver get some added run tonight. Smith is a short-term option and the obvious risk to go along with it. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:30 pm
  • Rodney Hood has another rough day
Rodney Hood made 4-of-13 from the field for nine points with four rebounds, two steals and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: He has not shown up since returning from his knee soreness, averaging 7.7 points, 3.0 boards, 0.7 steals and 1.0 treys on just 33.3 percent from the field in those three. Joe Ingles has outplayed Hood for the majority of the season and his knee issue may be the reason. Regardless, Hood isn't a fantasy option for most owners in this crucial part of the season. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:15 pm
  • Joe Johnson scores 14 points
Joe Johnson scored 14 points with three rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: He was really the only guy to step up on the perimeter for the Jazz. Johnson has been fairly inconsistent lately and this was his first game above 42 percent from the field since Mar. 13. He will likely be coming off the bench against the Pelicans on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:12 pm
  • Joe Ingles hurts right elbow
Joe Ingles (right elbow) scored one point with three rebounds, five assists and one steal in 27 minutes against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: He looked to suffer a non-contact injury to his non-shooting elbow and left the game after the injury. Ingles didn't get treatment or medical attention after he checked out, and he did return shortly afterwards. For now, Ingles sounds like he's going to be OK. If Gordon Hayward (knee) does need to miss time, Ingles would be asked to step up. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:04 pm
  • Gordon Hayward has left knee soreness
Gordon Hayward had left knee soreness in the fourth quarter against the Clippers on Saturday, finishing with 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: He banged knees with Austin Rivers and came out of the game on the next possession. After about two minutes on the bench, Hayward did return to action for two minutes and even hit a trey in that time, but he asked out of the game after that and did not return. Hayward had a big ice pack on his left knee and went to the locker room before the game was completed. It didn't look bad and hopefully he'll be ready to play against the Pelicans on Tuesday to start his four-game week. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 2:58 pm
  • Danny Green (rest) will not play vs. Knicks
Danny Green (rest) will not play against the Knicks on Saturday.

Advice: It'll be his first game off since November and it comes on a non-back-to-back set. Green has played 28.5 minutes per game in March, which is by far the most he's played in a full month this season. With Green out tonight, Jonathon Simmons figures to get some extra run and could get some added value in garbage time tonight. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 11:44 am
  • Derrick Rose to test foot at shootaround
Derrick Rose said he will test his sore right foot at shootaround to see if he will be able to play Saturday night vs. the Spurs.

Advice: Rose, who injured his foot Wednesday night and did not play Thursday vs. the Blazers, is listed as questionable in the game notes. This may come down to a game-time decision. Ron Baker and Chasson Randle would split minutes at point guard if Rose is unable to play. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:53 am
  • Buddy Hield drops best line of career
Buddy Hield turned in career-highs 22 points, eight boards and seven dimes against the Warriors on Friday, adding two steals and four 3-pointers.

Advice: He's about as hot as he could be, matching his previous career-high 21 points on Wednesday. The Kings are resting their point guards now to allow Hield to have the ball more, and he does have at least 32 minutes in each of his last four. He could disappoint his next time out, but Hield looks like an add in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:58 pm
  • James Harden scores 38 points with 17 dimes
James Harden scored 38 points during a 117-107 win over the Pelicans on Friday with 17 assists, seven rebounds, one block, two steals and five 3-pointers.

Advice: That's his NBA-high eighth 30-plus scoring game this month. Harden also scored or assisted on 77 points tonight, and he's currently on pace to set the record for that department this season with 57.7 points per game -- Nate Archibald has the record with 56.8 in 1972-73. He has scored at least 38 points in four straight and will get a big MVP-caliber matchup with Russell Westbrook Sunday afternoon. There will be triple-doubles. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:38 pm
  • Buddy Hield is starting
Buddy Hield (quad) is starting against the Warriors on Friday.

Advice: He was on the injury report for a quad contusion, but was never expected to miss time. Hield is coming off a strong 21-point effort, so he's starting to creep onto the radar in fantasy. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:15 pm
  • Kyrie Irving scores 26 points in win over CHA
Kyrie Irving scored 26 points on 11-of-22 shooting in Friday's win over the Hornets.

Advice: He hit a pair of throws and added seven assists, one rebound, four steals and two triples. Irving played 38 minutes in the win, so his owners will want to make sure he's active for Saturday's game vs. the Wizards on the second night of a back-to-back set -- the Celtics are two losses behind the Cavs, so the big three will likely play for Cleveland as they fight for seeding. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:53 pm
  • Ish Smith scores six in start
Ish Smith scored six points in the starting lineup during a start against the Magic on Friday, adding three rebounds and one turnover in 16 minutes.

Advice: This isn't going to end well for the Pistons with two bad losses in a row. While Smith should remain in the first unit for the short term, it's still going to be a timeshare and his usage figures to take a hit with better players around him. He's more of a steals and dimes specialist than a guy fantasy owners should count on the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:27 pm
  • Buddy Hield (right quad) is probable Friday
Buddy Hield is probable for Friday's game vs. the Warriors with a right quad contusion.

Advice: The Kings must be confident about Hield playing, as they just announced that Tyreke Evans, Darren Collison and Anthony Tolliver are resting. Hield is coming off a 21-point game on Wednesday and his owners can pencil him into lineups for now. Rotoworld.com Friday, 5:48 pm
  • Collison, Tyreke and Tolliver resting vs. GSW
Darren Collison, Tyreke Evans and Anthony Tolliver are all out for planned rest against the Warriors on Friday.

Advice: This is pretty much status quo for the Kings as they get a look at their youth. Ty Lawson should get big minutes in the first unit while the Kings piece it together in the second unit. Collison isn't worth owning now that he's basically resting every other game. Rotoworld.com Friday, 5:42 pm
  • Shelvin Mack questionable for Saturday
Shelvin Mack (ankle) is questionable to play against the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: The Jazz won't need Mack anyway with George Hill somewhat healthy against Chris Paul. Rotoworld.com Friday, 12:29 pm
  • Carlisle calls Yogi a utility player
Coach Rick Carlisle said Yogi Ferrell can be great as a "utility player."

Advice: This confirms Carlisle's talk of the Mavs playing Seth Curry more at the point. Ferrell only played 16 minutes on Thursday and that was because Curry played a lot of two. It's possible Ferrell's minutes drop even more going forward, so he's a drop candidate in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:38 am
  • Ish Smith will start again on Friday night
Ish Smith will remain in the starting lineup Friday night vs. the Magic.

Advice: Coach Stan Van Gundy wanted to shake things up on Wednesday and inserted Smith into starting five. Smith finished with nine points, seven assists, three steals, one rebound and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes. Reggie Jackson had just six points and four assists in 19 minutes. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:40 am
  • Wes Matthews scores five points
Wesley Matthews made 1-of-8 from the field for five points with four rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer against the Clippers on Thursday.

Advice: He just is stuck in one of his brutal slumps again. In his last five, Matthews made just 28.9 percent from the field with averages of 6.6 points, 3.0 boards, 3.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.0 treys. The Iron Man has some of the longest slumps among NBA starters, so some fantasy owners may want to just leave him on the wire until he snaps out of it. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:54 pm
  • Yogi Ferrell scores just five points
Yogi Ferrell scored five points off the bench against the Clippers on Thursday, adding two rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer in 16 minutes.

Advice: It's not looking great for Yogi right now. Coach Rick Carlisle said he wants to get a longer look at Seth Curry at the one, and obviously the Mavs can't use Ferrell at the two for more than a handful of minutes. It was a fun ride, but Ferrell is a drop candidate in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:50 pm
  • Danny Green vanishes in 22 minutes Thursday
Danny Green disappeared vs. Memphis on Thursday with four points, two assists, one turnover and no other stats to his credit in 22 minutes.

Advice: We're more than 85 percent through with the regular season, so anyone owning Green should be inured to occasional duds. He's not worth owning in most points leagues, but continues to eke out value in most roto formats. Owners should at least be spared DNP-CDs given his modest playing time and the Spurs' continued pursuit of the No. 1 seed. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:47 pm
  • J.J. Barea ejected for flagrant 2 foul
J.J. Barea was ejected for a flagrant 2 foul on Blake Griffin in the third quarter on Thursday.

Advice: This was probably one of the worst flagrant 2 fouls of the season. Barea only have Griffin a shove and may have made some contact to his face. He won't be suspended for this one and will be ready for Saturday against the Raptors. Barea finished with five points, three assists and one 3-pointer. He isn't worth owning in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:14 pm
  • Yogi to the bench
Yogi Ferrell will come off the bench against the Clippers on Thursday.

Advice: He did receive his Western Conference Rookie of the Month for February, but Ferrell won't get to start against Chris Paul. He hasn't played well for a few weeks now, so he was shaping up to be a drop even before this news. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:38 pm
  • Derrick Rose out for Thursday
Derrick Rose (sore right foot) will not play against the Blazers on Thursday.

Advice: He suffered the injury late on Wednesday night and was limping after the game. Rose missing a game due to injury is nothing new and he could miss more time as he approaches free agency this summer. The Knicks should get a look at Chasson Randle and Ron Baker tonight, but both are not really great fantasy adds unless Rose is ruled out for multiple games. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:31 pm
  • Rodney Hood struggles in 21 minutes Wednesday
Rodney Hood had another forgettable game on Wednesday, logging 21 minutes to finish with three points on 1-of-4 shooting, three rebounds, one assist and one turnover.

Advice: Hood was in foul trouble during his return from a knee injury on Monday, but tonight he was the victim of his own inefficiency -- Joe Ingles played 25 minutes, Joe Johnson played 23 minutes, and even Alec Burks logged 19 scoreless minutes. With his uninspiring play and recurring knee soreness, Hood is tough to trust if you're battling for the fantasy playoffs. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:03 pm
  • Joe Johnson shifts to bench on Wednesday
Joe Johnson shifted to the bench on Wednesday, where he chipped in 10 points on 4-of-10 shooting with one 3-pointer, four rebounds, two assists and one block.

Advice: Derrick Favors (bone bruise) is out indefinitely and the Jazz had been playing well with Johnson in his spot, but they opted to play the matchups with Boris Diaw starting tonight. Johnson logged 23 minutes on Wednesday and should hover in the mid-20s whether he's starting or coming off the bench. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:00 pm
  • Gordon Hayward shoots 6-of-17 from the field
Gordon Hayward couldn't find the range on Wednesday, making 6-of-17 FGs and 6-of-9 FTs to finish with 19 points, eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: In Utah's previous three games, Hayward was tasked with defending LeBron James, Jimmy Butler and Paul George, so he may have just run out of energy tonight. The Jazz don't play again until Saturday, which is bad if you're relying on him for immediate value, but at least it'll give him a chance to recharge his batteries. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:00 pm
  • X-rays negative on Derrick Rose's left foot
X-rays were negative on Derrick Rose's left foot, but he exited the arena after Wednesday's game with a brace and a noticeable limp.

Advice: Rose did return after the injury, finishing with 17 points and six assists in 32 minutes, but we're considering him questionable to face the Blazers on Thursday. Rose said that his foot was injured, not his ankle, and his oft-injured knees don't seem to have been affected. If he is forced to miss any time, Ron Baker and Chasson Randle would absorb the PG duties. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:15 pm
  • Garrett Temple comes off the bench
Garrett Temple scored 12 points with three rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Advice: It's tough to count on any Kings vet right now with how the front office finally is getting to play the youth. Temple can remain on the wire in just about all fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:03 pm
  • Buddy Hield scores 21 points vs. Bucks
Buddy Hield scored 21 points with four rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Advice: It's his best scoring game as a King. Hield has seen his shot total rise with at least 12 in each of his last three games as coach Dave Joerger gives his rookie more responsibility. Hield also has a steal in three straight and only 1.0 turnovers in that span, as well. His fantasy value isn't all that great because he doesn't do too much outside of scoring, but feel free to give him a look if you need some points and treys. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:53 pm
  • Arron Afflalo returns to action in loss
Arron Afflalo scored 12 points with two rebounds and two 3-pointers against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Advice: The Kings will continue to rest their veterans and chances are Afflalo won't play either Friday or Sunday. Afflalo can remain on the waiver wire in just about all leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:42 pm
  • Derrick Rose returns to action
Derrick Rose (right ankle) returned in the fourth quarter on Wednesday.

Advice: He had a sore right ankle and did go to the locker room. Rose appears to be fine, but the Knicks may take it easier on him. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:40 pm
  • Derrick Rose (ankle) questionable to return
Derrick Rose has a sore right ankle and is questionable to return to Wednesday's game against the Jazz.

Advice: It looked like he tweaked his ankle on a drive to the basket. Rose stayed in the game and shot the free throws, but he checked out and went to the locker room. While it didn't look bad, the Knicks will probably play it safe with their point guard. If he's out, it'll be Ron Baker and Chasson Randle getting the PG minutes. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:30 pm
  • Russell Westbrook drops triple-double No. 35
Russell Westbrook turned in his 35th triple-double of the season during a 122-97 win over the 76ers on Wednesday, scoring 18 points with 11 rebounds, 14 assists, two blocks and five turnovers.

Advice: Westbrook was 6-of-6 from the field and 6-of-6 from the line to make him the first player in NBA history to drop a triple-double on perfect shooting. Westbrook only had a 19.5 usage rate in this game, which is less than half his season average and is also a season low by a mile. In fact, this was only the second time this season he had a usage rate under 30 in a game. He gets a triple-double date with James Harden on Sunday afternoon. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:21 pm
  • Kyrie Irving scores 33 points in 27 minutes
Kyrie Irving scored 33 points in 27 minutes vs. Denver, making 11-of-22 FGs and 7-of-7 FTs, but it wasn't enough to avoid a 126-113 defeat.

Advice: Kyrie went 4-of-5 from downtown with three assists, two rebounds and zero turnovers tonight. LeBron James was also efficient with 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting, but offense wasn't the problem -- Cleveland put up no defensive resistance and the Nuggets finished 53.1 percent from the field. They'll try to right the ship in Charlotte on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:59 pm
  • Iman Shumpert benched, logs 17 minutes
Iman Shumpert came off Cleveland's bench for five points, three rebounds, two assists and one block in 17 minutes vs. the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Advice: Shump even knocked down his lone 3-point attempt tonight, but the playing time is a glaring red flag. With J.R. Smith and Kyle Korver both healthy, there's no reason to touch Shumpert unless Cleveland is resting LeBron James. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:57 pm
  • Rodney Stuckey gets a DNP-CD
Rodney Stuckey was a DNP-CD on Wednesday.

Advice: Coach Nate McMillan changed his rotation and went with Aaron Brooks over Stuckey for today. He mentioned this before the game, so maybe it sticks in the short term. Although, not winning today probably isn't going to help. Leave Stuckey on the wire. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:50 pm
  • Ish Smith dishes seven assists as starting PG
Ish Smith moved into Detroit's starting lineup on Wednesday, where he posted nine points, seven assists, three steals, one rebound and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes.

Advice: Stan Van Gundy threatened lineup changes after Tuesday's loss to the lowly Nets, saying, "We'll find out [Wednesday]," and it wasn't an idle threat. The fact that Detroit got destroyed tonight doesn't help Smith's case, but SVG will probably roll with him for at least a few more games. He's a decent pickup if you missed out on guys like Tyler Ulis and Malcolm Brogdon. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:38 pm
  • Garrett Temple to bench on Wednesday
Garrett Temple will come off the bench on Wednesday.

Advice: Arron Afflalo is getting the start tonight, and this effectively erases Temple's faint fantasy appeal. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:31 pm
  • Arron Afflalo starting, Temple to Kings bench
Arron Afflalo (personal) will start for the Kings on Wednesday, sending Garrett Temple to the bench.

Advice: The Kings' rotations are perpetually in flux, and tonight it'll be Afflalo getting the nod vs. Milwaukee. He's done nothing this season to encourage owners to pick him up. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:29 pm
  • Joe Johnson comes off bench w/ Diaw starting
Joe Johnson will come off the bench vs. New York on Wednesday.

Advice: Boris Diaw will start and draw the matchup vs. Kristaps Porzingis, but the minute allotment shouldn't change too much here. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:03 pm
  • Russell Westbrook (hand) will start Wednesday
Russell Westbrook (hand) will start Wednesday vs. the 76ers, as expected.

Advice: Westbrook picked up a blister on his shooting hand during Monday's loss to Golden State, but he's obviously fine, and he should have a nice bounce-back performance with a matchup against Philly. Victor Oladipo, Andre Roberson, Taj Gibson and Steven Adams will join him in the starting five. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:49 pm
  • Iman Shumpert will come off the bench vs. DEN
Iman Shumpert will return to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.

Advice: J.R. Smith will be replacing him in the starting five, and Kyle Korver (foot) will be back in action tonight, so Shumpert's minutes will likely dip to the lower-20s. He's not a viable target in most settings with Smith and Korver active. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:39 pm
  • Ish Smith starting, Jackson to the bench
Ish Smith will enter the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Bulls, sending Reggie Jackson to the bench.

Advice: Smith has been heating up over the past month, while Jackson has been trending in the wrong direction, so this could be a lineup change that holds. Through 21 games as a starter this season, Smith owns averages of 10.8 points, 6.4 assists, 1.0 steal and just 1.5 turnovers per game on 43.1 percent shooting, so he's worth a look if those numbers fit your needs. Jackson, on the other hand, is quickly approaching cut candidate territory. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:22 pm
  • Shelvin Mack (ankle) ruled out Wednesday
Shelvin Mack (left ankle sprain) will not play Wednesday vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Mack has been sidelined for over five weeks. He should be left on waivers in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:46 am
  • Wes Matthews back in a funk on Tuesday
Wesley Matthews, who had 15 points and two 3-pointers on Sunday, hit just 3-of-8 shots for eight points, three boards, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Warriors.

Advice: If you throw out Sunday's mini-explosion against the lowly Nets, he's scored a grand total of 13 points in three of his last four games. The emergence of Seth Curry has hurt him, but if he doesn't show improvement immediately, owners may have to think about hitting the waiver wire, since fantasy seasons are on the line here. He's hit just 33 percent of his shots over his last four games, although the rest of his line was pretty good tonight. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:37 pm
  • Ish Smith gets hot late, outplays Jackson
Ish Smith scored 12 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's tough 98-96 loss to the Nets and finished with seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block, and hit 8-of-15 shots in 28 minutes off the bench.

Advice: Starter Reggie Jackson played just 20 minutes and hit 3-of-9 shots for seven points and two assists, and gave way to Smith in the fourth quarter when Smith caught fire. Jackson is still the starter and it's still his job to lose, while we've seen Smith turn in games like this one before. As usual, Smith is always worth keeping an eye on and might even be worth a deep-league flier, but Jackson played well in his previous two games and probably isn't in jeopardy of losing his job this deep into the season. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:24 pm
  • Westbrook dealing with blister on his hand
Billy Donovan said that Russell Westbrook picked up a blister on his right (shooting) hand during Monday's loss to the Warriors, but he's fine.

Advice: Westbrook took it easy during Tuesday's light, non-contact practice, but he should be just fine for Wednesday's matchup with the 76ers. Owners can expect to get official confirmation on Westbrook's status following Wednesday morning's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 11:25 am
  • James Harden does his usual thing
James Harden scored a game-high 39 points with 11 assists, seven rebounds, four steals and four 3-pointers in Monday's win against the Nuggets.

Advice: The Beard has 38 or more points in three straight games and four of his past five outings. He has managed three or more 3-pointers in five of his past six contests while rolling up two or more steals in four straight and six of the past seven. Harden continues to post huge fantasy totals and the Rockets will not rest their players until they're locked into a playoff seed, so the good times will continue to roll. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 9:34 pm
  • Russell Westbrook held to 15 points in loss
Russell Westbrook was held to 15 points on 4-of-16 shooting vs. the Warriors on Monday.

Advice: Incredibly, his 15 points were his 2nd-fewest in a game this season since he scored 14 vs. the Heat back in November. Westbrook added eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one triple, but only played 27 minutes in the lopsided loss. Westbrook needs seven triple-doubles in his last 12 games to match Oscar Robertson's single-season record of 41 triple-doubles, so Westy's owners probably don't have to worry about him taking time off. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 9:15 pm
  • Foul trouble limits Rodney Hood
Rodney Hood (knee) was in the starting five Monday in Indiana, and he finished with 11 points, two rebounds and a pair of 3-pointers over 16 minutes.

Advice: Hood was limited to 16 minutes due to foul trouble, not his ailing knee. That meant Joe Ingles, who Hood supplanted in the lineup, saw more action. It might be a slow go for Hood to knock off the rust and get back into the swing of things, but he is a decent play when he is active and healthy. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 7:21 pm
  • Joe Ingles adjusts to bench role again
Joe Ingles came off the bench in Monday's game at Indiana, scoring four points with seven rebounds and five assists over 27 minutes.

Advice: Ingles wasn't terribly active on the offensive end, but he was busy on the glass and he even recorded a blocked shot. He still logged starter-type minutes as the first option off the bench, although that was partly due to Rodney Hood being in foul trouble. Ingles remains a decent play in deeper fantasy formats even in a reserve role, although obviously his appeal is much higher when Hood is on the shelf. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 7:12 pm
  • Joe Johnson dismal from floor
Joe Johnson misfired on six of his seven field goal attempts in Monday's 107-100 loss at Indiana, posting just two points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal over 31 minutes.

Advice: Johnson missed all four of his 3-pointer attempts and never did seem to get comfortable. The veteran has now missed 28 of his past 41 field goal attempts for a dismal 31.7 percent from the floor over the past four outings. Until he gets on track he isn't helping in any fantasy format. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 6:43 pm
  • Gordon Hayward scores career-high 38 at IND
Gordon Hayward scored a career-high 38 points with three rebounds, two assists, two steals, a blocked shot and three 3-pointers in Monday's 107-100 loss at Indiana.

Advice: It was likely extra special for Hayward since he spent his college days in Indy playing for the Butler Bulldogs. He was on point, connecting on 16 of his 24 field goal attempts. He now has at least one 3-pointer in all 11 games in March, and 22 straight outings dating back to Jan. 28. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 6:31 pm
  • Rodney Hood starting, Joe Ingles to the bench
Rodney Hood (knee) will return to the starting lineup following a two-game stint on the sidelines for Monday's matchup with Indiana, sending Joe Ingles back to the bench.

Advice: Hood has been a frustrating guy to own this season, but at the very least, he could be someone to consider deploying as a deep league streamer or DFS punt play. George Hill, Gordon Hayward, Joe Johnson and Rudy Gobert will join Hood in the starting five for tonight's game. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 3:31 pm
  • Joe Ingles returns to the bench
Joe Ingles will come off the bench on Monday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: Rodney Hood (knee) is returning to action, but Derrick Favors (knee) is still out. The Jazz are playing more small ball with Joe Johnson at the four, so Ingles should still see a healthy amount of minutes. His upside isn't the greatest when Hood is active, though. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 3:29 pm
  • Rodney Hood (knee) expected to play Monday
Rodney Hood (knee) is expected to play Monday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: Hood has spent the past two games on the sidelines with a sore right knee, but it sounds like he'll be back in action tonight, which will likely result in Joe Ingles heading back to the bench and there won't be as many minutes available for Joe Johnson. Hood has been woefully inconsistent this season, but if you've got someone to cut in a deep league, he could be someone to take a flier on. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 2:58 pm
  • Shelvin Mack (ankle) ruled out Monday
Shelvin Mack (ankle) will not play on Monday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: He hasn't played since Feb. 11 and isn't in the rotation anyways. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 9:06 am
  • Rodney Hood (knee) questionable for Monday
Rodney Hood (knee) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Pacers.

Advice: He can't shake this knee issue and even if does manage to play tonight, he will likely get some DNPs down the stretch. He's too frustrating to trust in the fantasy playoffs in standard leagues. Joe Ingles will be a solid streaming option if Hood is ruled out. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 9:04 am
  • Cavs win, Kyrie Irving has season-high 46 pts
Kyrie Irving blitzed the Lakers on Sunday with a season-high 46 points, making 15-of-21 field goals and 10-of-10 free throws with six 3-pointers, three assists and two rebounds in 38 minutes.

Advice: Irving exited Thursday's game due to a sore and tight left knee, and he sat out Saturday's game as a precaution -- the rest obviously served him well. He dealt with left knee tendinitis late in the 2014-15 season, and eventually required surgery to fix a fractured kneecap, so the Cavs will likely play it safe with their star PG with the postseason looming. Owners can expect him to play in Denver on Wednesday, but a DNP wouldn't be shocking during the Cavs' back-to-back set on Friday and Saturday. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 9:43 pm
  • Corey Brewer grabs nine rebounds Sunday
Corey Brewer scored nine points with nine rebounds and a steal in 19 minutes off the bench in Sunday's loss against Cleveland.

Advice: Brewer had his best game in months, but it is still unlikely to move the needle for most fantasy owners. He is nothing more than a depth play in deeper fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 9:23 pm
  • Garrett Temple hot from the perimeter
Garrett Temple scored 15 points while hitting all three of his attempts from behind the arc in Sunday's 118-102 loss in San Antonio.

Advice: Temple matched his best shooting night since returning from a long-term hamstring injury, and this was just the second time he played in a back-to-back situation since coming back March 5. The last time he struggled in both ends of the back-to-back, but he obviously excelled this time around. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 7:17 pm
  • Darren Collison struggles in Sunday's loss
Darren Collison misfired on seven of his eight field-goal attempts in Sunday's 118-102 loss against the Spurs, finishing with just two points, four assists and two rebounds in 24 minutes.

Advice: Collison has turned in back-to-back disappointing efforts, hitting just five of his 21 field goal attempts. He had the chance to shine and be the focal point of the offense with Arron Afflalo (personal), Tyreke Evans (ankle) and Ben McLemore (rest) sidelined, but his shot was not falling and he struggled mightily against San Antonio's defense. He'll have two full days to rest before the team's next outing against Milwaukee on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 7:07 pm
  • Buddy Hield (finger) posts 18/5/5 in defeat
Buddy Hield knocked down 8-of-14 shots with a pair of 3-pointers on Sunday, finishing with 18 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal and zero turnovers in 32 minutes.

Advice: This was one of Hield's best performances of the season, with the assists tying his career-high, but it wasn't enough to get a road win vs. the Spurs. He injured his right index finger during the game, ripping half of his nail, but didn't leave after getting it bandaged up. We'll let you know if it's serious enough to jeopardize his status for Tuesday's game. For now we're assuming he's fine and leaving him off the injury report. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 7:00 pm
  • Goran Dragic shoots 6-of-22 in home defeat
Goran Dragic couldn't find the range on Sunday, going just 6-of-22 from the field for 17 points with four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 38 minutes.

Advice: Dragic missed some shots he usually makes, but credit is also due to the Blazers, who dogged him on the perimeter and didn't let up when bigger guys switched onto him. Tonight's loss dropped Miami to the No. 9 seed, in a virtual tie with Detroit and just half a game behind the Bucks. The Eastern Conference playoff race is going to have a fun finish, and it helps ensure that key players like Dragic won't see any rest in the next few weeks. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 6:51 pm
  • Kyrie Irving, LeBron, K-Love all back Sunday
Kyrie Irving, LeBron James and Kevin Love will all return on Sunday after sitting out Saturday's game to rest.

Advice: There was never any doubt that they Cavs' Big Three would be active tonight, but it never hurts to confirm. Irving did have minor left knee tightness that flared up on Thursday, so we'll keep an eye on that tonight. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 6:22 pm
  • Arron Afflalo (personal) out Sunday vs. Spurs
Arron Afflalo (personal) has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

Advice: No reason has been given for Afflalo's absence, so it's unclear when he might rejoin the team. The Kings are tanking, with their young guys getting more and more minutes, so there's no reason to think the 31-year-old Afflalo will play a big role down the stretch. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 2:29 pm
  • Wes Matthews scores 15 points
Wes Matthews scored 15 points with five rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes against the Nets on Sunday.

Advice: He was in a rough slump since the break, so luckily he got the slump-busting Nets today. Hopefully, this game could get Matthews going, but his shot total is also down because there are more mouths to feed with J.J. Barea getting in the mix. Matthews is usually a mid-round guy, but his month-long slump makes him a questionable player to own in standard leagues. He only has three games this week, too. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 12:36 pm
  • Yogi Ferrell fizzling out
Yogi Ferrell scored eight points with two rebounds, five assists, one steal, three blocks and one turnover in 22 minutes against the Nets on Sunday.

Advice: The defensive stats are nice, but that's now four straight games with single-digit scoring and he's really not doing much in other areas. Ferrell is really tough to trust in most leagues right now, especially with just three games this week. Plus, J.J. Barea turning it up doesn't help either. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 12:24 pm
  • J.J. Barea scores 20 points vs. Nets
J.J. Barea scored 20 points with one rebound, seven assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes against the Nets on Sunday.

Advice: He carried the Mavs late with nine consecutive points in the fourth quarter in a 2:32 span. The Mavs are still likely to limit him, and this was his first game over 20 minutes since his January injury. Barea is playing well and even had a 13-dime game, but we'd like to see him play over 20 minutes again before suggesting he's an add. Give him a look in deep leagues. The Mavs only have three games this upcoming week. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 12:20 pm
  • James Harden scores 40 in triple-double
James Harden had another triple-double against the Nuggets during a 109-105 win on Saturday, scoring 40 points with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, eight turnovers and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Advice: That extends his NBA record seven 40-point triple-doubles in one season. Harden also has four consecutive triple-doubles, and it does help he's camping out under the rim more often these days. The Rockets are not expected to rest their players until they are locked in to their seed to allow them to grow as a team and develop chemistry. That is music to the ears of Harden fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 10:31 pm
  • Mike Conley scores 19 points vs. the Spurs
Mike Conley scored 19 points to lead the Grizzlies to a 104-96 win over the Spurs on Saturday.

Advice: The Spurs have defended point guards well all season, but Conley can't be stopped right now. He shot 5-of-12 from the field with seven rebounds, six assists, one block, two steals and three triples in 36 minutes, and he's averaging 22.4 points, 6.8 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 2.3 triples in March. He's been a top-10 player in standard leagues in that span, and the good news for his fantasy owners is that Memphis is fighting for playoff seeding in the West. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 9:25 pm
  • Gordon Hayward scores just nine
Gordon Hayward made 5-of-16 from the field for 14 points with six rebounds, two assists, four steals and three 3-pointers against the Bulls on Saturday.

Advice: He's surprisingly failed to hit 15 points in three of his last five games while his averages in boards, assists, field goal percentage and free throw percentage are down in that span. All three of those bad games were on the road, and that has been a trend for Hayward with his field goal percentage four percentage points worse away from Utah. Two of his three games next week are on the road, but one of those is in Indiana for the Butler product. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 8:39 pm
  • Joe Johnson scores eight points in start
Joe Johnson scored eight points with six rebounds, two assists and one block in 33 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday.

Advice: The Jazz have missed Derrick Favors (knee) more than they thought and have lost three of their last five. Johnson has not exactly performed well in those games, averaging 10.2 points, 4.0 boards, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.0 treys. He's not really a fantasy option and would also lose value once Rodney Hood (knee) comes back. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 8:30 pm
  • Joe Ingles scores 10 points in start
Joe Ingles scored 10 points with three rebounds, five assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday.

Advice: The Jazz may continue to hold Rodney Hood (knee) out to play it safe for next month, which should allow Ingles to get minutes in the 30s. He was tied for the league lead in 3-point percentage, but going 1-of-5 tonight dropped him to second behind Otto Porter. Ingles is a decent player to ride in the short term, but his value will likely drop once the Jazz are whole again. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 8:27 pm
  • Iman Shumpert scores 10 points
Iman Shumpert (shoulder) scored 10 points with five rebounds and three assists vs. the Clippers on Saturday.

Advice: He suffered a minor shoulder strain in his previous game, but played through the issue tonight with the Cavaliers resting their studs. Shumpert finished 5-of-11 from the field in 25 minutes, but his upside is way too low when the Cavs have everyone available. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 7:54 pm
  • Iman Shumpert will start on Saturday
Iman Shumpert will start on Saturday against the Clippers.

Advice: With the Cavs resting their stars, Shumpert could get some decent usage today. He's still not someone fantasy owners will want to trust outside of just a streaming spot for today. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 4:17 pm
  • Kyrie Irving (knee, rest) ruled out Saturday
Kyrie Irving (knee, rest) will not play on Saturday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: He left Thursday's game early with left knee tightness, and while the issue isn't considered serious, the Cavs will hold him out as a precaution. LeBron James and Kevin Love are also resting, but hopefully all three will be good to go for Sunday's game vs. the Lakers. With Irving out, Deron Williams will get the start and is a nice short-term option. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 4:09 pm
  • Russell Westbrook scores 28 with no trip-dub
Russell Westbrook scored 28 points during a 110-94 win over the Kings on Saturday, adding eight rebounds, 10 assists, four steals, seven turnovers and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: No triple-double this time to snap his four-game streak. While he didn't get the triple-double, he still has an excellent chance to average one for the season because he only needs 7.3 boards and 8.2 dimes in his final 13 games to hold the double-digit averages. Additionally, he has multiple-treys in four straight and his jumper is working again. Monday should be fun against the Warriors. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 3:31 pm
  • Buddy Hield scores 11 points vs. OKC
Buddy HIeld scored 11 points with one rebound, one assist and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: Even a homecoming game in Oklahoma couldn't get him going. Hield is coming of a seven-points, zero-dime game on Wednesday and he continues to do very little outside of scoring. There just isn't enough incentive to own the rookie in most leagues right now. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 2:44 pm
  • Garrett Temple plays 28 minutes
Garrett Temple scored seven points with three rebounds, four assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: He took some friendly fire from Kosta Koufos to the groin, but he was OK after a trip to the bench. While Temple did start, his time in the first unit likely won't be lasting very long. Even after a decent line today, he's not going to be worth owning in most leagues with the Kings going so young these days. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 2:38 pm
  • Darren Collison scores 10 points
Darren Collison scored 10 points with three rebounds in 27 minutes against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: It was somewhat disappointing for Collison, who has a decent chance to rest on Sunday. Most fantasy owners may want to jump ship and the Kings do only have three games for the upcoming week, so one day off would make an undesirable player to use. Malachi Richardson returning next week won't help him either. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 2:32 pm
  • Garrett Temple back in the starting lineup
Garrett Temple will start against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: With Arron Afflalo out, there should be a decent amount of minutes going to Temple tonight. He's still not going to be a fantasy option with the Kings going young. Malachi Richardson (hamstring) returning would also take minutes from him Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 11:47 am
  • Collison, Temple, Buddy, WCS & Kosta starting
Darren Collison, Garrett Temple, Buddy Hield, Willie Cauley-Stein and Kosta Koufos will start against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: Collison is back after a day off. With plenty of resting players behind him, he should be getting some heavy minutes against Russell Westbrook. The bad news is more rest is likely coming, so he probably won't be very fun to own when he's not starting. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 11:40 am
  • Arron Afflalo (personal) won't play Saturday
Arron Afflalo (personal) is not with the team and will not play Saturday vs. OKC.

Advice: The Kings are in full tank mode and continue to shuffle their lineup haphazardly on almost a nightly basis. Afflalo has been putting up decent numbers, averaging 11.6 points and 2.9 rebounds over his last seven games, but it's hard to rely on him due to the frequent nights off. He should be left on waivers in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 9:45 am
  • Rodney Hood (knee) will not play Saturday
Rodney Hood (knee) will not play Saturday vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Hood was removed from Wednesday's game due to knee soreness and was unable to suit up on Thursday. Joe Ingles started in place of Hood on Thursday and logged 36 minutes, finishing with 12 points, four rebounds and four assists. Joe Johnson could also see a few extra minutes with Hood sidelined. If you still own Hood, there are probably more attractive, less frustrating options on your league's waiver wire. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 9:02 am
  • James Harden drops 41-14-11 line in loss
James Harden had no help in a 128-112 loss in New Orleans on Friday, scoring 41 points with 14 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Advice: Nobody else in the starting lineup scored more than eight points for the Rockets in this blowout loss. Harden played the entire third quarter and may have played the entire fourth, but the Rockets were just too far behind and coach Mike D'Antoni pulled the plug. This makes sense for the Rockets because they'll have to play in Denver on Saturday. Harden set the franchise record for most assists in a season, and he did it with almost a month to spare. He also has the most 40-point triple-doubles in a single season with six. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 9:49 pm
  • Wes Matthews' rough second half continues
Wes Matthews (calf) returned from a one-game absence during a 116-74 loss to the 76ers on Friday, making 1-of-8 from the field for three points with two rebounds, two assists and two turnovers in 24 minutes.

Advice: He looked frustrated throughout the game and maybe he wasn't 100 percent. Matthews is not exactly having a great post-break run so far, averaging 8.5 points, 3.5 boards, 2.9 dimes, 1.1 steals and 1.5 treys on 30.5 percent from the field in his previous games since the break. We've seen some brutally long slumps from Wes, so a couple more bad games could make him a drop candidate. Considering it's the fantasy playoffs in many leagues, he already is for shallow formats. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 6:45 pm
  • Rodney Hood (knee) questionable for Saturday
Rodney Hood (knee) is questionable for Saturday against the Bulls.

Advice: He did not play on Thursday due to some soreness in his knee. Hood tapped out of Wednesday's game at half and said he was trying to play through some discomfort. The Jazz will likely be limiting him going forward, so he's probably going to be a headache to own. Joe Ingles has more value right now. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 3:19 pm
  • Shelvin Mack (ankle) ruled out Saturday
Shelvin Mack (ankle) has been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Mack has not played since February 11th. He should be left on waivers in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 3:17 pm
  • Wesley Matthews (calf) will start on Friday
Wesley Matthews (right calf strain) will start Friday night vs. Chicago.

Advice: Matthews ends up missing just one game; he sat out Wednesday night after injuring himself on Monday. Dorian Finney-Smith will get bumped back to the bench with Matthews back in the mix. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 2:41 pm
  • Wes Matthews (calf) expected to play Friday
Wesley Matthews (right calf strain) is expected to play Friday night vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Matthews injured himself on Monday night and did not play in Wednesday's win over Washington. On Thursday, coach Rick Carlisle did say he was hopeful that Wes would return for the Chicago game and it appears that is the case. Matthews' return will bump Dorian Finney-Smith back to the bench. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 8:27 am
  • Iman Shumpert (shoulder) is day-to-day
After Thursday's game, coach Tyronn Lue said Iman Shumpert (shoulder) "is going to be day-to-day, he's fine."

Advice: Shumpert injured his shoulder in the third quarter of Thursday's victory over Utah when he tried to dunk on Rudy Gobert. Shumpert didn't talk to reporters after the game, but J.R. Smith said that Shump told him "it was nothing serious." There is no guarantee that Shumpert will play Saturday vs. the Clippers, but it certainly appears he is dealing with only minor discomfort. He can be left on waivers in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 6:27 am
  • Irving (knee) 'hoping' he doesn't miss time
Kyrie Irving (knee tightness) said he is going to receive treatment and is "hoping" that he doesn't have to miss any time.

Advice: Irving told reporters that his left knee had been sore for 48 hours and that it tightened up after sitting to start the fourth quarter on Thursday night. He took himself out with 8:31 remaining and did not return. "I knew what was best for my body at the time," Irving said. "I'm hoping that I don't have to miss any days, but if it really comes down to that and the bigger picture is way more important than a few days, then that's what it's going to be. But as of right now I'm fine." Deron Williams would draw the start if Kyrie is unable to play on Saturday in L.A. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 6:09 am
