    • Donovan Mitchell (calf) questionable for Game 5
Donovan Mitchell (left calf strain) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Celtics.

Advice: Trailing the Celtics by three games to one, getting their best player back would help the Cavaliers immensely. Mitchell did not play in Monday’s Game 4 defeat, with Caris LeVert replacing him in the starting lineup. However, with LeVert (knee) also questionable, the Cavaliers could be without two of its top scorers for Game 5. Max Strus and Sam Merrill also became more important contributors with Mitchell sidelined on Monday. Rotoworld Today, 2:36 pm
    • Iffy for Game 5
Mitchell (calf) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Celtics.

Advice: Mitchell is in danger of missing his second straight contest due to a left calf strain he suffered in Game 3. Caris LeVert started in Mitchell's absence Monday and played well but aggravated a lingering knee injury and is also questionable for Game 5. Rotowire.com Today, 2:34 pm
    • Won't play Monday
Mitchell (calf) has been ruled out for Monday's Game 4 against the Celtics, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: Mitchell had been stellar over his last six postseason appearances, averaging 35.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 35.3 minutes. However, he suffered a strained left calf during Game 3 and will be sidelined for a critical matchup in Cleveland. With Mitchell out, Caris LeVert may slide into the starting lineup at shooting guard, while Isaac Okoro, Sam Merrill and Marcus Morris are also candidates for increased offensive roles. • Woj: Donovan Mitchell (calf) ruled out for Game 4
Donovan Mitchell (left calf strain) has been ruled out for Game 4 against Boston on Monday.

Advice: Mitchell’s calf started bothering him in Game 3, and now Cleveland will have to play Game 4 without their star player. This is a massive loss for the Cavs, who will have to try to defend homecourt without Spida, who is averaging 31.7 points per game in this series. Caris LeVert should start in his place, but everyone will have to step up for them to have a chance. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:05 pm
    • Not present at shootaround
Mitchell (calf) wasn't present for morning shootaround and remains questionable for Monday's Game 4 matchup with the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semifinals round, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Mitchell is tending to a strained left calf, but it would be a major surprise if he wasn't cleared to play in advance of Monday's 7 p.m. ET tipoff. He didn't seem to be limited by the injury in the Cavaliers' 106-103 loss to the Celtics in Game 3 on Saturday, producing 33 points (12-22 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 43 minutes. • Pascal Siakam scores 14 points in Game 4 blowout
Pascal Siakam shot 7-of-9 from the field in Sunday’s 121-89 win over the Knicks, scoring 14 points with four rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes.

Advice: Siakam’s stat line was modest, but this was due to the nature of Game 4 more than anything else. With the Pacers leading 34-14 after the first quarter, Rick Carlisle had little reason to push his starters on Sunday afternoon. As a result, Spicy P only played 22 minutes and did not have much trouble getting to his spots when on the floor. With OG Anunoby unlikely to be available for Game 5 on Tuesday, dealing with Siakam is another issue for the Knicks. Indiana’s win on Sunday tied the series at two games each. • Donovan Mitchell (calf) questionable for Game 4
Donovan Mitchell (left calf strain) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Celtics.

Advice: Mitchell played 43 minutes in Saturday’s Game 3 loss and injured his calf in the process. His injury is especially concerning for a team that was already down one starter (Jarrett Allen). If Mitchell cannot play on Monday, Caris LeVert is the player who will have to step up. Also, the Cavaliers will need more production from Darius Garland. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:45 pm
    • Iffy for Game 4
Mitchell is questionable for Monday's Game 4 against Boston with a strained left calf, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Advice: Mitchell seemingly picked up the injury during Cleveland's Game 3 loss, when he generated 33 points in 43 minutes of action. With Jarrett Allen (rib) also questionable, the Cavaliers could find themselves rather shorthanded for Monday's tilt. If Mitchell can't go, Caris LeVert would likely enter the first unit, while Isaac Okoro and Sam Merrill could see more minutes off the bench. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:44 pm
    • Donovan Mitchell scores 33, but Cavs drop Game 3
Donovan Mitchell finished Saturday’s loss to Boston with 33 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and seven triples across 43 minutes.

Advice: Mitchell was Cleveland’s go-to option, and he led the team in scoring once again. Spida was an efficient 12-of-22 from the floor, including a blistering 7-of-12 from beyond the arc. It was an outstanding individual effort, but the rest of the team did next to nothing to help the superstar out. Isaac Okoro, Darius Garland and Max Strus combined for just 23 points on 9-of-30 shooting. Mitchell averaged nearly 29 points per game in his first-round series with Orlando, and he’s averaged 31.7 points through his first three games of the Eastern Conference semis. There’s no doubt Mitchell will show up to play for Monday’s Game 4, but his teammates will need to get going if the Cavs hope to even up the series with Boston. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:58 pm
