      Advice: The Bulls extended a qualifying offer to Williams previously to make him a restricted free agent, but they are solidifying their trust in Williams' long-term potential with this contract.       According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Patrick Williams intends to sign a five-year, $90 million contract to remain with the Bulls.

      Advice: With the Bulls extending a qualifying offer to Williams on June 24, the franchise could match any offer he would have received as a restricted free agent. However, things will not get that far, as the two sides have agreed on a lucrative five-year pact. Williams appeared in just 43 games last season, as a bone edema in his left foot required season-ending surgery. With Chicago appearing unlikely to re-sign DeMar DeRozan, Williams should have increased fantasy value next season.       According to Hoops Hype’s Michael Scotto, the Pistons are declining Chimezie Metu’s player option for 2024-25.

      Advice: Holmes had to decline his $12.8 million player option prior to this agreement, so he secured himself a small raise. As for the second season of his deal, only $250,000 of it is guaranteed. Holmes figures to play a key role for the rebuilding Wizards in 2024-25 with this news, and he offers some intriguing fantasy appeal due to the lack of depth in Washington's frontcourt.
