  • Obi Toppin chips in 15 points off bench in Game 3
    Obi Toppin provided a boost off the bench with 15 points (6-of-11 FGs), six rebounds and two triples against the Bucks on Friday.

    Advice: Toppin scored 13 points total in Games 1 and 2 of this series, but he exceeded that number in this game. He only played 17 minutes, and it’s unlikely that he plays a larger role moving forward. However, he stepped up and provided them with a nice boost in this one. Toppin was the team’s starting power forward to open the year, but he has still found a way to be effective as a reserve recently.     Advice: Middleton did all he could to help lead Milwaukee to an overtime victory, including hitting the game-tying shot at the end of regulation to send the game to overtime and also tying the game late in overtime, but his 40-point double-double was spoiled in a losing effort. Middleton led all players in Friday's contest in scoring while ending as one of two Bucks with 10 or more rebounds to go along with a handful of assists in a well-rounded outing.     Bobby Portis recorded a double-double on Friday with 17 points (7-of-15 FGs), 18 rebounds, one steal, one block and one triple against Indiana.

    Advice: Portis, who was a finalist for the league’s Sixth Man of the Year award, has played really well as the starting power forward in place of Giannis Antetokounmpo, and that continued in this game. He has recorded a double-double in all three games of this series, but this was by far his best outing. Giannis isn’t expected to play in this series, so Portis should continue to start.     Portis finished with 17 points (7-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 18 rebounds, one block and one steal over 44 minutes in Friday's 121-118 overtime loss to Indiana in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

    Advice: Portis dominated the boards in Friday's contest, leading all players in rebounds while finishing as one of two Bucks with a double-double in a losing effort in overtime. Portis has stepped in nicely while Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) continuing to miss time, recording a double-double in all three games in the quarterfinals thus far. Portis will continue to remain in the starting lineup until Antetokounmpo is able to return, but will become a key player off of Milwaukee's bench if the two-time MVP does come back for Game 4 or at some point in the series against Indiana.   • Khris Middleton drops 42 in overtime loss
    Khris Middleton led the Bucks with 42 points (16-of-29 FGs), 10 rebounds, five assists and four 3-pointers in a 121-118 overtime loss to the Pacers in Game 3 on Friday.

    Advice: Middleton was questionable coming into this game, but the ankle injury didn’t have any impact on his production. He forced overtime with a 3-pointer and tied the game with six seconds left in overtime with another triple. It wasn’t enough to help them get the win, but it was still a special performance from Middleton. Game 4 is on Sunday, and Middleton will need to carry over some of this magic if they want to tie this series up and retake home court advantage.     Advice: Toppin provided a nice spark off Indiana's bench to help his squad take a series lead over Milwaukee, leading all bench players in scoring while ending as one of five Pacers with 15 or more points in the overtime contest. Toppin posted his highest point total of the postseason thus far, surpassing the double-digit mark for the first time of the series. If Toppin can continue to produce the rest of the series like he did in Game 3, Indiana will continue to find itself in a good position to come out on top in the quarterfinals against the Bucks.
