  • MarJon Beauchamp to play in Vegas Summer League
MarJon Beauchamp will play for the Bucks Summer League team in Las Vegas next month.

Advice: This news comes as no surprise, given Beauchamp's limited role during his rookie season. The 24th overall pick in last summer's draft, Beauchamp appeared in 52 games, averaging 5.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.9 3-pointers in 13.5 minutes. He'll have the opportunity to impress new head coach Adrian Griffin, and depending on how things go in free agency, there could be more minutes available to Beauchamp next season. Also of note is that he's headed to Greece to work out with teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo, which should only help Beauchamp in his quest to earn more playing time.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Today, 4:29 pm
  • Steps up in Game 3 win
Braun finished with 15 points (7-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 19 minutes Wednesday in the Nuggets' 109-94 win over the Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Advice: Nikola Jokic (32 points, 21 rebounds, 10 assists) and Jamal Murray (34 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds) did the heavy lifting for Denver on Wednesday, but Braun's contributions off the bench were essential while starters Michael Porter, Aaron Gordon and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope combined to go 7-for-21 from the field. Braun's own shooting performance looks like a major outlier -- he converted at a 49.5 percent clip from the field during the regular season -- but he may have earned himself a longer leash in head coach Michael Malone's rotation heading into Friday's Game 4 in any case. • Podium game? Christian Braun scores 15 in Game 3
Christian Braun made the most of his 19 minutes in Wednesday's Game 3 win over Miami, shooting 7-of-8 from the field and finishing with 15 points, four rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Advice: After scoring six points and playing 23 minutes total in the first two games of the NBA Finals, Braun stepped up in a big way Wednesday night. The 15 points are the most he's scored in a game since April 6, when the rookie matched that number in a regular season loss to the Suns. And that was a game in which Denver rested its entire starting five, with Braun playing 33 minutes. Having a night like this on the NBA Finals stage is a far bigger deal, especially with this being Braun's first double-digit scoring effort of the postseason. The rookie isn't offering much as a perimeter shooter, but his athleticism was a factor on both ends of the floor in Game 3. Braun will look to do more of the same in Game 4 on Friday.  NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 11:22 pm
  • Cody Zeller (foot) available for Game 3 of Finals
Cody Zeller (sprained right foot) will play in Game 3 against Denver on Wednesday.

Advice: As expected, Zeller will be available to play, and he'll likely see around eight minutes off the bench. He won't impact this game much other than giving Bam Adebayo a quick breather. NBCSportsEDGE.com Yesterday, 6:57 pm
  • Cleared to play Wednesday
Zeller (foot) is available for Game 2 of the NBA Finals against the Nuggets on Wednesday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Advice: As expected, Zeller has been upgraded from probable to available for a second straight game. He's played 15 minutes over the first two games of the series, totaling four points and seven rebounds. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:49 pm
  • Cody Zeller (foot) probable for Game 3 Wednesday
Cody Zeller (sprained right foot) is probable for Game 3 of the Finals on Wednesday.

Advice: Zeller played eight minutes in each of the first two games, and the Heat have been outscored by a total of 19 points when he's on the floor. He gives them a center when Bam Adebayo needs a break, but Zeller hasn't exactly been a positive factor for Miami thus far. Still, he should be able to suit up as the series shifts back to Miami. • Likely to play in Game 3
Zeller is probable for Wednesday's Game 3 against Denver due to a sprained right foot, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Advice: Zeller was also considered probable for Game 2 before being upgraded to available. The veteran big man is averaging 2.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.5 minutes across the first two contests of the series. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:12 pm
  • Dwight Howard: 'I'm not retired from the NBA yet'
Dwight Howard isn't ruling out a return to the NBA and wants to win a title with the Kings, according to Mark Haynes of The Observer.

Advice: Could Superman don his cape for one last ride? In a recent interview Dwight Howard said, "I'm not retired from the NBA just yet" and added that he "would love to help the Sacramento Kings contend for a title". Howard, whose career accomplishments include eight All-NBA selections, five All-Defense selections and three DPOY awards, last played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season as a member of the Lakers. Dwight won a ring with the Lakers in the 2019-20 bubble as well. This past year Howard has been playing professionally in Taiwan for the Taoyuan Leopards. NBCSportsEDGE.com Tuesday, 1:03 pm
  • No prob for D-Rob: Robinson sparks 4Q Miami rally
Duncan Robinson totaled 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting (2-of-3 3-Pointers) and added an assist across 17 minutes in Sunday’s win over Denver.

Advice: Robinson wasn’t on the court too much in this one, but he certainly made the most of his minutes. D-Rob started the fourth quarter, and to the untrained eye, it appeared Reggie Miller was out there wearing his jersey due to the speed of his scoring. Robinson racked up all 10 of his points in the first 2:16 of the quarter, acting as the catalyst for a 13-2 Miami run to take an 88-85 lead. Robinson and Miami’s other role players came to play after dreadful showings in Game 1, and they’ll look to carry that momentum into Wednesday’s Game 3 at home. NBCSportsEDGE.com Sunday, 11:03 pm
