  • Yogi Ferrell scores 13 points in start
Yogi Ferrell moved into the starting lineup in place of Seth Curry (shoulder) on Monday vs. the Thunder and scored 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting.

Advice: This was one of his best games in a while, as he racked up five assists with four rebounds, three steals, three triples and three turnovers in 34 minutes. Curry's injury is "minor," but if he misses more time, feel free to give Ferrell a look if you need a low-end point guard. He posted averages of 11.6 points, 4.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.6 triples on 40.3 percent shooting in 21 previous starts. Rotoworld.com 24 minutes ago
  • Kawhi Leonard posts 25-6-6 in rout of Cavs
Kawhi Leonard finished with 25 points, six rebounds, six assists, three steals and a blocked shot in 30 minutes on Monday against the Cavaliers.

Advice: About the only thing fantasy owners can complain about is the fact Leonard missed all seven of his 3-pointer attempts. He could have blown through the lane for an easy deuce most of the evening, but elected to go outside rather frequently. He still was 11-of-21 overall from the floor, so fantasy owners cannot complain too loudly. Rotoworld.com 28 minutes ago
  • Pau Gasol sharp in 21 minutes off bench
Pau Gasol hit five of his eight field goal attempts, including both of his 3-pointer tries, to finish with 14 points and four rebounds over 21 minutes in Monday's blowout win against the Cavaliers.

Advice: Gasol has been coming off the bench with Dewayne Dedmon starting, almost splitting the minutes. However, the veteran Gasol is the big man you want between the two, as he has much more scoring upside without losing much in rebounds. Gasol is also a solid option from behind the arc, hitting nine triples on 13 tries over the past five outings. Rotoworld.com 30 minutes ago
  • Nerlens Noel looks great in loss to OKC
Nerlens Noel stuffed the stat sheet on Monday vs. the Thunder with 15 points, eight rebounds, one assist, four steals and two blocks in 28 minutes.

Advice: There we go. Noel had a nightmare showing against the Raptors Saturday, but he's now posted two monster lines over his last three games. As good as Seth Curry (shoulder) is, it may have helped Noel that the Mavs deployed two pass-first point guards in Yogi Ferrell and J.J. Barea tonight. He finished 6-of-12 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line and was even showing off his new mid-range jumper, so the future looks bright for Noel in Dallas. Rotoworld.com 31 minutes ago
  • Danny Green records four blocked shots
Danny Green misfired on six of his seven field goal attempts in Monday's win against the Cavaliers, but he ended up with four blocked shots and two steals.

Advice: Two of Green's swats came at the expense of none other than LeBron James, as that is the kind of night it was for the Cavaliers. Green at least dropped one in the bucket from behind the arc, his specialty, although he has struggled from the perimeter in March. Green has made just five of his past 23 triple attempts over the past seven games, so he isn't really helping any fantasy owners at the moment. Rotoworld.com 33 minutes ago
  • Wesley Matthews scores 15 points
Wesley Matthews scored 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting vs. the Thunder on Monday.

Advice: Dallas coach Rick Carlisle insists that Matthews is healthy, but he's in a brutal slump right now and was shooting 28.6 percent in March prior to Monday. Matthews added four rebounds, four assists, two triples and one steal in 37 minutes, but had to watch Russell Westbrook bury a game-winning shot in his face -- Devin Booker also hit a game-winner over Matthews this season. The Mavs are now 4.0 games behind the No. 8 seed in the West, so maybe the Mavs will start reducing Matthews' workload. Rotoworld.com 40 minutes ago
  • DeRozan drops 36 points in blowout win
DeMar DeRozan dropped 36 points in a blowout win over the Magic on Monday.

Advice: He cooled down on Saturday with 18 points vs. Dallas after a pair of 40-point games, but the Magic had no answer for him tonight. DeRozan shot 13-of-21 from the field and 9-of-14 from the line with three assists, two rebounds and one triple in 36 minutes. Toronto has won six games in a row and are just 0.5 games behind the Wizards for the No. 3 seed in the East, so expect DeRozan to keep eating the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:03 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis busy in Monday's win
Kristaps Porzingis scored 25 points with eight rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots and two steals in 37 minutes on Monday against the Pistons.

Advice: Porzingis had a disastrous outing March 14 against Indiana, but he has tightened things up in the past five games. Porzingis is averaging 19.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.6 blocked shots and 1.4 steals per game during the five-game span. He remains fairly safe to keep using in all fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:47 pm
  • Tyreke Evans (rest) ruled out Monday
Tyreke Evans is resting on Monday vs. the Grizzlies.

Advice: No surprise here -- Evans isn't allowed to play in back-to-back sets with the Kings in tank mode. With Arron Afflalo out for personal reasons, Buddy Hield and Garrett Temple are starting on the wings. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:41 pm
  • Garrett Temple starting Monday vs. Memphis
Garrett Temple is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Grizzlies.

Advice: Temple should do some heavy lifting with Arron Afflalo (personal) and Tyreke Evans (rest) in street clothes. While his role might be fairly significant for this game, he isn't someone to rely upon down the stretch. The Kings are likely to lean heavily upon their youth to get a jump on the 2017-18 season. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:35 pm
  • Kosta Koufos and Temple starting on Monday
Kosta Koufos is starting vs. the Grizzlies on Monday.

Advice: The Kings will start Darren Collison, Buddy Hield, Garrett Temple, Willie Cauley-Stein and Koufos, meaning Skal Labissiere will come off the bench. Koufos is going to be rested too much going forward to help fantasy owners, so leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:31 pm
  • Yogi Ferrell starting for Curry (shoulder)
Yogi Ferrell is moving back into the starting lineup on Monday vs. the Thunder with Seth Curry (shoulder) out.

Advice: Curry's injury is "minor," so Ferrell isn't a must-add player by any means. In 21 starts this season, Ferrell has posted averages of 11.6 points, 4.6 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.6 triples, but he's also shooting 40.3 percent from the field. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:23 pm
  • Danny Green (rest) will play Monday vs. CLE
Danny Green (rest) will return to the court for Monday's matchup with the Cavs.

Advice: Green sat out Saturday's game as a precaution, but he'll get back out there tonight, which will likely shift Jonathon Simmons back to the second unit. Gregg Popovich confirmed that he won't be resting any of his main guys for Monday's game, so if you own LaMarcus Aldridge, Kawhi Leonard or Pau Gasol, feel free to get those guys active. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:24 pm
  • Sean Kilpatrick (hamstring) probable Tuesday
Sean Kilpatrick (strained left hamstring) is being listed as probable for Tuesday's matchup with the 76ers.

Advice: Kilpatrick has spent the past seven games on the sidelines with the hamstring issue, but it sounds like he'll be back in action on Tuesday night. With Kilpatrick expected to be active, there won't be quite as many minutes available for guys like Randy Foye, Archie Goodwin and K.J. McDaniels. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:58 pm
    Injured

  • Carlisle says Wesley Matthews is feeling fine
Rick Carlisle said that Wesley Matthews is "feeling fine" healthwise, and he's confident Matthews will soon be able to bust out of his shooting slump.

Advice: Through the month of March, Matthews has only managed to connect on 28.6 percent of his shot attempts, and in general, efficiency has been a major issue for him this season. He's just not the same player he was prior to the Achilles tear, and while it's unlikely he'll be this bad for the rest of the season, he's simply not doing enough right now to warrant a standard league roster spot. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:24 pm
  • James Harden (wrist) practices Monday
James Harden (wrist) is practicing on Monday and will play vs. the Warriors on Tuesday.

Advice: He already said that he would play on Tuesday vs. the Warriors after aggravating his wrist on Sunday night, but it doesn't hurt to get more confirmation. Harden's owners should be in great shape with four games on the schedule this week. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:22 am

  • James Harden says he will play vs. Warriors
James Harden said he will play on Tuesday vs. the Warriors despite aggravating his left wrist on Sunday vs. the Thunder.

Advice: He left Sunday's game vs. the Thunder in the final minute after a hard a fall and didn't return, but he said that he's "good." Coach Mike D'Antoni hinted that Harden may get a maintenance day at some point, but not if Harden has anything to say about it. "It's something he's probably going to have to put up with the rest of the year," D'Antoni said. "It's a tendon. He jammed it. Hopefully, he's good. If he needs to rest, he'll rest and make sure he gets well, but knowing him, he wants to play." With Harden hoping to lock up the MVP Award, his fantasy owners shouldn't be too concerned. • Okafor says 76ers are being 'super cautious'
Jahlil Okafor said that the 76ers are being "super cautious" with his right knee.

Advice: He has missed two games in a row with right knee soreness and nine total games on the season, and there currently isn't a timetable for his return. "If we were like on the verge of trying to get a playoff spot or something like that, I could go out there and play," Okafor said. "But Coach Brown and all of our people behind the scenes don’t believe it’s necessary for me to play if my knee is feeling sore and stuff like that." This has been a lost season for Okafor and fantasy owners should've moved on a long time ago. Richaun Holmes and Shawn Long will continue to see a bump in value while he's out. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:39 am
  • Jordan Clarkson OK after hand injury Sunday
X-rays were negative on Jordan Clarkson's bruised fifth metacarpal on Sunday, and he returned to finish with 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists, going 4-of-16 from the field with one 3-pointer.

Advice: Clarkson dropped a career-high 35 points on Friday and he seems to have avoided any serious injury tonight, although he was ice-cold after returning. "He has the ability to be so dynamic," Luke Walton said before the game. "He’s been one of our more consistent players." His long-term outlook is terrific, and barring a setback owners can also expect him to be ready for Tuesday's game vs. the Wizards. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:42 pm
  • Tyreke Evans logs 21 minutes as starting SF
Tyreke Evans returned as a starter on Sunday with eight points, four rebounds, two 3-pointers and one assist in 21 minutes vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Evans was coming off a day of planned rest, but he recently said that he's "getting into a rhythm right now." He's worked to develop an outside shot, in order to reduce the wear-and-tear of constantly driving to the rim, but Sacramento is still going to limit him to under 30 minutes per game down the stretch. Throw in the random DNPs, and he's simply not an appealing fantasy asset. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:00 pm
  • James Harden double-doubles, tweaks wrist
James Harden put up a 22-point, 12-assist double-double during Sunday's win over OKC, but exited the game with 30 seconds left in the fourth after a hard fall on his left wrist, and did not return.

Advice: Harden added five boards, two triples and five turnovers through his 36 minutes of floor time, but this wrist issue is definitely a concern. Harden's left (shooting) wrist was heavily wrapped up in ice after the game, and he acknowledged during his post-game interview that he initially suffered the injury during Monday's win over Denver. Head coach Mike D'Antoni said it's something Harden will likely be dealing with the rest of the season, and admitted that he'll rest the MVP-candidate if need be. For now, we'll consider him questionable for Tuesday's game vs. Golden State, and if he's out, Lou Williams would likely emerge as the primary beneficiary. Stay tuned. • Danny Green expected to return Monday vs. CLE
Danny Green is expected to return on Monday after sitting out Saturday's game as a precaution.

Advice: It doesn't sound like the Spurs will rest any of their veterans for Monday's game vs. the Cavaliers, so owners can tentatively deploy them as usual. Dejounte Murray (groin) is the only player currently ruled out. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:55 pm
  • Tyreke Evans (rest) expected to start Sunday
Tyreke Evans (rest) is expected to be in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Clippers, according to Kings' Insider James Ham.

Advice: Evans will likely remain on a minutes limit today, and with 10 other games on the slate, fantasy GMs should have more attractive options to put on their active roster. With Evans active, guys like Buddy Hield and Ben McLemore will take a slight hit. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:33 pm
  • Kosta Koufos will rest on Sunday
Kosta Koufos will rest on Sunday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: This is the front end of a back-to-back set, meaning Koufos should be good for Monday's game vs. the Grizzlies. He's going to be rested way too much to help fantasy owners going forward. Skal Labissiere and Georgios Papagiannis should get a nice bump with Koufos out, but Labissiere is the better fantasy option. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:29 am
  • Jahlil Okafor (knee soreness) out Sunday
Jahlil Okafor (knee soreness) will not play on Sunday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: This will be his second game in a row on the shelf. He's dealing with soreness in his surgically-repaired knee, so the 76ers are going to be cautious moving forward. Richaun Holmes has been a must-own player for weeks, but Shawn Long is on the radar in deeper leagues after he scored a career-high 18 points with seven rebounds, one assist and two steals in 19 minutes vs. the Bulls on Friday. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:25 am
  • Wes puts up another dud
Wesley Matthews made 2-of-12 from the field and missed both free throws for four points with six rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks.

Advice: Besides the missed shots, that's a pretty good line for Matthews. Still, Matthews is now down to just 28.6 percent from the field in March, and a lot of that is because he's only made two shots at the rim for the entire month. The downside is outweighing the upside by a lot these days. He did go to the locker room today, but quickly returned. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:09 pm
  • Yogi Ferrell scores 10 points in 18 minutes
Yogi Ferrell scored 10 points with four rebounds, four assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 18 minutes against the Raptors on Saturday.

Advice: He did not check for the first 15 minutes of this game. Ferrell gave the Mavs a nice spark after a strong start, so it's fair to say Ferrell's minutes were likely going to be in the low double digits had he not played well early. He's a drop candidate in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:04 pm
  • Noel doesn't have a great start to experiment
Nerlens Noel scored three points in 25 minutes as a starter against the Raptors on Saturday, adding eight rebounds and one block.

Advice: Not a great start to the experiment. The Mavs want to figure out what Noel can do on the offensive end and how he can develop with Seth Curry, but it'll definitely be a work in progress with Curry not having the same PNR experience as his bro, Stephen. Still, Noel should be a lot better than this and should be starting in all standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:01 pm
  • Kawhi Leonard scores 29 points vs. Knicks
Kawhi Leonard scored 29 points during a 106-98 win over the Knicks on Saturday, adding five rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and four 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Advice: The minutes continue to be there and it looks like for the second year in a row, Kawhi will play more minutes per game after the break than he did before it. Leonard also hinted that he won't be seeing a decrease in minutes based on the tough upcoming schedule. "It's going to get us mentally prepared," Leonard said. This tough stretch starts against the Cavs on Monday as the Spurs start a four-game week. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:56 pm
  • Pau Gasol scores 19 points with 10 boards
Pau Gasol scored 19 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the Knicks on Saturday.

Advice: He's been kind of ridiculous as a jump shooter. Since returning from injury, Gasol has made 7-of-8 on corner treys to go with his 51.5 percent on above the breaks for his 24 total treys in 16 games. His defense isn't great, but his shooting has made the San Antonio offense especially tough to guard. Keep him rolling and hope he doesn't rest in back-to-back sets. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:52 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis has brutal night in SA
Kristaps Porzingis scored 12 points with five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and five turnovers in 26 minutes against the Spurs during a 106-98 loss on Saturday.

Advice: Alpha Unicorn is not going well. While it's not all on KP, the Knicks are running about as bad of an offense as you can think of these days -- yes, even if you watch the Magic. Porzingis was so bad in this game that he didn't even start the second half due to foul trouble. If you want to look at the glass half full, the Knicks may have to give Porzingis more reps as the top option because their team will likely look different next year. For now, he seems fairly safe to start this week. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:37 pm
  • Mavs in 'experimental mode' on Noel at C
Coach Rick Carlisle said the Mavs are in "experimental mode" with Nerlens Noel as a starting center.

Advice: In addition to Carlisle saying the Mavs "need" to look at Seth Curry as a PG, he added he wants to see how Curry and Noel go together. Noel did have a strong game on Thursday, so he should be getting some good run as the Mavs figure out where he is as a roll man with a 3-pointers guy. He should be starting in all formats tonight. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:11 pm
  • Sean Kilpatrick (hamstring) out again Sunday
Sean Kilpatrick (hamstring) will not play against the Hawks on Sunday.

Advice: This hamstring strain will cost him at least two weeks and the Nets haven't indicated much on his progress. Kilpatrick did have an interesting tweet about his time on the sidelines today. "Our road trips be memorable," Kilpatrick tweeted. "Learning, getting better, and analyzing the game of basketball." It sounds like he'll be studying a little while longer. K.J. McDaniels has seen some minutes while Randy Foye has slightly benefited. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 2:22 pm
    Injured

  • Danny Green (rest) will not play vs. Knicks
Danny Green (rest) will not play against the Knicks on Saturday.

Advice: It'll be his first game off since November and it comes on a non-back-to-back set. Green has played 28.5 minutes per game in March, which is by far the most he's played in a full month this season. With Green out tonight, Jonathon Simmons figures to get some extra run and could get some added value in garbage time tonight. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 11:44 am
  • Porzingis learning how to be a No. 1 option
With the Knicks limiting the minutes of their veterans, Kristaps Porzingis is learning what it takes to be the focal point of New York's offense.

Advice: KP got his first taste of being "The Man" Thursday in Portland when the Knicks rested both Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose. Porzingis' usage rate spikes when those two are not on the floor. KP scored a team-high 18 points and added nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and three blocks. "I’m trying to learn how to be the guy,’’ Porzingis said, "how to be the focal point or make a play or create a shot for myself. I’m still working on that, still have a lot to learn." Melo and Rose are expected to return Saturday vs. San Antonio, but will likely be rested for another game or two this season. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:14 am
  • Kosta Koufos scores two points
Kosta Koufos scored two points with two rebounds, one assist and one block in 14 minutes against the Warriors on Friday.

Advice: He'll get more rest going forward and there is just no upside in fantasy right now. Even if you're in a 40-man league, go pick up someone else. The Kings may even shut him down to look more at their youth. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:48 pm
  • James Harden scores 38 points with 17 dimes
James Harden scored 38 points during a 117-107 win over the Pelicans on Friday with 17 assists, seven rebounds, one block, two steals and five 3-pointers.

Advice: That's his NBA-high eighth 30-plus scoring game this month. Harden also scored or assisted on 77 points tonight, and he's currently on pace to set the record for that department this season with 57.7 points per game -- Nate Archibald has the record with 56.8 in 1972-73. He has scored at least 38 points in four straight and will get a big MVP-caliber matchup with Russell Westbrook Sunday afternoon. There will be triple-doubles. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:38 pm

  • Jordan Clarkson scores 33, hits 8 triples
Jordan Clarkson scored a career-high 33 points on 13-of-20 shooting with eight 3-pointers, five assists and two rebounds in 47 minutes in a 130-117 overtime win over the Wolves on Friday.

Advice: What a way to respond after he scored five points on 1-of-9 shooting vs. the Clippers on Tuesday. It's no secret that Clarkson is a high-volume shooter, but Walton said earlier this week that he wants him to find other ways to impact the game if his shot isn't falling. "He’s too good of an athlete. He’s one guy who loves to compete, but you can’t get locked in and focus on the fact you can’t make any shots," Walton said. "That’ll come eventually. Get into someone on defense, make some steals, make some passes, take a charge, do something." Clarkson has been a beast since the Lou Williams trade and should be owned in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:26 pm
  • Kosta Koufos starting vs. the Warriors
Kosta Koufos is starting vs. the Warriors on Friday.

Advice: Koufos was rested on Wednesday vs. the Bucks, but should see his normal workload tonight. We still like Skal Labissiere's outlook going forward and Koufos could get more DNPs down the stretch, so Koufos belongs on the wire in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:16 pm
  • Tyreke Evans resting on Friday
Tyreke Evans will rest on Friday vs. the Warriors.

Advice: This decision is coming from the Kings, as Evans just said that he feels "better than ever with my knee." With the Kings tanking, he's going to pick up too many DNPs to help most fantasy owners. Buddy Hield and Ben McLemore should be busy tonight. Rotoworld.com Friday, 5:43 pm
  • Jahlil Okafor (knee) out against the Bulls
Jahlil Okafor (knee soreness) will not play against the Bulls on Friday night.

Advice: The team will give him treatment on his sore knee during the game. Okafor's right knee soreness has been ongoing for most of the past 12 months and there's a good chance he misses additional time. Richaun Holmes should start and play big minutes as a must-start option in fantasy -- he's a strong DFS play, of course. Shawn Long should back him up with some Dario Saric at the five, as well. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:36 pm
  • Jahlil Okafor doubtful for Friday
Jahlil Okafor (knee) is unlikely to play against the Bulls on Friday.

Advice: His knee soreness won't go away and coach Brett Brown made it sound like he won't have Okafor. "It think if you made me guess right now, it’s going to be doubtful that he plays," Brown said. If Okafor is out, Richaun Holmes should get big minutes as a starter with Shawn Long backing him up. Okafor isn't worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 2:49 pm
  • Carlisle calls Yogi a utility player
Coach Rick Carlisle said Yogi Ferrell can be great as a "utility player."

Advice: This confirms Carlisle's talk of the Mavs playing Seth Curry more at the point. Ferrell only played 16 minutes on Thursday and that was because Curry played a lot of two. It's possible Ferrell's minutes drop even more going forward, so he's a drop candidate in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:38 am
  • Sean Kilpatrick (hamstring) ruled out Friday
Sean Kilpatrick (hamstring) will not play Friday vs. the Wizards.

Advice: This will be the sixth consecutive game Kilpatrick has missed. He should be left on waivers in all leagues. K.J. McDaniels has been the biggest beneficiary of late. McDaniels has played over 20 minutes in each of Brooklyn's last two games and posted season-highs in both points (16) and rebounds (8) Thursday night in a blowout victory over the Suns. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:58 am
    Injured

  • Jahlil Okafor (knee) a GTD for Friday vs. CHI
Jahlil Okafor (right knee soreness) is listed as questionable and will be a game-time decision Friday night in Chicago.

Advice: Okafor got hit on the outside of his troublesome right knee in Wednesday night's the loss to OKC. Okafor was unable to participate in shootaround on Friday morning. All indications from the Sixers and coach Brett Brown point towards Okafor being closer to "doubtful" than "questionable." We will have to wait until later this evening for confirmation. If Okafor does not play, Richaun Holmes will draw the start and would see plenty of minutes. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:26 am
  • Tyreke Evans says he 'feels better than ever'
Tyreke Evans says he feels "better than ever with my knee."

Advice: Evans is averaging only 22 minutes per contest and has sat out six of the Kings last 11 games. However, he believes he can handle a more significant workload. "I’m still maintaining," said Evans. "I feel better than ever with my knee. No pain, just playing free." Evans will be an unrestricted free agent this summer and is eager to prove he still has plenty left in the tank. "A lot of teams know I had tough injuries so they want to see how I’m moving, how I’m playing every night." Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:55 am
  • Kristaps Porzingis scores 18 points vs. POR
Kristaps Porzingis scored a team-high 18 points during a 110-95 loss in Portland on Thursday, adding nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and three blocks.

Advice: The Knicks did not use Derrick Rose (foot), Carmelo Anthony (knee) and Lance Thomas (hip) in this game, so KP was the main man. In his minutes without Rose and Melo this year, Porzingis has a 26.6 usage rate while his rebounding rate and efficiency are similar, so he will be taking plenty of shots if those guys remain out. Also, Porzingis was asked about missing time earlier this month, and he kind of laughed it off. With the Knicks almost certainly going to be eliminated this weekend, it's certainly possible they rest KP. All his owners can do is just plug him in there and hope he's not going to rest. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:45 pm
  • Nerlens Noel puts up big stat line
Nerlens Noel scored eight points with 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks against the Clippers on Thursday.

Advice: That's more like it. Noel played terrific defense on Blake Griffin throughout this game, so that should help coach Rick Carlisle play him big minutes. He only played 19.0 minutes per game over his last three, but now that should change after this important win. Noel should start trending up and flirt with early-round value. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:02 pm
  • Wes Matthews scores five points
Wesley Matthews made 1-of-8 from the field for five points with four rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer against the Clippers on Thursday.

Advice: He just is stuck in one of his brutal slumps again. In his last five, Matthews made just 28.9 percent from the field with averages of 6.6 points, 3.0 boards, 3.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.0 treys. The Iron Man has some of the longest slumps among NBA starters, so some fantasy owners may want to just leave him on the wire until he snaps out of it. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:54 pm
  • Yogi Ferrell scores just five points
Yogi Ferrell scored five points off the bench against the Clippers on Thursday, adding two rebounds, one assist, two steals and one 3-pointer in 16 minutes.

Advice: It's not looking great for Yogi right now. Coach Rick Carlisle said he wants to get a longer look at Seth Curry at the one, and obviously the Mavs can't use Ferrell at the two for more than a handful of minutes. It was a fun ride, but Ferrell is a drop candidate in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:50 pm
  • Danny Green vanishes in 22 minutes Thursday
Danny Green disappeared vs. Memphis on Thursday with four points, two assists, one turnover and no other stats to his credit in 22 minutes.

Advice: We're more than 85 percent through with the regular season, so anyone owning Green should be inured to occasional duds. He's not worth owning in most points leagues, but continues to eke out value in most roto formats. Owners should at least be spared DNP-CDs given his modest playing time and the Spurs' continued pursuit of the No. 1 seed. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:47 pm
  • DeMar DeRozan scores 40 in win at Miami
DeMar DeRozan scored 40 points during a 101-84 win in Miami on Thursday, adding six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 36 minutes.

Advice: He just scored 42 points on Tuesday to make this the first time he's scored 40-plus points in consecutive games in his career. The Raptors have had tremendous success when DeMar drops 40, going 8-0 in those instances. DeRozan did tweak his ankle earlier in the game, but obviously it wasn't affecting him too much. The Raptors are playing solid ball again with a four-game winning streak to put them just 0.5 games behind the third-seeded Wizards. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:20 pm
  • Yogi to the bench
Yogi Ferrell will come off the bench against the Clippers on Thursday.

Advice: He did receive his Western Conference Rookie of the Month for February, but Ferrell won't get to start against Chris Paul. He hasn't played well for a few weeks now, so he was shaping up to be a drop even before this news. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:38 pm
  • Nerlens Noel starting; Yogi Ferrell to bench
Nerlens Noel will start and Yogi Ferrell will come off the bench against the Clippers on Thursday.

Advice: The Mavs will go with Noel as a start for just the second time. He blew up for 15 points and 17 boards in his first start, so hopefully coach Rick Carlisle plays him more than his 17 minutes from Tuesday. Get him in your lineup. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 5:36 pm
  • Mavericks were cautious with Noel in blowout
Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said Nerlens Noel only played 17 minutes vs. the Warriors on Tuesday due to the blowout.

Advice: "[Noel] did a lot of good things [Tuesday] night, but I’m not going to play a guy coming off a sore knee meaningless minutes in a blowout," Carlisle said. "So if you’re asking for garbage minutes, that ain’t gonna happen." Carlisle added that Noel's knee is "doing really well," and it's worth noting that he should be looking at a nice workload on Thursday vs. DeAndre Jordan and the Clippers. He's averaging 9.5 points and 7.1 rebounds and 22.5 minutes through 10 games with the Mavs, but he should start trending up soon. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 6:25 am
  • Kristaps Porzingis scores team-high 24 points
Kristaps Porzingis started at center on Wednesday and scored a team-high 24 points (8-of-17 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs) with three 3-pointers, seven rebounds, one steal, one block and zero turnovers.

Advice: It was an interesting move from New York, but Porzingis barely avoided fouling out (thanks to multiple fouls attributed to other players), and Rudy Gobert destroyed the Knicks with 35 points on 13-of-14 shooting. Porzingis' recent Achilles injury hasn't been an issue since his return, which is the key for fantasy owners, and he's going to get his stats whether he's starting at center or power forward. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:53 pm
  • Garrett Temple comes off the bench
Garrett Temple scored 12 points with three rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Advice: It's tough to count on any Kings vet right now with how the front office finally is getting to play the youth. Temple can remain on the wire in just about all fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:03 pm
  • Tyreke Evans scores 18 points
Tyreke Evans scored 18 points with three rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 21 minutes against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Advice: He did not play in the previous two games and will continue to be rested going forward. Evans will be a free agent this summer and it'll be interesting to see who pays up for him with all of his injury history. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:00 pm
  • Jahlil Okafor plays 17 minutes in return
Jahlil Okafor scored six points with two rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Advice: The Thunder went right at him and Okafor continues to have a bullseye on him when he's out there. Okafor's right knee could be a factor for his subpar play, and interestingly today is the one-year anniversary of when he had surgery. The 76ers will probably manage him the rest of the way, so he's really not worth owning in standard leagues until he proves otherwise. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:36 pm
  • Garrett Temple to bench on Wednesday
Garrett Temple will come off the bench on Wednesday.

Advice: Arron Afflalo is getting the start tonight, and this effectively erases Temple's faint fantasy appeal. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:31 pm
  • Tyreke Evans (ankle) will play vs. Milwaukee
Tyreke Evans (ankle) will play vs. the Bucks on Wednesday.

Advice: Evans went scoreless in 14 minutes his last time out, and even if his ankle has fully recovered he's a dubious fantasy option at this stage of the season. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:13 pm
  • Kosta Koufos (rest) will not play Wednesday
Kosta Koufos (rest) will not play Wednesday against the Bucks.

Advice: It's a home game for the Kings, so they'll give their fans a look at the youth today. Georgios Papagiannis had a productive weekend on the road and should be looking at minutes in the 20s. He's a sneaky guy to use in fantasy, especially with how the Kings are giving him the ball. Koufos is not worth owning in most fantasy leagues anymore. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:46 pm
  • Jahlil Okafor (knee) will start on Wednesday
Jahlil Okafor (knee) will start Wednesday vs. the Thunder, with Richaun Holmes coming off the bench.

Advice: Okafor will be returning from a one-game absence, and his return to action will result in fewer minutes for Holmes. Okafor is good for some points and boards, but he typically doesn't offer much on the defensive end and turnovers have been an issue as of late. He's more of a deep league guy, while Holmes should be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:08 pm
  • Sean Kilpatrick out again for Thursday
Sean Kilpatrick (hamstring) will not play against the Suns on Thursday.

Advice: This will be his fifth game out of the lineup. The Nets have taken a look at K.J. McDaniels lately, giving him 21 minutes on Tuesday with 11 points. Archie Goodwin has also got some run, but these two are tough to own in most leagues. Caris LeVert should also benefit. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:00 pm
    Injured

  • Jahlil Okafor (knee) questionable Wednesday
Jahlil Okafor (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Thunder.

Advice: Okafor injured his knee Sunday night and did not suit up on Monday. He will be evaluated before Wednesday's game to determine his status. If Okafor does not play, Richaun Holmes, who is coming off a monster 24-point, 14-rebound effort, will draw another start. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:14 am
  • Nerlens Noel plays 17 minutes in ugly loss
Nerlens Noel played just 17 minutes and finished with 14 points, seven rebounds and a block in Tuesday's blowout 112-87 loss to the Warriors.

Advice: Noel was quiet on Sunday against the Nets and failed to score, and then was the victim of the blowout tonight. He should be fine going forward, as long as he's healthy enough to play. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:48 pm
  • Wes Matthews back in a funk on Tuesday
Wesley Matthews, who had 15 points and two 3-pointers on Sunday, hit just 3-of-8 shots for eight points, three boards, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Warriors.

Advice: If you throw out Sunday's mini-explosion against the lowly Nets, he's scored a grand total of 13 points in three of his last four games. The emergence of Seth Curry has hurt him, but if he doesn't show improvement immediately, owners may have to think about hitting the waiver wire, since fantasy seasons are on the line here. He's hit just 33 percent of his shots over his last four games, although the rest of his line was pretty good tonight. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:37 pm
  • DeMar DeRozan scores 42 points in OT win
DeMar DeRozan scored 42 points in a 122-120 overtime win over the Bulls on Tuesday.

Advice: DeRozan helped the Raptors claw their way back from a 15-point fourth quarter deficit. He shot 17-of-38 from the field, adding seven rebounds, eight assists, one steal, one block and one triple in 43 minutes. He had two 40-point games in his career entering this season, but now he has five this campaign which is a franchise record. DeRozan should eat the rest of the way with Kyle Lowry's (wrist) timetable still up in the air. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:11 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis posts 18 and 11 in return
Kristaps Porzingis (thigh) finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 32 minutes in Monday's loss against the Clippers.

Advice: Porzingis looked pretty sharp in his return from a thigh injury and as expected he did not play with any kind of a minutes cap. In fact, he played all the way down to the final minute despite a lopsided score for most of the second half. With Porzingis back it was Lance Thomas sliding back to a reserve role. It appears safe to plug Porzingis back into the active fantasy lineup in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:08 pm
  • James Harden does his usual thing
James Harden scored a game-high 39 points with 11 assists, seven rebounds, four steals and four 3-pointers in Monday's win against the Nuggets.

Advice: The Beard has 38 or more points in three straight games and four of his past five outings. He has managed three or more 3-pointers in five of his past six contests while rolling up two or more steals in four straight and six of the past seven. Harden continues to post huge fantasy totals and the Rockets will not rest their players until they're locked into a playoff seed, so the good times will continue to roll. • Jahlil Okafor, Henderson out Monday vs. ORL
Jahlil Okafor (knee) and Gerald Henderson (rest) have been ruled out for Monday's matchup with the Magic.

Advice: Okafor tweaked his knee on Sunday, and while a sore knee doesn't seem like a very serious issue, it wouldn't be all that surprising to see him miss more than a few games given how the 76ers tend to handle injuries. With Okafor on the sidelines, Richaun Holmes will return to the starting five, and Henderson's absence will open up some opportunity for guys like Timothe Luwawu. For now, we'll be considering Okafor questionable for Wednesday's game in OKC. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 2:41 pm
  • Sean Kilpatrick, Harris out Tuesday vs. DET
Sean Kilpatrick (left hamstring) and Joe Harris (shoulder) will not suit up for Tuesday's game against the Pistons.

Advice: With both these guys set to spend Tuesday night on the sidelines, and Jeremy Lin (ankle) looking unlikely, Brook Lopez will be tasked with the heavy lifting on offense, and there will be more minutes available for guys like Caris LeVert and K.J. McDaniels. LeVert could be someone to consider using as a streamer on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 1:36 pm
    Injured

  • Kristaps Porzingis (thigh) will play Monday
Kristaps Porzingis (bruised left thigh) will play Monday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Porzingis was a full participant during Sunday's practice, and there's been no discussion of a minutes limit, so owners can feel confident plugging Porzingis back into their starting lineup following a one-game absence. With Porzingis back in action, Lance Thomas will likely return to the bench, and he'll lose most of his value with the demotion to the second unit. Rotoworld.com Mar 20, 11:43 am
  • Pau Gasol efficient from floor in win
Pau Gasol scored 22 points to go along with nine rebounds, two steals and a pair of 3-pointers in Sunday's 118-102 win against the Kings.

Advice: Gasol's 22 points were his most since he posted 24 points in a game in Sacramento back on Nov. 16. Apparently there is something about the purple and slate gray that he enjoys seeing on the other side of the court. He has bagged six 3-pointers over the past four games and he is averaging 8.3 rebounds per game during the span. Gasol plays with a bit of a minutes cap to preserve him for the postseason, but he continues to turn in decent stat lines for his fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 8:51 pm
  • Garrett Temple hot from the perimeter
Garrett Temple scored 15 points while hitting all three of his attempts from behind the arc in Sunday's 118-102 loss in San Antonio.

Advice: Temple matched his best shooting night since returning from a long-term hamstring injury, and this was just the second time he played in a back-to-back situation since coming back March 5. The last time he struggled in both ends of the back-to-back, but he obviously excelled this time around. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 7:17 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis (thigh) practices Sunday
Kristaps Porzingis (bruised left thigh) practiced on Sunday and said he hopes to play vs. the Clippers on Monday.

Advice: The official game notes have Porzingis listed as 'out' but that's usually meaningless, since game notes tend to parrot whatever happened in the previous game. Both KP and coach Jeff Hornacek have been optimistic that he'll play on Monday, so all signs are pointing in that direction. Check back for more concrete updates following shootaround. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 3:15 pm
  • Tyreke Evans, Afflalo, McLemore out Sunday
Tyreke Evans (ankle), Arron Afflalo (personal) and Ben McLemore (personal) will all sit out vs. the Spurs on Sunday.

Advice: Malachi Richardson (hamstring) is also out tonight, so once again it will be all hands on deck for the Kings. Darren Collison, Ty Lawson and Buddy Hield should do the heavy lifting, with some help from Langston Galloway and Garrett Temple. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 2:27 pm
  • Jahlil Okafor (knee) travels w/ team to ORL
Jahlil Okafor (sore right knee) will travel with the Sixers to Orlando, where he will continue to be evaluated.

Advice: Okafor exited Sunday's game with the issue, which has plagued him all season, and just because he's traveling to Orlando doesn't mean he'll play vs. the Magic. Owners should check back for updates after Monday's shootaround. If he is ruled out, expect Richaun Holmes to soak up most of his minutes, with Shawn Long backing him up. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 2:21 pm
  • Wes Matthews scores 15 points
Wes Matthews scored 15 points with five rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes against the Nets on Sunday.

Advice: He was in a rough slump since the break, so luckily he got the slump-busting Nets today. Hopefully, this game could get Matthews going, but his shot total is also down because there are more mouths to feed with J.J. Barea getting in the mix. Matthews is usually a mid-round guy, but his month-long slump makes him a questionable player to own in standard leagues. He only has three games this week, too. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 12:36 pm
  • Nerlens Noel doesn't score vs. Nets
Nerlens Noel did not score with four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 21 minutes against the Nets on Sunday.

Advice: The pace was not his friend in this game and Noel was in foul trouble. As a Mav, he was flirting with early-round value before this game, so there's no need to worry even though he's coming off the bench. The Mavs will need his pick-and-roll defense against the Warriors, Clippers and Raptors this week. Start him. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 12:28 pm
  • Yogi Ferrell fizzling out
Yogi Ferrell scored eight points with two rebounds, five assists, one steal, three blocks and one turnover in 22 minutes against the Nets on Sunday.

Advice: The defensive stats are nice, but that's now four straight games with single-digit scoring and he's really not doing much in other areas. Ferrell is really tough to trust in most leagues right now, especially with just three games this week. Plus, J.J. Barea turning it up doesn't help either. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 12:24 pm
  • Kristaps Porzingis listed as out in notes
Kristaps Porzingis (thigh) is listed as out in the Sunday game notes for Monday's game against the Clippers.

Advice: To be very clear here, this does not mean he is out for this game. Porzingis said he is expected to play in this game and coach Jeff Hornacek also added he thinks Porzingis had a good chance to play. We should have another update Monday afternoon before fantasy owners have to set their rosters. Rotoworld.com Mar 19, 10:50 am
  • James Harden scores 40 in triple-double
James Harden had another triple-double against the Nuggets during a 109-105 win on Saturday, scoring 40 points with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, eight turnovers and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Advice: That extends his NBA record seven 40-point triple-doubles in one season. Harden also has four consecutive triple-doubles, and it does help he's camping out under the rim more often these days. The Rockets are not expected to rest their players until they are locked in to their seed to allow them to grow as a team and develop chemistry. That is music to the ears of Harden fantasy owners. • Pau Gasol struggles vs. Memphis
Pau Gasol was quiet vs. the Grizzlies on Saturday, scoring eight points with nine rebounds and one assist.

Advice: He made 3-of-5 shots from the field, his ninth game of the season with five or fewer FGAs. The good news is that he only played 24 minutes, so that means he has a good chance of playing on Sunday vs. the Kings on the second night of a back-to-back set. It also helps that the Spurs are 3.0 games behind the Warriors for the top seed in the West. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 9:11 pm
  • Kosta Koufos scores nine points
Kosta Koufos scored nine points with six rebounds, two assists and one block in 23 minutes against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: He is playing through a right hand injury and does have two fingers taped. According to the Kings broadcast, Koufos said he is going to have to play through it for a month or so. Perhaps this will be a reason to hold Koufos out of games as the season winds down. With Georgios Papagiannis turning in his best game as a pro, we'll likely be seeing Koufos' playing time start to fade. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 2:40 pm
  • Garrett Temple plays 28 minutes
Garrett Temple scored seven points with three rebounds, four assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: He took some friendly fire from Kosta Koufos to the groin, but he was OK after a trip to the bench. While Temple did start, his time in the first unit likely won't be lasting very long. Even after a decent line today, he's not going to be worth owning in most leagues with the Kings going so young these days. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 2:38 pm
  • Sean Kilpatrick (hamstring) out again Sunday
Sean Kilpatrick (strained left hamstring) will not play against the Mavs on Sunday.

Advice: The Nets continue to rule him out early and it's possible he's out for several games given how careful the Nets are. He should be dropped in most fantasy leagues. Meanwhile, Caris LeVert is trending up and played both ends of a back-to-back set, so he's a decent pickup right now. K.J. McDaniels is also getting minutes. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 2:02 pm
    Injured

  • Garrett Temple back in the starting lineup
Garrett Temple will start against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: With Arron Afflalo out, there should be a decent amount of minutes going to Temple tonight. He's still not going to be a fantasy option with the Kings going young. Malachi Richardson (hamstring) returning would also take minutes from him Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 11:47 am
  • Evans, Afflalo, McLemore ruled out Saturday
Tyreke Evans (ankle), Arron Afflalo (personal) and Ben McLemore (personal) have all been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Thunder.

Advice: Evans has been battling a nagging ankle injury. He played just 14 scoreless minutes on Wednesday. There will obviously be plenty of minutes available for the Kings guards that are active on Saturday. Darren Collison sat out Wednesday's game to rest but will be back on Saturday. Buddy Hield should see plenty of playing time. Ty Lawson, Garrett Temple and Langston Galloway will also likely log additional minutes. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 9:33 am
  • Porzingis (thigh) expects to play Monday
Kristaps Porzingis (thigh) said he believes his injury is "nothing serious" and that he plans on playing Monday night vs. the Clippers.

Advice: KP sat out Thursday's game after injuring his thigh in Tuesday's win over the Pacers. "This is just one game, the muscle swelled up. That’s how I see it right now. Nothing serious," said Porzingis. He also quickly dismissed the notion that he would be shut down at some point later this season. "If I’m healthy, I want to be out there. Not even a question." This is encouraging news for fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com Mar 18, 6:43 am
  • Jordan Clarkson scores 21
Jordan Clarkson scored 21 points in 38 minutes vs. the Bucks on Friday.

Advice: He made his third consecutive start at point guard and got a few extra minutes with Nick Young and D'Angelo Russell getting ejected in the third quarter. Clarkson shot 8-of-20 from the field with five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and four triples, and he's thriving in his new role with averages of 18.5 points, 3.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.0 triples in his previous two starts. Coach Luke Walton hinted before the game that his lineups aren't set in stone going forward and that he wants to keep trying out different combinations, but Clarkson should be owned in most leagues right now. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 10:50 pm
  • James Harden drops 41-14-11 line in loss
James Harden had no help in a 128-112 loss in New Orleans on Friday, scoring 41 points with 14 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Advice: Nobody else in the starting lineup scored more than eight points for the Rockets in this blowout loss. Harden played the entire third quarter and may have played the entire fourth, but the Rockets were just too far behind and coach Mike D'Antoni pulled the plug. This makes sense for the Rockets because they'll have to play in Denver on Saturday. Harden set the franchise record for most assists in a season, and he did it with almost a month to spare. He also has the most 40-point triple-doubles in a single season with six. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 9:49 pm

  • DeMar DeRozan gets tough shots all night
DeMar DeRozan made just 3-of-9 from the field and all eight from the line for 14 points during an 87-75 win over the Pistons on Friday, adding eight rebounds, six assists and two turnovers in 36 minutes.

Advice: Defenses know exactly what's coming and they continue to trap and double-team DeRozan these days. He's always been contested way too much and is getting close to 80 percent of his shots contested these days. DeRozan is trending down due to so little help, but he could bust out at any moment. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 8:24 pm
  • Wes Matthews' rough second half continues
Wes Matthews (calf) returned from a one-game absence during a 116-74 loss to the 76ers on Friday, making 1-of-8 from the field for three points with two rebounds, two assists and two turnovers in 24 minutes.

Advice: He looked frustrated throughout the game and maybe he wasn't 100 percent. Matthews is not exactly having a great post-break run so far, averaging 8.5 points, 3.5 boards, 2.9 dimes, 1.1 steals and 1.5 treys on 30.5 percent from the field in his previous games since the break. We've seen some brutally long slumps from Wes, so a couple more bad games could make him a drop candidate. Considering it's the fantasy playoffs in many leagues, he already is for shallow formats. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 6:45 pm
  • Nerlens Noel scores nine in Philly return
Nerlens Noel came off the bench in Philadelphia on Friday with nine points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 19 minutes.

Advice: He received a standing ovation when he checked into the game and responded with a wave to the crowd. Noel's playing time likely would've been higher had this game been closer, so don't read to much into those 19 minutes. He has been third-round player in his previous 10, so keep him rolling. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 6:32 pm
  • Nerlens Noel off bench; Dirk starting at C
Nerlens Noel will come off the bench against the 76ers on Friday.

Advice: It'll be Yogi Ferrell, Seth Curry, Wes Matthews, Harrison Barnes and Dirk Nowitzki in the starting lineup. Noel should still be getting some decent minutes against his former team, so he should be in all fantasy lineups. He's a viable DFS play, too. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 3:53 pm
  • Wesley Matthews (calf) will start on Friday
Wesley Matthews (right calf strain) will start Friday night vs. Chicago.

Advice: Matthews ends up missing just one game; he sat out Wednesday night after injuring himself on Monday. Dorian Finney-Smith will get bumped back to the bench with Matthews back in the mix. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 2:41 pm
  • Sean Kilpatrick (left hamstring) out Friday
Sean Kilpatrick (strained left hamstring) will not play against the Celtics on Friday.

Advice: He suffered the injury on Tuesday night and will miss his second straight game. The Nets said they wanted to get a look at K.J. McDaniels on Thursday, and he came through with nine points in 18 minutes. McDaniels is probably going to be looking at around 20 minutes tonight while Caris LeVert could also benefit. Although, be careful of LeVert being on a back-to-back and having limited minutes. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 11:21 am
    Injured

  • Jordan Clarkson starting; SG is undetermined
Jordan Clarkson will get another start against the Bucks on Friday.

Advice: Coach Luke Walton said he didn't know who he would start next to Clarkson. We've seen D'Angelo Russell, Nick Young and David Nwaba get starts, but nobody has really stepped up. Walton also said on Thursday it would be "by committee" at guard, so it's likely to change on a nightly basis. Clarkson should be owned in standard leagues while Russell's fantasy owners have to hang tight for him to snap out of this brutal funk. Rotoworld.com Mar 17, 11:11 am
  • Wes Matthews (calf) expected to play Friday
Wesley Matthews (right calf strain) is expected to play Friday night vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Matthews injured himself on Monday night and did not play in Wednesday's win over Washington. On Thursday, coach Rick Carlisle did say he was hopeful that Wes would return for the Chicago game and it appears that is the case. Matthews' return will bump Dorian Finney-Smith back to the bench.
