  • Paul George scores 25 points vs. Suns
Paul George scored 25 points during a 109-94 win over the Suns on Wednesday, adding 13 rebounds, one assist, three steals and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes.

Advice: The Pacers were really attacking during this game for a season-high 41 attempts from the line. George himself made 8-of-10 and after the game he said he wanted to put pressure on the refs to make the calls. He also had an interesting comment on the heels of a blowout loss with Klay Thompson's 60 points. "We're the opposite of the Warriors. We got drivers," George said on the Suns TV broadcast. Now that George is back and healthy, expect him to fill up the box score. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:06 pm

  • Jeff Teague double-doubles vs. Suns
Jeff Teague scored 19 points with five rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes against the Suns on Wednesday.

Advice: The was his first productive game since Paul George returned to the lineup on Sunday. Teague thrived without George on the year and probably won't be as good now that he's back. On the year, Teague's usage rate is 3.0 higher without George while his efficiency is up 7.6 true shooting percentage points, as well. Still, he should flirt with top-50 value going forward. • Eric Bledsoe scores 15 points in 29 minutes
Eric Bledsoe made 5-of-13 from the field for 15 points with three rebounds, four assists, three steals, one block and four turnovers during a 109-94 loss to the Pacers on Wednesday.

Advice: There is some talk of Bledsoe improving on his jumper, but he hasn't made any shots outside of the paint in his last two games. On the positive side, he did make all five at the charity stripe to get him to a career-high 81.5 percent from the line with his career-high 5.6 attempts. He hasn't quite been up to par on the year, but he just needs to stay healthy. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:50 pm

  • Alex Len fouls out yet again
Alex Len fouled out in 16 minutes against the Pacers on Wednesday with nine points, two rebounds and two blocks.

Advice: That's two foul outs in a row for Len. The Suns are playing Tyson Chandler more than expected, which has caused Len's playing time to slide to 18.0 minutes per game over his last three. He could still have some value for his 1.5 blocks per game on the year and solid percentages, but Len is trending down a bit. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:45 pm

  • Brandon Jennings starts w/ Rose (back) out
Brandon Jennings started in place of Derrick Rose (sore lower back) on Wednesday, posting 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes.

Advice: This was Rose's first DNP of the season and it's unclear how long he'll be sidelined, though an MRI came back clean and he's listed as day-to-day. Jennings can be found on most 12-team waiver wires, so owners in need of a cheap PG should keep him in mind for temporary value. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:40 pm
  • Dragan Bender doesn't score
Dragan Bender did not score in 11 minutes against the Pacers on Wednesday, but he had three rebounds and one steal.

Advice: The Suns continue to give Bender a look in the rotation. He's played seven games in a row, but has been very quiet on the stat sheet with 3.2 points per game on the year. Before the game, coach Earl Watson said Bender has gained eight pounds of muscle since the start of the year, so we have our first in-season muscle watch in a while. Bender has very little value. • Kyrie Irving scores 28, Kevin Love scores 21
Kyrie Irving made 9-of-17 field goals and 6-of-6 free throws en route to 28 points on Wednesday, adding four 3-pointers, six assists and two rebounds in 30 minutes.

Advice: The Knicks were giving up a ridiculous 50.6 points in the paint over their past five games, highest in the NBA, but the Cavs did most of their damage from long range tonight -- they shot a stunning 22-of-40 as a team (55.0 percent). Kevin Love added four triples as part of his 21-point evening, James Jones scored nine points on 3-of-3 from beyond the arc, and the Cavs rolled to an easy 126-94 victory. • Deron Williams scores 20 vs. Kings
Deron Williams scored 20 points with two rebounds, six assists and three 3-pointers during a 120-89 loss to the Kings on Wednesday.

Advice: The chances for an injury on Williams are as high as anyone, but he's playing some good ball right now. Williams should be picked up in all leagues and his owners can just figure it out when he goes down. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:32 pm
  • Patrick Beverley ties career-high w/ 12 dimes
Patrick Beverley tied his career-high with 12 assists on Wednesday, adding 10 points, seven rebounds, three steals and a pair of 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Advice: Bev shot 4-of-9 from the field and his five turnovers are the only smudge on an otherwise pristine line. One of his caveats in fantasy leagues has always been a lack of assists from the PG position, but so far this season he's averaging a career-high 3.9 dimes per game, which should hit four per game after tonight. Pick him up if you need a guard. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:30 pm
  • Salah Mejri gets in foul trouble vs. Kings
Salah Mejri played 11 minutes in a start for Andrew Bogut (knee) against the Kings on Wednesday, scoring two points with seven boards.

Advice: Foul trouble kept his minutes down tonight, which isn't a surprise against DeMarcus Cousins. Mejri should be looking at more playing time in the next week, so he may have some short-term value in 16-team leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:22 pm
  • Brandon Ingram logs 33 minutes off bench
Brandon Ingram shifted to the bench on Wednesday and picked up 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting, seven rebounds, two 3-pointers, one assist, one steal, one block and five turnovers in 33 minutes.

Advice: Injuries to both Jose Calderon (hamstring) and D'Angelo Russell (knee) have thrust more ball-handling duties to Ingram, who is averaging 1.8 assists and 1.5 turnovers this season. The Lakers have used him to bring the ball up court even at full strength, so it's a skill they clearly want the rookie to develop. Lousy FG percentages and middling counting stats continue to drag down his value, but he's an intriguing pickup if you're looking for rest-of-season sleepers. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:22 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins fills it up for Kings in win
DeMarcus Cousins scored 24 points during a 120-89 win over the Mavs on Wednesday, adding 14 rebounds, seven assists, three blocks and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He's been consistent on the glass with at least nine boards in each of his last 12 games. Cousins is also blocking more shots with at least three in each of his last three. With Boogie, it's always been about his usage rate and he ranks third with his 36.5 (Westbrook, Embiid), which is actually more than last year to go with a bump in efficiency. The trade rumors won't go away for Boogie, but he's going to dominate regardless. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:18 pm
  • Garrett Temple fills it up in garbage time
Garrett Temple scored 17 points with three rebounds, three assists and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Mavs on Thursday.

Advice: This was a garbage-time special with Temple scoring 11 points in the fourth. He has been in the rotation and he did play 14.8 minutes in the first half tonight, but his usage has been tiny all season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:09 pm
  • Ben McLemore gets 21 minutes
Ben McLemore played 21 minutes in a start against the Mavs on Wednesday with nine points, one rebound and one 3-pointer.

Advice: It wasn't the best game, but at least the Kings starters had success tonight after B-Mac was a DNP-CD in his previous three. Maybe McLemore can get another chance, especially with how coach Dave Joerger had his back in the offseason. He's only a pickup in very deep leagues for now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:06 pm
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo triple-doubles in win
Giannis Antetokounmpo triple-doubled again during a 115-107 win over the Blazers on Wednesday, scoring 15 points with 12 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and four blocks.

Advice: That's triple-double No. 2 on the season. While the points, assists and boards are cool for Russell Westbrook, Antetokounmpo has been absurd on the defensive stats with 2.2 blocks and 2.3 steals per game. Only David Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon and Gerald Wallace have averaged 2.0 blocks and 2.0 steals in a season. Giannis' high dimes tonight also get him over the 6.0 per game threshold. He's currently the No. 3 player in standard leagues and isn't going anywhere for a long, long time. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:00 pm
  • Ben McLemore, Kosta Koufos will start vs. DAL
Ben McLemore will start next to Darren Collison, Rudy Gay, Kosta Koufos and DeMarcus Cousins against the Mavs on Wednesday.

Advice: McLemore was a DNP-CD in the last three games, so this is an interesting tweak for coach Dave Joerger. McLemore is nowhere near on the radar in most leagues, but maybe he can change that for deep leagues with a strong game tonight. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:33 pm
  • Salah Mejri will start against the Kings
Salah Mejri will start against the Kings on Wednesday night.

Advice: It'll be his third start of the season. Andrew Bogut (knee) is going to miss several games and at least 10 days, so Mejri is going to get some run. He played 29.5 minutes per game in his previous starts, so he may be on the radar as a short-term pickup in deeper leagues. Dwight Powell also benefits in a big way tonight. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:28 pm
  • Brandon Ingram moves to bench Wednesday
Brandon Ingram will shift to the Lakers' bench on Wednesday.

Advice: Ingram and Metta World Peace will be replaced by Jordan Clarkson and Marcelo Huertas, as coach Luke Walton looks to get more ball-handling and scoring into his first unit. Ingram should still play around 24-28 minutes, so his fantasy prospects doesn't change much with the benching. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:55 pm
  • Brandon Jennings will start Wednesday vs. CLE
Brandon Jennings will move into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cavs, with Derrick Rose (back) unavailable.

Advice: Per-36 minutes this season, Jennings is averaging 11.6 points, 8.6 dimes, 4.4 boards, 1.7 steals and 1.7 triples per contest, so he's certainly on the radar as a potential DFS punt play or streamer option with a favorable matchup against the Cavs.Daily Slant: At or near minimum price across the DFS industry, Jennings is a viable punt play in any format. He should see upwards of 27-29 minutes with upside to clear 30+, and although he'll see more run with ball-dominant players Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis, Jennings' ceiling remains very high with big playing time. Punting the PG spots with a Jennings/Marcus Smart duo makes it easier to afford guys like Harden, Cousins and Durant. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:17 pm
  • Salah Mejri listed as probable starter
Salah Mejri is listed as the probable starter for Wednesday against the Kings.

Advice: This is the expected move with Andrew Bogut (knee) out and going against DeMarcus Cousins. Mejri has played 29.5 minutes per start, averaging 5.5 points, 11.0 boards, 1.0 blocks and 2.5 steals. While he does get a nice bump for fantasy purposes, Dwight Powell should also get a huge bump off the bench. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:41 pm
  • Eric Bledsoe still working on his jumpers
Eric Bledsoe said he's worked on his jumper all summer.

Advice: "I know I can get to the rim," Bledsoe said. "Once I get [the jump shots] to fall, there’s going to be some problems." Bledsoe still only has a 41.5 effective field goal percentage on his shots on the season, but he's up to 48.5 eFG% in his last six. He's also been very busy over his last 10 with a team-high 29.1 usage rate in his 30.8 minutes per game. Expect plenty of big lines going forward. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:32 am

  • Brandon Ingram struggles in start at PG
Brandon Ingram made his first career start at point guard on Monday vs. the Jazz, but struggled with four points on 1-of-6 shooting with two rebounds, two assists and one block in 25 minutes.

Advice: He got into some early foul trouble and never really looked comfortable out there. Jose Calderon (hamstring) is out for several weeks in addition to Nick Young (calf), so the minutes are going to be there for the No. 2 overall pick, especially with his ability to play four positions for LA. He's a nice stash for the stretch run. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:09 pm
  • Paul George double-doubles in blowout loss
Paul George had 21 points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes Monday, but hit just 4-of-12 shots and didn't do much else.

Advice: He did hit 13-of-13 free throws, but the Pacers were embarrassed by the Warriors after shocking the Clippers on Sunday. The fact PG played in both games and played pretty well in them is a great sign. He missed three games with a sprained ankle before returning on Sunday. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:03 pm

  • Deron Williams scores 15 with 13 dimes
Deron Williams scored 15 points with 13 assists in Monday's loss to the Hornets.

Advice: It's his first double-double of the season, but he's only made a total of 12 appearances so far due to injuries. D-Will shot 6-of-18 from the field with one rebound and a pair of triples in 37 minutes, and coach Rick Carlisle said before the game that the PG has been cleared to consistently play minutes in the 30s. With Seth Curry hobbled by a knee sprain, D-Will is worth riding until the wheels inevitably fall off. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:18 pm
  • Paul George, C.J. Miles good to go for Monday
Paul George (ankle) and C.J. Miles (knee) will play Monday vs. the Warriors.

Advice: George returned from a three-game absence on Sunday and logged 34 minutes, while Miles got back from a six-game stint on the sidelines and was limited to 15 minutes. PG-13 will likely again be without a minutes limit tonight, while Miles should be able to get closer to the 20-minute mark. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:15 pm

  • Carlisle wants Williams to close out games
Rick Carlisle said that Deron Williams (calf) has been cleared to play minutes in the 30s, and he wants him on the floor to close out games.

Advice: Williams playing time has been steadily trending up ever since he made his return from the calf injury five games ago, and he actually got 31 minutes in his last time out. It sounds like Carlisle would like to get him closer to the 35-minute range, which will be nice for his fantasy value until he suffers his next inevitable injury. Rotoworld.com Monday, 11:28 am
  • Paul George leads Indy to road win in return
Paul George (sore left ankle) returned to action on Sunday with 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting, seven rebounds, five assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: George missed six of the Pacers' past seven games and he showed some rust early, going scoreless in the first quarter, but he quickly found his groove in an impressive road win. The offense ran through him extensively as the Pacers fended off the Clippers down the stretch, and the fact that he logged 34 minutes proves that he doesn't have any medical restrictions. • Brandon Jennings scores 19 points Sunday
Brandon Jennings came off the bench on Sunday with 19 points on 5-of-7 FGs and 7-of-7 FTs, adding three assists, one rebound and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

Advice: Jennings' contributions were crucial for New York tonight, but they're not enough to alter his outlook in most fantasy leagues. He made two triples against a Kings team that gives up the third-most per game (10.4), he hasn't scored double-digit points in consecutive games since Nov. 1-2, and he's committed four turnovers in three straight games. Leave him on the wire in most 12-team leagues. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:28 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins scores 36 points on 30 shots
DeMarcus Cousins went 9-of-30 from the field and 14-of-16 from the line on Sunday, finishing with 36 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, three blocks, one steal and just two turnovers in 43 minutes.

Advice: Cousins had a few 3-point attempts blocked late in the game but he still finished 4-of-10 beyond the arc. He's averaging a career-high 1.7 triples on 38.4 percent shooting, and at this point he's basically matchup-proof. One negative tonight is that he picked up another technical foul, giving him six techs in Sacramento's first 20 games. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:25 pm
  • Paul George, Miles may play reduced minutes
Pacers coach Nate McMillan cautioned before Sunday's game, "You don’t want to just throw [Paul George and C.J. Miles] out there and play them a bunch of minutes."

Advice: George (ankle) and Miles (knee) are both returning from extended absences in a tough road matchup vs. the Clippers tonight. Assuming they both play reduced minutes, Glenn Robinson III should be the primary beneficiary. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 5:59 pm

  • Paul George (ankle), Miles playing on Sunday
Paul George (ankle) and C.J. Miles (knee) will both play vs. the Clippers on Sunday.

Advice: The Pacers have a clean injury report tonight, which means that Kevin Seraphin (knee) is also available to play after an extended absence. It's obviously safe to fire up George in all formats, and Miles is a sneaky pickup given how well he played to start the season. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 4:03 pm

  • Eric Bledsoe scores 27 in loss to Warriors
Eric Bledsoe hit 10-of-19 shots and five 3-pointers on his way to 27 points, five rebounds, four assists and five steals in Saturday's blowout 138-109 loss to the Warriors.

Advice: You hardly hear Bledsoe's name this season or see him in the highlight shows, but he's killing it, averaging 22.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 2.4 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.4 3-pointers over his last five games. He's returning fourth-round value for the season in leagues that don't count turnovers, and his value appears to be climbing right now. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:42 pm

  • Deron Williams hands out 15 assists in win
Deron Williams hit just 3-of-11 shots, but had nine points, two rebounds, a season-high 15 assists and a steal in 31 minutes of Saturday's surprising 107-82 win over the Bulls.

Advice: After missing eight of nine games with a calf injury, Williams has played in five straight. And while we don't love his game or trust him, he's deserving of some attention right now. He's averaging 9.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 7.4 assists over his last five games, but is shooting just 34 percent and has just one steal, zero blocks and two 3-pointers over that stretch. If you are desperate for assists, Williams is worth a look. But you'll just have to hope he's not hurt again before you actually get him into your lineup. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:07 pm
  • Brandon Ingram gets 39 minutes
Brandon Ingram played 39 minutes with nine points, five rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one 3-pointer against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Advice: The Lakers are running out of guards. While he’s been starting at shooting guard in the previous two, Ingram played 49 of his minutes 77 minutes as a small forward. That may change with more guard minutes until the Lakers get some guys back. Ingram hasn't done too much on the stat sheet, but he's a stash in competitive leagues, especially with some solid play on defense. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:10 pm
  • Deron Williams will start against the Bulls
Deron Williams (calf) will start against the Bulls on Saturday.

Advice: He had his minutes increase in his last game, so Williams could get over 30 again tonight. He's a hold while he's healthy, but he's one of the most injury-prone players in the NBA. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:32 pm
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo scores 16 with 5x4
Giannis Antetokounmpo was up to his old tricks during a 112-103 victory over the Nets on Saturday, scoring 16 points with 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals, five blocks and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

Advice: That is his second 5x4 in his last three and third in his last six. Antetokounmpo matched his career high in blocks and his 2.2 per game on the year makes him just one of five players above the 2.0 plateau (Davis, Gobert, Whiteside and Turner). He's an incredible shot blocker with his wingspan and is a rim protector quite often, so blocking two per game could definitely happen this year. He's one of the most fun players to own in a long time with first-round value to go with it. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:29 pm
  • Deron Williams (calf) probable for Saturday
Deron Williams (left calf strain) is probable to play vs. Chicago on Saturday.

Advice: Williams appears to have finally put his nagging calf issue in the rear-view mirror. D-Will has seen his playing time and production increase in each of the Mavs four previous games, from 15 minutes and four points last Friday to 14 points in 29 minutes on Thursday. When healthy, Willims is a fantasy asset, especially for teams in need of point guard depth. Over the first five games of this season, Williams averaged 15.0 points, 5.8 assists and 2.4 3-pointers in 35 minutes per game. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:40 am
  • Patrick Beverley scores 11 points
Patrick Beverley scored 11 points with three rebounds, six assists, one steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Nuggets on Friday.

Advice: If not for garbage time, Beverley's minutes would have likely been more than his 29 from Thursday. Beverley does only have a team-low 12.0 usage rate, but the Rockets are very successful when he's on the court with his team-high 13.8 net rating. He's posting eighth-round value on the year and could hold that value. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:40 pm
  • Brandon Jennings only gets 19 minutes
Brandon Jennings scored two points with three rebounds, eight assists and four turnovers in 19 minutes against the Wolves on Friday.

Advice: Derrick Rose and Justin Holiday were both in a good groove, so the minutes were not there for Jennings tonight like they were on Wednesday. Obviously Rose isn't going to be on his game every night, so Jennings will see better days. Still, he's more of a desperate asset for a PG-needy owner in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:56 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins scores 28 points in loss
DeMarcus Cousins scored 28 points during a 97-92 loss to the Celtics on Friday, adding nine rebounds, three assists, one steal, four blocks and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: Boogie was bleeding above his eye and had to go back to the locker room in the fourth quarter. Cousins needed eight stitches after the game and looked fine after he was glued to close it in the fourth, so there's no concern he misses any action going forward. Cousins did have his four-game streak of scoring at least 30 snapped, but his averages over his last five are outstanding: 33.8 points, 12.4 boards, 2.4 assists, 2.2 blocks, 1.4 steals and 3.0 treys. He's a machine right now. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:52 pm
  • Brandon Ingram scores career-high 17 points
Brandon Ingram started at SG on Friday vs. the Raptors and scored a career-high 17 points on 8-of-16 shooting.

Advice: Here he comes. The Lakers are ready to set him loose and he played 35 minutes even though the game was a blowout -- no other starter played more than 24 minutes. Ingram added six rebounds, two assists and one trey, and his path to minutes has widened with his ability to play three different positions. With Nick Young (calf) out 2-4 weeks and D'Angelo Russell (knee) still out, Ingram is looking at minutes in the 30s for the foreseeable future. He's a nice pickup in most formats and he should be even better after the All-Star break. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:40 pm
  • Brandon Ingram starting at SG vs. Raptors
Brandon Ingram will start at shooting guard against the Raptors on Friday.

Advice: It's the same starting lineup as Wednesday with Jose Calderon, Luol Deng, Julius Randle and Timofey Mozgov. Ingram played a whopping 41 minutes in that start with a 13.0 usage rate, so maybe he gets more shots tonight. Ingram is worth a long look in DFS and is a pickup in competitive leagues with a ton of playing time headed his way while Nick Young (calf) misses 2-4 weeks. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:18 pm
  • Suns looking to get more dimes?
The Suns are looking to add more passing into their offense.

Advice: "It’s been stagnant at times," Eric Bledsoe said of the team’s passing. "But at the end of the day, everybody is happy with how the offense is going. The heart of our team is me, Brandon and Devin. We’re going to have the ball the majority of times." The Suns are 29th in dimes per game and lead the NBA in unassisted baskets per game. There shouldn't be much change overall, but more dimes could add more fantasy value to the Phoenix guards. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:33 pm

  • Paul George progressing, could play Sunday
Paul George (ankle) is expected to go through some practice this weekend and said he's been good enough to play in games.

Advice: "Being hurt and sitting out, little stuff like that nags on you," George said. "But that’s the only thing I’m hoping, that I can play without a tweak, where I have full strength where I can cut and be aggressive off the drive." He has been doing some lighter work in practice and said he even made 16 triples in a row on Wednesday. George has a good chance to play on Sunday. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:15 pm

  • Patrick Beverley gets 29 minutes
Patrick Beverley scored three points with seven rebounds, two assists, four steals and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday.

Advice: He only saw 0.5 minutes in the overtime frames, so maybe coach Mike D'Antoni didn't want to put too many minutes on Beverley during the front end of a back-to-back set. He hasn't shot the ball well in his last three with just three makes on 16 attempts, but Beverley is a hold in standard leagues. His minutes may be something to watch in Denver on Friday. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:45 pm
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo scores 23 in full line
Giannis Antetokounmpo went berserk during a 111-93 win over the Nets on Thursday, scoring 23 points with eight rebounds, eight assists, four steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in just 30 minutes.

Advice: The steals numbers are off the charts and it's moved Giannis to No. 3 in steals per game while he's also fifth in blocks per outing. Antetokounmpo made a season-high two treys in this game and hit his first corner trey, which make have lead to some post-game talk on his shooting. After the game, Giannis said he's been invited to work out with Dirk Nowitzki next summer and Giannis also talked about his shot. "My main focus is to shoot without hesitating," Antetokounmpo said. "That's my main focus right now. I don't care if it goes in or it goes out. I just shoot. I have nothing to lose. Just let it fly." If he develops a strong shot, no team is safe. • Kyrie Irving lone bright spot for Cavs
Kyrie Irving hit 8-of-19 shots, a 3-pointer and 11-of-12 free throws for 28 points, but added just two rebounds, two assists and four turnovers in Thursday's ugly loss to the Clippers.

Advice: This one was over early and the starters all sat for most of the fourth quarter. While Irving's scoring like an elite shooting guard, he doesn't have more than three assists in any of his last four games. LeBron James is really the distributor on this team, so Irving's low assists aren't all that surprising. But if he's not going to dish the ball, at least he's averaging 26.4 points on 52 percent shooting with 3.0 3-pointers per game over his last five. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:59 pm

  • Deron Williams gets 30 minutes vs. CHA
Deron Williams scored 14 points with three rebounds, eight assists and one 3-pointer against the Hornets on Thursday.

Advice: This is a very encouraging sign to see Williams get this much playing time on the second half of a back-to-back set -- he played 26 minutes on Wednesday. Williams is basically an injury waiting to happen, but he's worth a pickup if you have something to cut and need a point guard. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:13 pm
  • Salah Mejri gets 27 minutes in start
Salah Mejri played 27 minutes against the Hornets on Thursday with three points, 11 rebounds, one steal and one block.

Advice: Andrew Bogut (rest) did not play while Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles) is still out, so there were heavy center minutes up for grabs. The Mavs were being careful with Mejri earlier in the season due to some injuries, but they may play him more on the nights Bogut sits. Mejri is barely in the rotation when Bogut is active, so he's only a plug-and-plug or DFS punt. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 6:43 pm
  • Salah Mejri, Dorian Finney-Smith starting
Salah Mejri will get the start on Thursday.

Advice: Andrew Bogut is getting the night off tonight, so Mejri should find himself getting minutes in the low 20s. Dwight Powell should also get some minutes in the second unit and could be a better option. Powell has really struggled lately, though. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 3:53 pm
  • Deron Williams will start against the Hornets
Deron Williams (calf) will start against the Hornets on Thursday.

Advice: He played 26 minutes on Wednesday night, so the back-to-back factor is likely in play on his minutes tonight. Coach Rick Carlisle has rested Williams in the second half of a game before, so that's an option. Williams is a risky asset in standard leagues and is a tough target in DFS. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 3:52 pm
  • Deron Williams probable for Thurs vs Hornets
Deron Williams (left calf strain) is probable for Thursday's game against Charlotte.

Advice: Williams was able to play 26 minutes on Wednesday and is likely to see similar minutes on Thursday. He doesn't have a ton of upside, but D-Will is worth a look as a bottom-of-roster player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:06 am
  • Alex Len has another multi-block game
Alex Len had another single-digit scoring game on Wednesday with six points on 3-of-4 shooting, nine rebounds, two blocks, one steal and two turnovers in 23 minutes.

Advice: Tyson Chandler's return to the starting lineup has done Len no favors, but it's not all bad news. Len has seven straight games with at least two blocks, the longest streak by a Suns player since Jermaine O'Neal in 2012, and he's averaging 9.9 rebounds during that stretch. He's worth holding onto in most formats. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:54 pm

  • Jeff Teague scores 25 with eight dimes
Jeff Teague scored 25 points during a 131-109 loss to the Blazers on Wednesday, adding five rebounds, eight assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

Advice: The Pacers defense was a no-show in this loss, but at least their offense didn't suffer too much without Paul George (ankle). Teague was coming in with very little momentum, scoring just 16 points combined in his previous two. He'll get at least one more game without George in a matchup against Chris Paul on Sunday. CP3 held Teague to just seven points on Nov. 30, so it won't be easy for him. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:17 pm
  • Deron Williams (calf) plays 26 minutes Wed
Deron Williams (calf) finished Wednesday's game with nine points, eight rebounds and five assists in 26 minutes.

Advice: Williams' playing time is slowly creeping up, which is one bit of good news in the midst of a depressing season for the Mavs. With a 3-14 record they are dead last in the league, trailing even the 76ers (4-14), Nets (5-12), and Timberwolves (5-13). Williams has late-middle-round upside, but his injury-based risk makes him a borderline option in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:25 pm
  • Brandon Jennings scores 12 points
Brandon Jennings played 34 minutes against the Wolves on Wednesday with 12 points, two rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He played the entire fourth quarter while Derrick Rose played just 3.1 minutes in that frame. Jennings has seen his minutes fluctuate and only played 13 minutes on Monday. Although, Jennings could be looking at a bump in playing time if Courtney Lee (ankle) needs to miss time. He's more of a 14-team guy due to his shooting woes. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:54 pm
  • Brandon Ingram starts, plays 41 minutes
Brandon Ingram played 41 minutes as the Lakers' starting SG on Wednesday, finishing with eight points (1-of-9 FGs, 6-of-8 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.

Advice: Nick Young is out 2-4 weeks with a strained calf, and it looks like Ingram will continue to start in his absence. He was averaging 12.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 threes in two previous starts, and is worth a long look for short-term production and long-term upside. The fact that he logged 41 minutes tonight is reason enough to consider him. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:50 pm
  • Official: NBA postpones Kings vs. 76ers game
The NBA has officially postponed Wednesday's game between the Kings and 76ers due to unsafe court conditions.

Advice: A hockey game was played the night before and condensation led to excessive moisture on the court, reportedly because an arena employee forgot to turn down the temperature before the game. After a substantial delay, the game was finally postponed. It's unclear when the league will reschedule the game -- it could be as soon as tomorrow night (preempting a planned music concert), or during the Kings' road trip in January. Frustrated fantasy owners can only wait for the schedule-makers to announce a date. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:06 pm
  • Brandon Ingram starting at shooting guard
Brandon Ingram will start at shooting guard against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: Nick Young (calf) is going to miss the next 2-4 weeks, so Ingram could get a chance to take this job and run with it. He gets some comparisons to Kevin Durant, who also started at shooting guard in his rookie season. Ingram hasn't played too well in his rookie season, but he's worth a look in most leagues to see if he can heat up. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:26 pm
  • Brandon Ingram starting for Nick Young (calf)
Brandon Ingram will start Wednesday's game in place of Nick Young (calf).

Advice: Ingram will join a starting lineup that includes Jose Calderon, Luol Deng, Julius Randle and Timofey Mozgov. Lakers coach Luke Walton has expressed a preference to keep his second unit intact, but he doesn't have a choice here. Jordan Clarkson should also pick up extra minutes off the bench until Young is able to return in 2-4 weeks. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:26 pm
  • Kings-76ers game delayed, could be cancelled
The Kings vs. 76ers game has been delayed due to unsafe court conditions.

Advice: The game has been delayed for 20 minutes as the game ops people at Wells Fargo Center continue to mop up the floor, and a determination as to whether the teams can take the court tonight will be made after that time elapses. For what it's worth, 76ers CEO Scott O'Neal would not rule out the possibility of tonight's game being cancelled. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 4:07 pm
  • Kings-76ers game could be cancelled?
There's a chance that the Kings vs. 76ers game will be cancelled on Wednesday due to unsafe court conditions.

Advice: Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia is used to host both hockey and basketball games, and there's currently a problem with condensation on the court due to high humidity and ice below the floor. The games ops people have been vigorously mopping the floor for the past hour, and they're communicating with NBA officials to determine whether or not it is safe to use the court tonight. For what it's worth, a game has been cancelled in the past for a similar issue, and at the very least it's looking like tonight's game will be delayed. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 3:48 pm
  • Brandon Ingram leads Lakers in minutes
Brandon Ingram hit 4-of-10 shots for nine points, three rebounds, five assists, two steals, and a block in 29 minutes on Tuesday night.

Advice: Ingram tied Jordan Clarkson for the most minutes played by a Laker in Tuesday’s loss against the Pelicans. Ingram has now played at least 29 minutes in four consecutive games and has attempted double-digit shots in each of those contests. He could see some more playing time should Nick Young miss time. He is not a must-own player right now, but all signs are pointing in the right direction and he’s not a bad player to be holding right now. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:08 pm
  • Antetokounmpo scores 34 w/ monster line
Giannis Antetokounmpo matched his career-high with 34 points on 13-of-19 shooting in a 118-101 win over the Cavaliers on Tuesday.

Advice: He posted a monster line with 12 rebounds, five assists, five steals, two blocks, one triple and six turnovers, hitting 7-of-10 from the line. He's also outscored LeBron James in three out of his last four matchups with the Finals MVP. The 21-year-old superstar will be a top-five fantasy play the rest of the way Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:03 pm
  • Paul George (ankle) a possibility for Sunday
Paul George (sore left ankle, back) could return as soon as Sunday's game vs. the Clippers.

Advice: The Pacers only have two games in Week 6 and George has already been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the Blazers. George did not practice on Tuesday and coach Nate McMillan didn't provide much of an update. Expect Glenn Robinson III to have a heavy workload vs. the Blazers. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 4:37 pm

  • Boogie Cousins drops 36 & 20 in loss
DeMarcus Cousins hit 16-of-34 shots and a 3-pointer for 36 points, a season-high 20 rebounds, four assists, two steals, a block, five turnovers and five fouls in 40 minutes of Monday's OT loss to the Wizards.

Advice: Boogie is rolling, despite trade rumors, and has scored at least 32 points in four straight games and six of his last eight. He's averaging a ridiculous 32 points, 12.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.4 blocks and 3.2 3-pointers over his last five games, and the addition of a 3-point shot to his game has made him even more fun to own. Hopefully he can keep his head together for the entire season and avoid being traded, although rumors persist that he might be moved by Christmas. On a side note, Cousins may or may not have a small break in the tip of his middle right finger. It's swollen, but he says it's not bothering him, obviously. We're not sure if the attached tweet is properly worded, or if the author meant that there is no break. Either way, the Boogie express is in full effect. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:17 pm
  • Earl Watson praises Alex Len
Suns coach Earl Watson praised Alex Len for his rim protection.

Advice: "His timing is getting better," Watson said. "You get timing through experience. Practice can’t create that environment. You have to get in-game minutes." Len is averaging 9.6 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.6 blocks over his last five games, and it sounds like Watson wants to keep feeding him minutes even with Tyson Chandler back in the mix. He will be a little inconsistent, but could have a strong finish to the season once the Suns focus on player development. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:21 am

  • Joerger praises DeMarcus Cousins
Sacramento coach Dave Joerger praised DeMarcus Cousins for his efforts against the Nets on Sunday.

Advice: "[Cousins is] a difficult cover because he can play facing you or with his back to the basket, he can shoot a little bit, he can drive a little bit," Joerger said. "He creates a lot of contact and goes to the free-throw line. You look at that, and you say, how can you take him for granted? He had 37 points and 11 rebounds." Cousins has helped the Kings win three out of their last four games, passing Chris Webber for third place in team history in Sacramento-era scoring with 8,846 points in the process. • Patrick Beverley shoots 0-of-5 in 35 minutes
Patrick Beverley chipped in four assists, three rebounds and two blocks vs. Portland on Sunday, but he missed all five field goal attempts to finish with one point in 35 minutes.

Advice: Bev came in hot this season, shooting 53.1 percent in five games, but a drop-off was inevitable for the career 41.4 percent shooter. He's still worth a look if you need a low-end PG, and you can't tell by watching him play that he just returned from knee surgery. Rotoworld.com Nov 27, 9:11 pm
