  • Willie Reed (sternum) will play Tuesday
Willie Reed (bruised sternum) is available to play Tuesday vs. the Rockets.

Advice: Outside of the four games Reed started when Hassan Whiteside was sidelined, Reed is averaging 11.9 minutes as a reserve in the 28 games he has played off the Miami bench this season. Reed's return could cut into James Johnson's minutes, as Miami wouldn't need JJ to backup Whiteside. Rotoworld.com 27 minutes ago
  • Ryan Anderson (illness) doubtful for Tuesday
Ryan Anderson (illness) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's game vs. the Heat.

Advice: After playing at least 32 minutes in each of the Rockets first seven games in January, Anderson's minutes have dipped a bit of late. He played just 25 minutes last Friday and then 23 on Sunday. If Anderson is unable to play on Tuesday, Corey Brewer, Sam Dekker, Montrezl Harrell and Trevor Ariza would likely divvy up his playing time. Clint Capela is also slated to return on Tuesday, so that will help fill the frontcourt void left by Anderson. Rotoworld.com 37 minutes ago
  • Clint Capela (knee) will play Tuesday night
Clint Capela (knee) will play Tuesday night in Miami vs. the Heat, and will not have a minutes restriction.

Advice: Capela will make his return to the lineup after missing 15 games. Coach Mike D'Antoni said there will not be a minutes cap in place, but Capela has missed a month so it would certainly be surprising to see him play more than usual. Capela was averaging 24.5 minutes per game over Houston's first 28 games this season. Montrezl Harrell had played relatively well in Capela absence, but will now get bumped back to the bench. • Kelly Olynyk's aggressive play keys C's wins
The Celtics have asked Kelly Olynyk to be aggressive and look for his shot more often.

Advice: Olynyk had offseason surgery that kept him from participating in full basketball activities for the better part of six months. He is finally working his way back into optimal shape and has played well of late. He has scored at least 12 points in four of the Celtics last five games and has 41 points, 17 boards and six 3-pointers over his last two games. There is a chance he gets promoted to Boston's starting lineup, as coach Brad Stevens said, " I think he’s a good fit with Al (Horford)." Rotoworld.com 54 minutes ago
  • Clint Capela (knee) expected to play Tuesday
Clint Capela (knee) is expected to make his return to the lineup on Tuesday vs. Miami.

Advice: "I've been doing pretty good in the workouts by myself, sprinting, dunking. It all felt good," Capela said. He had been playing the best basketball of his career prior to the injury, which was initially projected to cost him 4-6 weeks. He is averaging 11.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks - all career-highs. Make sure he is not floating around your league's waiver wire, as he was returning mid-round value over the first two months of the season. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:00 am
  • Jokic leads offensive revival in Denver
The Nuggets have been one of the NBA's most efficient and effective offenses since sticking with Nikola Jokic as the team's starting center.

Advice: Over the last month, the Nuggets are top-10 in the league in field goals made, field goal accuracy, 3-point accuracy, 3-point field goals made. Jokic has been the centerpiece of the offense, and the engine driving them forward. Over his last 14 games, Jokic is averaging 19.2 points, 9.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists. He's been top-15 overall fantasy producer over this stretch. The sky is the limit for this kid over the second half of the season Rotoworld.com Today, 7:31 am
  • Darrell Arthur (knee): Tuesday status unknown
The availability of Darrell Arthur (knee) for Tuesday’s game at the L.A. Lakers is unknown.

Advice: Arthur missed his second consecutive game due to left knee soreness on Monday. He has missed a total of 10 games this season as a result of knee issues. "He only knows one speed," coach Mike Malone said. "When we (practice) hard he goes hardest. And his knee has a hard time withstanding that pounding. So I almost have to try to protect him from himself at times." Kenneth Faried played a season-high 33 minutes on Monday and would get a boost on Tuesday if Arthur is out. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:09 am
  • Courtney Lee unsure if he will come off bench
Courtney Lee is unsure if he will continue to come off the bench or return to the Knicks starting lineup.

Advice: "[Coach Jeff Hornacek] said it might just be for this game [Monday], it might be for a couple games. He was just saying we need to change something around," Lee said after the Knicks lost to the Hawks on Monday afternoon. Lee played just 21 minutes and was benched the entire fourth quarter. He is averaging only 6.5 points and shooting just 19 percent from 3-point territory over his last six games. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:03 am
  • Gary Harris (ankle): X-rays are negative
X-rays on Gary Harris' sprained right ankle came back negative, but Harris is not expected to be available on Tuesday when the Nuggets play the L.A. Lakers.

Advice: Harris has played just 17 of the Nuggets 38 games this season due to a variety of groin and foot injuries, and it appears he will miss at least one more due to this ankle sprain. The good news is that this injury seems relatively minor. "I don’t think this is nearly as serious or severe as the previous injury," coach Mike Malone said. Jameer Nelson and Will Barton will likely see a boost if Harris is unable to play. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:44 am
  • Jameer Nelson enjoys victory over the Magic
Jameer Nelson said he had "extra incentive" playing against his former team, the Orlando Magic, on Monday night.

Advice: Nelson left Orlando in 2014 but clearly isn't happy with the way the relationship ended. ""It just felt like certain people counted me out, but one thing I’m never going to do is count myself out," said Nelson. He finished with 18 points, four boards and four assists in 32 minutes on Monday. With Gary Harris (ankle) expected to miss Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers, Nelson could be in line for extra playing time on Tuesday as well Rotoworld.com Today, 6:36 am
  • Ty Lawson (ankle) probable for Wednesday
Ty Lawson (ankle) is expected to play Wednesday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: Lawson twisted his left ankle in the second half of the Sunday's game vs. OKC and was unable to return. However, it appears that the injury is minor and that Lawson "isn't expecting to miss" the Kings next game, which is Wednesday vs. Indiana. Stay tuned for a formal update from the team regarding his status. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:12 am

  • Jerami Grant blocks three shots in start
Jerami Grant started in place of Steven Adams (concussion) against the Clippers on Monday and scored nine points on 3-of-4 shooting.

Advice: Grant logged a team-high 34 minutes and added eight rebounds, one assist, three triples and three blocks, but the Thunder only play one more time this week against the Warriors on Wednesday. Unless you're looking to stream some blocks in that contest, it's best to leave Grant on the wire in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:38 pm
  • Russell Westbrook scores 24 points in loss
Russell Westbrook scored 24 points on 7-of-19 shooting with five rebounds, four assists, two steals, two triples and four turnovers in Monday's blowout loss to the Clippers.

Advice: It's amazing that a line like this can actually be called an off night, but that's how good Westy has been this season. He's still averaging a triple-double on the year, so his owners have nothing to complain about. He gets a matchup with Kevin Durant and the Warriors on Wednesday, but he struggled in their first meeting with 20 points on 4-of-15 shooting. He will still be a recommended DFS target for obvious reasons. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:35 pm
  • J.J. Redick scores 20 with five triples
J.J. Redick scored 20 points with five 3-pointers in Monday's win over the Thunder.

Advice: He shot 7-of-15 from the field in just 27 minutes, adding two assists, one rebound and two steals. Redick is rolling with averages of 19.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.6 steals and 3.8 triples over his last five games, but expect his numbers to take a hit when Blake Griffin (knee) returns in the near future. Chris Paul (sprained thumb) picked up an injury tonight, but Redick won't benefit as much if CP3 misses time because his usage rate, true shooting percentage and offensive rating are lower when CP3 isn't on the court. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:30 pm
  • Marreese Speights scores 23 w/ 10 boards
Marreese Speights scored a season-high 23 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 27 minutes in Monday's 120-98 win over the Thunder.

Advice: He scored 10 of his points in garbage time during the fourth quarter, but Speights was on fire all night, hitting 8-of-15 shots from the field and 4-of-4 from the line. Speights is a per-minute monster, but the problem is that he's only eclipsed the 20-minute mark one time in January (tonight). With Blake Griffin (knee) nearing a return, it's tough to get excited about this. We'll let you know if his role grows. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:24 pm
  • Austin Rivers scores 16 w/ six assists
Austin Rivers scored 16 points on 5-of-13 shooting in Monday's win over the Thunder.

Advice: He played impressive defense on Russell Westbrook and is thriving with the first unit. Rivers logged 35 minutes and added six assists, two rebounds, one steal and two triples, and he could have the ball in his hands a lot more if Chris Paul (sprained thumb) misses any time. Rivers' usage rate rises from 14.9 to 21.8 when Paul is off the court, so he looks like a solid pickup in addition to Raymond Felton. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:18 pm
  • Raymond Felton scores 15 on 7-of-7 shooting
Raymond Felton scored 15 points on a perfect 7-of-7 shooting in Monday's 120-98 win over the Thunder on Monday.

Advice: Chris Paul left the game with a sprained left thumb and did not return, so Felton started the second half and added six assists, three rebounds, one block, one steal and two turnovers in 27 minutes. X-rays were negative on Paul's thumb, but he is scheduled to have an MRI on Tuesday at which point we will know if he needs to miss additional time. Felton looks like a nice speculative pickup with averages of 10.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.8 steals and 0.7 triples in six previous starts this season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:13 pm
  • Jordan scores 19 w/ 15 boards, 4 blocks
DeAndre Jordan scored 19 points with 15 rebounds, two assists, two steals and four blocks in Monday's win over the Thunder.

Advice: He was coming off a monster 24-point game with 21 rebounds and two blocks on Saturday, so it's not a surprise that he demolished a Thunder frontcourt that was missing Steven Adams (concussion). He finished 7-of-8 from the field and a respectable 5-of-8 from the line in 30 minutes. Jordan has recorded 20+ rebounds four times through seven January games, but he will have his hands full on Thursday vs. the Wolves. In their previous meeting on Nov. 12, Jordan posted 18 points, 16 rebounds and a pair of blocks of steals. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:06 pm
  • Alec Burks fizzles in nine minutes
Alec Burks played just nine minutes and missed all four of his shots, failing to score a point in Monday's 106-101 win over the Suns.

Advice: Joe Ingles started for Rodney Hood (knee) and played well, and Joe Johnson was Joe Cool off the bench with 15 points and three 3-pointers, so Burks looks like the big loser in the Hood-injury sweepstakes. If you picked up Burks in hopes of a decent week, we'd recommend throwing him back and taking a flier on Ingles or Johnson, instead. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:16 pm
  • George Hill tweaks ankle in win over Suns
George Hill 7-of-18 shots and 1-of-8 3-pointers for 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes of Monday's win over the Suns.

Advice: He left late in the game with a sprained ankle, but it doesn't appear to be serious and he wasn't noticeably limping after the game. Injuries have been a huge problem for Hill this season, so check to make sure he's good to go against the Mavericks on Friday against the Mavericks. The good news is that he has a full three days to recover before Friday's game. If he's out, Shelvin Mack would benefit the most. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:07 pm
    GTD
  • X-rays negative on Chris Paul's thumb
X-rays on Chris Paul's left thumb came back negative.

Advice: This is awesome news because it means we can rule out any breaks. CP3 will have additional tests on Tuesday morning which will include an MRI, so hopefully we get more good news. For now, the Clippers have diagnosed him with a sprained left thumb and he should be considered day-to-day barring another update. If we learn that he will miss additional time, Raymond Felton and Austin Rivers will benefit the most. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:05 pm
  • Rudy Gobert goes for 18-17-4 in win
Rudy Gobert took advantage of the center-less Suns on Monday and racked up 18 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks in 36 minutes of a 106-101 win.

Advice: Gobert hit 8-of-12 shots and also had a steal, and we were simply a year too early on predicting his breakout season. It's happening before our eyes, as he's averaging 12.3 points, 12.4 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game. Tyson Chandler was out and Alex Len played just 21 minutes, leaving Gobert to roam free without much opposition tonight. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:04 pm
  • Joe Ingles scores 11 in start for Jazz
Joe Ingles started for Rodney Hood (knee) and hit 4-of-6 shots and three 3-pointers for 11 points, two rebounds, five assists and two steals in 34 minutes of Monday's 106-101 win over the Suns.

Advice: The Jazz play two more times this week, meaning Ingles should have at least a couple more starts in him with Hood out for at least a couple weeks. If you have dead weight you want to cut to take advantage of Ingles' new opportunity, go for it. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:00 pm
  • Chris Paul (sprained thumb) will not return
Chris Paul sprained his left thumb on Monday vs. the Thunder and will not return.

Advice: Paul banged knees with Russell Westbrook (CP3's knee is fine), but he also appeared to jam his thumb into Westy's side. The sprained thumb is likely something CP3 can play through since it's to his non-shooting hand, but we won't know for sure until after the game. The Clippers are leading by 17 points at half, so they might be playing it safe as well by holding him out. If he does need to miss time, both Raymond Felton and Austin Rivers will be worth picking up in standard leagues. CP3 finished with eight points, six assists, three rebounds, one steal and two triples. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:51 pm
  • Chris Paul (knee) goes to locker room
Chris Paul banged right knees with Russell Westbrook and was not happy when he left the game, and headed straight for the locker room with just over two minutes left in the first half of Monday's game.

Advice: CP3 might be fine, but his reaction (kicking the bench seats) and going straight to the locker room is a bit concerning. We'll get a halftime report on him and update his status, but as of now, CP3 should be considered questionable to return for the second half. If he's injured, a red-hot Austin Rivers gets even hotter, and Raymond Felton would see a big boost in playing time. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:38 pm
  • Kelly Olynyk scores 15 off Boston bench
Kelly Olynyk didn't replace Amir Johnson in the starting lineup on Monday, but did play through an ankle injury and hit 6-of-9 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points, nine rebounds, four assists and a steal in 26 minutes.

Advice: Olynk is playing well right now and appears to be on the cusp of starting for Boston. But even if he continues to come off the bench, he's averaging 14.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.2 3-pointers while shooting 64 percent from the field in 26 minutes a game over his last five. He's a hot pickup in fantasy right now, even if he never does crack Boston's starting five. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:36 pm
  • Jerami Grant will start vs. the Clippers
Jerami Grant will start against the Clippers on Monday.

Advice: Steven Adams (concussion) is out, but it was initially believed that Enes Kanter would move into the starting five after he was listed as a probable starter. Instead, the Thunder will go with a frontcourt of Grant and Domantas Sabonis to match up with the small-ball lineup of the Clippers. Grant is just a short-term option for owners in need of a couple blocks. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:27 pm
  • Jameer Nelson scores 18 points in 32 minutes
Jameer Nelson had 18 points, four rebounds, four assists, two 3-pointers, one steal and one turnover in 32 minutes on Monday.

Advice: Gary Harris sprained his ankle just three minutes into the game, which opened up extra playing time for Nelson, who has now scored in double-figures in three straight games. Harris is doubtful for Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers, so Nelson could be in line for an uptick in playing time. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:32 pm
  • Joe Ingles will start Monday vs. Phoenix
Joe Ingles will move into the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Suns, with Rodney Hood (knee) unavailable.

Advice: Hood is expected to miss the next two weeks of action, so Ingles is worth a look in most leagues if you've got someone to cut. In three starts this season, Ingles has compiled averages of 13.7 points, 4.7 boards, 4.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.0 triples per contest on 56.0 percent shooting. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:55 pm
  • Gary Harris (ankle) doubtful Tuesday vs. LAL
Gary Harris (right ankle sprain) is doubtful to play Tuesday vs. the Lakers.

Advice: "It is the same leg that his foot injury was on but this is separate," said head coach Mike Malone. "It is an ankle thing and he is doubtful for [Tuesday's game against the Lakers]." With Harris on the sidelines, Jameer Nelson could enter the starting lineup and Will Barton will see some increased opportunity with the second unit. Jamal Murray could also get into the rotation, although he only managed to get on the court for five minutes on Monday despite the game being a blowout. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:41 pm
  • Nikola Jokic pours in career-high 30 points
Nikola Jokic was unstoppable in the Nuggets blowout victory over Orlando Monday night, scoring a career-high 30 points to go along with 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals and a 3-pointer.

Advice: Jokic joins Carmelo Anthony as just the second Nugget to tally at least 30 points, 10 boards, five assists and three steals in a single game over the last 25 years. However, this performance isn't a complete surprise because, despite playing through a nagging wrist injury that may require offseason surgery, Jokic has been an absolute beast of late. He is now averaging 21.6 points, 9.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists over the Nuggets last seven games. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:32 pm
  • Clint Capela (knee) feeling good in workouts
Clint Capela (knee) said that he's been sprinting and dunking during recent workouts, and it all felt good.

Advice: Capela has been out of commission since Dec. 17, but he could return to the court for Tuesday's game against the Heat. The Rockets will make an official determination on his status following Tuesday morning's shootaround, but he's close enough to a return that he should be stashed in most leagues. He'll likely be eased back into things after the lengthy layoff, but once he's fully up to speed, Montrezl Harrell will lose most of his value. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:42 pm
  • Joel Embiid scores 22 points in 28 minutes
Joel Embiid played like an All-Star during a 113-104 win over the Bucks on Monday, making 4-of-9 from the field and 13-of-18 from the line for 22 points with 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals, one 3-pointer and five blocks.

Advice: He should've had a sixth block on a terrific swat on Jabari Parker, but the refs didn't feel the same way and called it a goaltend (video in link below). Embiid has gone to the line 32 times in 56 minutes over his last two and is arguably the most unstoppable center in the NBA these days. In the fourth, he had a 93.8 true shooting percentage, a 37.3 usage rate, a 145.1 offensive rating and 12 points in those 7.6 minutes. If you don't know, now you know. Trust The Process. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:35 pm
  • Jameer Nelson starts the 2nd half sans Harris
Jameer Nelson started the second half of Monday's game against the Magic.

Advice: Gary Harris suffered a right ankle injury just three minutes into the game and will not return, which prompted Nelson's move into the starting five. He has started in the past when Harris has hit the sidelines, so he could see a decent boost in value if Harris is forced into an extended absence, as should Jamal Murray and Will Barton. We'll let you know how Nelson does after the game. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:27 pm
  • Olynyk, Bradley will play Monday vs. Hornets
Kelly Olynyk (ankle) and Avery Bradley (Achilles) will play Monday vs. the Hornets.

Advice: Olynyk got tripped up by a ball boy during Sunday's practice and rolled his ankle, but luckily the ankle tweak won't force him to spend any time on the sidelines. Bradley is likely going to start tonight, which will send Marcus Smart back to the bench. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:57 pm
  • Gary Harris (ankle) will not return Monday
Gary Harris (right ankle sprain) will not return to Monday's game against the Magic.

Advice: Ugh. Harris just hasn't been able to stay healthy this season, as he's had some major issues with his right leg. He's now missed time with a groin and foot injury (both to his right leg), and it's looking like this new ankle injury could again force him to the sidelines for at least a few games. Will Barton and Jamal Murray will benefit sans Harris, with Barton offering a bit more upside. The only positive here is that X-rays came back negative, but we should get a rough timetable after he undergoes an MRI. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:45 pm
  • Gary Harris (groin) headed to the locker room
Gary Harris (right groin) is headed to the locker room.

Advice: Harris appeared to tweak his groin on a drive to the hoop, and after being evaluated on the bench, the Nuggets trainers decided to take him back to the locker room for further evaluation. It's worth noting that he was walking with a noticeable limp, which isn't the greatest sign. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:26 pm
  • Harris, Gallinari starting Monday vs. Magic
Gary Harris (groin) and Danilo Gallinari (ankle) will be in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Magic.

Advice: They were both listed as probable so no surprises here. Emmanuel Mudiay, Kenneth Faried and Nikola Jokic will join them in the starting five with Wilson Chandler heading to the bench. Feel free to get Harris and The Rooster active. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:26 pm
  • Evan Fournier (heel) out Monday vs. Denver
Evan Fournier (heel) will not suit up for Monday's game against the Nuggets, as expected.

Advice: He's currently without an official timetable to return, and it sounds like there's a good chance he'll spend the entire week on the sidelines. Jodie Meeks will draw the start in his place, and Elfrid Payton, Aaron Gordon, Serge Ibaka and Nikola Vucevic will join him in the starting five. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:47 pm
    Injured
  • Courtney Lee scores seven off bench
Courtney Lee scored seven points off the bench with two rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer against the Hawks on Monday.

Advice: After the game, Lee said he found out he was benched just before the game. In a halftime interview, Carmelo Anthony said Lee handled the benching like a pro and also made it seem like it was more of an experiment. Lee has also really fallen off as a shooter lately, making just 2-of-15 from deep in his last four -- he was leading the NBA in 3-point percentage last month. Lee is only a 16-team guy for now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:33 pm
  • Joel Embiid starting, Okafor to the bench
Joel Embiid (rest) will return to the starting lineup on Monday, sending Jahlil Okafor back to the bench.

Advice: Embiid was rested on the second leg of a back-to-back set on Saturday, but he'll be back in action with his usual 28-minute workload for MLK day. Nerlens Noel will be serving as Embiid's backup today, so Okafor could have a tough time finding meaningful minutes. Embiid, however, is a must-start guy every time he takes the court. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:37 am
  • Reed (bruised sternum) probable Tuesday
Willie Reed (bruised sternum) is probable for Tuesday's game vs. the Rockets.

Advice: Reed only plays minutes in the teens while Hassan Whiteside is healthy, but this does have a couple fantast implications. Luke Babbitt's minutes will take a hit with Reed back in the rotation and James Johnson won't have to spend a lot of time as the backup center. Reed is just a handcuff for Whiteside's owners in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:58 am
  • Ed Davis (sprained ankle) will play Monday
Ed Davis (sprained left ankle) is available to play on Monday vs. the Wizards.

Advice: He was considered questionable, but he said his ankle felt fine after warmups. Davis has played 21 or less minutes in three straight games, so he shouldn't be in many fantasy lineups. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:41 am
  • Courtney Lee will come off the bench
Courtney Lee will come off the bench on Monday vs. Atlanta.

Advice: The Knicks have been shredded on defense all season, so they're going to take their best wing defender out of the lineup. Sounds about right. Lee was a low-end asset to own before this news, so feel free to drop him for a hot free agent. With that said, he should still see a healthy dose of minutes Monday. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:27 am
  • Russell Westbrook triple-doubles vs. Kings
Russell Westbrook scored 36 points, with 11 rebounds, 10 assists, four steals and four 3-pointers in Sunday’s 122-118 victory over the Kings.

Advice: He shot the ball well today, hitting 11-of-21 field goals and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc, while recording his 20th triple-double of the season. He does have a tendency to turn the ball over a lot, but makes up for it by stuffing the stat sheet on a nightly basis. He remains the league’s leader with a 41.1 percent usage rate. The Thunder are 16-4 whenever Westbrook has triple-doubled this season. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:52 pm
  • Ty Lawson exits Sunday's game vs. OKC
Ty Lawson (ankle) twisted his left ankle and will miss the remainder of Sunday's game against the Thunder.

Advice: Lawson played 20 minutes and scored four points with four assists, one rebound and one steal before leaving the game. If he misses any time, Darren Collison and Garrett Temple will get a boost. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:22 pm
  • Nikola Jokic still dealing w/ left wrist pain
Nikola Jokic still doesn't have full range of motion in his left wrist, he continues to play through pain, and it's possible that he will need surgery after the season.

Advice: Jokic shed his wrist brace for Thursday's game and plans to play without it again on Monday, and the good news is that there's no suggestion of more DNPs. "I cannot go to push-up position," Jokic said. "[Doctors] said they could [perform surgery], but it wasn’t 100 percent that it would feel better." This isn't a comforting update for Jokic's owners, but he's been on fire lately and all signs point to him playing through his discomfort for the rest of the season. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 3:17 pm
  • Ed Davis (ankle) questionable Monday vs. WAS
Ed Davis (sprained left ankle) is a game-time call on Monday vs. the Wizards.

Advice: It's unclear exactly when Davis suffered this injury, but we should have a better idea on his status following Monday morning's shootaround. If he's out, Meyers Leonard would have the opportunity for some extended minutes off the bench, but he's too inconsistent to rely upon in standard settings. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 1:50 pm
  • Gary Harris, Gallinari probable for Monday
Gary Harris (groin) and Danilo Gallinari (ankle) are probable to play Monday vs. the Magic.

Advice: Harris got back to the court following a one-game stint on the sidelines on Thursday, and Gallinari has been playing through his ankle soreness, so both these guys should be in uniform on Monday night. Check back for official confirmation following Monday morning's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 11:59 am
  • Darrell Arthur (knee) out Monday vs. Magic
Darrell Arthur (knee) will not suit up for Monday's game against the Magic.

Advice: It's always something with this guy, and Monday will mark his second straight game on the sidelines. Kenneth Faried and Jusuf Nurkic will likely split his limited minutes, which doesn't mean all that much. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 11:48 am
  • Kelly Olynyk (ankle) doesn't practice Sunday
Kelly Olynyk rolled his right ankle when he was tripped up by a ball boy while going through some shooting drills on Sunday, and he was unable to participate in the remainder of the practice.

Advice: At the moment, It's unclear how severe this ankle injury is, but for now we'll have to consider Olynyk questionable for Monday's game against the Hornets. If he's out, his playing time will be divvied up between Jonas Jerebko and Amir Johnson. Check back for another update following Monday morning's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 11:19 am
  • Willie Reed (sternum) limited at practice Sun
Willie Reed (bruised sternum) was a limited participant during Sunday's practice.

Advice: "During the non-contact part, there was some soreness," Reed said. "All in all, I’m fine. We’re just going to see how it feels when you take a blow to it. That’s the biggest key." With Reed on the sidelines, James Johnson has been forced into heavy minutes, earning some run at the five-spot in small ball lineups when Hassan Whiteside goes to the bench. Reed isn't worth a roster spot anywhere. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 11:14 am
  • Clint Capela (leg) could return on Tuesday
Clint Capela (leg) could return on Tuesday vs. the Heat or Wednesday vs. the Bucks.

Advice: He has missed about one month of action, but the big man is scheduled to go through practice on Monday. It's fair to assume that Capela will have restrictions right out of the gate, but he shouldn't be sitting on your waiver wire with season averages of 11.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks. Montrezl Harrell is now a drop candidate in most leagues, while Nene loses a lot of value as well. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:11 am
  • Evan Fournier doesn't have a timetable
Evan Fournier (heel, foot) doesn't currently have a timetable to return.

Advice: "I was compensating a lot, so now it’s more than just the heel," Fournier said. "It’s just the bottom of the foot, period. It’s frustrating, man. I could probably keep playing like this, but it’s not getting any better and I’m playing [at] like 60 percent [of my ability]." This is the same injury that sidelined him for five games in a row earlier in the season, so don't expect him to play on Monday vs. the Nuggets or Wednesday vs. the Pelicans. His owners just need to hold onto him for now, while Jodie Meeks is worth a look if you need a short-term boost in triples and points. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:24 am
    Injured
  • Alec Burks will be in the rotation
Alec Burks said he's close to 100 percent after his eight-point game in 15 minutes on Saturday.

Advice: He said he's been waiting for this for "like a year" and he said he knew he was ready to play. Burks acknowledged he had a serious injury and he's still improving. He said he wanted to get to the rim more and he plans on doing that more as he gets more comfortable. With Rodney Hood (knee) possibly missing time, Burks is a speculative add in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 2:17 am
  • Joe Ingles scores eight points in 10 mins
Joe Ingles scored eight points with two rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 10 minutes against Orlando on Saturday.

Advice: He did not see much run in this contest, but Rodney Hood (knee) suffered a hyperextended knee tonight, so Ingles could be in for a larger role if Hood misses. In the five games that Hood has missed this season, Ingles is averaging 33.4 minutes, 15.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.6 steals, while making 17 3-pointers during that stretch. He can be considered a DFS value play if Hood is out. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:46 pm
  • Rudy Gobert grabs season-high 19 rebounds
Rudy Gobert scored 19 points with a season-high 19 rebounds, two assists and two blocks on Saturday against the Magic.

Advice: This was his 27th consecutive game with double-digit rebounds and he now has five double-doubles in the month of January. Gobert continues to have a great season, averaging career highs with 12.1 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game, as well as a 65.8 field goal percentage. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:24 pm
  • Dante Exum a non-factor vs. Orlando
Dante Exum scored two points in seven minutes with one assist in Saturday’s win against the Magic.

Advice: Exum appears to have fallen behind in Utah’s backcourt rotation. Alec Burks is back in the picture and played well tonight, so Exum could continue to struggle for playing time in the foreseeable future. He should not be owned in any format. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:18 pm
  • Alec Burks scores eight points in 14 mins
Alec Burks played 14 minutes and scored eight points with six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in Saturday’s 114-107 victory of the Magic.

Advice: Burks was recalled from the D-League on Jan. 12 and could hang around for a while, as Rodney Hood (knee) suffered a hyperextended knee in tonight’s game. He has only appeared in six games for the Jazz this season, but could see a larger role if Hood misses any time. He looked good tonight and can play multiple positions for Utah. That being said, for now, Burks can be left on waivers, but he is someone worth keeping an eye on. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:12 pm
  • Evan Fournier (foot) could miss road trip
Evan Fournier (foot, heel) could miss the remainder of the Magic's road trip due to the concern of his foot and heel injuries.

Advice: On top of being out Saturday, he could be out Monday and Wednesday. The interesting thing here is that it sounds like he has problems in two different areas on his right foot. His heel injury was a problem at the end of last month and cost him five games, so he could be looking at a similar amount of time off due to the aggravation. In the meantime, go ahead and add Jodie Meeks in competitive leagues for short-term value. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:09 pm
    Injured
  • Alec Burks will be in the rotation
Alec Burks will be in the rotation with Joe Johnson (rest) out on Saturday against the Magic.

Advice: We saw Burks get five minutes on Friday night, but he didn't play well on the offensive side. The Jazz loved him at times last year with some point guard minutes, but he's in a tight spot for minutes. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:49 pm
  • Evan Fournier (foot) out, Jodie Meeks starts
Evan Fournier (foot) will not play against the Jazz on Saturday and Jodie Meeks will start in his place.

Advice: Fournier is still battling through his heel injury from earlier this month and he just hasn't been right. The Magic are wisely going to rest him up to get him right, and hopefully he should be OK for Monday against the Nuggets. Meeks is worth a look as insurance in deep leagues while Mario Hezonja is on the radar in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:34 pm

  • Chris Paul scores 20 with 13 dimes in win
Chris Paul scored 20 points during a 113-97 win over the Lakers on Saturday, adding five rebounds, 13 assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: The Clippers are back and it obviously has a lot to do with Chris Paul. Since he's returned, they have won all four games with CP3 averaging 17.8 points, 6.0 boards, 12.3 assists, 2.8 steals and 1.3 treys. He's arguably the best point guard in fantasy when he's healthy. Also, there was a really sweet dime from CP3 to DeAndre Jordan (slow motion video in link below). Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:47 pm
  • DeAndre Jordan drops 24 & 21 with 9 dunks
DeAndre Jordan put on a dunking highlight reel against the Lakers on Saturday, making 12-of-13 from the field for 24 points with 21 rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 35 minutes.

Advice: If you liked dunks, this was the game for you. DJ dunked the ball an incredible nine times in this win with several beautiful lobs from Chris Paul. This was Jordan's seventh game with a 20/20 as a Clipper, which ties Elton Brand for the most in franchise history. It was also his 37th 20-plus board game to pass Kevin Garnett for the ninth most since 1983-84. He has the lob and rebounding things down pat. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:34 pm
  • Austin Rivers scores 15 points in start
Austin Rivers scored 15 points with one rebound, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer against the Lakers on Saturday.

Advice: He likely has the starting job locked up with his dad trusting him against small forwards of all sizes until Blake Griffin (knee) comes back. Rivers has been very effective in his last four, averaging 19.0 points, 3.8 boards, 4.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.0 treys. He'll be taking a big hit once BG comes back and only has three games for the upcoming week, so Rivers' value isn't the greatest going forward. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:26 pm
  • Raymond Felton scores 15 points vs. Lakers
Raymond Felton scored 15 points with two rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes against the Lakers on Saturday.

Advice: This wasn't really a garbage-time special for Felton in a very impressive game. He also played next to Chris Paul for eight minutes today, which is close to double his average in the 20 previous games they were paired together. Felton has been hanging around top-150 value in his last 10, but that's still close to his ceiling while CP3 is healthy. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:19 pm
  • Evan Fournier (foot) questionable vs. Jazz
Evan Fournier (sore right foot) is questionable to play against the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: He really doesn't look right since returning from his heel injury. In those five games, Fournier averaged 11.8 points, 3.6 boards, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.0 treys on 36.1 percent from the field. On a back-to-back set, it makes a lot of sense to just rest him before a revenge game in Denver on Monday. If he is out, Jodie Meeks would be thrust into the starting lineup while Mario Hezonja could add to his renewed role in the rotation. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 11:19 am
    Injured
  • Joel Embiid (rest) will not play Saturday
As expected, Joel Embiid (rest) will not play Saturday vs. the Wizards.

Advice: As had been the plan all along, the Sixers will sit out their budding star on the second night of a back-to-back. It will be interesting to see how coach Brett Brown handles the void left by Embiid. Nerlens Noel has found his groove playing with the second unit, and Brown may, therefore, choose to have Noel come off the bench Saturday as well. This means we may get a look at Jahlil Okafor, who has played just once this month. Richaun Holmes is the other candidate to draw a start. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:34 am
  • George Hill scores 22 w/ five 3-pointers
George Hill scored 22 points with five 3-pointers in Friday's blowout win over the Pistons.

Advice: He shot a blistering 8-of-13 from the field with four rebounds, one assist and one turnover, but only played 27 minutes due to the lopsided score. Hill is averaging 17.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.8 triples over his last four games since returning from a concussion, but all he has to do now is stay on the court. He's been a top-30 player in standard leagues when you don't factor in the games he's missed. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:09 pm
    GTD
  • Ty Lawson scores 17 points vs. Cavs
Ty Lawson scored 17 points with four rebounds, four assists and three turnovers in 26 minutes against the Cavs on Friday.

Advice: The Kings are really starting to ditch the two-PG lineups, which is going to hurt Lawson and Darren Collison, who scored 13 points with one rebound, four assists and two 3-pointers. Lawson is trending back down and is only a borderline asset in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:53 pm
  • Kelly Olynyk gets hot, scores 26 points
Kelly Olynyk was on fire against the Hawks on Friday, making 9-of-11 from the field for a season-high 26 points with eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Advice: He started the third quarter with coach Brad Stevens going with the hot hand after KO scored 18 in the first half. On top of that 100.0 effective field goal percentage, Olynyk's defense was very good on the low block to help Horford. Coach Brad Stevens lives on the hot hand, so Olynyk is going to be up and down. He's only worth an add if he was on your short list before this gem. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:03 pm
  • Russell Westbrook drops 19th triple-double
Russell Westbrook dropped his 19th triple-double of the season during a 96-86 loss to the Wolves on Friday, scoring 21 points with 11 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: This was actually a brutal game for him, making just 7-of-23 from the field and turning it over 10 times to give him the bad quad-double. Westbrook was asked about turning in his 19th triple-double to set a record for the most in a season since the merger. "It don't mean [expletive]. We lost," Westbrook said. For what it's worth, the Thunder are 15-4 when Westy drops a triple-double this season. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:52 pm
  • TTP: Embiid scores 24, 76ers win 3 in a row
Joel Embiid scored 24 points in a 102-93 win over the Hornets on Friday, adding eight rebounds, one assist, two steals and three blocks.

Advice: In case you missed it, he will not play on Saturday against the Wizards. Embiid has just been insane with at least 20 points in eight straight despite his minutes limit and going to the line 14 times helped him tonight. Plus, his 76ers now have the longest active winning streak in the Eastern Conference with three games. He's already elite in his rookie season. Just quickly on the off-court stuff, The Process also came out in the starting lineups to the WWE's Triple H's theme music and spit his water out like the wrestler does before matches (video in link below). Yes, this is about basketball. As always, trust The Process. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:36 pm
  • Kelly Olynyk starts 2nd half for Johnson
Kelly Olynyk started the second half in place of Amir Johnson on Friday vs. Atlanta.

Advice: Olynyk was rolling in the first half with 18 points and four treys, so coach Brad Stevens is going to go with the hot hand in the second half. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:27 pm
  • Joel Embiid on a 28-minute limit again
Joel Embiid (ankle) will have a 28-minute limit against the Hornets on Friday.

Advice: The 76ers will be limiting him for the foreseeable future and he is not expected to play on Saturday. Embiid has been awesome in his last seven games, posting a 37.9 usage rate and an 58.4 true shooting percentage -- also a 16.3 rebound rate. He could have a monster game tonight with the Hornets not having the personnel to stop him. Rotoworld.com Friday, 2:20 pm
  • Chris Paul has excused absence on Friday
Chris Paul had an excused absence during Friday's practice, but he will play vs. the Lakers on Saturday.

Advice: There's nothing to worry about here. CP3 continues to rack up elite fantasy value with extraordinary efficiency, including 4.2 assists for every turnover. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:09 am
  • Willie Reed (sternum) will not play Friday
Willie Reed (bruised sternum) will not play in Friday's game against the Bucks.

Advice: Reed is averaging 11.9 minutes in non-starts this season, backing up Hassan Whiteside. The Heat don't have another true center on the roster. With Reed not available on Friday, Udonis Haslem may see more minutes behind Whiteside. The more intriguing outcome, from a fantasy perspective, would be Miami playing small-ball, with James Johnson seeing additional minutes. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:46 am
  • Joel Embiid (ankle) remains probable Friday
Joel Embiid (ankle) went through shootaround and said he expects to play Friday vs. Charlotte.

Advice: Embiid said the ankle he tweaked on Wednesday night feels "fine." The plan is to play Embiid on Friday and then rest him Saturday. Embiid has scored at least 20 points in seven straight games and is averaging 23.4 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks over that stretch. Make sure he is locked in starting lineups for Friday. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:25 am
  • Nikola Jokic returned to action on Thursday January 12. Rotoworld.com Friday, 12:37 am
  • Nikola Jokic dominates in win over Pacers
Nikola Jokic put on another one of his clinics in London during a 140-112 win over the Pacers on Thursday, scoring 22 points with 10 rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He continues to sizzle as a passer with plenty of highlight-reel dimes and also has at least five in four straight. What really has made Jokic elite lately has been his remarkable 72.3 true shooting percentage in his last 13. He's posted a MVP Curry-like 64.8 effective field goal percentage on his 64 jumpers in that span to go with an ridiculous 71.9 percent on his shots from within eight feet. In Nikola we trust. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 2:58 pm
  • Gary Harris picks up where he left off
Gary Harris (groin) returned to action on Thursday with 16 points, five rebounds, six assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

Advice: This is a very Harris-like line with a little bit of everything in efficient fashion, making 6-of-11 from the field and all three free throws. Harris did miss his last game due to a groin strain, which is what cost him the first four games of the regular season and most of the preseason. Harris won't light up the box score, but he's safe enough to own in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 2:40 pm
  • Willie Reed (sternum) questionable for Friday
Willie Reed (bruised sternum) is questionable for Friday's game against the Bucks.

Advice: He did not practice and was in sweats for the session on Thursday. Reed has been in the rotation as a straight backup to Hassan Whiteside, but likely won't play more than 15 minutes most nights. If he's out, Udonis Haslem could be next man up or the Heat could use James Johnson at the five more. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 1:29 pm
  • Gary Harris will play on Thursday
Gary Harris (groin) will play on Thursday against the Pacers.

Advice: He was a late scratch on Saturday after an apparent aggravation in warmups. Harris has also been playing through it, so hopefully the time off got him all the way back. He should be owned in standard leagues. Even with Harris back, Will Barton should see minutes around 30. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:37 am
  • Nikola Jokic will play on Thursday
Nikola Jokic (illness) wil play against the Pacers on Thursday night.

Advice: He was sick on Saturday, so he's had plenty of time to get back to 100 percent. When Jokic can avoid foul trouble and the Nuggets are in close games, he has a great chance to get minutes in the mid 30s. Expect a big game in London today. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:36 am
  • Darrell Arthur will not play on Thursday
Darrell Arthur (leg) will not play against the Pacers on Thursday.

Advice: The Nuggets are somewhat healthy besides Arthur, so he wasn't a lock to be in the rotation anyway. Kenneth Faried could see some minutes at power forward tonight. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:30 am
  • Joel Embiid (left ankle) probable for Friday
Joel Embiid (left ankle) is probable for Friday's game vs. the Hornets, but will not play on Saturday vs. the Hornets on the second night of a back-to-back.

Advice: He missed practice on Thursday to get treatment on his tweaked left ankle, but the 76ers are just being cautious. Embiid briefly left Wednesday's game vs. the Knicks, but returned in the second half and finished with 21 points (7-of-20 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), a career-high 14 rebounds, one steal and one block in 27 minutes. Owners of The Process can expect to have him in their lineups on Friday. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:10 am
  • Nikola Jokic (illness) is expected to play
Nikola Jokic (illness) is still expected to play on Thursday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: This isn't much of an update after he was upgraded to probable on Wednesday. His owners can go ahead and pencil him into active lineups and we'll confirm that the fantasy star is starting this afternoon. Darrell Arthur (leg) will head back to the bench and may not even play. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:47 am
  • Darrell Arthur (leg) questionable Thursday
Darrell Arthur (leg) is questionable for Thursday's game for the Pacers.

Advice: Of course he is. Nikola Jokic is returning from an illness anyways, so Arthur will be irrelevant in most fantasy leagues with his move back to the bench. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:42 am
  • Gary Harris (groin) is expected to play
Gary Harris (groin) is expected to play on Thursday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: The Nuggets have been off since Jan. 7 and only play one time this week, so hopefully the extra time off has helped Harris' groin. He's been playing at less than 100 percent and wasn't able to play in the last game, but he's still worth holding onto in standard leagues. Harris has season averages of 12.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.3 triples. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:39 am
  • Clint Capela (leg) says he feels good
Clint Capela (leg) said he's feeling good and he remains on pace to return in the next week or two.

Advice: "My legs feel good. My quickness, I can run, stuff like that," Capela said. "Right now, I just take it day-after-day working out. I'm on schedule for four-to-six weeks (original timetable), like they said before. My workout is getting better, really better." As long as you're OK with his 44.6 percent shooting from the free throw line, Capela is worth stashing after averaging 11.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.6 blocks before going down. Montrezl Harrell will lose most of his value when Capela is cleared. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 6:48 am
  • Alec Burks says he's making progress
Alec Burks said he feels like he is "back to where I was before I got hurt" after playing extended minutes in the D-Leauge on Wednesday.

Advice: "Yeah. I’m fast," Burks said. "That’s what I guess [the Jazz] wanted to see. When I found out my leg was good and steady and stable, I knew I was going to be back, as aggressive as I was." Burks scored 17 points, but only shot 5-of-17 from the floor and is still shaking off some rust. He's not expected to spend more time in the D-League, but it's going to be hard for him to find minutes on the Jazz as they have one of the deepest rosters in the West. He needs a trade in order to have value. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 6:13 am
  • J.J. Redick: 22 pts w/ season-high five dimes
J.J. Redick scored 22 points on 7-of-16 FGs and 5-of-7 FTs vs. the Magic on Wednesday, adding a season-high five assists and six rebounds in 36 minutes.

Advice: Redick's six rebounds were his second-highest total of the season, trailing only Sunday's total of seven boards, and he's been terrific in the month of January. He added three 3-pointers and one block without a single turnover tonight, and needs to be started in all leagues until (or unless) he cools off. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:35 pm
  • Raymond Felton hits 4-of-6 shots in 16 mins
Raymond Felton came off the bench vs. Orlando on Wednesday, making 4-of-6 shots to finish with eight points and three boards in 17 minutes.

Advice: Felton started L.A.'s last game, but he returned to the second unit with Austin Rivers healthy tonight. Felton can be ignored in most leagues, but he's an interesting streaming play when injuries strike L.A.'s backcourt. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:31 pm
  • Austin Rivers returns in 33 mins Wednesday
Austin Rivers (illness) returned to action on Wednesday with nine points, five assists, four rebounds and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes of action.

Advice: Rivers moved back into the starting five alongside Chris Paul, J.J. Redick, Luc Mbah a Moute and DeAndre Jordan, as the Clippers continue to go small in the absence of Blake Griffin (knee). He's worth a glance if you need points, 3-pointers and a dash of assists, but he's not a well-rounded roto option. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:30 pm
  • DeAndre Jordan grabs 20 boards in home win
DeAndre Jordan helped the Clippers earn their fifth straight victory on Wednesday, racking up 20 rebounds to go along with 10 points, three blocks, two steals and one assist.

Advice: Jordan has been getting tips from Kevin Garnett, who is serving as a Clippers' team consultant. "Any pointers he can give me and tips are great," Jordan said. "I just want to be a student whenever he’s here." Jordan already has an NBA-leading six games with 20+ boards this season, and tonight's game moved him past Shaq into a tie for the ninth-most 20+ rebound games in NBA history. He's tied with none other than Kevin Garnett. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:27 pm
  • Chris Paul racks up 18/7/6 w/ four steals Wed
Chris Paul logged 33 minutes during Wednesday's victory, finishing with 18 points (6-of-13 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), seven boards, six assists, four steals and one block.

Advice: This is CP3's highest playing time since returning from a strained hamstring three games ago. Doc Rivers said after Sunday's game, "I think [Paul] is good, but we are [regulating his minutes] anyway." His 33 minutes tonight exceed his season average of 31.4 per game, so any restriction appears to have been lifted. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:26 pm
  • Marreese Speights scores 13 efficient points
Marreese Speights scored 13 efficient points off the bench on Wednesday, hitting 5-of-6 shots with three 3-pointers, three rebounds and one assist in a home win vs. the Magic.

Advice: Speights has made at least one three-pointer in 14 straight games, the longest streak of his career. He's managed to carve out late-round value in Blake Griffin's absence despite playing just 16.9 minutes over the past month. During that time he's established a nice rapport with Chris Paul -- coming into this game, Speights had a 72.7 effective FG percentage off passes from CP3. That said, he's an atypical fantasy big man whose primary virtues have been 3-pointers and FT%. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:25 pm
  • Evan Fournier struggles in 25 minutes
Evan Fournier struggled throughout Wednesday's 105-96 loss to the Clippers, going just 3-of-8 from the field for eight points, two rebounds, two assists and two turnovers in 25 minutes.

Advice: Beat writer Josh Robbins speculated that Fournier's heel injury might still be an issue, but foul trouble took a toll and he still played the final eight minutes. He also looked very good on Sunday (19 points in 34 minutes) and was coming off two days of rest. We'll let you know if there's a hint of injury concern, but for now owners should start him with confidence vs. the Blazers on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:21 pm
    Injured
  • Russell Westbrook drops 18th triple-double
Russell Westbrook turned in his 18th triple-double on the season during a 103-95 win over the Grizzlies on Wednesday, scoring 24 points with 13 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, one block and six turnovers in 37 minutes.

Advice: The Grizzlies actually defended him well in this game with Westbrook only making 6-of-19 from the field. That's not too surprising after they help him assists-less in their last game -- he was also ejected in the second half. This was also the first time he's had a triple-double against the Grizzlies in a regular season game -- the Grizzlies have 10 as a franchise and Westy has three playoff triple-doubles in his career. Westbrook should have a field day against the Wolves on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:02 pm
  • Joel Embiid (ankle) OK after injury scare
Joel Embiid (left ankle) survived an injury scare during Wednesday's game, which he finished with 21 points (7-of-20 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), a career-high 14 rebounds, one steal and one block in 27 minutes.

Advice: Embiid exited after twisting his left ankle, but he started the second half and the fact that he returned suggests Philly had zero concerns about an aggravation. Ankle sprains often get worse overnight, so we'll keep an eye on him prior to Friday's home game vs. Charlotte, but owners can anticipate having him ready to go. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:14 pm
  • Raymond Felton headed to bench Wednesday
Raymond Felton will likely shift to the bench with Austin Rivers returning to the starting lineup on Wednesday.

Advice: Rivers missed Sunday's game with the flu but he's healthy tonight, so the veteran Felton's minutes should take a significant hit. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:56 pm
  • Austin Rivers (illness) will start vs. Magic
Austin Rivers (illness) will start against the Magic on Wednesday.

Advice: His dad is also well enough to coach tonight. Rivers absolutely went off against the Magic in their last game on Dec. 14 with 25 points, so maybe he can have another big outing. Because he's playing well these days, Rivers is worth a look in standard leagues while he's going strong. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:54 pm
  • Trust The Process: Joel Embiid starts 3Q
Joel Embiid (ankle) started the third quarter on Wednesday.

Advice: He looks like he's OK. Trust The Process. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:23 pm
  • Gary Harris, Gallinari questionable vs. IND
Gary Harris (groin) and Danilo Gallinari (ankle) are questionable to play Thursday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: Harris' groin injury has officially turned into a nagging issue, as this is the same injury that sidelined him for the early portion of the season, so if there's any chance of him suffering a setback you can bank on him sitting out Thursday's contest. Gallinari is only dealing with sore ankles, so he seems a bit more likely to gut it out. If Harris is forced to the sidelines, Will Barton and Jamal Murray would benefit most. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 6:34 am
  • Nikola Jokic (illness) probable for Thursday
Nikola Jokic (illness) is probable to play Thursday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: Jokic missed Saturday's loss to the Thunder, but he's now had a full five days to rest up, so he should be just fine for Thursday's game. With Jokic back on the court, he'll siphon away some minutes from Jusuf Nurkic and Darrell Arthur. Owners can expect to get another update on Jokic's status following Thursday morning's shootaround. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 6:29 am
  • The Willie Reed party is over in Miami
Willie Reed played just 11 minutes off the bench on Tuesday, going 1-of-4 with four points, four rebounds and a block.

Advice: He was pretty fun to own while Hassan Whiteside missed four games with an eye injury, but the party is over, as Whiteside has been back for two games and had 28 points and 20 rebounds tonight. Feel free to handcuff Reed if you own Whiteside, but he should generally be dropped for a hot free agent now that Whiteside is back and killing it. But if Whiteside gets traded, Reed could suddenly have a lot of value again. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:10 pm
  • George Hill goes for 13 & 7 in win
George Hill hit 5-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for 13 points, three rebounds and seven assists in Tuesday's 100-92 win over the Cavaliers.

Advice: He's been back for three games and is averaging 15.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.0 3-pointers since his return. Now owners just need to get Hill back in the lineup and hope he doesn't go down again. After a very hot start to the season, Hill missed all but two December games with a concussion and a toe injury. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:48 pm
    GTD
  • Kelly Olynyk playing well for Celtics
Backup center Kelly Olynyk hit 6-of-10 shots and a 3-pointer for 13 points, four rebounds and a block in 25 minutes on Tuesday.

Advice: Oly also had 12 points, four boards, four assists and two 3-pointers on Saturday, as Tyler Zeller continues to sit with an illness. Olynyk is far from being a must-own player, but with Zeller missing four straight games, Olynyk is worth keeping a close eye on right now. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:15 pm
  • Rivers (illness) probable for Wednesday
Austin Rivers (illness) returned to practiced with the team on Tuesday and appears probable for Wednesday's game vs. Orlando.

Advice: Rivers missed Sunday's game vs. Miami due to the flu bug that has rampaged the NBA. In his previous four games, Rivers was averaging 18.8 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.8 rebounds in 37.9 minutes. However, with Chris Paul back in the mix, Rivers will not see the same amount of extended playing time. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:11 am
  • Russell Westbrook scores 21 w/ 14 assists
Russell Westbrook scored 24 points on 9-of-18 shooting with 14 assists, nine rebounds, one steal, one triple and three turnovers against the Bulls on Monday.

Advice: Westbrook's 3-point attempts are way up and he attempted a whopping 49 triples in his last four games, hitting them at a 38.7 percent clip. He was just 1-of-7 from deep tonight, but Thunder coach Billy Donovan doesn't seem to mind. "When he gets a couple in a row, I think you have to let him maybe take a couple more that may look highly contested or difficult, because he can make them." Westbrook will look to get some revenge against Memphis on Wednesday after he was ejected in their previous meeting. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:01 pm
  • Alec Burks recalled from D-League
The Jazz have recalled Alec Burks, Raul Neto and Dante Exum from the D-League.

Advice: They were assigned to the D-League for just a few hours in order to get an extra practice in. None of these plays have any value in standard leagues at the moment. Rotoworld.com Monday, 3:52 pm
  • Clint Capela (knee) on track in his recovery
Clint Capela (knee) is on track to return to the court by mid-to-late January.

Advice: Capela is currently in Week-3 of his initial 4-6 week timetable, so if he meets the early end of the timetable we could see him back as soon as January 17, with the latest possible return date being January 31. With a punting free throws strategy, Capela was a top-50 asset in 9-cat leagues prior to going down, so he's worth stashing if he's a fit for your team and you can sustain the dead roster space. Once Capela gets back to the court, Montrezl Harrell will lose most of his value. Rotoworld.com Monday, 11:38 am
  • Alec Burks sent down for a D-League stint
Alec Burks has been assigned to Utah's D-League affiliate.

Advice: Burks is still being eased back into things after being sidelined for roughly a year, so he'll get in some practice with Utah's D-League squad. Burks will be working with a strict minutes limit for the foreseeable future, so there's no reason to own him anywhere. Rotoworld.com Monday, 11:23 am
  • Ty Lawson scores 15 points in loss to GSW
Ty Lawson finished Sunday's home loss with 15 points, three assists and two rebounds in 22 minutes.

Advice: Lawson came off the bench tonight and he continues to bounce around the rotation depending upon matchups and the whims of coach Dave Joerger. The good news is that he made 4-of-8 FGs and 7-of-8 FTs tonight, so it wasn't that bad of a return for his owners. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 9:55 pm
  • Rudy Gobert held to five points vs. Grizzlies
Rudy Gobert made just 1-of-3 FGs and 3-of-6 FTs for five points on Sunday, adding 13 rebounds with two assists, three steals, one block and four turnovers.

Advice: Utah was playing their fifth game in a seven-day stretch and they were facing the Grizzlies' defense -- the result was a mere 79 points for Utah on 38.9 percent shooting. Gobert has been rolling along after a slow start to the season, and his 23 straight games with double-digit rebounds is a franchise record for the Jazz. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 8:04 pm
  • Alec Burks plays two minutes Sunday
Alec Burks played only two minutes during the second half of Utah's back-to-back set on Sunday.

Advice: The Jazz are being extremely cautious with Burks, who is coming off ankle surgery, and coach Quin Snyder recently said that integrating him will be "a long process." The Jazz have "a lot of options on the wing," Snyder said, and there's no reason to touch Burks outside of the deepest leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 8:03 pm
  • George Hill scores 15 pts in loss to Memphis
George Hill scored 15 points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in a sloppy loss to the Grizzlies on Sunday.

Advice: Hill recently returned from a concussion and severe facial laceration, but the fact that he played in back-to-back games confirms he's fine. Utah's prized offseason acquisition has been awesome when healthy this season, posting early-round roto value, and his owners just have to hope he avoids another fluky injury. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 8:03 pm
    GTD
  • Ty Lawson heads to the bench
Ty Lawson will move to the bench in Sunday’s game against the Warriors.

Advice: With Garrett Temple starting at shooting guard, Darren Collison will start at point guard. Anthony Tolliver also got the start, moving Matt Barnes to the bench as well. Lawson's minutes should not be affected much by this move. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 6:11 pm
  • Ryan Anderson quiet in 129-122 road win
Ryan Anderson was quiet during Houston's 129-122 victory on Sunday, posting nine points (2-of-8 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs) with four boards and one steal in 32 minutes.

Advice: Houston was playing the second game in a back-to-back set, and Anderson didn't quite seem to have his legs under him tonight. He's only scored single-digit points in consecutive games once this season, back in early November, so expect him to bounce back vs. Charlotte on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 6:01 pm
  • Marreese Speights scores 19 points in 14 mins
Marreese Speights was ultra-efficient on Sunday, going 6-of-8 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line on his way to 19 points, three 3-pointers, two boards, one assist, one block and one turnover.

Advice: Speights did all of his damage in a mere 14 minutes off the bench, and he's been a per-minute monster ever since Blake Griffin (knee) went down. Unfortunately, his playing time has been too sporadic to trust him in standard leagues, so he's just a low-end asset to own in deep leagues for those seeking some help in the 3-point department. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 4:21 pm
  • Raymond Felton hits 3-of-11 shots in start
Raymond Felton started on Sunday sans Austin Rivers (flu) and scored seven points on 3-of-11 shooting with seven boards, five assists, two steals, one 3-pointer and one turnover in 37 minutes.

Advice: The Clippers are off until Wednesday, so there's a good chance Rivers will be fully recovered by then, which would likely queue the end of Felton's run with the starting unit. Felton isn't worth owning in most leagues while J.J. Redick and Chris Paul are healthy. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 4:16 pm
  • J.J. Redick scores 25 points with four treys
J.J. Redick scored 25 points on 9-of-19 shooting Sunday, to go with four 3-pointers, seven rebounds, two assists and just one turnover in 33 minutes.

Advice: Triples and efficient scoring, that's what Redick does. Amongst guards, Redick ranks in the top-10 in true shooting percentage at 61.2, the top-4 in 3-point percentage (44.1) and with 97 total triples on the year, he ranks in the top-12 in 3-points made. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 4:13 pm
  • DeAndre Jordan hauls in 18 rebounds in win
DeAndre Jordan pulled down 18 rebounds during Sunday's win over the Heat, to go with seven points, one block and one turnover in 34 minutes.

Advice: This is your prototypical DJ-line with him going 2-of-4 from the field and 3-of-8 from the charity stripe. Jordan's blocks are slightly down this season with him swatting away just 1.7 shots a night, although he still has plenty of time to turn that trend around. Jordan sits amongst the top-5 in true shooting percentage at 65.3, and when you discount his horrific free throw shooting he's a top-20 stud. Once the blocks start to climb, he'll be back in the first-round equation (punting free throws). Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 4:06 pm
  • Chris Paul posts 19-point, 18-assist dub-dub
Chris Paul posted a monster 19-point, 18-assist double-double during Sunday's win over the Heat, adding six rebounds, two steals, one 3-pointer and one turnover in just 29 minutes of action.

Advice: In typical CP3 fashion, he went 7-of-11 from the field and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe, giving him a sterling 72.0 true shooting percentage on the evening. He also become just the 10th player in NBA history to amass 8,000 career assists, and with 806 games played over his 12-year career, he also became the third-fastest player to reach the 15,000-point, 8,000-dime plateau. He currently ranks No. 7 overall in 9-cat leagues, but he could easily be a top-3 option after the All-Star break. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 3:53 pm
  • Willie Reed grabs 10 boards in 17 minutes
Willie Reed returned to the bench on Sunday, going 2-of-6 from the field on his way to four points, 10 rebounds, one steal, one block and one turnover in 17 minutes.

Advice: Hassan Whiteside (eye) logged 31 minutes as a starter, so it's going to be tough for Reed to be much of a factor in fantasy hoops operating as Whiteside's backup. You could justify handcuffing him to Whiteside, but Reed isn't worth owning in most scenarios while Hassan is healthy. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 3:44 pm
  • Raymond Felton will start sans Rivers vs. MIA
Raymond Felton will enter the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Heat, with Austin Rivers (flu) unavailable.

Advice: Chris Paul, J.J. Redick, Luc Mbah a Moute and DeAndre Jordan will join Felton in the starting lineup for today's game, but with Paul and Redick healthy and set to take on most of the offensive burden, Felton isn't all that attractive of a fantasy target despite the increased opportunity. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 12:19 pm
  • Austin Rivers (illness) ruled out Sunday
Austin Rivers (illness) will not play on Sunday vs. the Heat.

Advice: Rivers has been playing an average of 33.2 minutes over his last five games, so his absence will open the door for Raymond Felton and Jamal Crawford to see more minutes in a great matchup. Rivers should be relevant until Blake Griffin (knee) returns with averages of 16.8 points, 4.0 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 triples over his last five, but the Clippers only play twice in Week 12. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 10:56 am
  • Willie Reed will come off the bench Sunday
Willie Reed will come off the bench on Sunday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Hassan Whiteside (eye) will be returning from a four-game absence, but Reed won't be completely irrelevant because the Heat are going to ease him back into action. Reed averaged 13.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.0 blocks in four starts, so Whiteside's owners in deeper leagues should consider owning him as a handcuff. Rotoworld.com Jan 8, 6:20 am
  • George Hill plays 33 minutes in return
George Hill played 33 minutes in his return to the lineup during a 94-92 win over the Wolves on Saturday, scoring 19 points with five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: What happened to the minutes limit? He played the entire fourth quarter despite the talk of him only playing 3-5 minute stints. The performance side of things has certainly been there with his second-round value per game on the season. Plus, the Jazz are an impressive 11-3 with G-Hill in the lineup. He really just needs to stay on the court and there's a good chance he will after a litany of strange injuries this season. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 8:52 pm
    GTD
  • Rudy Gobert has another big game vs. MIN
Rudy Gobert scored 12 points with 13 rebounds, one assist, one steal and four blocks in 31 minutes against the Wolves on Saturday.

Advice: This isn't even news anymore. Gobert leads the NBA in blocks, but he relinquished his lead for field goal percentage to DeAndre Jordan -- Gobert is still first in true shooting percentage. He deserves an All-Star spot and the Jazz should get hot now that they are finally healthy. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 8:45 pm
  • Russell Westbrook drops another trip-dub
Russell Westbrook posted his 17th triple-double of the season during a 121-106 win over the Nuggets on Saturday, scoring 32 points with 17 rebounds, 11 assists, three steals and seven 3-pointers.

Advice: When Westbrook is hitting seven treys, it's pretty much a wrap, as his coach knows. "When he's got it going, I want him to heat-check a little bit," coach Billy Donovan said. Westbrook's rebounding numbers have been center-like and he has more of those than assists this season. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 8:22 pm
  • Darrell Arthur scores 10 points in 24 minutes
Darrell Arthur scored 10 points in a start against the Thunder on Saturday with four rebounds, one assist, one steal and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes.

Advice: With Kenneth Faried playing the five and Wilson Chandler sliding over in some bigger lineups, Arthur had a terrific chance at minutes for this game. He will likely see a decrease in playing time once Nikola Jokic (illness) is healthy again. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 7:58 pm
  • Darrell Arthur in the starting lineup vs. OKC
Darrell Arthur will start at power forward against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: That means Kenneth Faried should be playing most of his minutes at the center spot because Wilson Chandler will play almost all four. Arthur is likely only looking at around 15-20 minutes tonight, so he's not a great fantasy option. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 4:51 pm
  • George Hill getting the start on Saturday
George Hill (concussion) will get the start against the Wolves on Saturday.

Advice: In case you missed it, he's likely only going to get stints in the 3-5 minutes range, so he's likely going to be capped at 20 minutes. That means Shelvin Mack should still be able to get around 20 minutes, but is still not a fantasy option. Hill should be starting in all leagues and hopefully he can stay on the court this time around. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 4:14 pm
    GTD
  • George Hill will see limited playing time
George Hill (concussion) likely will play him in 3-5 minute stints instead of 8-9 on Saturday night against the Wolves.

Advice: He'll likely get either three or four stints, so Hill is likely only looking at 15-20 minutes tonight. He had his sutures out on Friday and was fitted for a mouthpiece, as well. Hill isn't a DFS option tonight, but owners in season-long leagues should get him back in their lineups. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 3:59 pm
    GTD
  • Darrell Arthur will play on Saturday
Darrell Arthur (knee) is available to play on Saturday against the Thunder.

Advice: The Nuggets put him on the injury report basically every game, so he should be good considered close to 100 percent. With Nikola Jokic (illness) out, Arthur could get minutes in the low 20s. He's hurt too often to be owned in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 3:02 pm
  • Nikola Jokic will not play on Saturday night
Nikola Jokic (illness) will not play against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: He was questionable and will miss his first game since Dec. 5. Jokic has been wonderful in 2017, averaging 19.3 points, 10.3 boards, 5.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 27.0 minutes per game. With him out, Jusuf Nurkic will get his best opportunity all season and is worth a look in standard leagues. We should see more Kenneth Faried and Darrell Arthur, as well. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 2:57 pm
  • George Hill cleared to play on Saturday night
George Hill (lip, concussion) has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the Wolves.

Advice: He has gone through each step of the concussion protocol and has been symptom-free in the process. Hill suffered his concussion on Saturday and missed the last three games. He may have a slight limit on his minutes tonight, but obviously go ahead and get him in your lineup. Shelvin Mack takes a bit hit. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 12:17 pm
    GTD
  • George Hill remains in concussion protocol
George Hill went through shootaround Saturday morning but is still listed as "out" for Saturday's game because he has not yet completed the full concussion protocol.

Advice: The Jazz play in Minnesota on Saturday and then in Memphis on Sunday. We will have to wait for an update from the team to see if Hill is any closer to getting cleared by the league, which is required before he can play in a game. Shelvin Mack will continue to start and see the majority of minutes at point guard. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 10:20 am
    GTD
  • Nikola Jokic (illness) is a GTD on Saturday
Nikola Jokic (illness) is a game-time decision for Saturday's contest vs. OKC.

Advice: Jokic has been playing extremely well of late. He is averaging 20.5 points (on 61.3 percent shooting), 9.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists over the Nuggets last six games. If Jokic can't play on Saturday, Jusuf Nurkic, Kenneth Faried and Darrell Arthur will see an increase in playing time. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 9:34 am
  • CP3 (hamstring) 'feels great' after game
Chris Paul said he felt "great" after playing 31 minutes in his return to the Clippers lineup on Friday night.

Advice: When asked how his hamstring felt after the game, Paul responded: "It feels great. That’s a good thing. I don’t feel nothing... came out unscathed." He certainly looked just fine, tallying 14 points, six rebounds, 12 assists, three steals in the Clippers victory. CP3 owners can breathe a sign of relief, as Paul should seems to have moved past the nagging hammy injury. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 9:03 am
  • Willie Reed may get bumped to bench on Sunday
Coach Eric Spoelstra was non-committal when asked about who he would start at center on Sunday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Willie Reed (22 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 32 minutes) played extremely well on Friday in place of Hassan Whiteside (eye). However, Whiteside is hopeful he will be healthy enough to return to action on Sunday. "There's been so many moving parts with this team, everything is open," Spo said. Still, if Whiteside is able to play, it is safe to assume he'll draw the start. Rotoworld.com Jan 7, 8:56 am
  • Chris Paul returns, scores 14 with 12 dimes
Chris Paul returned to the lineup on Friday with 14 points, six rebounds, 12 assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes during a 106-98 win over the Clippers.

Advice: CP3 looked just fine after missing seven of the last eight games due to a hamstring injury. He also passed Rod Strickland for 10th all time on the NBA's assist list. He also passed Danny Manning for sixth all time on the Clippers' scoring list tonight. He's arguably the best point guard of this decade. Rotoworld.com Jan 6, 10:48 pm
  • Raymond Felton scores five off bench
Raymond Felton scored five points off the bench against the Kings on Friday, adding three rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer in 21 minutes.

Advice: He'll be going back to his old role as the backup point guard. Felton rarely plays next to Chris Paul, so he'll be hovering around 20 minutes most nights. He's a drop candidate. Rotoworld.com Jan 6, 10:43 pm
  • Austin Rivers scores 24 points in win
Austin Rivers started on the wing against the Kings on Friday, finishing with 24 points, six rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: He was on fire with 18 points in the first half. Rivers has looked lightning quick on the offensive side to offset his defensive issues, so his dad is willing to deal with the trade off. Rivers is not going to be this good most nights, so he's more of a 16-team guy right now. Rotoworld.com Jan 6, 10:39 pm
  • Ty Lawson gets the start, scores 17 points
Ty Lawson started on Friday with 17 points, four rebounds, six assists, one steal and two turnovers in 37 minutes against the Clippers.

Advice: Coach Dave Joerger finally pulled the trigger to put Lawson in the first unit and did so with Darren Collison, who had 20 points with five rebounds in the loss. Lawson should be looking at minutes in the low 30s going forward, especially with how well he plays next to DeMarcus Cousins. If you need a point guard, he could be your guy. Rotoworld.com Jan 6, 10:14 pm
  • Free Willie: Reed scores 22 w/ 12 rebounds
Willie Reed scored 22 points (10-of-15 FGs, 2-of-5 FTs) with 12 rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 32 minutes against the Lakers on Friday.

Advice: He averaged 10.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.7 blocks and 0.7 steals in his three previous starts, but his two monster games came against the Suns and Lakers and he posted two duds against the Kings and Pistons. Hassan Whiteside (eye) is traveling with the Heat again and could return as soon as Thursday's game vs. the Clippers, so Reed is just a short-term option until Whiteside is cleared. With that said, Reed could emerge down the stretch with the Heat clearly tanking. Rotoworld.com Jan 6, 10:05 pm
