  • Report: Pels willing to pay Holiday max money
Basketball Insiders is reporting that the Pelicans are willing to offer Jrue Holiday a "max or near max deal" when he hits free agency this summer.

Advice: Holiday has played extremely well this season, especially of late. Over the Pels last 13 games, Holiday is averaging 21.8 points, 8.4 assists, 5.2 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 2.0 treys, while shooting 55.6 percent from the floor and 42.6 percent from 3-point territory. Heading into this season, it was unknown what kind of salary Holiday would be able to demand when he hit free agency, but his strong play may force New Orleans' hand, especially after they just committed to a "win now" approach by trading for DeMarcus Cousins. • ESPN: Jazz have interest in Lou Williams
Some members of the Utah Jazz front office have expressed interest in trading for Lou Williams, according to Ian Begley of ESPN.

Advice: The Lakers are in the early stages of a rebuild, so flipping the 30-year old Williams for a draft pick certainly makes sense. Earlier this week it was reported by multiple outlets that the Wizards had discussions with the Lakers regarding Williams. L.A. surely hopes a bidding war drives up the asking price. If Lou Will does get dealt, D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson would see a boost in playing time and fantasy value over the final two months of the season. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:02 am
  • Mario Chalmers to audition for the Pelicans
The Pelicans are looking to add a guard and will host Mario Chalmers, Quinn Cook, Reggie Williams and Hollis Thompson for a tryout this week.

Advice: After trading away Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, and Langston Galloway in the DeMarcus Cousins deal, the Pelicans roster is a bit unbalanced. Thus, they are looking to add depth to their backcourt. Chalmers recently auditioned for the Cavs but did not sign with Cleveland. He has plenty of NBA experience but is still working his way back from a torn Achilles injury that he suffered last March. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:51 am

  • Report: Chris Paul to re-sign with Clippers
Basketball Insiders is reporting that Chris Paul and the Clippers have already "verbally agreed" to signing a new, long-term contract this summer.

Advice: CP3 has a player option of $24.3 million for the 2017-18 season. He is expected to opt out this summer and then sign a new, five-year deal worth north of $200 million. Paul turns 32 in May, so inking to him to a massive, long-term contract is somewhat risky, as he will be making over $30 million annually during his age-35 and age-36 seasons. However, he is still playing at a very high level and his game is not overly dependent on athleticism, so he will likely age better than other comparable point guards. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:24 am

  • ESPN: Wolves inquire about Derrick Rose
According to Ian Begley of ESPN, the Wolves have inquired about the availability of Derrick Rose.

Advice: The Wolves are "among several teams" to reach out to the Knicks regarding a potential Rose deal, but it's not clear what Minnesota is offering. Rose will be a free agent this summer, so the Knicks will have to keep their asking price down. Rose played seven seasons under coach Tom Thibodeau, so he should be able to hit the ground running if he was moved to Minnesota. However, unless Ricky Rubio is part of the proposed deal, Rose would lose a lot of fantasy value on the Wolves. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:40 pm
  • ESPN: Wizards interested in Lou Williams
According to Zach Lowe of ESPN, the Wizards have "explored trading a protected first-round pick" for Lou Williams.

Advice: This confirms a report by The Vertical on Sunday, so there's definitely something here. The Lakers are going to be sellers at the deadline and are looking for draft picks, while the Wizards are looking to upgrade their second unit for a playoff push. Williams is on the books for $7 million this season and $7 million in 2017-18, and with averages of 18.6 points, 3.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 2.1 triples in just 24.2 minutes per game this season, it's easy to see why contenders will have their eyes on him at the deadline. If Williams finds a new home, that will benefit D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:05 pm
  • SAC plans to keep Langston Galloway and Evans
Kings GM Vlade Divac said that the Kings currently do not have any plans to release Langston Galloway or Tyreke Evans.

Advice: An earlier report by Adrian Wojnarowski of the Verticle stated that the Kings intended to waive Galloway, but Divac is apparently deviating from that standpoint, although he did leave the door open by saying "at least for now." Galloway is in an overly crowded backcourt in Sacramento, so if he does stay with the team, it's unlikely he'll have much value. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:00 pm
  • Tim Frazier looking at a bump in minutes?
Tim Frazier is likely looking at a bump in minutes in New Orleans.

Advice: With Tyreke Evans and Langston Galloway out of the picture, Frazier becomes the primary backup behind Jrue Holiday and could also see more time in two-PG lineups -- Frazier has logged over 200 minutes next to Jrue Holiday this season. If you need a PG in a deep league, taking a flier on Frazier makes some sense given how thin the Pelicans are in their backcourt. He has season averages of 8.7 points, 5.7 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 0.7 triples in 25.1 minutes per game. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:10 am
  • Darren Collison and McLemore are available?
According to Chris Mannix of The Vertical, Darren Collison, Ben McLemore and Arron Afflalo are all "available" with the deadline looming.

Advice: The Kings moved on from DeMarcus Cousins on Sunday which signaled the beginning of a very long rebuild. Collison is set to become a free agent this summer and the Kings probably aren't confident about their ability to re-sign him, so moving him now for a draft pick makes sense before he walks for nothing. His owners will be hoping that he lands in a favorable spot, but a move would likely hurt his fantasy value. Ty Lawson is the big winner here if the Kings find a new home for Collison, unless of course the Kings bring in a young PG. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 6:40 am
  • Tyreke Evans headed back to Sacramento
Tyreke Evans will be traded to the Kings in the DeMarcus Cousins deal.

Advice: The former Rookie of the Year is headed back to his old team. Evans is going to be an unrestricted free agent in July, so the Kings are clearly opening up as much cap room as they can for the upcoming offseason. As for the rest of this season, Evans may not have as much of a restriction and the Kings are now completely gutted on offense, so he's headed for a big opportunity. Of course, the injury risk won't go away. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:55 pm

  • Langston Galloway to SAC in Cousins deal?
Langston Galloway will reportedly be traded to the Kings as part of a deal sending DeMarcus Cousins to New Orleans.

Advice: He is fully expected to be waived, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical. Galloway had some bright spots earlier this season while Jrue Holiday was out, so he should get some interest on either waivers or as a free agent. He has been out of the rotation at times lately, so he's almost certainly going to be added as a second-string guy at best. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:54 pm
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo makes 14-of-17 shots
Giannis Antetokounmpo made 14-of-17 shots to finish Sunday's All-Star game with 30 points, six rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block.

Advice: In his first All-Star game, the Bucks' star led his team in scoring despite playing just 23 minutes and sitting out down the stretch. He hammered down a put-back dunk over Stephen Curry that will make highlight reels, and generally feasted in a game with zero defense. The Bucks are one game behind Detroit for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference, and Giannis' production is more important than ever with Jabari Parker (ACL surgery) out for the season. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:22 pm
  • All-Star Russell Westbrook scores 41 points
Russell Westbrook scored 41 points during Sunday's All-Star game, making 16-of-26 shots with seven 3-pointers, seven assists, five rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes of action.

Advice: Westbrook has no 'off' switch. He threw down an alley-oop from Kevin Durant in the first quarter, which caused the Western Conference bench to serenade both players during a timeout, and the former teammates were the early focal point of tonight's game. His huge line came in just 20 minutes off the bench tonight, and he would have been the MVP for a third straight year if Anthony Davis hadn't blown up for a record-breaking 52 points. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:19 pm
  • Suns GM expects Ulis to have bigger role
Suns GM Ryan McDonough believes that Tyler Ulis will "play more minutes" after the trade deadline.

Advice: The Suns are expected to be sellers at the deadline and Brandon Knight could be on the move, so Ulis' outlook is promising. It also helps that the Suns may manage Eric Bledsoe's minutes down the stretch, as coach Earl Watson has hinted that Bledsoe has struggled with fatigue at times this season. Ulis has been in and out of the rotation this season, but it sounds like the Suns want to give him a lot of burn moving forward and a Knight trade would be the first step. He's just a stash in deeper leagues while Bledsoe is healthy, but you might as well put him on your watch list. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 10:10 am
  • Lou Williams a target for the Wizards?
Lou Williams could be a potential trade target for the Wizards according to The Vertical.

Advice: Williams is on the books for $7 million this season and $7 million in 2017-18, so the Sixth Man of the Year candidate is on a bargain of a contract. The Lakers aren't going anywhere this season and would probably be willing to flip Williams for a pick, and Washington "has shown an inclination" to give up a future first-round pick. Washington's bench isn't loaded by any means, so it's not crazy to think that Williams' value would be fine there. If he finds a new home, that should benefit D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:55 am
  • ESPN: Pistons still shopping Reggie Jackson
The Pistons have "continued to gauge the market" for Reggie Jackson, according to ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

Advice: In case you missed it on Friday, the Pistons have reportedly talked to the Magic about a Jackson for D.J. Augustin and Jeff Green deal. Plus, last month there was a Jackson for Ricky Rubio report, and also ESPN's Zach Lowe said the Pelicans had exploratory interest in Jackson. Ish Smith isn't the greatest stash in fantasy, but he has some appeal for owners needing a point guard. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:21 pm
  • Isaiah Thomas wants to play more?
Coach Brad Stevens said Isaiah Thomas has frequently asked to play more minutes.

Advice: "I'm used to Isaiah jockeying for minutes. He's done it 57 times," Stevens said. Thomas is up to 34.5 minutes per game this season, which is the most he's played since his Kings days in 2013-14 and also ranks 21st in the NBA this season. Stevens almost certainly won't be upping his All-Star's minutes, but Thomas is still going to be an elite fantasy guy going forward. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 12:48 pm
  • Briante Weber assigned to D-League
The Warriors assigned Briante Weber to the D-League on Friday.

Advice: The move will allow Weber to participate in Saturday morning's D-League All-Star game. Weber has appeared in five games with the Warriors this season, averaging 1.6 points and 1.0 assist in 8.2 minutes. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:22 am
  • ESPN: Magic, Pistons talking Jackson deal
The Pistons and Magic have discussed a trade that would send Reggie Jackson to Orlando for D.J. Augustin and Jeff Green, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Advice: To be clear, nothing is imminent. We're going to see a lot of Jackson trade rumors as the deadline approaches next Thursday. He's been vastly outplayed by Ish Smith lately and the Pistons just don't have the ammo to compete in the Eastern Conference right now, so being sellers makes sense. There could be some sort of draft compensation for the Pistons, but Jackson being signed through the 2019-20 season is a big factor on potential move. It makes sense to stash Ish Smith in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:54 am
  • Davis wants Pelicans to re-sign Jrue Holiday
Anthony Davis said he plans to be "very involved" in the Pelicans efforts to re-sign Jrue Holiday this summer.

Advice: Holiday will be one of the more sought-after free agents on the open market this summer. He has been remarkably efficient on offense this season. He's shooting a carer-high 46.8 percent from the floor and 39.3 percent from 3-point territory. Davis, who signed a five-year extension last summer, wants Holiday to stay in New Orleans. "I talk to Jrue all the time. He'll make his own decisions, but of course, we like him here," said Davis. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:39 am
  • Derrick Rose viewed as a trade target
Multiple teams view Derrick Rose as a potential trade target, according to ESPN's Ian Begley.

Advice: While Carmelo Anthony rumors continue to swirl, ESPN reports that Rose is attracting some attention from other teams in need of point guard help. Rose has been putting up impressive numbers of late. Over the Knicks last four games, Rose is averaging 19.0 points (on 57.9 percent shooting), 5.3 assists and 4.5 rebounds. If he is traded, his fantasy value would likely take a hit, as Rose would probably see fewer minutes and a reduced usage rate on a new team. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:38 am
  • Isaiah Thomas scores 29 points in loss to CHI
Isaiah Thomas scored 29 points during a 104-103 loss to the Bulls on Thursday, adding three rebounds, seven assists and four 3-pointers.

Advice: The other four starters scored a combined 29 points to match IT4 in this loss. Thomas set the franchise record for most 20-plus scoring games in a row with 41 to pass John Havlicek. He also has a chance to be the first Celtic ever to lead the NBA in scoring per game. Although, he still need 1.2 points per game to catch Russell Westbrook. IT has been a top-10 player in standard leagues this season. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:39 pm
  • OKC wins behind Russell Westbrook's 38/14/12
Russell Westbrook headed into the All-Star break with an exclamation point, dropping 38 points, 14 rebounds, 12 assists, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers in a win vs. the Knicks.

Advice: New York had zero answers for Westbrook defensively, and he wound up making 13-of-22 shots and 9-of-13 free throws to help his team snap a two-game losing streak. There are no Western Conference teams playing on Thursday, so the Thunder head into the break with the No. 7 seed, 1.5 games behind the Grizzlies. It will be fascinating to see how the two-time All-Star MVP performs this weekend, especially if Steve Kerr puts him in the same lineup as Kevin Durant. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:43 pm
  • Derrick Rose hits 11-of-21 shots, scores 25
Derrick Rose stayed hot on Wednesday, hitting 11-of-21 shots for 25 points, but it wasn't enough to avoid a road loss to the Thunder.

Advice: Rose heads into the All-Star break on an upswing, having averaged 19.0 points on 33-of-57 shooting (57.9 percent) in his past four games. He rounded out tonight's line with seven assists, four rebounds and two steals in 38 minutes, which is all his owners can ask for. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:40 pm
  • Reggie Jackson breaks out of slump w/ 22 pts
Reggie Jackson finally broke out of his slump in Wednesday's 98-91 win over the Mavericks, scoring 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting.

Advice: R-Jax was averaging 10.4 points on 37.3 percent shooting in his previous 10 outings, so it has to be a huge relief for his owners that he finally showed some signs of life before the break. He dished out four assists with a pair of steals and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes, but Ish Smith also played well with 10 points and three assists in 20 minutes. In case you missed it, a report by Zach Lowe of ESPN indicated that R-Jax is a candidate to be moved at the deadline, but a trade may not be a bad thing with Smith breathing down his neck in Detroit. Jackson has been a bust this season, but he's still a hold in most leagues and tonight was encouraging. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:01 pm
  • Isaiah Thomas ties John Havlicek's record
Isaiah Thomas scored a game-high 33 points to help Boston beat the Sixers on Wednesday, sinking 9-of-19 FGs and 11-of-13 FTs with four 3-pointers, four boards and three assists.

Advice: Thomas tied John Havlicek's franchise record with at least 20 points in 40 consecutive games, and he's likely to break the record vs. Chicago on Thursday. "Red Auerbach always said it’s not how fast you are, it’s how quick you are," Havlicek said. "[Thomas] certainly is quick with the ball and he’s also low to the ground and gets to places where other people can’t because of their size. I think he’s been an absolute delight to watch." Thomas' fantasy owners are nodding in agreement. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:49 pm
  • Antetokounmpo stuffs stat sheet in Brooklyn
Giannis Antetokounmpo stuffed the stat sheet in Wednesday's 129-125 victory over the Nets, finishing with 33 points, nine rebounds, three assists, four steals and one block.

Advice: Antetokounmpo scored only eight points on Monday, so it was nice to see him bounce back in classic Greek Freak fashion on Wednesday. He was touted as a breakout candidate before the season and has most certainly lived up the hype. Giannis enters the All-Star break averaging 23.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.7 steals per game. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:04 pm
  • Report: Detroit shopping Reggie Jackson
The Pistons are open to moving Reggie Jackson at the deadline, according to Zach Lowe of ESPN.

Advice: Lowe states that while the Pistons are unlikely to part ways with Andre Drummond, sending away Jackson isn't entirely out of the question. Thus far, Jackson has been linked to New Orleans, Orlando and Minnesota, and out of all those potential destinations, Orlando would probably be the best landing spot as Jackson would easily be the No. 1 option on offense there. If he does end up getting traded and Detroit doesn't bring back a guard, Ish Smith would likely emerge as Detroit's starting point guard, so he's someone to consider stashing away in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:16 am
  • Report: Lakers are actively shopping Williams
The Lakers are reportedly actively shopping Lou Williams, and it seems likely that he will be moved by the trade deadline.

Advice: At 30 years old, Williams just doesn't make much sense on a rebuilding roster, and with a cap friendly contract, the Lakers should be able to get some nice return if they choose to deal the Sixth Man of the Year candidate. Sending away Sweet Lou would also open up minutes for Jordan Clarkson and D'Angelo Russell, but Williams would likely lose some value playing outside of Los Angeles. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 6:53 am
  • Darren Colllison scores 13 in win over Lakers
Darren Collison hit 5-of-12 shots and a 3-pointer for 13 points, five rebounds, eight assists and five turnovers in Tuesday's 97-96 win over the Lakers.

Advice: He played 40 minutes, but Boogie Cousins was amped for this game and shot it about every time he touched it, limiting Collison's shots in the process. Ty Lawson was out with his adductor strain and any time he's in street clothes, Collison is a viable fantasy play. He just didn't have a big game tonight. If Lawson plays on Wednesday, fading Collison is probably the way to go. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:37 pm
  • Lou Williams scores 29 points w/ four treys
Lou Williams scored 29 points on 10-of-18 shooting in Tuesday's 97-96 loss to the Kings.

Advice: He did all of his damage in just 24 minutes and scored 19 points alone in the fourth quarter to nearly steal this one for the Lakers. Williams also hit 5-of-5 from the line and racked up five assists, one rebound, two steals, one block and five 3-pointers. Williams is on a bargain of a contract and he's expected to draw a ton of interest at the deadline, so his value could take a hit if he's moved to a contender. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 10:04 pm
  • Dubs gives second 10-day contract to Weber
The Warriors have signed Briante Weber to a second 10-day contract.

Advice: The timing of this deal is odd as Weber will only have the opportunity to suit up for a total of two games until this second contract expires due to the All-Star break, but this could be a sign that the Dubs will be without Shaun Livingston (personal) for Wednesday's game against the Kings. Weber saw 24 minutes on Monday night with both Livingston and Klay Thompson (heel) unavailable, but only managed to put up two points, three dimes, one steal, one block and one board. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 2:28 pm
  • Tyreke Evans scores 15 points
Tyreke Evans scored 15 points in 25 minutes vs. the Suns on Monday.

Advice: Evans finished 6-of-11 from the field and dished out four assists with four rebounds, one steal and three turnovers. He was expected to be on a 20-minute limit, so it's a great sign that he played 25. Evans should continue to trend up after the All-Star break, so this feels like the appropriate time to pick him up again. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:41 pm

  • Tyler Ulis picks up a DNP-CD
Tyler Ulis was DNP-CD on Monday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Eric Bledsoe returned from a day of rest, but Brandon Knight got the backup PG minutes even though Ulis scored a career-high 13 points with two rebounds, six assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes against the Rockets on Saturday. The Suns might be showcasing Knight for a trade and we still think Ulis will be more involved after the break. However, tonight confirmed that he's just a stash in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:03 pm
  • Russell Westbrook plays 24 minutes in loss
Russell Westbrook played 24 minutes in a blowout loss to the Wizards on Monday, scoring 17 points on 5-of-19 shooting.

Advice: Joffrey Lauvergene also scored 17 points in the garbage time special, so it was that kind of night for Westy. He finished 7-of-7 from the line and missed all four of his 3-point attempts, adding four boards, four assists and two steals. The good news is that Westbrook should feast against Derrick Rose and the Knicks on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:34 pm
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo quiet in win
Giannis Antetokounmpo hit just 2-of-9 shots for eight points, four rebounds, six assists, a steal and a block in 37 minutes of Monday's win over the Pistons.

Advice: It's nice to know the Bucks can win when Giannis isn't feeling it, as his eight points were a season low in a game in which he wasn't injured this season. He'd scored between 20 and 41 points in his previous five games and this was clearly just an off night for Giannis. He'll bounce back in the next one. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:06 pm
  • Reggie Jackson scores nine points in loss
Reggie Jackson hit 3-of-7 shots and a 3-pointer for nine points, two rebounds, nine assists and a steal in 31 minutes of Monday's loss to the Bucks.

Advice: Jackson has been struggling, to put it mildly, scoring nine or fewer points in three of his last four games. His shot isn't falling and he's averaging just 9.0 points, 1.4 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 3-pointers on 36 percent shooting in his last five games. He's due to break out of his funk soon, but for now, Jackson is a tough guy to start in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Monday, 7:49 pm
  • Briante Weber could get some extra mins Mon
With both Klay Thompson (heel) and Shaun Livingston (personal) unavailable for Monday's matchup with the Nuggets, Briante Weber could see some extended minutes with the Warriors.

Advice: Weber may be able to flirt with minutes in the teens tonight, but that's still not enough time for him to make a difference in most leagues. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com Monday, 1:08 pm
  • Briante Weber will get another 10-day deal
The Warriors are planning to sign Briante Weber to another 10-day deal.

Advice: He's played a total of 11 minutes in three appearances, scoring six points with two boards, one assist and one steal in that span. Weber is a lot of fun to watch and is an exciting defender, but he doesn't have a great path to minutes in Golden State and belongs on the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Feb 13, 8:21 am
  • Darren Collison scores 20 points in 41 mins
Darren Collison hit 7-of-16 shots for 20 points with eight assists, six rebounds, three steals and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes on Sunday against the Pelicans.

Advice: Collison played big minutes once again and has now seen a two percent boost in usage over his last five games. During that stretch, he has averaged 38.4 minutes, 20 points, five assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game. Collison should continue to thrive so long as Ty Lawson (adductor) is sidelined. The Kings’ next game is on Tuesday against the Lakers, who are yielding the fifth most fantasy points per game to point guards. Rotoworld.com Feb 12, 8:48 pm
  • Tyreke Evans (ankle) quiet in return Sunday
Tyreke Evans (left ankle) returned from a two-game absence on Sunday with seven points (2-of-6 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, one assist and two steals in 15 minutes during the Pelicans' road loss.

Advice: Evans was on a 20-minute limit and should stay there for the team's final games before the All-Star break on Monday (at Phoenix) and Wednesday (at Memphis). He hasn't played more than 28 minutes in a game all season and has been a fantasy liability since returning to action on Dec. 15, so there's no reason to think he'll post top-150 value after the All-Star break. Rotoworld.com Feb 12, 8:39 pm
    Player Note

  • Reggie Jackson struggles in Sunday's loss
Reggie Jackson hit 1-of-5 shots and 4-of-4 free throws for six points, one assist and two steals in 17 minutes on Sunday against the Raptors.

Advice: Jackson struggled once again and was outperformed by Ish Smith. Jackson has hit a rough patch, averaging 25.8 minutes, 8.8 points, 6.2 assists, and 1.8 rebounds per game in his last six heading into this contest. He has also played fewer than 30 minutes in eight consecutive games. Although his recent performances can be frustrating to fantasy owners, he remains a hold. Rotoworld.com Feb 12, 5:47 pm
  • Tyreke Evans (ankle) to play 20 mins Sunday
Tyreke Evans (ankle) will play "about 20 minutes" vs. the Kings on Sunday, according to coach Alvin Gentry.

Advice: Evans is returning from a two-game absence and it's a good sign that the typically cautious Pelicans are rolling him out there prior to the All-Star break. His minutes will likely be monitored all the way, however, which limits his appeal as a rest-of-season fantasy option. Rotoworld.com Feb 12, 4:47 pm

  • Tyler Ulis scores career-high 13 points
Tyler Ulis scored a career-high 13 points with two rebounds, six assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes against the Rockets on Saturday.

Advice: Brandon Knight was awful in this game, so this was a good night for Ulis to move up on the depth chart. Coach Earl Watson talked up Ulis after the game and made it seem like more minutes could be headed his way. He's only a stash in deep leagues, of course. Rotoworld.com Feb 11, 9:12 pm
  • Russell Westbrook scores 47 in loss to GSW
Russell Westbrook tried to put the team on his back during a 130-114 loss to the Warriors on Saturday, scoring 47 points and adding 11 rebounds, eight assists, one steal, three 3-pointers and 11 turnovers in 37 minutes.

Advice: He made 14-of-26 from the field and 16-of-18 from the line to get him to his 47.2 usage rate today. Westbrook looked angry for most of this game and he was yelling "I'm coming" to Kevin Durant in the third quarter despite the Warriors being up 18 at that time. The turnovers have also been a problem for Westbrook with five double-digit turnover games this season, which is the most for a player in any season over the last 30 years. The Thunder are sitting in the seventh seed and aren't playing nearly as well as they were earlier this year. Rotoworld.com Feb 11, 8:48 pm
  • Antetokounmpo scores 20 w/ 10 assists in win
Giannis Antetokounmpo nearly triple-doubled in a 116-100 win over the Pacers on Saturday, scoring 20 points with 10 assists and eight rebounds.

Advice: He logged 34 minutes and shot 4-of-9 from the field, adding two blocks, one steal and two turnovers. Giannis has been super aggressive sans Jabari Parker (knee) and finished 12-of-14 from the line tonight after scoring a career-high 41 points and hitting 18-of-21 free throws on Friday vs. the Lakers. His biggest accomplishment was getting Paul George into early foul trouble, as the Pacers were forced to switch Glenn Robinson III and C.J. Miles onto him -- Giannis had a field day against them. He gets a matchup with the Pistons on Monday. Rotoworld.com Feb 11, 6:42 pm
  • Tyreke Evans (ankle) probable for Sunday
Tyreke Evans (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game vs. the Kings.

Advice: He's missed two games in a row and remains day-to-day with a left ankle sprain, but the upgrade from questionable to probable is a really good sign. The Pelicans are usually pretty cautious with injuries, but Evans is trending in the right direction. We'll have an update after the morning shootaround. His expected return will likely reduce Tim Frazier's workload, but keep in mind that E'Twaun Moore (personal) isn't expected to play. Rotoworld.com Feb 11, 6:10 pm

  • Jrue Holiday goes off against Wolves
Jrue Holiday scored 25 points with six rebounds, 12 assists, five steals, nine turnovers and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes against the Wolves on Friday.

Advice: Hey, Draymond Green wasn't the only guy to post a big stat line with plenty of steals. Holiday becomes the sixth player since 1984 to record that stat line in points, assists, boards and steals in 38 minutes or less. Holiday is one of the hottest properties in fantasy as a top-10 player in his last 12 games. He won't be this good, so he is a sell-high player. He's still likely to be an early-round guy going forward. Rotoworld.com Feb 10, 10:22 pm
  • Darren Collison scores 22, hits game-winner
Darren Collison scored 22 points and hit the game-winning layup with 3.5 seconds remaining in Friday's 108-107 win over the Hawks.

Advice: The Kings outscored the Hawks 34-23 in the fourth quarter and came all the way back from a 22-point deficit. Collison logged 44 minutes with Ty Lawson (groin) watching from the sidelines, shooting 8-of-16 from the field and 4-of-5 from the line with four assists, three rebounds, two steals and two triples with just one turnover. If Lawson misses more time, Collison should have another strong game vs. the Pelicans on Sunday -- New Orleans is allowing the third most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season.
