  • Joakim Noah ready to redeem himself
Joakim Noah said he's ready to redeem himself for testing positive for Androgen.

Advice: He still has 12 games left on his suspension, so he won't be playing until at least Nov. 13. Noah was a nightmare last season after the Knicks gave him a four-year, $72 million deal, but the rebuilding team may actually not play him enough to make that contract worthwhile. Willy Hernangomez is still a decent fantasy target in the later rounds. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:36 pm

  • Antetokounmpo (knee) to miss Eurobasket
Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) announced on his Facebook page that he is currently unable to practice and will not play for Greece at Eurobasket.

Advice: We first learned that Antetokounmpo was dealing with "knee discomfort" earlier this month, as he was unable to practice for five days in preparation for Eurobasket. However, he reportedly had an MRI, which came back clean, and it appeared the issue was behind him. Giannis played in Greece's next game, vs. Montenegro, last weekend, scoring 20 points. After that contest, he took off for a scheduled tour of China. At this point, we don't have any further details as to the extent of the injury. We'll pass along an update as soon as one is provided. • Beasley confident he'll play his best in NYC
Michael Beasley said he believes playing in New York will "bring the best out of [him]."

Advice: Beasley sounded supremely confident in his first interview as a Knick. "I’ll bring what they saw in college,’’ said Beasley. "I just need the opportunity to show that... I’ve always been a walking bucket. Nobody can stop me, hasn’t stopped me my last nine years." Beasley's playing time and scoring opportunities will be determined by what happens with Carmelo Anthony. If the Knicks trade Melo and don't bring back another small forward, then Beasley may be inserted into the starting lineup. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:45 am
  • Jeff Withey gets one-year deal with Mavs
Jeff Withey agreed to a one-year deal with the Mavs.

Advice: The Mavs still haven't brought back Nerlens Noel yet, but Withey should still have a tough time making the Mavs roster. Withey did get one start last season and played in 51 games, averaging 2.9 points per effort. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:49 pm

  • Gerald Henderson undergoes hip surgery
Gerald Henderson underwent hip surgery on Thursday.

Advice: Henderson has been dealing with nagging hip pain for over five years and finally decided he wanted to have the hip operated on. According to his agent, Henderson will start rehab as early as next week in preparation for his return to the NBA. Henderson is still a free agent, so he'll have to convince a team he is healthy enough to play once he gets close to 100%. He won't have fantasy relevance anytime in the near future.
