  • Kings host FA workouts for Alonzo Gee & more
The Kings hosted eight free agents during workout on Wednesday, including Alonzo Gee, Phil Pressey, JaKarr Sampson and Ben Bentil.

Advice: We're very early in the free-agent process and there's no reason to think any of these players will hold fantasy value, on the Kings or any other team. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:46 pm

  • Jaylen Brown (hip) questionable for Game 5
Jaylen Brown (right hip pointer) is questionable for Game 5 on Thursday.

Advice: He's been a key piece to the Celtics these days, especially with Isaiah Thomas (hip) out for the season. Brown played 20 minutes in Game 4 and he's likely looking at more minutes, assuming he's healthy enough to go. If he can't go at home, there should be more big-ball lineups with Jonas Jerebko while Kelly Olynyk may play more. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:09 pm

  • Seth Curry more confident going into Year-4
Seth Curry said that Rick Carlisle putting him on the floor for big minutes in meaningful games helped his confidence during his first year in Dallas.

Advice: "We obviously had a lot of injuries early on this season, so some of the young guys got an opportunity to play big minutes," said Curry. "A lot of time the young guys come in and play minutes, but it’s not really meaningful basketball. We had a lot of meaningful minutes to play trying to win games, and it helped me out to get my confidence going, playing every night and trying to play well." Curry put in career-highs across the board during his first year with the Mavs, and he'll make for a fine mid-round pick in next year's drafts. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:56 am

  • Pat Connaughton could make the jump to MLB
Pat Connaughton hinted during a recent interview that he may consider taking his talents to the MLB.

Advice: Connaughton still has one more year remaining on his rookie deal with the Trail Blazers, but only the first two years of that contract were guaranteed, and he really hasn't seen many opportunities during his first two years in the league. "[I'm] not going to unrealistically chase a dream if it appears that dream is getting farther and farther away." said Connaughton. He was drafted by the Orioles during the fourth-round of the 2014 MLB draft, and Orioles executive VP has made it clear that he would welcome him to the team should he opt to switch careers and play professional baseball. • Zach LaVine (knee) making solid progress
Zach LaVine said he's making solid progress in his recovery from his torn left ACL.

Advice: "Everything is going well. I have progress right now, doing everything I can do to get better—shooting, strengthening, lifting, all that good stuff," said LaVine. "The doctor said my knee is as healthy as it can get at this point right now." LaVine is still only able to run on an AlterG Anti-Gravity treadmill, but according to his teammate Ricky Rubio (who has also dealt with an ACL tear), LaVine is ahead of schedule in his recovery. That being said, LaVine remains without an official timetable to return, and there are no guarantees he'll be ready for the start of the 2017-18 season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:35 am
