  • Haslem comments on Dwyane Wade
Udonis Haslem said his advice to Dwyane Wade is to take it "one day at a time."

Advice: "We kind of understand the direction that Chicago is going in," Haslem said. "We kind of understand the direction that Dwyane wants to go in the last couple of years of his career. The business side of things sometimes doesn't always allow both sides to co-exist." Wade is expected to be bought out at some point during the season and he could wind up going back to the Heat. • Boston has expressed interest in Kyrie Irving
The Celtics have expressed interest in Kyrie Irving but have not yet made a formal offer, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Advice: The Cavs are determined to get back a young, promising player in any potential Irving trade, as they are unsure if LeBron James will re-sign next summer. The Celtic they are reportedly keen on is Jayson Tatum. Boston certainly has the assets to make a very tempting offer, but the fact that the two teams are likely to meet again in the Eastern Conference Finals complicates the situation. Wojnarowski believes the Cavs may wait until September before engaging in "aggressive conversations." Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:55 am
  • SVG willing to pay luxury tax to keep Bradley
Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said team owner Tom Gores is more than willing to wade into luxury tax territory to retain Avery Bradley.

Advice: "The finances will not inhibit our ability to re-sign Avery at whatever it takes," SVG said. "If we’re in a situation where we want Avery back and Avery wants to be here, we’ll be able to bring him back." Assuming Bradley commands a max deal as a free agent next summer, the Pistons will more than likely have to cross the projected tax line of $123 million to re-sign him. SVG loves his 3-and-D players and Bradley is one of the best in the NBA, so it's hard to imagine the Pistons letting him walk. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:58 am
  • Jackson says Bradley will elevate his game
Reggie Jackson said the addition of Avery Bradley will "elevate" his own game.

Advice: "I expect him to hold me accountable," Jackson said. "Try to get the best out of him and I expect him to try to get the best out of me. Especially being around the same age, it's going to be fun to lead this team and continue to battle and try to get better every day in practice and [in games]." Bradley gives the Pistons another reliable ball handler, so that should take some pressure off R-Jax. He's had the full offseason to get his knee right and is looking to bounce back after a disappointing 2016-17 campaign. If you're targeting Jackson, there's no need to reach for him until the later rounds. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 9:39 am
  • Jamal Murray bothered by the trade rumors
Jamal Murray said the trade rumors this summer have been "nerve wracking."

Advice: "It’s different knowing I could be in Cleveland right now. I could be in Minnesota," Murray said. "I could be anywhere in a couple days. It’s kind of nerve wracking because you don’t know what’s going on and there are so many rumors. I just have to stay ready and prepared for any opportunity." We're big fans of Murray over here and are expecting a breakout with the Nuggets and their elite offense, so a trade would certainly hurt his value. For now, it sounds like the trade rumors have slightly cooled, but it's possible Murray is in a Kyrie Irving trade. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 11:50 am
