  • Marcus Morris goes off for 25 points in Game 5
    Marcus Morris Sr. shot 10-of-13 from the field and 0-of-1 from the foul line in Wednesday’s loss to the Celtics, accumulating 25 points, three rebounds, and five 3-pointers in 33 minutes.

    Advice: With Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, and Caris LeVert sidelined, the Cavaliers needed additional scoring from someone. Enter Morris, who went off for a season-high 25 points. To say this was a departure from the norm for the veteran center would be an understatement; he scored 30 points total during the regular season and reached double figures once during the postseason (Game 5 against Orlando).   • Owns glass in Game 5 double-double
    Horford accumulated 22 points (8-15 FG, 6-13 3Pt), 15 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and one steal in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 113-98 win over the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Horford dominated the boards in a series-clinching win Wednesday, leading all players in the contest in rebounds to go along with a handful of assists, a team-high trio of blocks and ending as one of two Celtics with 20 or more points in a double-double performance.   • Evan Mobley scores game-high 33 points in Game 5
    Evan Mobley shot 15-of-24 from the field and 3-of-5 from the foul line in Wednesday’s 113-98 loss to the Celtics, tallying 33 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocked shots in 43 minutes.

    Advice: With Jarrett Allen again sidelined, Mobley did his best to help the Cavaliers force a Game 6. He fell short in his efforts, but this was a good performance for the third-year big man. Statistically speaking, Mobley’s 2023-24 season went as planned. He had a Yahoo ADP of 41.7 and produced at that level in 8- and 9-cat formats, ranking behind only Donovan Mitchell among Cavaliers players. However, Mobley only appeared in 50 regular season games due to injury. While capable of providing greater value to fantasy managers, Mobley sharing the court with Allen may limit his ceiling.   • CLE starting Garland, Strus, Okoro, Wade, Mobley
    Darius Garland, Max Strus, Isaac Okoro, Dean Wade, and Evan Mobley will start Wednesday’s Game 5 against the Celtics.

    Advice: Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, and Caris LeVert are all out for Game 5, which could be Cleveland’s final game of the season.   • Heads to bench
    Achiuwa isn't in the starting lineup in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers, Tony East of SI.com reports.

    Advice: Achiuwa will be replaced by Miles McBride in the starting five Tuesday. Achiuwa is averaging 2.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.7 minutes across his last 10 appearances coming off the bench. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 4:38 pm

    Walker provided five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 FT), one rebound, two assists and one steal over nine minutes during Sunday's 121-89 victory over the Knicks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Walker played nine minutes off the bench, joining his fellow benchwarmers as the Pacers blew out the Knicks.     Jackson registered 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and two steals in 19 minutes during Sunday's 121-89 win over New York in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Jackson played a substantial role Sunday in reaching double digits in points for the first time in the playoffs, as the Pacers easily accounted for the Knicks, leveling the series at 2-2. This was an ugly loss for New York, while Indiana fans had the time of their lives at the Knicks' expense.     Aaron Nesmith (right shoulder soreness) is available for Sunday’s game against the Knicks.

    Advice: Nesmith is available after tweaking his shoulder during the second half of Friday’s Game 3 victory. The Pacers had some success using him as Jalen Brunson’s primary defender, so look for that to be Nesmith’s assignment on Sunday afternoon.     Brissett closed Saturday's 106-93 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with no counting stats in one minute.

    Advice: Brissett played one minute of garbage time as the Celtics held on for a relatively comfortable victory Saturday. Barring another sizable margin, Brissett is unlikely to leave the bench on most nights, especially as we get deeper into the playoffs. Rotowire.com May 12, 4:33 am
