  • Andrew Nembhard finishes blowout with 20 points
    Andrew Nembhard accumulated 20 points (8-of-10 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

    Advice: While he did commit four turnovers, Nembhard played very well in his first career Game 7. The second-year guard has fit nicely next to Tyrese Haliburton, and he reached double figures in each of the series’ final three games. Indiana will need similar production from Nembhard in the Eastern Conference Finals, as they’ll face the team with the NBA’s best record in the Boston Celtics. Game 1 is on Tuesday night in Boston.   • Pascal Siakam tallies 20 points, full stat line
    Pascal Siakam finished Sunday’s Game 7 win over the Knicks with 20 points (8-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

    Advice: Siakam was one of the few players on the Pacers roster with prior experience in a Game 7, and his leadership helped set the stage for Sunday’s 130-109 victory. The brief return of OG Anunoby did not impact Spicy P, as the Knicks forward could barely move due to his strained hamstring. Siakam was once again efficient offensively, hitting a few 3-pointers while doing most of his damage in the mid-range.     Advice: Haliburton once again led the way for Indiana offensively in a winner-take-all victory, leading all Pacers in scoring and threes made while handing out a half-dozen assists to help the Pacers advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.     McConnell finished with 12 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt), seven assists, two rebounds, one block and one steal over 23 minutes in Sunday's 130-109 win over New York in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: McConnell provided a spark off the bench for Indiana in a winner-take-all contest, handing out a team-high assist total while ending as one of six players with a double-digit point total to help the Pacers advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. McConnell stepped up his level of play in the series against New York, recording at least 10 points and seven assists in three outings.     Brunson has been diagnosed with a left hand fracture and won't return to Sunday's Game 7 against the Pacers.

    Advice: Brunson finishes Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with 17 points (6-17 FG) and nine assists in 29 minutes. The Pacers hold a commanding double-digit lead, but even if the Knicks pull off a comeback and extend their season, Brunson would presumably miss extended time due to the injury.     Anunoby (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's Game 7 against the Pacers, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

    Advice: Smith and ESPN's broadcast said Anunoby, who started in his return from a four-game absence and scored five points in five minutes before exiting, won't return Sunday.   • Returning to bench
    McBride won't start Sunday's Game 7 against the Pacers, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.

    Advice: With OG Anunoby (hamstring) returning from a four-game absence and Josh Hart playing through an abdomen injury he suffered in Game 6, McBride will shift to his usual reserve role.     Advice: Doncic did just enough to get his team over the line, recording his third straight triple-double despite dealing with multiple injuries. Heading into the Western Conference Finals, Dallas will be hoping that Doncic can continue to play through his ailments. With a physical matchup almost certainly in the cards, Doncic is simply going to have to absorb any contact that might come his way while trying to maintain his composure.     Jones totaled 22 points (8-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 40 minutes during Saturday's 117-116 victory over Oklahoma City in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

    Advice: Jones scored at least 17 points for the third straight game, playing a season-high 40 minutes as the Mavericks took care of business in front of their home fans. Jones' offensive output has been a blessing for the Mavericks, providing them with another viable scoring threat alongside Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. Coming up against either the Nuggets or the Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals is a daunting task. If Dallas is to pose a serious threat, Jones may need to maintain his offensive momentum.
