  • Jamal Murray (concussion protocol) out vs. LA
Jamal Murray (concussion protocol) will not play against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: The injury happened on Tuesday night and Murray was diagnosed with a facial contusion. He did return to the game in the fourth, but the team monitored him through the night and Wednesday morning. Murray does not have a timetable to return, but hopefully this is more of a day-to-day issue. With him out, that should mean Emmanuel Mudiay gets in the rotation again while Will Barton plays more PG. That should also open up minutes for Torrey Craig and Malik Beasley. • Dante Exum cleared for non-contact work
Dante Exum (shoulder) has been cleared for non-contact drills.

Advice: He was spotted taking some jumpers before Monday's game, so Exum does appear to be progressing. The Jazz struck gold on Donovan Mitchell, so it's going to be even tougher for Exum to get minutes when he's healthy again. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:30 pm
    Injured
  • Rudy Gay out a couple more weeks
Rudy Gay (heel) is "still a couple weeks" from returning to action, according to coach Gregg Popovich.

Advice: The Spurs are suddenly thin again with Kawhi Leonard (quad) and Manu Ginobili (thigh) also hurting. Kyle Anderson is likely going to start for the foreseeable future and could have value in 12-team leagues. Expect to see more Davis Bertans and Bryn Forbes, as well. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:38 am
    Injured
  • Marcus Smart (illness) is questionable
Marcus Smart (illness) is questionable to play against the 76ers on Thursday.

Advice: He is not feeling well on Wednesday and did not practice. With Kyrie Irving (shoulder) also questionable, the Celtics could be thin at guard with Terry Rozier, Shane Larkin and Jaylen Brown picking up some extra minutes. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:23 am

  • Guerschon Yabusele (illness) is questionable
Guerschon Yabusele (illness) is questionable for Thursday against the 76ers.

Advice: He is under the weather, but the Celtics likely won't need the Dancing Bear anyway. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:21 am
  • Stanley Johnson (hip) skips shootaround
Stanley Johnson (hip) did not go through shootaround and he remains questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Raptors.

Advice: Johnson skipping shootaround isn't a great sign regarding his status for tonight's game, and we should get official confirmation on his status closer to tip-off. If he's out, Reggie Bullock will continue to flirt with minutes in the mid-30s. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:21 am
  • Derrick Rose, Shumpert practice on Wednesday
Derrick Rose (ankle) and Iman Shumpert (knee) practiced on Wednesday.

Advice: Rose said he thinks he'll be able to give it a go on Thursday against the Magic, but he wants to test his ankle at shootaround before making an official decision. That said, as long as the Cavs are healthy, neither of these guys will be on the floor enough to make an impact in fantasy hoops. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:04 am
    Injured
  • Larry Nance (hip) probable for Wednesday
Larry Nance (right hip pointer) is probable to play Wednesday vs. Oklahoma City.

Advice: Nance tweaked his hip on Monday but was able to play through it, and it sounds like that's what he'll be doing tonight. Check back for official confirmation on his status closer to tip-off. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:54 am
  • Brandon Ingram (ankle) will play on Wednesday
Brandon Ingram (ankle) will return from a one-game absence on Wednesday vs. the Thunder.

Advice: Ingram practiced in full on Tuesday, and considering he only missed one game, he shouldn't be dealing with any sort of minutes limit tonight. His return to the court should shift Josh Hart back to the second unit, but with Lonzo Ball (knee) out, Hart's minutes might not take a significant hit. Ingram owners can feel free to get him active. • Richaun Holmes (illness) out Thursday vs. BOS
Richaun Holmes (gastroenteritis) will not suit up for Thursday's game in Boston.

Advice: This will be Holmes second straight game on the sidelines due to the stomach bug, which will translate to more minutes for Trevor Booker and Amir Johnson. Holmes is only worth owning in deep leagues as a Joel Embiid-handcuff. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:42 am
  • Marc Gasol (illness) questionable Wednesday
Marc Gasol (illness) did not go through shootaround and is questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Gasol is likely going to be a game-time call tonight, but if he is forced to the sidelines, Brandan Wright would have an opportunity to start while Tyreke Evans' usage rate would likely go into the ridiculous range. Deyonta Davis would also have the opportunity for some extended minutes, and JaMychal Green would spend more time at the five than usual. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:36 am
  • Dakari Johnson recalled from the G-League
Dakari Johnson has been recalled from the G-League.

Advice: He only plays if the game is a blowout. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:56 am
  • Frank Kaminsky (ankle) upgraded to probable
Frank Kaminsky (right ankle sprain) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards.

Advice: Kaminsky tweaked his ankle during the fourth quarter of Monday's win over the Pistons, but it looks like he might not need to miss any additional game-time action. Check back for official confirmation on his status closer to tip-off. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:35 am
  • Report: Bulls shopping Jerian Grant
The Bulls are reportedly shopping Jerian Grant.

Advice: With Zach LaVine back, and Kris Dunn excelling at point guard, Grant has become an expendable piece for the Bulls. They also would probably like to get a good look at Cameron Payne (foot) after the All-Star break, and moving Grant would make it easier to do that. It's unlikely Grant will be much more than a backup regardless of where he winds up, so the name on the jersey won't have much impact on his status as a non-option in fantasy hoops. • Kristaps Porzingis says game slowing down
Kristaps Porzingis said he was forcing things too much on offense during his cold shooting stretch.

Advice: "I’m just trying to slow down mentally. That’s helping me know," Porzingis said. "I’m not thinking I need to score as much. I just want to be involved. When the shots come, I’m going to take them, and they’re going to be higher-percentage shots, not as many contested shots and not as much me fighting to get the bucket." Porzingis is adjusting to being the No. 1 guy in the offense, but with Tim Hardaway Jr. back, and Porzingis being more selective with his shots, his shooting percentages should start to trend upward. • J.J. Barea (groin) hopeful for Saturday
J.J. Barea (groin) is hopeful that he'll be able to get back to the court for Saturday's game in Portland.

Advice: Barea missed Tuesday's game due to the groin issue, but said he "should be okay," and he'll have had a full week off going into Saturday's game so maybe he'll be able to get back out there. If Barea is able to return to the court, Devin Harris' minutes will take a hit. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:54 am

  • Rajon Rondo posts nice line in another win
Rajon Rondo got some revenge against the Celtics Tuesday with seven points, eight assists, two steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer in 30 minutes.

Advice: He's been a bit quiet lately, but is still averaging 8.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 1.2 steals over his last five games, hitting 52 percent of his shots. If you can live with the low scoring, he's worth holding. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:53 pm
  • Shabazz Napier stays relevant on Tuesday
Shabazz Napier played through a sore back and hit 5-of-9 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, three rebounds, six assists and a steal in 20 minutes of Tuesday's win over the Suns.

Advice: While it's true he's a must-start any time the Blazers are without Damian Lillard, he's actually managed to stay afloat with Lillard back. He returned to action four games ago and Napier has averaged 11.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.5 3-pointers over that stretch, despite sitting out the entire second half on Sunday with the back problem. Those aren't must-own numbers and he's tough to trust with Lillard healthy, but he might be worth grabbing, especially as a Lillard insurance policy. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:01 pm
  • Jusuf Nurkic plays just 22 minutes in win
Jusuf Nurkic hit 4-of-9 shots for nine points, seven rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 22 minutes of Tuesday's easy win over the Suns.

Advice: He played the opening six minutes of the game but was then benched for the rest of the first half, despite not being in foul trouble. His minutes got back on track in the second half, but it is concerning that he's only played 22 and 20 minutes in each of his last two games. Nurkic will look to get back on track against the Pacers on Thursday, and then has a dream matchup against the Mavericks on Saturday. Dallas gets torched by opposing centers every night and Nikola Jokic put them on blast for 29 points, 18 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block tonight. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:41 pm
  • Devin Booker goes off for 43 points in loss
Devin Booker went off for 43 points in Tuesday's 118-111 loss to the Blazers.

Advice: That's the third game of his career with 40+ points. He did everything he could to give the Suns a chance with 21 points in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough as they dropped their third straight game. He finished 14-of-29 from the field and hit all 10 of his free throws with eight assists, six rebounds, two steals, one block and five triples, becoming the first Phoenix Sun to record 43+ points and 8+ assists since Stephon Marbury in 2003. He's quickly becoming one of the top shooting guards in the NBA. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:30 pm
