  • Kevin Love scores 21 points in easy win
Kevin Love said he doesn't think the Cavs are underdogs in the NBA Finals.

Advice: Of course, it's not like he's going to say the Cavs are underdogs to give a new version of the Chris Paul clip from the Utah series. Love said he thought the underdog angle could be used as motivation, though. Coach Tyronn Lue also said he's not worried about the Las Vegas odds and that the team shouldn't need any motivation from that. Love's defense has vastly improved lately and it'll be interesting to see how much he's used at center against the Warriors. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:26 pm
  • Clippers may have tough time keeping LMAM
It could be tough for the Clippers to keep J.J. Redick and Luc Mbah a Moute, according to Bobby Marks of The Vertical.

Advice: Basically, it'll be tough to bring those two back after the Clippers agreed to deals with Jamal Crawford, Austin Rivers and Wesley Johnson last summer. Mbah a Moute is fully expected to opt out of his 2017-18 player option to make him an unrestricted free agent at age 30. LMAM had a positive year as a defender and he should be a target for several teams. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:12 am
  • Lee to resume basketball activities in July
David Lee (knee) is expected to resume basketball activities in 6-8 weeks.

Advice: In case you missed it on Friday, he doesn't need surgery for his partially torn patellar tendon. Lee has a $1.6 million player option coming up, so he should be close to ready for basketball activities on July 1. He's said he likes playing in San Antonio after he wasn't in great physical shape while with the Celtics, so Lee may choose to pick up the option. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:29 am

  • Matt Barnes does not plan to retire
Matt Barnes said that he does not plan on retiring at the end of the season.

Advice: This is Barnes' 14th season in the league. He has played for nine teams. "I think I’ve still got a little bit left in the tank," Barnes said. "Obviously, I’d like to come back here and finish up here, but I feel like I’ve got another year or two left in the tank." He has likely played well enough this season to earn a one-year deal at the veteran's minimum next season. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:07 am
  • Clippers heavy favorites to re-sign Blake
The Clippers are "widely regarded as strong favorites" to retain Blake Griffin (toe), according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Advice: The Spurs are expected to pursue Chris Paul, which may also affect Griffin's decision to stay with the Clippers. The Clips will be able to offer Griffin more money when free agency starts on July 1. Griffin's durability has fallen off with only 35 games played in 2015-16 and 61 games in 2016-17 before a plantar plate injury ended his playoff run. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:24 pm
  • Kevin Durant has some nicks, bruises
Kevin Durant said he's still dealing with some "nicks and bruises" from the physical play in the postseason.

Advice: He added he feels good despite this minor injury concern. The Warriors have over a week off, so KD should be getting close to 100 percent for Game 1 on Thursday. Durant has been ridiculously efficient in the playoffs, posting a 67.3 true shooting percentage. According to Las Vegas gambling sites, he's the favorite to land the Finals MVP with Stephen Curry right behind him. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:59 pm
  • Warriors stress out LeBron James?
LeBron James said he didn't want to think about the Warriors on Thursday night because "it's too stressful."

Advice: To put some context on this, LeBron was asked about the Warriors just after the Cavs won the Eastern Conference, so he was talking about wanting to enjoy the win instead of talking about his upcoming opponent. James is playing some of his best ball of his career and has now scored more points in the postseason than any other player. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:42 pm
  • Draymond says the Warriors are relaxed
Draymond Green said the Warriors are more relaxed this year.

Advice: "Last year we were chasing 73 wins," Green said. He's been vocal about wanting this rematch against the Cavs and said earlier this year he wants to "annihilate" them. Green is likely going to have to guard LeBron James a lot in this series, but he will be the last line of defense against a red-hot Cleveland offense. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:34 pm
  • Al Horford says he's a little banged up
Al Horford hinted he may have been playing through an injury in the postseason.

Advice: "Everybody has bumps and bruises as season goes on," Horford said. "That’s all I’ll say. I’m fine, just get healthy." Horford has been fairly healthy since the All-Star Game, missing just two games since the beginning of February. He saw his minutes really rise in the playoffs with 33.9 per game, but he likely would've played more had the Celtics been involved in closer games. Over the course of the whole regular season, Horford was a mild letdown for fantasy, so he may be an early-mid guy next year. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:00 pm

  • Jaylen Brown's hip will be fine with rest
Jaylen Brown (hip) said he was told his hip pointer will heal with rest.

Advice: After the Game 5 loss, Brown said on a scale of 1-10 for pain in his hip, it was an 11, and it was 16 after the fall. He also said he wants to play in Summer League in July, so it sounds like he'll only need a couple weeks to get right. After a handful of eye-catching games in the past month, Brown is going to be a popular sleeper next season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:16 am
  • Gerald Green says he want to return to Boston
Pending free agent Gerald Green said that he hopes to re-sign with Boston this summer.

Advice: Green stated that his main goal is to return to Boston and help them win a championship. "I've felt at home in a number of places, but definitely here, with the city and the fans," said Green. The Celtics have over $30 million in cap space this summer, so their priority will be landing far bigger fish, such as Gordon Hayward. They also have to make room for some of the players they have been stashing overseas. There may not be a roster spot available for Green. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:34 am
  • Jae Crowder scores 11 points in loss
Jae Crowder scored 11 points with six rebounds, three assists, one block and no turnovers in 29 minutes against the Cavs on Thursday.

Advice: He's been handling the ball a lot more than usual and his assists have been up lately. Crowder's contract is a mega bargain and he'll be ready to roll as Boston's small forward for next year. He'll be a mid-round pick in fantasy once again. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:59 pm

  • Amir Johnson scores one point
Amir Johnson scored one point with three rebounds in six minutes against the Cavs on Thursday.

Advice: He didn't play in the first half and wasn't really in the rotation until this game got out of hand. Johnson is going to be a free agent this summer and it's possible the Celtics don't bring him back after an underwhelming finish to his season. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:56 pm
  • Magic Johnson high on Ingram
President Magic Johnson considers Brandon Ingram as the Lakers' most untouchable player.

Advice: "I think that we're excited about Brandon, his length, his size, his agility, his athleticism," Johnson said. "And then when you think about, you know, he was a baby coming in, in his first year last season and we see that he really has a high ceiling and we're excited about what he can possibly turn into." Ingram didn't have a great rookie season, especially as a scorer. However, he is still very raw and coach Luke Walton played him at four positions. He's only a late-round flier for now. • Klay thinks about 2016 Finals every day
Klay Thompson said he thinks about the 2016 NBA Finals every day.

Advice: "I always thought about it. We were so close last year … a game away," Thompson said. "I would be lying to you if I didn’t think about it all the time." The Warriors haven't had a 3-1 lead since last year, but all of NBA Twitter will be ready for the jokes if the Warriors have another 3-1 lead next month. As for Thompson, his usage rate in the playoffs has dropped to just 21.0, which is down from 26.2 in the regular season. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 1:18 pm
  • Deyonta Davis working on conditioning
Deyonta Davis said he's focusing on his conditioning this summer.

Advice: He also said he's going to try to improve his all-around game. Davis' foot injury from last summer kept him to just 36 games during his rookie year. He was a possible lottery pick before the 2016 draft, but the injury red flags dropped him to 31. He'll likely be going to Summer League. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 1:02 pm
  • Marreese Speights looking for $8.2 million
Marreese Speights is looking for the mid-level exception of about $8.2 million per year according to Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

Advice: Speights has already officially opted out his player option for next season, so he's an unrestricted free agent this summer. With the Clippers hoping to re-sign Blake Griffin and Chris Paul to max deals, Speights' contract demands are likely going to be too high for the Clippers to bring him back. He's a nice per-minute guy with averages of 8.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 0.5 blocks and 1.3 treys in 15.7 minutes per game, so hopefully he can find himself a nice role this summer. • Willie Reed hopeful to re-sign w/ Heat
Willie Reed reiterated his desire to remain with the Heat next season.

Advice: "I mean you have an emotional attachment to these guys. This is a special team. We made history this year," Reed said. "Of course I want to be here. But we will see what happens when it comes to time to be able to talk and discuss things like that." Reed has until June 29 to decide on his $1.6 million player option, but it's an easy decision for him to opt out. Reed would be stuck behind Hassan Whiteside if he stays with the Heat, so a move away from Miami would be good news for his fantasy value. The 27-year-old big man should be poised for a career year after averaging 5.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 14.5 minutes per game. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:01 am
  • Juan Hernangomez probable for Summer League
Nuggets F Juan Hernangomez plans to play at Summer League this season.

Advice: "I like to compete," Hernangomez said. "[The Nuggets] asked me if I was down for [Summer League] and I really would like to go and play a couple of games, be around the team and keep developing as a player." The Nuggets' prospect may also join the Spanish National Team for EuroBasket 2017, giving him plenty of momentum heading into training camp. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:24 pm
  • Heat could waive/trade Josh McRoberts
The Heat could opt to trade or waive Josh McRoberts this summer.

Advice: Other than constantly getting injured, McRoberts has done a whole lot of nothing since joining the Miami franchise, and with the Heat potentially looking to make a splash during free agency this offseason, it would make sense to get McRoberts' contract worth $6 million off the books. It's tough to envision a situation where the 30-year-old stretch-four will be worth a draft pick next season. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:27 am
