  • J.J. Redick (leg) out at least 10 days
J.J. Redick (left leg) will be re-evaluated in 10 days to two weeks.

Advice: An MRI revealed a bone edema and a small cortical crack in the fibular head of his left leg. It's important to note that he's not a lock to return in 10 days to two weeks, but Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported that Redick is likely going to miss a "short window of time." T.J. McConnell looks like a solid pickup with Philly expected to use more two-PG lineups, while we could see more of Timothe Luwawu and Jerryd Bayless. 17 minutes ago
  • Arron Afflalo and Nemanja Bjelica ejected
Arron Afflalo and Nemanja Bjelica were both ejected in the second quarter of Tuesday's game.

Advice: Both players were chirping at each other for a few minutes, but Afflalo started swinging when the two were competing for a rebound. Afflalo is likely looking at a suspension, but he shouldn't be owned in fantasy leagues anyways. While he's out, Wes Iwundu and Mario Hezonja could pick up some extra minutes. 38 minutes ago
  • Trevor Ariza was 'most aggressive' on Monday
Trevor Ariza was reportedly the "most aggressive" member of the Rockets team during Monday's locker room incident with the Clippers.

Advice: According to sources of Adrian Wojnarowski, Ariza was very determined to get into the Clippers' locker room, whereas James Harden and Chris Paul were reportedly trying to calm down the situation. A suspension will likely follow for at least one of these guys following Monday's madness, and this report from Woj indicates that Ariza could be the fall man. Today, 4:01 pm
  • Thabo Sefolosha set to undergo knee surgery
Thabo Sefolosha is scheduled to undergo season-ending knee surgery on Wednesday.

Advice: We'll have a firm timetable once he goes under the knife, but he's done for the year regardless. It looks like Jonas Jerebko will be Utah's starting four-man until Rudy Gobert (knee) get back to the court, and Royce O'Neale could be looking at minutes in the 20s. Neither of those guys offers much fantasy value at all, though. Today, 3:40 pm
  • Troy Williams (knee) questionable Thursday
Troy Williams (knee) is being listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: He's a non-factor in the rotation so his playing status is irrelevant. Today, 3:35 pm
  • James Harden (hamstring) questionable vs. MIN
James Harden (hamstring) has been upgraded to questionable for Thursday's game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: Mike D'Antoni said on Sunday that there was a chance Harden could make it back to the court for Thursday's game, although Monday's reported incident between the Clippers and the Rockets could complicate things. We're sure to get a few more updates on Harden leading up to Thursday's tip, but if he is able to get back out there, Eric Gordon would return to the bench and Gerald Green's value would take a hit. Stay tuned. Today, 3:33 pm
  • Kawhi Leonard (quad) not on the injury report
Kawhi Leonard (quad) is not being listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Nets.

Advice: Leonard also wasn't on the injury report on Monday but ended up being a late scratch, which was apparently due to his "return from injury management" program. He'll have had three full days off going into Wednesday's game, so he should be able to get out there barring a setback. Check back for another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround. Today, 2:47 pm
  • Brandon Ingram (ankle) questionable Wednesday
Brandon Ingram (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

Advice: Ingram was able to practice in full on Tuesday and said he expects to be back on the court on Wednesday night, and head coach Luke Walton echoed a similar sentiment, so he feels a bit closer to probable. Check back for another update following Wednesday morning's shootaround. Today, 12:30 pm
  • Lonzo Ball (knee) doubtful for Wednesday
Lonzo Ball (knee) is doubtful to play Wednesday vs. the Thunder.

Advice: Ball wasn't able to practice on Tuesday and head coach Luke Walton said he didn't expect Ball to be able to get out there on Wednesday night, so the doubtful tag confirms the obvious. Tyler Ennis figures to earn another start on Wednesday if Ball sits, and there will be more minutes available for guys like Josh Hart and Jordan Clarkson. Today, 12:28 pm
  • D'Angelo Russell (knee) out Wednesday vs. SAS
D'Angelo Russell (knee) will not play Wednesday vs. the Spurs.

Advice: Russell did not practice on Tuesday, but he'll be active at Wednesday morning's shootaround. He recently went through a 5-on-5 scrimmage with Brooklyn's G-League affiliate, so he has to be close. His next opportunity to get out there will be Friday against Miami. Allen Crabbe could head back to the second unit once Russell gets back to the court, and Caris LeVert's value could take a hit. Today, 11:44 am
  • Avery Bradley (groin) questionable Wednesday
Avery Bradley (groin) did not practice on Tuesday and is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Raptors.

Advice: This is concerning news, as Bradley was sidelined for seven straight games from mid-December through early January due to a right groin strain. Hopefully, this is more of a maintenance day off for Bradley, as opposed to a re-aggravation. We'll have to wait for a clear update from coach Stan Van Gundy before jumping to conclusions. Luke Kennard (thumb) and Stanley Johnson (hip) are also questionable for Wednesday, which means Detroit may be shorthanded at SG and on the wing. Today, 10:28 am
  • Fred VanVleet (knee) considered day-to-day
Fred VanVleet does not have any structural damage in his injured knee and is considered day-to-day.

Advice: VanVleet injured his right knee on a layup attempt in Monday's game vs. the Sixers. He limped off the floor and was unable to return to the contest. Fortunately, VanVleet said he was feeling better on Tuesday. We'll still consider him questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Detroit. If VanVleet is unable to play, Delon Wright would soak up additional minutes off the Raptors bench. Today, 10:20 am
  • Stanley Johnson (hip) questionable for Wed
Stanley Johnson (strained right hip flexor) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Toronto.

Advice: Johnson returned from a five-game absence last Wednesday but reaggravated his hip injury in that contest and was forced to sit out Monday's game vs. Charlotte. Reggie Bullock has played well in Johnson's absence, and the Pistons have plenty of depth on the wing, so it is unlikely Johnson will be able to earn enough playing time to make a fantasy impact even when he is fully healthy. Today, 9:03 am
  • Danuel House (illness) ruled out Tuesday
Danuel House (illness) is not traveling with the team and has been ruled out of Tuesday's game vs. Portland.

Advice: Minimal fantasy impact to note here, as House is not a part of the Suns regular rotation. He has appeared in just 11 games all season. Today, 6:15 am
  • Alex Caruso was signed by LAK on Monday January 15. Today, 1:30 am
  • Wes Johnson posts double-double off bench
Wes Johnson was good for 11 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots over 31 minutes in Monday's victory against the Rockets.

Advice: Johnson and Montrezl Harrell did a good job stepping up with DeAndre Jordan (ankle) sidelined, as they combined for six swats and were a Jordan-like 4-of-6 combined from the free-throw line. Johnson is averaging 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.7 blocked shots and 1.0 steals over his past three outings, but he'll be back to having minimal fantasy appeal in standard formats once Jordan can make his way back. Yesterday, 11:31 pm
  • Lou Williams drops 31 points in Monday's win
Lou Williams finished with a game-high 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting in Monday's 113-102 victory against the Rockets.

Advice: Williams hit 4-of-8 from behind the 3-point line while chipping in with six rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots over 40 minutes. He is having a ridiculous January, averaging 31.5 points, 5.9 assists and 2.0 rebounds across eight outings. His hot streak has come with Austin Rivers (heel) and Danilo Gallinari (glute) looking on as spectators. He might see a bit of a hit to his fantasy value once those players can return, but he'll remain a must-start fantasy option. Yesterday, 11:21 pm
  • Gerald Green involved in altercation
Gerald Green joined Trevor Ariza and James Harden in a post-game altercation Monday, as the trio tried to force their way into the locker room of the Clippers looking to confront Austin Rivers.

Advice: During the game, Green finished with 11 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals while blocking a shot. He went 4-of-14 from the field while ending up 1-of-8 from behind the 3-point line. It's uncertain if he will face any sort of a fine or disciplinary action from the league for his part in the donnybrook, but we'll keep an eye on it and pass any breaking news along. Yesterday, 10:46 pm
  • Eric Gordon bags three triples in L.A.
Eric Gordon finished with 19 points over 34 minutes in Monday's 113-102 road loss against the Clippers.

Advice: Gordon also chipped in with four rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers while going 7-of-21 overall from the floor. He was able to extend his streak with two or more 3-pointers to 14 games dating back to Dec. 16, and he has at least one three in 26 straight contests dating back to Nov. 14. He'll continue to be one of the primary scoring options in H-Town while James Harden (hamstring) is on the shelf. Yesterday, 10:32 pm
  • Chris Paul scores 19 in return to Los Angeles
Chris Paul finished with 19 points, seven assists, rebounds and a blocked shot over 35 minutes in Monday's game against the Clippers, his first game against his former team.

Advice: CP3 was given a hearty ovation from the home crowd before the game, and then the Clips spoiled the homecoming with a 113-102 victory. He finished 8-of-17 from the field, including 3-of-10 from behind the 3-point line, while turning it over just once. He has picked up the pace with James Harden (hamstring) on the mend, posting at least six or more rebounds and six or more assists in each of his seven games in January while averaging 24.8 points per game over the past six contests.
