  • Klay Thompson scores season-high 38 points
Klay Thompson torched the Bulls during a 119-112 win on Wednesday, making 12-of-22 from the field for a season-high 38 points with four rebounds, two assists and seven 3-pointers.

Advice: Stephen Curry also dropped 30, so coach Steve Kerr summed up this night for the Warriors. "Old school Splash Brothers night," Kerr said to describe this win. The Warriors have now won 14 straight games on the road and they'll get a tough test in Houston on Saturday night. Thompson is starting to get hot again and he's played 35 minutes in each of his last four games. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:42 pm
  • Terrance Ferguson to bench w/ Roberson active
Terrance Ferguson came off OKC's bench for three points, three rebounds, two steals, one assist and one 3-pointer during Wednesday's easy home win.

Advice: He played 27 minutes tonight, but that was inflated by garbage time. Ferguson began the month with a bang, dropping 24 points, six 3-pointers and three steals during a blowout vs. the Lakers, but couldn't duplicate the feat vs. L.A. tonight. Since then he's averaged 3.5 points on 25.8 percent shooting, so he should already be floating on your waiver wire. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:42 pm
  • Carmelo Anthony lights up Lakers w/ 27 points
Carmelo Anthony lit up the Lakers for a game-high 27 points on Wednesday, going 10-of-15 from the field with four 3-pointers, three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes.

Advice: Melo's altered role in OKC has led to some swings in his fantasy value, but he's settling in as a designated catch-and-shoot guy -- he was slumping from the field, so it was nice to see him find a groove tonight. He'll look to keep it going when the Thunder seek their fourth straight win vs. the visiting Cavs on Saturday. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:40 pm
  • Andre Roberson solid in return Wednesday
Andre Roberson returned to action on Wednesday with four points on 2-of-2 shooting, four rebounds, three steals, two assists, one block and zero turnovers.

Advice: Roberson logged 17 minutes in his first action since late December. He looked sharp and is averaging 26.9 minutes on the season, but OKC didn't need to push him with the game decided in the third quarter. He's a non-entity in points leagues, but has some niche appeal for defensive stats. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:40 pm
  • Brandon Ingram OK despite tweaking ankle
Brandon Ingram (sprained ankle) tweaked his ankle during Wednesday's game and sat out the final 15:31, but coach Luke Walton said he could have returned if needed.

Advice: OKC was cruising to a lopsided win tonight, so the Lakers played it safe by benching Ingram down the stretch. He finished with eight points, three assists and one rebound. The 20-year-old forward should be fine, but we'll consider him 'questionable' for Friday's home game vs. the Pacers. Check back for more information after Thursday's practice. • Kevin Durant scores just 19 points
Kevin Durant scored 19 points with eight rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 35 minutes against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: It snaps his 20-plus scoring streak that he had going since Christmas, including some eye-popping January averages of 29.6 points, 6.6 boards, 5.8 dimes, 1.4 blocks, 1.2 steals and 3.2 treys on 59.1 percent from the field in his previous games this month. KD gets a matchup against the Trevor Ariza-less Rockets on Saturday. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:24 pm
  • Omri Casspi scores four
Omri Casspi scored four points with four rebounds in 18 minutes against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: Technically, he was a DNP-CD on Monday, but coach Steve Kerr held him out because of how sensitive his back injury is. Casspi should stay on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:21 pm
  • Dillon Brooks strong again w/ 17 points
Dillon Brooks had 17 points, five boards, two steals and one assist in 32 minutes on Wednesday, making 6-of-11 FGs and 2-of-3 FTs.

Advice: The rookie sank three 3-pointers and he's now 7-of-11 from deep in his past two games. His minutes and usage are trending up, even as the Grizzlies scuffle along near the bottom of the standings, but Brooks has a lot to prove before earning fantasy owners' trust in re-draft leagues. • James Ennis (calf) looks fine Wednesday
James Ennis (calf) had four points on 2-of-6 shooting, three rebounds and three assists in a home win vs. the Knicks on Wednesday.

Advice: Ennis' availability was a rare bit of good injury news for Memphis, which was playing without Marc Gasol, Mike Conley, Chandler Parsons and Brandan Wright. He was coming off a pair of solid games but should still be viewed skeptically for fantasy purposes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:10 pm
  • Lance Thomas invisible in 15 minutes
Lance Thomas had another vacant line on Wednesday with three assists, two blocks and no other stats in 15 minutes.

Advice: Thomas didn't even attempt a shot or free throw tonight, and he's irrelevant for fantasy owners while Michael Beasley, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Doug McDermott are healthy. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:01 pm
  • Courtney Lee sets Knicks' free-throw record
Courtney Lee made 6-of-11 FGs and 4-of-4 FTs on Wednesday, scoring 18 points with two 3-pointers, three rebounds and one steal in 35 minutes.

Advice: In the process, Lee set a Knicks record by making 46 consecutive free throws. He's tops in the NBA at 96.1 percent from the stripe, and the only bad news is that he doesn't get there often with 1.8 attempts per game. He's been a sneaky mid-round fantasy value this season but could fade if New York commits to playing young guys more late in the season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:00 pm
  • Tim Hardaway Jr. plays 26 minutes Wednesday
Tim Hardaway Jr. played 26 minutes on Wednesday, posting 16 points, four rebounds, two 3-pointers and one assist.

Advice: THJ sat out Monday's game as a precaution, as it was the second game of a back-to-back set, but he looked fine in a tough loss at Memphis tonight. He came off the bench again but coach Jeff Hornacek has hinted he could resume starting soon, which would bump Lance Thomas (15 minutes) to the bench. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:00 pm
  • Nikola Mirotic scores 24 points in 27 minutes
Nikola Mirotic scored 24 points with six rebounds, three assists, one block, three steals and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Warriors on Wednesday.

Advice: He hasn't skipped a beat since returning from an illness on Saturday, scoring 18 points in 24 minutes on Monday and 16 points in 22 minutes on Saturday. Mirotic looks to be locked in for minutes in the mid 20s and playing next to Lauri Markkanen at times has helped his consistency. He should be owned in standard leagues, but he could be considered as a sell-high player because a trade would likely hurt his value. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:51 pm
  • Davis Bertans scores two points
Davis Bertans scored two points with one rebound, two assists and one turnover in 22 minutes against the Nets on Wednesday.

Advice: He was coming in fairly hot this month, averaging 12.6 points, 3.1 boards and 2.9 treys over his previous eight games. Bertans should be looking at minutes in the 20s most nights with Kawhi Leonard (quad) out indefinitely. He's not going to do too much outside of score and hit treys, so he's only worth a look in very deep leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:14 pm
  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist racks up 21 points
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist dropped 21 points in just 23 minutes on Wednesday, making 8-of-11 FGs and 5-of-6 FTs with four rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Advice: MKG is surging with double-digit points in six of his past seven games, and coach Steve Clifford had nothing but praise for him after tonight's game. "[MKG's] having such a good year," he said. "He's playing so well on both sides of the ball. He's playing efficiently and intelligently on offense." His minutes had crept into the 30-32 range prior to this blowout, and he's a solid pickup if he's still available in shallower leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:29 pm
  • Austin Rivers (heel) still needs walking boot
Austin Rivers (ankle, heel) will wear a protective walking boot for at least one more week.

Advice: Doc Rivers said Austin will be "in and out" of the boot, but it's still unclear when he might return to the court. His absence ensures that Lou Williams and Milos Teodosic will be leaned on heavily, with Jawun Evans and Tyrone Williams also earning more minutes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 6:15 pm

  • Evan Fournier hasn't asked for a trade
Evan Fournier said he has not asked the Magic for a trade.

Advice: There really haven't been many rumors on Fournier, but the Magic continue to slide in the standings. "I’m not going to think about what’s going to happen or where I would enjoy playing or something, because it’s all speculation," Fournier said. His fantasy owners will certainly want him to stay with the Magic, assuming there's no cautious shutdown. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:30 pm
  • Iman Shumpert (knee) practices Wednesday
Iman Shumpert (knee surgery, foot) practiced on Wednesday.

Advice: He's inching his way closer to a return, but he won't be much of a factor in the rotation even when he's cleared to play. Leave Shumpert on the wire. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:05 am
    Injured
  • Josh Jackson (groin) scores eight points
Josh Jackson (groin) scored eight points vs. the Blazers on Tuesday, hitting 4-of-12 shots with two rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Advice: He had four fouls which limited him to 23 minutes, so he couldn't build off his 21-point game on Sunday. The game is slowing down for the rookie and his outlook for the rest of the season is promising with the Suns focusing on player development, but this isn't a great week to stash him since they only have one more game on the schedule this week. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:33 pm
  • Al-Farouq Aminu hits four more treys
Al-Farouq Aminu hit 5-of-12 shots and four 3-pointers for 14 points, nine rebounds and a block in 28 minutes of Tuesday's easy 118-111 win over the Suns.

Advice: The Suns had a big fourth quarter (39-26) but still lost by seven, while Aminu bounced back after a quiet game on Sunday, when he had just six points, seven rebounds, a block and zero 3-pointers. Aminu is bouncing around on a lot of waiver wires, but he's quietly averaging 11 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 2.2 3-pointers over his last five games. He's hit at least one 3-pointer in eight of his nine January games and if you need a big man who can steal and hit 3-pointers, Aminu seems to be coming on after a rather quiet second half of December.
