      Bobby Portis finished Thursday’s Game 6 loss to the Pacers with 20 points (8-of-17 FGs, 3-of-7 FTs), 15 rebounds, two assists, and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

      Advice: After losing his composure and getting ejected from Game 4, Portis posted solid stat lines in the series’ final two games. But it wasn’t enough to keep the Bucks alive, as Giannis Antetokounmpo’s absence and the team’s lack of depth was too much to overcome. Due to his consistent value as a reserve, fantasy managers did not hesitate to use a late-round pick on Portis. Boasting a Yahoo ADP of 113.2, he finished the regular season ranked just outside the top 100 in 9-cat per-game value. The 2024-25 season is the last guaranteed season on Portis’ contract, as he has a player option for 2025-26. He should again be a reliable late-round option in standard leagues this fall.       Advice: Portis atoned for his ejection in Game 4, leading the Bucks to an emphatic victory. He led all scorers with 29 points, having his way on the interior against a Pacers team that looked out-enthused. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) still on the sideline, Portis has been the primary beneficiary. Milwaukee will need him to replicate this performance Thursday should they hope to force a Game 7.       Advice: After getting ejected early in Game 4, Portis was able to play the entire game on Tuesday. He was able to make up for it with his best performance of the series to help them secure the win and extend the series. He has been fantastic as a starter in place of Giannis Antetokounmpo and has a double-double in every game that he has finished this series.       Anthony Davis recorded a double-double on Monday with 17 points (8-of-11 FGs), 15 rebounds, four assists and two blocks against Denver in Game 5.

      Advice: After a strong first half, AD exited the game briefly due to a left shoulder injury. While he was able to play through it, he really wasn’t the same player after that. 16 of his 17 points came before halftime, and if he stayed healthy, the result of this game may have been different. AD has been banged up all season, but he was still able to play a career-high 77 games. Davis has been knocked in fantasy hoops over the last few years by his lack of games played, but he may have flipped the script this season.       Davis suffered a left shoulder injury during the third quarter of Monday's Game 5 against the Nuggets but was able to return after visiting the locker room. He recorded 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 40 minutes in the loss.

      Advice: Davis suffered the injury early in the third quarter on a play during which he took contact to his left shoulder, and though he was able to remain in the contest immediately afterward, he was barely able to use his left arm. The 31-year-old exited the game with four minutes left in the third quarter and went to the locker room, later returning for the final period. The injury seemed to impact Davis on the offensive end of the court, forcing LeBron James and Austin Reaves to shoulder heavy workloads down the stretch.       Advice: Williams made his mark in the fourth quarter of Monday's series-clinching win, scoring six of his 11 fourth-quarter points from downtown while adding two boards and one steal in 12 minutes of action. He scored 20-plus points in the final three matchups of the opening round and will continue to be a key piece of the puzzle for a young Thunder team moving deeper into the postseason.       Advice: Giddey’s shot has been a weakness for the team’s offense all year, but he has improved drastically over the course of the season. He may have peaked during Games 3 and 4, as he knocked down four 3-pointers in each to help the Thunder complete the sweep and advance to the second round. His season-high of five 3-pointers also came in New Orleans, so he seems to really enjoy shooting on these rims.       Jalen Williams posted a full line on Monday with 24 points (9-of-17 FGs), eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and two triples in a 97-89 win over the Pelicans in Game 4.

      Advice: OKC has their superstar in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but JDub is a star in the making that has shined on the national stage. He closed out this series by scoring eight straight points with less than five minutes left to give the Thunder a double-digit lead late in the fourth. Williams didn’t make the impact that Lu Dort did, but he did make contribute a ton on the defensive end in this series, as they held the Pelicans to 89.5 points per game. They’ll take on the winner of the Mavericks-Clippers series in round two, with a chance to make the Western Conference Finals on the line. Rotoworld Monday, 8:30 pm
