      Advice: Towns can't find an offensive rhythm, and the star big man had another woeful showing, particularly from three-point range, where he missed all eight of his attempts. The double-double was a nice outcome for the fantasy managers who continue to trust him, but it's worth noting Towns has yet to reach the 20-point mark in any game of the series while shooting a woeful 27.8 percent from the field, including 13.6 percent from deep.     • Karl-Anthony Towns’ struggles continue in Game 3
      Karl-Anthony Towns shot 5-of-18 from the field and 4-of-5 from the foul line in Sunday’s 116-107 loss to the Mavericks, accumulating 14 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists in 38 minutes.

      Advice: Towns is mired in a brutal slump at the worst possible time. With Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki in attendance, the self-proclaimed “best shooting big man of all time” missed all eight of his 3-point attempts in Game 3. And Towns is just 4-of-32 from beyond the arc over his last five games. Even with Jaden McDaniels (15/1/0/1 with three 3-pointers) and Mike Conley shooting the ball well, Minnesota’s two stars (KAT and Anthony Edwards) have been thoroughly outplayed by Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.       Luke Kornet (left wrist sprain) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Pacers.

      Advice: After injuring his wrist during Game 2, Kornet did not play in Game 3 on Saturday. Xavier Tillman and Oshae Brissett played 13 and nine minutes, respectively, not enough playing time to impact DFS tournaments.       Kornet (wrist) is questionable for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Pacers on Monday, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.

      Advice: Kornet suffered a sprained left wrist early in Game 2 against Indiana and carried a doubtful tag prior to Game 3 before being officially held out. The questionable tag is a slight upgrade, but with the Celtics up 3-0, there is no indication they will risk further injury to the 28-year-old before a potential Finals series.     • Ben Sheppard fails to score in spot start Saturday
      Ben Sheppard missed all four of his shot attempts in Saturday’s Game 3 loss to the Celtics, going scoreless with three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 26 minutes.

      Advice: Sheppard was tabbed to fill the void left by Tyrese Haliburton, who sat with a left hamstring injury. The rookie guard didn’t provide much value in Game 3, as he was 0-of-3 from deep and failed to score. Sheppard might remain in the starting lineup for Monday’s Game 4, depending on what happens with Haliburton.
