    Advice: Minnesota has the Sixth Man of the Year on their team in Naz Reid, but NAW has also had a strong series off the bench, which continued in this game. Through three games, Alexander-Walker is averaging 14.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 3.0 triples in 31 minutes per game, despite coming off the bench. He didn’t get any steals in Game 3, but he continues to make a massive impact on the defensive end. He’ll continue to make life difficult for Devin Booker and Bradley Beal in Game 4 on Sunday.     Hardy finished with one point (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one assist and one steal in three minutes during Friday's 101-90 win over the Clippers in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

    Advice: Hardy, along with A.J. Lawson and Dwight Powell, secured a handful of minutes down the stretch Friday. With the game well in hand, the Mavericks were able to give their fringe players a rare opportunity to see playoff basketball. This is not something we should expect to see very often moving forward. Although the final score was relatively close, the Mavericks took control early in this one and now hold a 2-1 series lead over a Clippers team in need of a spark.     Westbrook was ejected from Saturday's 101-90 Game 3 loss to the Mavericks with 6:10 to play in the fourth quarter. He finished with one point (0-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 19 minutes.

  • Russell Westbrook ejected in fourth quarter
    Russell Westbrook has been ejected from Game 3 against Dallas on Friday.

    Advice: After getting tangled up with Luka Doncic, Westbrook shoved Doncic away from him and threw push at PJ Washington after that. There were plenty of words exchanged as well, which ended Westbrook’s night halfway through the fourth quarter. He had one point on 1-of-7 shooting, so this was certainly a frustrating night for him.   • Obi Toppin chips in 15 points off bench in Game 3
    Obi Toppin provided a boost off the bench with 15 points (6-of-11 FGs), six rebounds and two triples against the Bucks on Friday.

    Advice: Toppin scored 13 points total in Games 1 and 2 of this series, but he exceeded that number in this game. He only played 17 minutes, and it’s unlikely that he plays a larger role moving forward. However, he stepped up and provided them with a nice boost in this one. Toppin was the team’s starting power forward to open the year, but he has still found a way to be effective as a reserve recently.   • Steps up off bench in Game 3 win
    Toppin finished with 15 points (6-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and six rebounds over 17 minutes in Friday's 121-118 overtime win over Milwaukee in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

    Advice: Toppin provided a nice spark off Indiana's bench to help his squad take a series lead over Milwaukee, leading all bench players in scoring while ending as one of five Pacers with 15 or more points in the overtime contest.
