      Jaden McDaniels shot 9-of-15 from the field in Wednesday’s Game 1 loss to Dallas, tallying 24 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and six 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

      Advice: After shooting 6-of-9 from three in the final two games of Minnesota’s second-round series win over Denver, McDaniels stayed hot in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. He made six of his nine attempts from deep against the Mavericks while also leading the Timberwolves in scoring. On a night when Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns combined to score 35 points on 12-of-36 shooting, McDaniels’ performance kept Minnesota within striking distance.     • Anthony Edwards struggles in Game 1, scores 19 PTS
      Anthony Edwards played 41 minutes in Wednesday’s 108-105 loss to the Mavericks, accounting for 19 points (6-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 11 rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and five 3-pointers.

      Advice: On Wednesday, Edwards made his first appearance in the Western Conference Finals, and he was not his usual self offensively. He settled too often in Game 1, with 12 of his 16 shot attempts coming from beyond the arc. By comparison, only 36% of Edwards’ shot attempts in Minnesota’s second-round series against Denver were 3-pointers. The good news for DFS players is that he offered solid production in the rebound and assist categories while making five 3-pointers.       Brown contributed 26 points (10-20 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-8 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals across 44 minutes during Tuesday's 133-128 overtime victory over the Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

      Advice: This was a great response from Brown after he was held to 11 points in the final game of the previous series against the Cavaliers. He's been terrific for most of the playoffs, to be fair, as he's hitting 54.8 percent from the field while averaging 23.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:36 am

      Tatum amassed 36 points (12-26 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 10-12 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and three steals in 46 minutes during Tuesday's 133-128 overtime win over Indiana in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

      Advice: Everyone knows what Tatum can do offensively, and he's now scored at least 33 points in three of his last four games. However, it was his defense on Tyrese Haliburton that was ultimately the difference in this game. Tatum was clutch in overtime, and Boston will now head into Game 2 with a ton of momentum.       Bogdanovic underwent surgery on his left wrist Wednesday and will be re-evaluated in 6-to-8 weeks.

      Advice: It was previously reported that Bogdanovic would undergo surgeries on both his left wrist and his left foot, but there's no clarity on when he will undergo the foot procedure. Bogdanovic made only 29 appearances for the Knicks after being traded to New York at the deadline, posting averages of 10.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.6 three-pointers.     • Jaylen Brown finishes Game 1 win with 26 points
      Jaylen Brown logged 44 minutes in Tuesday’s 133-128 overtime win over Indiana, finishing with 26 points (10-of-20 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), seven rebounds, five assists, three steals, one block, and one 3-pointer.

      Advice: After scoring just 11 points in Boston’s series-clinching win over Cleveland on May 15, Brown got his Eastern Conference Finals off to a good start. The Celtics star has scored 26 points or more in three of the team’s last four games, shooting 50% or better in each. What also has DFS players pleased is the production in other categories, most notably the assists, steals, and blocks. While Brown was responsible for seven assists in that Game 5 victory over Cleveland, the four “stocks” are the most in a game for him this postseason.     • Jayson Tatum posts 36/12/4/3 line in Game 1 win
      Jayson Tatum shot 12-of-26 from the field and 10-of-12 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 133-128 overtime win over the Pacers, scoring 36 points with 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and two 3-pointers in 45 minutes.

      Advice: Tatum led all scorers with 36 points, and his 3-pointer with a little over 42 seconds remaining in overtime gave Boston a four-point lead. From there, the Celtics did what they needed to do to sew up Game 1. Tatum shot 2-of-8 from three but was considerably more efficient inside the arc. Both teams had some miscues down the stretch, with Boston benefitting from Indiana’s fourth-quarter errors to force overtime.       Caldwell-Pope racked up five points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 40 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Caldwell-Pope scored single digits for the sixth time in the past eight games, highlighting the Nuggets' struggles when it comes to depth on the offensive end. While he continues to play a key role for Denver, his lack of production cannot be ignored when it comes to fantasy value.       Porter posted seven points (3-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt), nine rebounds and two blocks across 34 minutes during Sunday's 98-90 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Porter went just 1-for-6 from the three-point line, continuing a rough series for the sharpshooter. Over the seven-game span, Porter scored fewer than 10 points on five occasions. It was an unfortunate end for Porter after he managed to put together a strong season.
